IN Portal BSP Blank page is comming

Hi All,
I am facing problem in Production portal . its calling BSP application and its showing Blank page.
i have checked in backedn its working..... and portal the iview also working fine..
can any body suggest what would be the case.
point will be given immediatly.

Please refrain from using such statements in here
Check the URL that the bsp application is displaying.
It might have a path like /sap/bc/bsp/sap...
Logon to the Tcode : SICF
and navigate to the path that is mentioned in the URL and right click and activate the path.
In most of the cases, you would encounter the problem when the path is not activated in the SICF.

if you are using Internet Explorer go to tools->internet options->advanced and uncheck the check box against "show friendly HTTP errors" and run the app again. do you see some meaningful error message in the screen now?
let us know the error message to analyze further.

Portal is blank after modifying com.sap.portal.layouts.framework

Using SAP EP 7.0 SPS 18 and NWDS 7.0.18
I downloaded the par file com.sap.portal.layouts.framework because I wanted to increase the width of the detailed navigation panel. I imported it into NWDS and in the WAandNavPanel.jsp I modified this line

I then selected 'Quick PAR Upload' from NWDS and selected 'Include the source code of the portal application' and 'Deploy PAR' checkboxes and then deployed.
Now when I login to the portal, its just a blank screen. What did I do wrong, and how can I fix this please?

Hi Marshall,
Just a couple of notes for you:
Changing the SAP namespace to your own/client namespace is a good idea, though you'll need to copy all referenced Portal objects if possible. In addition, every support pack or patch will require you to recreate this PAR file using the original SAP source as the underlying code may have changed.
All that said, the easiest way to check out a change is to make a change directly to the PAR file and upload. I do this when working with a local Portal install (not the development one).
Another point, make sure when you upload it via System Admin/Support/Runtime Tools/Administration Console (or something like that); that you get a valid version number when you upload. If you don't, that indicates something is wrong with the PAR file.
Maybe a test for you would be to take the existing PAR file, and upload it again without modification to see if there's a problem; then do it again, but this time just adding some space or something to the file (no code changes). Keep baby stepping till you work out what code is making the screen go blank for you.

The curser is no longer working in Pages. Meaning...I can open a blank page, but I can't type. Any suggestions?

When I open Pages and get a blank page, the curser is no longer working. Meaning, I am now unable to type a document as there's no place to begin. Never had this happen before. You have started a PAge Layout document instead of the expected Word Processing document. Have a look in the New template chooser and you'll see that there are two types of documents/templates.

When I click on any link in different site "example: facebook n emails etc" nothing opens in new tab its just blank page?

Go to Tools->Options->Apps
Here you should see two columns: Content Type on the left, Actions on the right.
Find and select excel spreadsheet or any other content type in the left column. There should be a corresponding action in the right column. What is it? You can use the drop-down list to select the option you want:
Always Ask - Firefox will ask each time: What do you want to do with this file?
Save file - Firefox will save this file to your computer
Use - Firefox will give this file to the program to open it
In case of saving, Firefox will either prompt you every time where you want the file to be saved, or save it to the default location. It depends on the preference in
Tools->Options->General->Download

Blank page when clicking on Birth of Child process in portal

Hi,
We activated Birth of Child(US) process in portal. The link is coming fine but on click of it nothing is coming in the portal...neither adobe form nor error message. Just a blank page is coming. When I run the same process in HRASR_TEST_PROCESS, its working fine.
Is this with the required authorization or any other problem. Please help me.

Please check if there is any message in subsites Site settings blank pag source file in IE browser via F12.
Also check if it could help with adding SharePoint site URL in IE trusted sites zone.
Also test this issue out side your company network, see if there is any settings in comany network causing this, e.g. firewall mentioned by Shannon Herold 101 in your another thread.
SharePoint Online is as part of Office365 in the cloud, it seems you have posted the issue in our Office365 dedicated forum, please keep monitoring the udpate there.

When i try to open a tab a Yahoo search page comes-up, i just want a blank page.

When I do a Ctrl-t to get a new tab it brings up a Yahoo search page. I want a Blank page, like I used to get with a new tab. I must have downloaded the Yahoo stuff, but need to know how to reset my tabs in Firefox to get a Blank page again.

Can you get back to the home page? If so, double click on the Home button and a row of recent Apps will line up along the bottom of the screen. Scroll across and look for the Mail icon. Press and hold on it until it starts to wiggle. A red minus sign should appear on each icon. Press the minus sign on the Mail App to remove it from the list of recent Apps. This will stop it from running in the background.
If you can not get back to the home page, try to reboot the iPad. Hold both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. The iPad should restart in a couple of minutes.

I was able to fix mine. I went to software update and updated a few things. I did not update everything, but only what I thought were the essentials, which I believe was Safari, a security update, and a firmware update.
Then I deleted and reinstalled Itunes yet another time. Now the itunes store is back up again.

We have just configured new application server (adding one more to existing servers), when we lauch EIC (interaction centre) from this new server, it shows nothing, it just displays blank page,

In CRM 5.0 does t-code CRM_IC launch the page for you correctly? if yes then I think you need to have your portal admin check this as it would seem portal related.

When opening a web page, a blank page about the size of a third of the page appears for a sec then the full page comes up

when I open igoogle or any other website, a mini blank page (about a third of the full screen) appears for a sec then the full page complete with info appears. The blank page displays only mozilla firefox, the next full size shows the complete web site, e.g. google, yahoo, hotmail, etc. The lap top does not do this only the desk computer. This has only started recently. We did up grade our dsl speed but they ATT has assured us that the problem rests with the browser.

Some website will not load when their new tab comes up, just a blank page that says done on the bottom

The default action in Firefox when you open a new tab is to display a blank page. Many extensions can change that action, try this one.
