In Pages I was deleting a section of text and when I lifted my finger off the delete button the computer just kept deleting until I pressed the button again. What did I do? Is there a keyboard shortcut to continuously delete without pressing delete?

While I am sorry this happened to you, I am beyond glad to know that this happened to someone else. I was typing my Graduate thesis when this happened to me! Lost a lot of work and learned a very valuable lesson about auto save and multiple copies! I called Microsoft about this, the woman I spoke with claimed I was the first one she had ever heard of having this issue...blamed it on Apple, said it was likely some key stroke? Kinda would like to know how I did it, so I NEVER do it again. And the button was not stuck!

Is there a keyboard shortcut for Opening the Channels Panel?

I've googled, searched discussions, and tried recording actions but haven't found the solution.
What I'd like is a simple keyboard shortcut to open the Channels panel.
That's it.
I can create and run actions that create, delete, or move channels; use the menu or channels tab to open it -- but I can't seem to find a way to use a keystroke combination to open the channels panel like you can do for the layers (F7) or actions (F9) panels.
Anyone have an idea?

Sometimes things are just simply right in front of you without being seen.
The solution was spot on. I'd somehow not 'seen' the "Application Menu" drop-down in the keyboard shortcuts dialog box.
Now back to post-processing!

Firefox has always opened new tabs in a blank page, so I'm guessing that the way you had it before was added by an extension.
If you to to Tools > Add-ons > Extensions, are there any extensions disabled?
In any case, you can still do this with a mouse shortcut. Hold down the Ctrl key as you drag a tab to an empty area on the tab bar.

Cmd-Delete deletes a selected file without a mouse.
What you want, I think, is a way to select the file (presumably in Finder) without a mouse so that it can be deleted.
If you open a new Finder window - Cmd-N you can navigate with the up/down arrow keys as you navigate a file is selected , once selected it can be deleted with cmd-delete.
If while navigateing with the up/dpwn arrow keys you encounter a folder you can delete the folder with cmd-delete or open the folder with the right arrow and proceed to naviagte and delete.

Home and End without the Ctrl key should be sufficient to go to the top and bottom of a page.<br />
You only need the Ctrl key if you are in a text area.
Do you otherwise have problems with scrolling a page?
Does the Ctrl key work otherwise?
Did you try a new profile?
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

I know there are keyboard shortcuts to move to the next and previous frames -- "." and "," but they're not really what I'm referring to. Also, these keys don't necessarily move to the next and previous frames, rather it just seems to move the red playhead instead of the blue highlighted box (which represents the current frame). This is something I'm also confused about with this keyboard shortcut.
I would like to know though, if there is a keyboard shortcut to move to the next keyframe (each frame that begins with a dot). Thanks for your help.

Option clicking any bin twirl down will open all bins. Otherwise, as shooternz noted, the shortcut wouldn't know which bin you wanted to open, so it's not really possible with some kind of clicking.

I know I can mirror displays by going through the system preferences then displays.
But I would like to be able to swith from mirroring to not mirroring quickly, without going through the system preferences every time. Is there a keyboard shortcut?
My Macbook Pro had the F7 key where I could swith in and out of mirroring. I tired F7 with my Air and it didn't work.
