Inbox setting in IC WebClint

Hi All,
I am using SAP CRM-5.0 . I have some requirement in IC WebClient inbox. After searching for a valid account I am confirming the same. Then I am opening the inbox. After that I want to show the Interaction Record for that account only. Is it possible to show that without using search tool for that account ?
  Pleas help me.
Thanks and regards
Indranil Datta

Hello!
No, it is all about customizing (I assume you are using CRM5.0):
SPRO->ICWeb->Basic Functions->Overview Viewsets->Define Overview Viewsets
->New entries
My customizing would be (please, take it as a sample customizing, you should not copy it literally):
OverviewViewset ZAccountOverview
Overview Layout: TLayout
Description:     ZAccount Overview
Viewset Title:   ZAccount Overview
In tab "View assignments":
1     Top Left Area     1     AccountInfo
2     Top Right Area     1     Ibase
<b>3     Bottom Area     1     HistoryView</b>
Number 3 is the important one since it contains the view that displays customer's interaction history.
Also, don't forget to assign your new Overview viewset to your runtime profile in the customizing:
SPRO->ICWeb->Basic Functions->Overview Viewsets->Assign overview viewsets to Runtime Profiles
Good luck! Just remember to play with the customizing options in order to find the one that fits best to your needs.
Regards, Joaquin

  • Accidentally have 2 inbox / sets of folders

I somehow have created 2 sets of folders in Outlook 2010.  One seems to be the current default and has a set of folders under the heading 'outlook' ( has inbox, drafts, sent items etc.).  The other is under a heading 'Mailbox - my name' as also
has the same named folders.  My Contacts and Calendar are all in the 'Mailbox - my name' folder.  My emails seem to now be in the top folder (Outlook).  The 'my name' inbox seems to have stopped getting new emails a week ago and I could empty
it.  My android phone has 'TouchDown' and now shows my calendar but not my emails, and my reminders and task show up on the phone but not on my desktop!  I have been trying to reduce the size of folders and then upgraded from Outlook 2007 to Outook
2010 and used the comcast 'autodiscover' feature on the desktop (Comcast business account links to an exchange server from them).  So -- I am guessing I should empty the 'my name' mailbox but wonder if I should then try to move the calendar and contacts
to the 'Outlook' folder or vice-versa.  Argh -- I hate it when I screw up like this and any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks - Scott

  • Where can I find the Global Inbox setting?

I'm about to go crazy. I've had Thunderbird for years now, and all of my previously-existing accounts are working the way I need/want them to. But it seems that maybe TB has moved/removed an option in an update since then? I've created two new email addresses, and they both have individual inboxes, which I do NOT want. I want everything dumping into a single inbox. As far as I can tell, I have all the OTHER folders (sent, junk, drafts, etc.) set to use the global folder settings, but I can't find the Global Inbox option anywhere.
According to the KnowledgeBase, it's under Server Settings --> Advanced, but I don't see it in there. What am I missing?

Sure enough, that's what happened. I didn't realize I had ''anything'' set up as IMAP, but those two were. Thanks!

  • SAP Inbox Setting

    Hi,
I have a background job which creates a spool of about 50 pages and send it to the SAP Inbox. But when i view this spool in inbox i can view only the first 16 pages, the rest being truncated. What setting i have to do for viewing it fully?
    Regards,
    Sam

    Hello,
I would assume you can click them on the side of the page at the response. I have not opened question yet

  • Thunderbird version 31.4.0 - 1. Single click now (sometimes) brings the full email up instead of staying on the inbox setting.

Used to have to double click on a message in the inbox for it to bring it into full screen mode. Now a single click does it randomly. If you have several messages highlighted and Control-click on another one it randomly brings all selections up in separate tabs. Also have seen the app resize smaller when one of these happens.

It is a combination of a bug and a misguided change in the search option. The auto complete used to go on "starts with" but now it uses " includes".
We keep hearing that they are working on a fix but so far all versions after v31 have this issue.
The last general release that worked properly was v24.6. You might want to go back to that version.

