Including hidden items in File Export?

Gday,
It seems not that I have my export button working I am having issues with exporting hidden columns?
I have the PLSQL Expression set to
apex_application.g_excel_format = TRUE
but the columns still aren't showing up in the export? The odd thing its works fine with
apex_application.g_excel_format = FALSE
on my checkbox columns. Basically I want to hide the checkbox objects as they return no value and
display hidden values for the actual checkbox values.

APEX_APPLICATION.G_EXCEL_FORMAT = TRUE
It actually hides the column and includes it in the export. But when you have
APEX_APPLICATION.G_EXCEL_FORMAT = FALSE
It shows the item but hides it from the export.

How to Stop Finder WEBDAVFS from requesting .hidden, ._Directory , ._FileName files after Remotes File System Mount has happened?

Hi,
After I have mounted remote directory on Finder , Finder requests for all file types including .hidden, ._Directory , ._FileName files and all such files which is creating havoc to the performance of the Finder.
Case 1 : In one Directory I have 500 files+directories. When the Finder tries to fetch the directory content it is sending requests for even .hidden, ._Directory , ._FileName files and so the request count grows exponentially causing breakdown for Finder. Its taking 10 mins to load the directory. The same directory request when posted by Transmit by Panic it loads within 30 secs. Transmit do not send request for ._* files/directory.
I am rejecting request for all hidden file request but they keep on coming in thousands.
Case 2 : Finder tries to refresh the file listing whenever the Finder window is brought to Focus.
Any help is appreciated. When I try to use find for such files to delete I see no listing!

Include page items along with report in CSV export file

I have a classic report and several page items asa apart of a classic report region. They represent various calculations based on the report.
When I export the report it does not include page items in it. Is it possible to include page items as a paart of the report export?

I have a Macbook Pro running Leopard 10.5.8. I had a problem with my my operating system (my fault, I moved a file I shoudnt have) couldnt boot up but was able to boot up from a backup. I managed to repair my original system except now all the system folders, including hidden folders are littered with duplicate folders and files with the suffix (from old Mac). For the most part the dupes are an exact copy, but not always. I want to remove them to free up space and cant imagine duplicate folders in the /system/library are not hindering my computer. But I dont know where to start and am afraid of doing irreparable damage. Any ideas

What version of iPhoto and system are you running?
Try moving the Zoom slider at the bottom of the iPhoto window all the way to the left. Does that let more than one photo display in the window?

Muse follows its own structure and keeps HTML, CSS and JS code in separate files as and when possible. If you want all that code to be merged into the HTML file itself, then there is no option to force Muse to do that. You can however, add your own CSS code into the HTML page by adding the CSS using either the Insert HTML option or using the HTML for <head> option in Page Properties > Metadata.

I have no idea what it has ever been used for (Save As usually being the route to export to a different format), but it exists and is greyed out in PSE12 as well. I suspect a hangover from an old version.

I have created a custom form.The File->Export menu item is disable by default.how can i enable this menu item? I have tried
APP_SPECIAL.ENABLE('FILE.EXPORT',PROPERTY_ON) at block level (when-new-block-instance ) and form level trigger(when-new-form-instance) but not able to enable the same.

Applescript: missing required parameter "including hidden layers"

I've used this script (below) for packaging files in InDesign CS3, but when I upgraded to CS4 I always get this message: "Missing required parameter 'including hidden layers' for event 'package'." Does anyone know how to include this and where it goes?

I don't use InDesign/CS4, but it seems clear that the 'package' command now has additional parameters that you're not including in the command.
Since it's telling you that 'including hidden layers' is the parameter that's missing, just append it to the packagecommand, with either a 'yes' or a 'no' depending on what you want:

How to show hidden dot (".someFile") files under a specific directory

Hello!
I came across numerous ways to show hidden files and folders in Finder via a Google search, but I don't want to open the door to an accidental screwup with important files.
However, I do want to be able to view the hidden .htaccess files in Finder in order to learn to use Apache web server modules. Is it possible to tell Finder to show me the .htaccess files only in my /htdocs directory?

AFAIK the Finder is either on or off for displaying hidden files. However, there is a Contextual Menu item that may do what you want:

Hyperlinks to XLS, DOC, and PDF files that are included in a .chm file work intermittently.

SUMMARY
Hyperlinks to XLS, DOC, and PDF files that are included in a
.chm file (and the Baggage Files) only work intermittently. The
only solution appears to be deleting the Temporary Internet Files.
PROBLEM
1. I place the XLS, DOC, or PDF file in the Windows
sub-directory that corresponds to the RoboHelp project sub-folder
where the topic in which I’ll place the hyperlink exists.
2. I open the help project in RoboHelp HTML.
3. I right-click on the project’s Baggage Files
sub-folder that corresponds to the Windows sub-directory in which I
placed the XLS, DOC, or PDF file (in step 1).
4. I import the XLS, DOC, or PDF file.
5. I open the topic in which I’m going to place the
hyperlink in the WYSIWYG editor.
6. I “drag and drop” the Baggage File into the
topic (in the WYSIWYG editor) to create a link to it.
7. I save the changes and then generate HTML (.chm) help.
8. I open the .chm file and click the hyperlink. The XLS,
DOC, or PDF file may or may not open.
9. When the hyperlink works correctly, for DOC and XLS files,
a “File Download – Security Warning” dialog box
appears asking, “Do you want to open or save this
file?”. The buttons that are available are
“Open”, “Save”, and “Cancel”.
These buttons work then as one would expect. (When the hyperlink
works correctly for a PDF file, it simply opens the PDF file in a
new window; there’s no prompt to save, open, or cancel.)
10. When a hyperlink does NOT work, for DOC, XLS, and PDF
files, no dialog box or other visual message is displayed. Instead,
the sound that is associated with the “Exclamation”
program event is played (the “Windows XP
Exclamation.wav” file is the WinXP default).
Other Notes:
- The hyperlinks ALWAYS work when I view a topic using the
“View Selected Item” function (Ctrl+W) in the RoboHelp
HTML project.
- Once a hyperlink stops working, it will not start working
again until I delete all the Temporary Internet Files.
- A hyperlink will stop working even if Internet Explorer
(iexplore.exe) is closed the entire time.
WORKAROUND
Through trial and error, I have discovered that if a
hyperlink stops working, I can get it to work again using the
following steps:
1. Leave the .chm file open.
2. Open Internet Explorer.
3. Click Tools>Internet Options….
4. From the “Internet Options” dialog box, select
the “General” tab.
5. Under the “Temporary Internet Files” section,
click the “Delete Files…” button.
6. From the “Delete Files” dialog box, select
“Delete all offline content” and then click
“OK”. The files are deleted and the “Delete
Files” dialog box closes.
7. Click “OK” to close the “Internet
Options” dialog box.
8. Without closing Internet Explorer and without re-starting
the .chm file, all the hyperlinks that didn’t work before
will now work.

