Inactive items show in the MRP Report

Inventory items marked as inactive show in the MRP report - 8.8, SP0, PL12. If there are requirements, they show regardless of whether or not Display Items without Requirements is checked. If there are no requirements and the Display Items without Requirements is checked, inactive items show too. Is this intentional?  My customer wants to know this and doesn't understand why their inactive items are showing in the MRP Report.

Hello Sally,
Did you check the following path:
Administration>System Initialization>General Settings-->Inventory Tab
Under this tab at the very last you have a checkbox " Display Inactive Items in Reports". Please uncheck this option and try running MRP again. Let us know if you still have questions.

    Hi Shankarappa,
    The Analysis -> Reports shows a list of views. Hence, once you create a report you need to complete two mandatory steps.
    1. Create a View
    2. Assign Report

    This seems to an ongoing issue (see related discussion link).  We've been experiencing the same update lag since last Friday.  The new additions to the Collection appear and are accessible in both the iPad and iPhone applications, but even though they additions appear in "Quick View", the material doesn't appear in the Collection itself.  Apple is aware of the issue and is investigating.  All the best...

  • How do I get a Resource's Proposed Time to show in the OLAP reports?

    I'm having an issue trying to gather/show a Resource's Proposed Time in the
    OLAPPortfolioAnalyzer OOTB report.  When looking into the data in Excel, the groupings show
    Committed, but part of that Committed data is actually Resource information that I know is
    Proposed.  In a nutshell, the line item appears as if it's time in the Committed bucket, when in fact it's supposed to be Proposed.
    Is there a way to show Proposed in this same report, in addition to Committed?  Basically showing a Resource's time grouped by Booking Type?  Or is that level of detail not possible here?
    I'm pulling out my hair here so any help'd be greatly appreciated.

    So, an interesting update I got from MS support...
    I opened up a ticket w/them cause I just couldn't get the info to show, but they were unable to duplicate the behavior I was seeing in their environment.  So, I packaged up my PS DBs (Archive, Draft, Published and Reporting) and sent them over to support. 
    Placing our DBs in their environment they were able to reproduce the issue we're seeing.
    After further research, support was able to identify that, if you Publish the project *through* Project Pro client, then the numbers, both Proposed and Committed, show as they should (meaning separate line items) in the OLAP reports.  We were able to
    verify that on our side: opened up Project Pro, published the project, rebuild the cubes, built the report, and saw line items for Committed and Proposed.
    However, not all folks that interface w/Project Server have a license for Project Pro, nor, as I understand it, is Project Pro a requirement to use Project Server.  So, support is digging deeper into this now, seeing if using Project Pro is the only
    way to get that information to surface (I hope not), or if there's some other issue there.
    Figured I'd update this as information comes in...I'll do so when I get a response from support.

    In MD04 transaction contain Purchase order, when I double click purchase order,It will get open .  But when I open same purchase order in MD05 system show message u201CThe MRP element no longer exist".

    I don't believe this is the same Purchase order.
    Review closely order number/item number/schedule number.  I believe you will see that the old entry (MD05) no longer exists, and has been replaced with a similar item.

    That's the only BADI I can think of that can help you.  If it doesn't suit your need, then you need a new ABAP reporting.

  • Deleted Items Appearing on the FBL3n Report for Open Items

    Hi All
    We just went live and I am facing a huge issue;
    I deleted many migration entries from loads of GL Accounts for multiple Co Codes, but on the FBL3n report, whenI execute with the option of 'Open Items' only, I  still see the deleted items with a green check sitting there.
    How can i get those from being visible?

    Hi:
                This is standard behavior. Your GL accounts are managed on line item basis hence despite of the fact you reversed the entries they will continue to be shown in open item selection criteria which in fact are not open items. It makes no sense to see a GL account in FBL3N on open item date since this account has been configured on the basis on line item management and i will continue to be shown as line item with green sign . Execute report FBL3N with open item or with all item (with date you give in open item) you will see the same figures and same line items. However you can exclude the reversed entries by fetching reversed with (BKPF-STBLG) field from menu ..settings...special fields and hence excluding the entries having this filed update.
    I hope this will solve your issue.