  • New BTmail inbox set up

Just gone through making new passwords security details etc and message from BT at end says they have a problem, try later.
Got better things to do than keep repeating procedure.
How about BT posting advice when they can cope with this?
    Best wishes to all
    Tode

I have not executed this but by seeing above scenario i can say to check below things.
    # root context (in this case _WC2_)- check the deployment descriptor
         - for all the configuration parameters because this takes hold of enterting in to repository
         -  It also has filters setting for other applications like /crx
         - Servlet mapping
    # Do same for /WC2/crx (as you mentioned above you only modified  launchpad.ctx.path = /WC2)
    # Do same for /WC2/admin console (not sure whether you have changed context path for this too)
    # check sling.properties if you have done any custom config changes (Day\Author\crx-quickstart\launchpad)
I think above may help you bit to make it work. All the best.

  • Setting search criteria in inbox

    Hi All,
I am using CRM-5.0 as back end. And I have some requirement in IC WebClient. I am trying to put some a default search criteria in inbox setting. So that after confirming the account I can get a list of all the interation records for that particular account. Please help me to do the same.
    Regards
    Indranil Datta.

Yeah I know your requirement is to directly display all the interaction records without any extra manual action. But this solution has a manual action of going to Inbox, selecting the quick search and then listing all the interaction records.
One more thing..I hope you have interaction record enabled as default transaction. Also u have a link to interaction in your navigation bar on left.
So when u confirm the client or the customer through Identify customer and then click on Interaction record,I remembered it displaying all the previous interactions of that client(in the last interactions).
Also u can enable interaction history link which will display all the interactions of that client.
But again u have to have some manual clicks.
So these are kind of alternative I would provide functionally.
But if this also not solves your problem. Then u need to customize it I guess.

  • Mutt/Offlineimap Sent mail is showing up in Gmail Inbox

    Hi,
I am just starting my journey with mutt and quite like the interface thus far but I am having trouble with sent emails showing up in my Gmail inbox.  It is a little annoying to always have my sent emails appear as unread in my inbox.  In my search for a solution I have found that this behavior sometimes occurs if you have Gmail filters that are set to never send to spam, I checked and do not have any such filters.  This could also happen if I had $record set, but I have specifically unset record.  My muttrc and offlineimaprc are as follows (I used several tutorial sites to help create these) (I have hashed out some personal details):
    muttrc

I use msmtp to send the emails (and they do send) but as far as I know that program should have nothing to do with my folder labeling.
What happens exactly:  When in mutt, I press 'm' and compose an email and send with 'y'.  Oddly enough, the email appears in my gmail inbox (the webmail) even before I sync mutt with offlineimap (I don't automatically sync).  Once I sync, I see the email in both my sent mail and inbox.
    Any thoughts would be appreciated

You have unset the record variable.

  • How can you set up your iphone 4s to show 2 seperate email address but that are on the same domain

I have 2 email address linked to me on Outlook. one is a personal one for me and one is a group email address but both on the same domain.
I have my own inbox set up on my iphone and i have tried to set up the group email address on my iphone, but because the credentials are the same, it is only bringing through my emails and not the one for the seperate email address - is there a way round this?
    Many thanks

What do you mean "the credentials are the same"? The part of the email address before the @ should be different. If not then you do not have two different email addresses.
Just go into the mail settings and choose add account. Enter the info for the second account. It won't matter that your incoming and outgoing smtp server are the same. If it did how could millions of people all use Yahoo or Google?
If what you really have is one email account with a rule set to send specific emails to another folder, someone else will have to help you.

  • Setting Up a Second Icon for a Second Email Address

My enterprise is dumping all of my email into the first mailbox on the BB. How do I go about getting it in its own icon? Like my other email account (gmail).

    1.Go to Enterprise Messages
    2. Click to BB button and in opened Menu choose Options
    3. in opened Menu go to "Inbox setting"
    4. here leave checkbox only on Enterprise Account, other checkbox remove.
    5. Save it
All messages will come in separate folder.

  • ERMS work items not visible in IC Web Client Agent Inbox

We have configured ERMS rule modeler with a routing to an organisation unit if email content contains a specific word.
ERMS seems to work fine as workflow is triggered and work items created in the relevant user SAP inbox (any user assigned to the organisation unit used in ERMS routing.
When I log into the IC Web client and check for email items in the Agent Inbox, the emails are not visible!!!
Has anybody faced a similar issue?

