Including an stylesheet in a jspx

Greetings, i have made an include of a style sheet on my jpx, the thing is that in IExplorer 6 or higher does not show anything, i see a blank page while in Chromme and FireFox the page is showed correctly
if a move the include sentence inside de <f:view> tag or the <af:form> tag, the page is showed in every browser, including IExplorer, but the problem is that the displayed area is small, scrolled and in the left upper corner of the browsers, does any body know how can i fix this?, even if a set the line:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="${pageContext.servletContext.contextPath}/css/estilos.css"/>
to a .css archive that does not exist, the shrinking of the area happens.
...here is my jsx.....thanks for your help

  • Xmltype.transform() with stylesheet that includes another stylesheet

    I' trying to use xmltype.transform() with a stylesheet that includes/imports another stylesheet. But this results in a 'ORA-03113: End of communication channel'. Is xsl:include or xsl:import supported?
    This is the first stylesheet:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
         <xsl:import href="company2.xsl"/>
         <xsl:template match="/">
              <xsl:apply-templates select="company"/>
         </xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>
    And this the second stylesheet:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
         <xsl:template match="company">
              Company: <xsl:value-of select="."/>
         </xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>
    Both stylesheets are stored in the Oracle XDB Repository in folder '/public/test'.
    The following script results in an error:
    declare
    l_xsl xmltype;
    l_xml xmltype;
    l_xml2 xmltype;
    begin
    l_xsl := xdburitype('/public/test/company.xsl').getxml();
    l_xml := xmltype('<company>Oracle</company>');
    l_xml2 := l_xml.transform(l_xsl);
    end;
    I tried the following values for the href attribute of xsl:include:
    company2.xsl
    /public/test/company2.xsl
    http://<host>:<port>/public/test/company2/xsl
    I also tried to use xsl:import instead of xsl:include with the above attribute values for href. In all cases I get the ORA-03113.
    Thanks for any help, hints or tips.

    Did you look in the database alert log or in the database log area to see if any trace file was generated by your error? The listener.log may have more information too.
    Also, you can trace your session to see what is happening.
    alter session set sql_trace = true;
    run sql
    alter session set sql_trace = false;
    or
    alter session set events '10046 trace name context forever, level 12';
    or TURN on TRACING for any SESSION
    execute sys.dbms_system.set_sql_trace_in_session -
    (sid => &sid, serial# => &serial#, sql_trace => true);
    run sql
    execute sys.dbms_system.set_sql_trace_in_session -
    (sid => &sid, serial# => &serial#, sql_trace => false);

  • Include Applet Within JSPX

    Thanks,
    Tim

    Hi,
    I'm using two applets with jspx in my application, and all components works fine.
    I'm not using the &lt;verbatim&qt; tag for applets but only for javascript.
    Here is the code I'm using :
    &lt:applet width="0" height="0" MAYSCRIPT="MAYSCRIPT"
                        code="myapplet.class" codebase="."

  • Fatal exception when linking or including stylesheet

    I recently started getting a fatal exception error when
    working with dreamweaver and php and including a stylesheet.
    I have been working with php files and stylesheets for many
    weeks with no problem. It only seems to be affecting one file. (or
    any files that php includes it). I have even isolated the one line
    of code that produces the error, the code that links or includes
    the stylessheet. I tried various ways to link/include the
    stylesheet and still the error. The weird thing is I can open the
    stylessheet in question fine in dreamweaver and have been using it
    for quite some time with many changes.
    I have Dreamweaver MX 6.1 on Windows XP Pro (I installed the
    updater to try and fix it but it didn't help.)
    Any known issues or possible solutions? Thanks.

    If one of my

    are you linking the stylesheet, or including it???
    is the stylesheet correct syntax? does it validate at
    http://w3.org ?

      Please, try to implement next xslt mapping before message mapping.

  • How to include a CSS from another project

    Hi all,
    I'm developing an AbstractPortalComponent which uses some of my own defined stylesheets. I can include the stylesheet defined in my own project by this:
    com.sapportals.portal.prt.resource.IResource myStyle =
    request.getResource("css", "css/my_nav.css");
    response.include(request, myStyle);
    Now I need to include another CSS but from another project.
    I tried also to get the response and write the HTML code but it writes it into the <BODY></BODY> tag and the CSS is not used when rendering the document:
    ...</head>
    <body class="prtlBody urFontBaseFam urScrl">
    <LINK REL=stylesheet HREF="/irj/portalapps/myProject/css/zglobal.css" TYPE="text/css">
    Does anybody know the solution?
    Thanks in advance,
    Romano

    There are document hooks that you can use to insert things into the response of a page being written to the client.
    Therefore, if you create a service which implements the IDocumentHookListener, you will then need to implement the
    String doDocumentHook(int documentPosition, IPortalComponentRequest request, IPortalComponentResponse response)
    and
    void doDocumentHook(int documentPosition, IPortalComponentRequest request, IPortalComponentResponse response)
    The first method, that returns a String, you can basically check where in the document you would like to write code, something like
    switch (documentPosition) {
      case IDocumentHookListener.HEAD_SECTION_BEGIN :
        return "some string";
        break;
      case IDocumentHookListener.HEAD_SECTION_END :
        return "some other string";
        break;
    The second method, simply writes out the String returned from the first method to the response, i.e.
      response.write(doDocumentHook(documentPosition, request));
    I hope this helps

  • How to include external style sheet

    Hi !!
    Can any one explain how to include external style sheet.

