In Store Only Products
I would like to create a Catalog that contains items that can only be purchased at the physical store not online. I have considered not putting a price on the items but that still allows the user to add the item to the cart.
Is there a way to create this kind of catalog? I have considered using some JS to hide/disable to add to cart functionality and then add an In Store Only image.
Is there a better way?

It means display the prices and add to cart button for customers who are
logged in to secure zone. So you can use that option if the site isn't
using the secure zones.
If it is, then another option is to add something like
class="offine-product" to one of the custom fields, then use it in the
product layout like this:
<div > content of your layout </div> and then use some simple
CSS to hide the price and add to cart button e.g.
.offline-product .price

I am trying, thus far with no success, to buy an ipod nano 16gb here in Germany. However whilst the stores advertise it they don't have it in stock and can't tell when it will be. The german apple store only has the 8gb version. Should i try to order from a reseller then they will only post within the uk. iSo my question is - whats going on? Can I store only the aggregate data in OLAP cube
Hi All,
I know that the OLAP cubes store the leaf data and then builds the aggregate data on top of it and stores with in it. I have huge amounts of data ( like billions of data in my fact table and 6-8 dimension tables). If you keep the leaf data along with the agg data with in the cube would be too large to build.
So I am thinking to have to store only the agg data within the OLAP cube and for the leaf data it should still read from the Relational tables. Something like Hybrid OLAP.
(what I mean is
1. create the dimensions and cube in the AWM on 11g.
2. I will also specifiy the levels that I want the agg data to be calculated and stored in the OLAP cube.
(what I want is
1. I want to store only the agg data in the cube and leaf data still in the relatlional tables.
2. when I read the cube and drill down to the leaf level , it should fetch the leaf level data.
Is this possible in Oracle OLAP, if yes please provide some pointers

SFirst you should try out storing and aggregating data to atleast see if the cube-loading time, query-time and AW-size is within acceptable limit or not. 11gOLAP especially 11gR2 OLAP is very efficient on all three fronts.
Regarding specifying levels, you can either use Cost-based-aggregation and pick the %age that should be pre-aggregated OR you can use Level-based-aggregation and pick the levels from each dimension that should be pre-aggregated.
Try these out before venturing into anything else. You will be surprised by the results. There are other ways to store the data in smaller multiple-cubes and joining those cubes through formulas. Make sure you don't mistake an attribute for a dimension.
Not sure what you mean by just storing aggregated data in olap cubes. You can just do a SUM .. GROUP BY .. of relational data before loading it into olap cubes. For example, if you source data is at DAY level, you can SUM.. GROUP BY .. at MONTH-level and then load month-level data into olap cubes where leaf-level is month-level.
The sql view (used by reporting tools) could then be a join between month-level "olap" data and "day-level" relational data. When you are drilling-down on the data, the sql view will pick up data from appropriate place.
One more thing. Drill-Thru to detail data is a functionality of reporting tools also. If you are using OBIEE or Discoverer Plus OLAP, then you can design the reports in a way that after you reach the olap leaf-level, then it will take the user to a relational detail-report.
These are all just quick suggestions (on a Friday evening). If possible, you should get Oracle OLAP Consulting Group help, who can come up with good design for all your reporting needs. -

Where is the option "Store only headlines" in Mail.app on Mavericks? I used to store all messages on gmail servers. Mail.app on Mountain Lion has feature to load only headlines of e-mails from Gmail. Now It's gone and with new OS Mavericks, I've got 10Gb of mail on my Mac locally.
This problem is slowly killing my machine! I 'upgraded' to a better spec machine so I could synch my phone would you believe it. I couldn't synch my phone and my laptop with a cable, that was fankly incredible.
Now I have a new machine and first thing I did was install mavericks, and now mac mail spends all it's time dowloading mail from may mail accounts. I have 4 imap gmail accounts set up and mail is using 56GB on my local disc to store them.
There use to be an option to limit the disc storage I think 5GB would be quite enough to hald the last few months email locally. Question is how do I set that limit in mavericks. Is there some plist I can edit or something.
Looking at the activity window it seems to spend A LOT of time
"updating cache directory"
I don't think I even have 56GB staore on the server, so how is it possible that I have more on the local copy? -
I have over 50 gigs of music on iTunes; can I store only some on my laptop and the rest on a backup HDD?
Just copy the music from one computer to another over your network or via a USB flash drive.
If you are in the US, have the latest version of iTunes (10.3) and the media was purchased via the iTunes store, you can redownload all the content via iTunes. -
Ledger S_ALR_87012123 - Only Production
When I running the report S_ALR_87012123, the following error message appears:
"Select exactly one ledger for the general ledger view
Message no. FR612"
The problem only occurs on PRD. In DEV and QAS is OK. How to check if the Ledger is active? Is there any other problem? Anyone ever had this problem and can help me, please?