    I have a report with few columns and rows. Some of the cells do not have any data in them. But when I see the final report I see &nbsp displayed in the cells.
    Is there a way to show empty cells by removing these space characters in obiee 11g.

    In the Column Formula for the column where you see the *&nbsp* use the IFNULL function and replace with a space something like this:
    ifnull("Table"."Column", ' ')

  • Usage reports - Can we increase the number of days to show in the daily report?

    When I navigate to site setting >Popularity trends>Usage report and generate the excel report, I get to see the Dialy report and Monthly report.
    In Dialy report I can see only for 14 days, which I would like to alter to show me 30 days of data rather.
    Can you please let me know how to do this and/or whether is this possible.

    In Usage report, number of days is determined by RecentPopularityTimeFrame property, and it is 14 by default. You could change the recent time period to be anything between 1 and 14 days.

    If you would like to get report for more days, I’d recommend you use audit log for site collection. Customize the audit log period to 30 days or more. For more information:

  • Generating a document that will not show on the tax report

    Good Morning,
    I have an interesting situation involving the Tax report and the GL. My client had a AR down payment invoice that was entered in error and they made a credit note to cancel it and re enter the invoice correctly. Now when you look at the BP balance everything is correct however when you look at the tax report their is an extra credit because the Credit Note appears but the AR down payment invoice does not.
    Ultimately my questions are how do I make an entry to correct the tax report and for the future how do I correct a down payment document without hosing the Tax report?

    Hi John-Michael,
    when you create a DT invoice with the appropriate tax code, this document will appear in the tax report. When using the copy-to functionality in the DT invoice to create the credit memo, it will draw all data including the tax to that document. In the tax report these 2 transactions then cancel each other out.
    To correct the entry in your db I would hence recommend to reverse the credit memo with an appropriate invoice & then use the DT invoice as base document for the correct CM.

  • Show recently added blog items in a webpart with 1 blog item showing all the time.

    I need to pull 3 blog items from blog site and display it in the another SharePoint 2013 site collection home page so I have added content search webpart and in Select a query i choosed recently changed items(system) and in restrict by app i had choosen
    specify a url and pointed the url to the blog post list which it should pull.
    so now it is pulling all the recently changed list items in the list. which is good. but i want to show up 1 blog item on the webpart which should not change and rest(other 2) of the blog items should change. 
    how can i do this. any ideas please.

    So essentially you want a "featured" blog post to always be displayed first, followed by recent blog posts underneath?  
    Yeah you would need to add a new column to your blog, perhaps the easiest way to do this is add the Status column "Add from existing site columns" to your Posts list.  Then you can follow the instructions on this blog post:

    To add the Status field as a crawled property (step 13 from article above).  Then you can sort by Status (I would change the status options to "Featured Post" and "Non-Featured Post") Descending, and then Sort by LastModifiedTime Descending.  That

  • Sent FOLDER items showing in the main inbox.

    I need some help with a problem wiht the folder view.  Let me start out by saying this is NOT a "Hide Sent Items" options problem.  That feature works fine.
    The problem is emails are showing up in the main messages box when they are sent from Outlook.  They have the little envleope symbol, not a checkmark, beside each one.  And when I open one and scroll up it shows:
    Received Using: Desktop (secure)
    Folder: Sent Items
    Message Status: Open.
    I have a Blackberry 9800, 6.0 Bundle 1907.  Using BES 4.1
    Steps taken so far:
    Deleted BES account
    Wiped Blackberry
    Updated OS of the Blackberry
    Tried user on different handheld device
    Tried known workin user on original device (no errors for other user)
    Deleted Outlook account
    Deleted OST file
    Rebooted bes server
    Rebooted exchange server
    Tried different SIM card
    Hide sent items on and off
    Hide filed messages on and off
    Still have the same problem
    All i want to see when I click the MESSAGES button is my inbox.

    is sent items being redirected?