    Anil,
    Simply include the css file as I demonstrated in my last post and then reference one the css classes by name in the "styleClass" attribute of the component. So, if the css file that have included in my JSP file (as demonstrated in the prev post) contains a class like:
    .spicyPink {
    color:#FF1CAE;
    font-weight:bold;
    Then I would simply reference this class in the component as folows:
    <af:outputText value="Pretty In Pink" styleClass="spicyPink"/>
    However, you can also add styling to a component inline and accomplish the same task:
    <af:outputText value="Pretty In Pink" inlineStyle="color:#FF1CAE;
    font-weight:bold;"/>
    The thing to remember is that other than the use of styleClass and inlineStyle, referencing and including css in your JSP/JSPX pages is really no different that used in an HTML page.
    Here is reference to help you along:

  • Embedding PDF files into jspx pages

    Hi,
    I'm trying to include a PDF into JSPX. I've got a servlet that produces the PDF. I use the following code:
    <f:verbatim>
    <iframe src="myservlet"
    width="100%"
    height="100%"
    scrolling="auto">
    </iframe>
    </f:verbatim>
    However, although I can see PDF content inside JSPX page, commandButtons doesn't work any longer. They seem to be dead.
    So, my question is: which is the "suitable" way to include PDF content into a JSPX page.
    Thanks in advance.
    Luis Serrano.

    Hi,
    actually this is the same experience I gathered when trying it this way. My assumption is that the PDF plugin causes the conflict. However, best integration I can imagineis to se a popup dialog and show the PDF file in there

  • Xsl:include msg - document following root element must be well-formed

    I am getting the following message when I try to execute a transaction that takes an XML file & transforms it.  The message is:
    "[ERROR]: XSLTransform error: javax.xml.transform.TransformerConfigurationException: javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The markup in the document following the root element must be well-formed."
    The transaction loads an xml input file, and then transforms it.  The transformation stylesheet does some formatting to the xml.  The stylesheet has an include in it that adds an element to the output.
    Input XML data
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <Rowset>
        <Row>
            <ItemNo>00000000001884304</ItemNo>

    </Item>
    If I point the <xsl:include to a web folder on a test box, it will read & translate the data into the expected output.  However, when I have both the initial stylesheet and the include stylesheet in the same Web folder in MII, I get the above message.  If the URL is any different, it generates an IO error.
    The initial stylesheet is

    FYI, both of the stylesheets above are in the same folder on the WEB tab in MII.  The full name (properties tab) is:
    foldername/WEB/Test/stylesheet.xsl
    Also, I am able to browse & view each of them in IE.  The url they are at is:
    http://server:port/XMII/CM/foldername/test/stylesheet.xsl
    Both stylesheets appear to be well-formed.
    If I use any other syntax other than the full URL, the error it generates is an IO Exception on the included stylesheet.  The markup message above makes me believe that it is at least attempting to handle the included stylesheet.
    In the Link editor of the xsl Transformation Incoming tab, there are two assignments being made.
    1.  Transform property
    object= xsl_transformation_0
    property=Transform
    expression="db://foldername/WEB/Test/stylesheet.xsl" (this is the initial, not included stylesheet)
    Link type=Assign Value
    2.  Input property
    object= xsl_transformation_0
    property=Input
    Expression=testitems_0.XmlContent
    Link type=Assign XML
    Running MII 12.0
    Thoughts?  Any input appreciated.

    In the first one you have two namespaces both with the same prefix.

    First you install a JDK6 version after which you can install your WebLogic and Forms, Reports...
    A step-by-step example is presented here: http://middlewaremagic.com/weblogic/?p=7265
    Look in the 'Install WebLogic' section. Note that you probably do not have to create a separate user,
    also you can use HotSpot instead of JRockit.

  • ADF BC - One Master and Two Detail pages How To?