    Hi Manoj,
Have you look at this configuration in SPRO
    ->Agent Inbox ->Setting for Asynchronous Inbound Processing -><b>Define Receving Emails/Fax settings</b> inthis Set Comm.method as <b>INT</b> i.e E-Mail.
Pls check this config and get back me..

  • Can we set "IN PROCESS" Status to more than one User

    Hi,
As per my client current scenario every work item will be sent to 3 useru2019s (One is the supervisor of the other two users). If any one of the user executes the work item it will automatically call a Ztransaction and displays the screen. When any one of the user executes the workitem, then the workitems will dissappears from rest of the users inboxes; Setting "IN PROCESS" status for the person who executed the workitem. The workitem will be in "IN PROCESS" Status untill the User Press "SAVE" button in the transaction.
If the person whose executed the workitem (IN PROCESS) status, has gone on unplanned leave; then the supervisor wants to forward the workitem of the current user to other user. How can he forward?
Is there any option to set "In Process" status to more than one User? [Supervisor and Person who executed the workitem]
Please provide me any advice to the above requirement.
    Thanks in advance,
    Ajay Kumar

Can you ask your workflow administrator to forward the workitem to the user you want to be sent it to.
I tried a small case wherein I had forwarded a workitem to myself and another user.
As I executed it , it went into status IN process and at the same time it got removed from other users inbox .
Now I went to T Code SWI1 and forwarded iut to another user say USABC.
As a result the workitem again went into status "Ready" and into the inbox of the user ABC.
So , you can try this in your case with the help of your workflow administrator.
Another way is to create the other user as a substitue of the user who is currently executing the workitem.

  • Trying to set up mutt/console mail

I am at the wiki and specifically here: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mutt#Sorting_Mail
I have getmail working with my Gmail, and just tried to set up procmail but it didn't seem to work. Where it indicates to create and edit the .procmail file, it doesn't specify where to put this file? I just put it in ~/.getmail/  as a best guess. I edited the file and ran getmail which continues to work but there is no sorting. Then in console I saw:
You have new mail in /var/mail/bobby
But I'm confused at this point as it's not sorting or I can't see how it is. I have ~/mail set up as per the wiki as well as /mail/cur, tmp and new. :?
    TIA for any help

Thanks guys, and smurnjiff I have followed your blog posts but still cannot get it working. Here's my relevant files/settings (only have one gmail account):

  • Balckberry Curve doesn't show outlook inbox subfolders

    Hi
Can anyone help me with a problem with a new backberry curve please?
I have several sub folders for my inbox set up via outlook on the server but my blackberry doesn't show these and all emails stay in the inbox on the blackberry, no matter what happens to them on the outlook and email sever side, until I delete them on the blackberry.
I have another blackberry and laptop for another company I work for where the blackberry sees the inbox folders and as emails are moved into inbox subfolders on outlook the changes are copied on the blackberry. So I know it can be done but I can't find out how?
    Does anyone know?

    Hi vbrux,
Are you currently activated on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server with your BlackBerry Curve? Subfolders are only available with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
    Thanks.

  • E75 Emails in inbox disappear

    Hi there
I am a new user and have recently purchased an E75.  I eventually managed to set up 2 email addresses and notifications come through fine.
However........The messages just disappear from the inbox - I've tried to mark them as "unread" but they still disappear...... I've had our IT guy at work look at the settings and he can't see any obvious problems.  The inbox setting is Hide email older than 2 weeks, and is locked so I cannot alter this if I wanted too.
Also if a message has an attachment I try to download it and the message disappears and I have no idea if I have downloaded the attachment as I cannot find out in the instruction booklet where these would be automatically stored (if of course they are)
The message also disappears if I go to "view HTML".
I have also noticed that since setting up my email account on my Nokia I am not receiving any emails via Outlook on my PC.
Please can anybody help as the whole idea of sending emails to my mobile was so that I could read them before I got home from work - and look at the info in them as and when it was convenient, not loose all the details before I had a chance to deal with things.
    Many thanks

Also check your email configuration...with any message list displayed:

Make sure that the very last setting is set however you want. This will affect how long an email is kept on the BB.
You also might try deleting and re-creating the BIS conduit for this email account...it sounds like something is just not right and sometimes this process helps clear it up.
    Hopefully something there will help.
