In Pages 5.5.1 when I go to the Open menu I cannot get a preview of any of the files in the list using the spacebar, which I can do in every other application and finder. Is there a workaround?
In all other applications and in the finder, if I select a document and press the spacebar I get a quickview preview of that file. It does not work in Pages when I choose Open and am given a list of files to select from. This was not the case in older versions of Pages. Is there a workaround, other than doing quickview in the Finder before going to Pages.
On Yosemite, Pages documents that are in a package (folder) format are viewable with Quick Look in the Pages v5.5.1 file chooser. Pages documents that are in the Single File (compressed, renamed folder) format are viewable in diminished size with Quick Look. Other documents that can be opened in the version(s) of Pages on your Mac will also open properly in Quick Look from the file chooser.

What more is there to say? I was given an address to use in a project I am working on. It does NOT include www in the address. - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.

- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.

I have windows 7 SP1 64 bit machine with 8 GB of RAM. and have office 365 pro plus installed on it. I use windows explorer preview pane a lot and suddenly it has stopped working. Whenever I click on any excel, power-point, word file with the preview pane
enabled it gives me the error as below:
for Excel: Not enough memory to run Microsoft Excel. Please close other applications and try again.
For Power point: there is not enough memory or system resources to start power point.
However the file opens fine when I double click it. I have tried the following"
1. Repaired, re-installed office 365 pro plus.
2. Disabled, enabled and changed virtual memory page file size. It did not make any difference.
3. Have verified folder and search options and they are fine for the preview pane.
Is there anything we can do about it?Since we were unable to reproduce in my test machine, we were unable to determine the root cause of the problem. This seems to be happening when Windows is trying instantiate the Office application for the preview in the Preview pane, if the repair
Office still doesn't work, we might turn our mind onto Windows OS level.
Here is my suggestion:
1. Disable all of security programs or Anti-virus on that machine.
2. Disable DEP.
3. If you installed any video or graphic codec programs, please temporary to remove them to check the result.

Preview sidebar location is different from every other application
For every other application (Finder, iTunes, iCal) the sidebar is on the left. In Preview the sidebar is on the right! Apple - please be consistent (or give us the option to change the location).

I had Iphoto 08 and now is gone, I have looked under applications and is not there. Also most of the pictures are gone. Can you easily delete the application?
Obviously you can.
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store or have a Recent Mac you can find it in your Purchases List. -
I got CS4 software. When the first time i install, i chose the normal installation content. Then I found that there was no photoshop on the start menu. After that I try to put the disk into the notebook again and find that there is no photoshop listed on the "installation list"

Verizon iPhone 5, 64GB black - is anyone having issues with a very choppy conversation while talking on the phone? Both my wife and I have the same phones and are both having the same issue. We can only hear every other word of the person we are talking to. This happens at home, on the road and in the downtown area while calling both cellphones and landlines. It could be that someone has accessed your AppleID/iCloud account with out authorization. Or it could be that you forgot to remove find my iPhone form a phone that your previously owned.

Not sure if anyone can help but I have a copy of Photoshop CS5.1. Ever since it was installed, every now and again when I try do something simple like save a file or scale something using the Transform tool, in fact anything at all it comes up with "Could not complete your request because of a program error". Have thought about re-installing it but I have lost my serial number. I'm living in Ireland and trying to get to talk to someone in tech support is a complete joke. Any ideas what to do ? Thanks

I upgraded to Mountain from Snow and find that there is now a problem adding iphoto to the cloud. I have iphoto '08,version 7.1.5. Tried to follow one poster's advice and upgrade to 9.1 but I need 9.0 first and I can't find that. suggestions? thanks!
You have to buy iPhoto from the Mac App Store.

Game port already in use quit other application and try again?
ok didnt know where to post it but, i got a mac mini and im up to date on all updates. I play warcraft three frozen throne computer game on it. I play a few matches or so in custom games then boom a message pops up saying that another application is using a needed gaming port, please quit other application and try again. I have no idea what it is talking about because the only thing im running is warcraft three. I have no clue how to fix this, so if anyone knows please help me out here.