    I have an existing ADF BC .jspx master-detail page that works fine. It shows one product as the master (read-only; no navigation controls) and assocatied customer feedback as the detail (multiple records; read-only.) Now I also want to compute some averages from the same table used to create the detail view object. I have created a second view object because this requires a separate query that calculates aggregate values. I want to take advantage of using view links so that this 2nd view object is automatically linked to the master record via the primary key.
    My question is how can I link this into the existing master-detail data control so that I can drag/drop it to include id on the existing .jspx page and the primary key linkages will be handled automatically?
    Tables
    Product
    Feedback
    View Objects
    ProductView
    FeedbackView
    FeedbackAVGView
    Current ViewLink
    ProductFeedbackViewLink = ProductView + FeedbackView
    Current DataControl
    ProductFeedbackViewLink-Instance
    Data Control is displayed on .jspx page; want to also include 3rd View Object, FeedbackAVGView, in the Master-Detail relationship and display on the .jspx page

    Thanks for the reply. The existing customer feedback view object displays the customer's text feedback (testimonials) - these will be displayed in a read-only table with multiple records.
    The new view object aggregates the ratings score from the customer feedback (same FEEDBACK database table) and will use a form to display the results (not multiple rows.) The PK is included in the aggregate view object query.
    Note there is already an existing viewlink between the PK (Master) and FK (Feedback) - in the data control, this viewlink is an instance of the Master View Object and the Customer Feedback View object. Now that I have created a third view object, should I create another View Link between the Master View Object and the Customer Feedback AVERAGES View Object? If I do this, how do I include it in the existing .jspx page? If I add this new View Link to the Application Module I will have two different Data Controls:
    Data Control #1: Master (Product) View Object + Customer Feedback View Object #1 (implemented as a master-detail read-only form/table on a .jspx page)
    Data Control #2: Master (Product) View Object + Customer Feedback AVG View Object #2
    I'm confused as to how to integrate the second customer feedback view object into the existing Data Control / Master-Detail read-only form/table on my .jspx page?
    thanks

  • CSS (some, not all) not showing up in browser, but fine in DW. Plus other desperate issues....

    I would really appreciate any and all help I can get to solve these problems as I'm new to CSS/HTML (completely new) and have been attempting to code my design just well enough to get it uploaded and working as a site. Once I can atleast achieve this feat, I plan on completely converting to CSS. But for now, I need to get the site working and I really didn't want to come and bother all of you on here with my problems and have been procrastinating posting on here for absolutely ages now....but since I can't figure all of the messy-uppy ness going on on my own, I beg forgiveness for any of your time wasted on my problems .
    Okay, so the "main" issue here is that I can see some(some, not all) CSS on DW, but I see NONE whatsoever when I go to preview in browser, same after uploading. I do have all of the files uploaded and placed in the correct directories, including the stylesheet, and images folder. But, nope, nada. Now, I did think this was a root/directory problem, maybe the url's weren't pointing to the right directories. I checked and attempted to fix this several times and any changes made no difference. Also, uploaded to the root of my site, where all files and folders are where they should be, yet no change. I am utterly clueless as to what is going on here....
    Second: Padding, or margins added through CSS for the divs is simply not working in DW or otherwise. I have padding placed on all of the content type areas with writing/content in them and despite the fact that the changes to the font/text formatting I've made show up, the padding does not. This is only in DW since no CSS whatsoever is showing out of DW anyways. I would like to know how to get the padding and the formatting, just all of the CSS in general to actually show up in browser/when uploaded.
    Third: The next issue is also confusing, and this only occured after I made the page into a template and uploaded the home.htm page I created from it to my site. For some reason, the image called "../images/aurora2_14_content_marg.gif". Is appearing at the very top of the page for no reason at all. I don't understand why it is there, or how it even got up there in the first place.
    Fourth: This was actually next on my list of things to figure out once I've gotten all of the above issues taken care of but since I'm still drawing a blank after 2+ weeks on how to get this done in a way that will work I guess it couldn't hurt to ask on here and get some expertise on the matter. The issue is that I have a repeating background (images/bg.png) that I want stretching downwards as I add content to the page. I have this placed as the main background for the entire site as you will be able to see in a moment through my code/site. Now, the place I want this to start is from where the aforementioned image (../images/aurora2_14_content_marg.gif) stops. However, I want the content to actually start from 20 pixels or so from the top of that very image. I want to try and achieve this through the use of margins but since the margins and padding are not showing up I hve been unable to experiment with it enough to figure out any other way to achieve this.  Any suggestions on how to achieve this would be much appreciated.
    Fifth (yes, unfortunately we're still going): As you may be able to see through the design I have two seperate areas for the main content and the navigation and other such items to be placed. To clarify, the content will be placed(through the use of expandable content boxes, once I figure out how to work that) beginning at the aforementioned image/td/div (../images/aurora2_14_content_marg.gif) with a bit of padding or margin from the top and sides (too pull the content towardsthe center of the site rather than all over from left to right like it is appearing now). The navigation etc will be placed where the long cyan area is under the search bar. For both of these, I cannot figure out how to split my one background image and also the content_marg.gif image into the two divs/or whatever else would work to split their contents from eachother. I think that seperating them into 2 divs with padding from the sides and eachother and seperate top paddings (I want the navigation to begin more near the top of the page than the content). The issue here is, I cannot figure out how to do this.
    Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, any tips on how to achieve the code for the solutions provided would also be very much appreciated, as I am only just starting out coding.
    The site/page:
    http://aurora.comeze.com/home.htm
    The stylesheet (style.css):
    http://aurora.comeze.com/style.css
    Like I mentioned above, all of this except the padding shows up in DW. Whereas, none of this shows up at all in browser view, or through the site.