Download – Security Warning” dialog box, the file does

You wont be able to do that. The embedded objects would appear as images only.

File- Export not working after upgrade from 11i to R12

File -> Export not working after upgrade from 11i to R12.1.3 in few systems. Can you please let me know what could be the issue.
If export record count more than 200 it is working fine in all the systems and if change the profile option "Export MIME type” value to ‘text/tab-separated-values’ from application/excel also it is wokring.

How to check hidden items

Hi,
On a existing portal installation (10g Release 1) I've a lot of hidden items. I need to export these items to a new release of portal (10g Release 2).
The information of hidden object is not define inside table wwv_things. I check on several tables/views of the portal schema but I cannot find the table/view where this information is stored.
Is there a way to create portal items in 10g Release 2 with pl/sql packages and to hide these items ? I found a recommandation to set the publish date in the future but in our case, this do not correspond to the expected behaviour.

The VISIBLE column in WWSBR_ALL_ITEMS will tell you that:

But you're right that there's no API method for hiding items in 10.1.2.
In 10.1.4 the hide_in_browse parameter of wwsbr_api.modify_item can be used to hide the item:

Include rt.jar class files in my own jar file to run 1.2+ applets on MS JVM

My problem is this. I'm writing an applet (which includes 1.2 classes) for my organization (over 2000 NT workstations) in which no one has administrative privelages to install Sun's JRE 1.2 or greater. The target browser is IE 5. Our NT admins are having problems pushing the JRE out so my only two options are to rewrite everything as 1.1 or somehow include the missing class files from rt.jar.
I really do not want to rewrite it all!
I was able to extract the missing class files (i.e. /java/util/HashMap.class) but I cannot figure out how to get the IE JVM to use them. Things I have tried:
1. jarred up all my class files along with the missing classes from rt.jar.

RESULT: IE JVM complains classnotfoundexception (its complaining about not finding HashMap.class)
2. Tried to just place missing *.class files in same directory as my class files
RESULT: Compiler error (complaining about file not be in correct path package) I understand this because when it was created the package statement has the class file in java/util/.
If anyone has done this before or knows how to do it, please help me out.

When the collection classes first came out, I think they were available in a separate jar (although the package name may be slightly different). If it's just collection classes, that might be worthwhile looking at.
The MS JVM may be spewing because the class format is too new; you may try with rt.jar classes from an older JVM (such as JDK 1.2), or try to recompile them from source using -target 1.1.

Hyperlinks in PDF files exported from Numbers 3.1

The new Numbers is slooowly starting to rock. The new ability to sort and rearrange ranged area is awesome.
I work with PR and we make reports to our clients. These reports are delivered in PDF files.
I have a serious problem with Numbers 3.1 and the hyperlinks included in my report - an exported PDF file. The hyperlinks seems to be randomly mixed up. If I press a certain link for a URL, the PDF might redirect me to the correct page or .. might redirect me another page from the report.
When I work in Numbers 3.1 sheet everything works just fine, all the hyperlinks are opened correctly. The problem only occours when it's exported as PDF.
My current procedure is to work in Numbers 3.1 and once a report is ready to be handed over to the client, I export it in Numbers 2.3 format and then export it as PDF - where all the hyperlinks work correctly.
But it would be sooo much more professionel and cool if everything just worked perfectly with Numbers 3.1.
- Has anyone experienced this as well?
- Does any one know if it's a bug - or if it me who's doing something silly?

Hi Jakob,
BlackPlum suggets: "Thankfully, I noticed that in the Export... dialog box, (from the File Menu), you can select "Current Sheet" in the Layout field (this field defaults to "All Sheets", it's easy to miss). So select Current Sheet, and voila, you now have a pdf with multiple pages (and clickable hyperlinks!)."
Though my Export To ... PDF does not have such an option.
Hope a solution will come soon.
Numbers 3.1 with a very long table (will not fit on one page when printing) and two sheets.
B2 contains an active hyperlink.
B32 contains an active hyperlink.
Menu > File > Print >
And on the right,
Now click on Print...
Now click on PDF (bottom left)
Save as PDF
Here is the PDF opened in Preview (zoomed out to make a smaller screen shot)
Two pages .
Both of those hyperlinks are active.
Clicking on this one:
takes me to
apple.com/sitemap.