Price in store was different from the price on the website (in store only)
I saw on BB website a Toshiba Laptop listed as 379.99 and it says "in store only". So I went to a best buy store in Culver City and they didn't have the laptop but I was told that they had it at the best buy in Glendale. The guy at BB in Culver City was nice enough to try to call them but no one ever answered the phone. So I went to the store in Glendale. I Found the same laptop but I was told that the price would be $549, not $379.99. If the price changed or something, you guys should change it on your website as well.
Here's the deal. I just went to my Best Buy Store in Gulfport MS to get this Laptop, after shutting down my PC an 20 minutes before I got to the store. I got there and they told me that the sale on that particular laptop did not exist and never did. I tried to go online in the store with All the info I jotted down on this PC. The webs for the Toshiba laptops L305D-S5892 at 379.99 and L305D-S5893 at 479.99 NO LONGER EXIST. The sales guy chuckled when I said I got all the info with the SKU's from the Best Buy site. I just got home and tried to bring up the pages here. The pages come up NO LONGER EXIST. I just talked to a friend who tried to purchase the same PC's in OHIO and the store refused to honor the online price yesterday stating that it must have been a mistake and they then tried to sell her a Compaq with 1g ram and 160 g HD, it doesn't even have the required ram to run Vista according to Microsofts website Vista requires 2g of ram. and it was more expensive, compared to the Toshiba that was listed online the Compaq is crap. Another sales person took over and informed her that Best Buy often places these ad's online for in store purchase only but when you get there they do not honor the sale ad posted to their site. The sales rep told her it is kind of like a teaser ad, except it's falsely advertising what they have. They tell you that their store doesn't sell it and send you from store to store trying to find the sale item. Then when they get enough complaints they remove it from the site as though it never existed. Without the proof they can not be charged with false advertising. She stated that it common practice with Best Buy to do this on their electronics. This is BS if they post it they should honor it.

I need to calculate the total sales and COGS for Sante Fe where I am seeing #Missing. So I set 2010 as two-pass calc. But it is not calculating total sales and total COGS becuase they are "Store Only". However, Gross margin which is Dynamic calc gets totaled in the bottom.
How can I calculate total sales and COGS for Santa Fe in 2010 ?You can use two pass on non-dynamic account dimension members. You would have to run in your calculation script two commands
First your agg, Calc all, calc dim or wahtever you do then you would have to run a calc twopass.
If you look at the DBAG, you can also find if you make your calculation script your default calc, then you might get away from having to do a calc twopass as there is logic built into the default to do two pass calculations in one pass -
Solution - only productive system are displayed in DSWP
Dear all,
I have created 4 Solutions.
In each solution - which has a "Productive System" as Leading Role of the Solution,
only productive systems are displays when I start my DSWP transaction.
Example :
1. Solution Name : Sol_ER
2. 3 logicals systems are assigned to this solution :
Z_ER_CRM_SERVER_50 ==> D12 - Q12 and P12 are assigned to this logical component.
Z_ER_ERP_60 ==> D11 - Q11 and P11 are assigned to this logical component.
3. When I start DSWP and I choose Sol_ER as SOLUTION, only P12 and P11 SAP systems are display.
I need to have all SAP sytems - D12-Q12-P12 and D11-Q11-P11 display in my SOLUTION.

Only productive systems are "Put in Solution" automatically.
QAS, TEST, DEV systems need to be explicitly "Put in Solution".
If you go into the solution, in change edit mode, and right click on the systems that are not showing up when the solution is used, and select "Put in Solution", then visually the SID should be highlighted green, and now available in the solution.
I hope this information has been helpful and resolves this problem.

In this i get all backup in Development and Quality server, But in Production server backup was fail and not only one all backup is fail from last 2 days . So can u tell me what is the problem with my production server and how can i find it in production.
And any hardware issue or OS issue is responsible for this.

I'm working 0n soa 11.1.1.5 version.I have to store only the faulted instances and related payload in the database.I have configured the below properties in my composite.xml file

I think I might have found an answer - importing a folder and or Limewire!
Either Limewire mess's with the files, folder or your system or iTunes attempts to stop illegally downloaded files being played. iTunes might also do it if importing a lot of files in one go.
I imported a music folder that isn't mine from our home network drive that has a few tracks in it downloaded through Limewire. I re checked some of the files in Ableton Live and they are actually damaged! So I tried importing one of the Limewire tunes again individually after finding some info online (links to the pages at bottom) and the track plays no prob now. I also un-checked the "look for shared folders" in iTunes preferences.
For about 2 years now I haven't been able to import more than 3 files at a time which is why I imported a whole folder (about 50 tracks) just after the software update and C.D importing.
My concern is that importing a whole folder even without any Limewire downloads in it might well be treated this way by iTunes. Most of the tracks in our network drive folder that have been downloaded through Limewire are legit direct connect transfers from producer to producer or legit submitted tracks!
