In pages I have the new logo and when I try to open a document it says I need an update to open. My computer says pages has been updated. Any suggestions?

I am unable to open certain documents in Pages. A number of documents in Pages have the new logo and when I try to open it, I am prompted to update, yet my computer says Pages update is installed. Not sure how to get around this? Thanks

You are not on OSX 10.7.4, you are on OSX 10.9.
You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
The newer Pages 5 in your Applications folder which can open the older Pages '09 but frequently alters/damages the file.
The older Pages '09 in your Applications/iWork folder which can not open the newer Pages 5 files.
You appear to be alternately opening one or the other.
Apple has removed over 90 features from Pages 5.

Best is to archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting its files back to Pages '09 versions, then rate/review it in the App Store, and get back to work.

I can't personally as I never really liked nor used the picture frame feature in iPad. Just search in the App Store and read customer reviews and you'll likely find something you'll like.

Check USB connections
If there’s an issue with the USB port, cable, dock, or hub, or if the device becomes disconnected during restore, try troubleshooting the USB connection, then troubleshooting your security software.
Common errors: 13, 14, 1600-1629, 1643-1650, 2000-2009, 4000, 4005, 4013, 4014, 4016, “invalid response”, and being prompted to restore again after a restore completes.
To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
Use another USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port on your computer.
Try a different dock connector (or no dock).
Add (or remove) a USB hub between your device and computer.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, with no routers, hubs, or switches.
If you see your error after changing your USB connections, continue to the next section to troubleshoot your hardware.

HT1430 I have a new iPad. when I try to open it a message pops up that says ipad not backed up. This ipad hasn't been backed up. Backups happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to WIFI.

Go into Settings>Messages>Send and Receive and make sure that your phone number is checked and iMessage reads as activated. Remove the checkmark from the email address and make sure that only the phone number if checked. It should appear grayed out, but should still have a checkmark. If the phone number does not have a checkmark, then turn off iMessage, wait a few moments and then turn iMessage back on and make sure that it activates.

HT1420 I bought "Blue Ocean Strategy" in audiobook format. I have authorized 2 computers and when I try to play it. It says that I have authorized 5 computers already. I deauthorized all of then and authorized 2 again and still get the same problem.

Am I renting the music and audio books or am I buying from Itunes?

For some stupid reason, you need to deauthorize your old computers, everytime this question comes up!!! Had the same problem.
