Inconsistent Links w/ GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC

Hello,
I have a region that includes a link to a BLOB using GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC. I have placed this region on Page 0 so that it repeats in the sidebar of every page. On some pages the link works as expected and downloads the BLOB. However, on one particular page, the link produces a "PAGE NOT FOUND" error. The syntax for the SQL to retrieve the BLOB is:
CASE WHEN
NVL(dbms_lob.getlength(V_CONTENTS),0) = 0
THEN
NULL
ELSE
'<*a href="'||apex_util.get_blob_file_src('P35_V_CONTENTS', "CC_MEMBERS"."ID")||'" title="Download vCard"><img src="'||:WORKSPACE_IMAGES||'vcard.jpg" /></a>'
END as VCARD
* ignore the asterik, I had to add it to the post so Forums wouldn't literally interpret the "<a" tag.
The page(s) that works produce the URL:
http://localhost:8080/apex/apex_util.get_blob_file?a=101&s=8396757249800286&p=35&d=9761778854785863315&i=9761771846677734677&p_pk1=442&p_pk2=&p_ck=8170B24863751BFB4ACE607D74A58889
While the errant page produces:
http://localhost:8080/apex/apex_util.get_blob_file?a=101&s=4253543627310563&p=35&d=11872333539480757720&i=9761771846677734677&p_pk1=442&p_pk2=&p_ck=E9838B87034D4D9F19B7F85997953342
Any suggestions as to what might be the problem?

Those were from different sessions, but the results are the same. Here is an example from the same session:
Failed Link -
https://localhost:8080/apex/apex_util.get_blob_file?a=19038&s=927230068543966&p=35&d=14744341426526826663&i=12633779733723803620&p_pk1=401&p_pk2=&p_ck=F0F812A0BEFBB5832F39BB942AA0BCEA
Working Link -
https://localhost:8080/apex/apex_util.get_blob_file?a=19038&s=927230068543966&p=35&d=12633786741831932258&i=12633779733723803620&p_pk1=401&p_pk2=&p_ck=8415F41A1E002BE095CD2817842B8A30
The d= parameter seems to be the one that differs between the working/non-working pages. Do you know what that represents and where it gets assigned? I do have several links on each page that point to different BLOB records in the same table and the behavior is consistent in that either all links work or fail on a given page.
I've also done some further testing and it looks like this error is happening mostly on pages where I have links to BLOBs coming from two different ables on the same page.

  • DAG on WAN with Inconsistent Link

We want to implement Exchange 2013 DAG in two different sites Site A and Site B, both sites are geographically different and running on MPLs and Satellite link. But MPLs link on Site-B is very inconsistent and it goes down every day for 3-4 hours. The response
time is 45ms  TTL=120 only. So whenever link goes down we switch link to Satellite link which is worst than MPLs. Response time on Satellite link is 800ms.
We had created test lab and configure DAG between two sites, but whenever MPLs link goes down or switch to Satellite link, we had to reseed database copy to remote sites, and total database size is 4TB. Our ultimate target is to run Exchange 2013 high availability
between each local site and site resilience between two different sites.

or read this from exchange team ..you don't even need two name spaces and quorum on 3rd site will also avoid the issue of DAG going down
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/scottschnoll/archive/2012/11/01/storage-high-availability-and-site-resilience-in-exchange-server-2013-part-3.aspx
Since you can failover the namespace between datacenters now, all that is needed to achieve a datacenter failover is a mechanism for failover of the Mailbox role across datacenters. To get automatic failover for the DAG, you simply architect a solution where
the DAG is evenly split between two datacenters, and then place the witness server in a
third location so that it can be arbitrated by DAG members in either datacenter, regardless of the state of the network between the datacenters that contain the DAG members. The key is that third location is isolated
from network failures that affect the first and/or second location (the locations containing the DAG members).

  • Any ideas on getting facebook 'like' links working in SMS and MMS?  A few issues Apple might fix please?

    Hi,
I work in a Mobile Marketing company where clients use our bulk SMS / MMS messaging service in Australia.  A few things I've noticed where iPhones are falling short in comparison to the competition in RECEIVING messages (and I hope are fixed because I'm an apple fan) - a few inconsistencies:
    * Facebook links eg  "Like us at http://m.facebook.com/example"... Last night the link worked on my iphone when I sent it from our platform to my handset.  (4s Firmware 3.4.03, Version 6.1.3, Telstra)  It took me to the page on safari, and even earlier this morning it did - yet now it won't (and I haven't made any changes).  I have tried restarting, (soft and firm reboot) as well as ensuring I'm logged in - or out on another page.   The link does work on computer as well as on my collegues (4s 6.1.3, Firmware 3.4.03  Vodafone au 14.1) and it IS working there - but not sure for how long (considering it was working on mine earlier too)   FYI It also works on 9 differnt android versions of handsets in the office here too.
    * occasionally this happens with shortened links too (like a shortened google map link).  There seems to be no pattern to the issue.
    * When clients send MMS through our platform, the delivery on the iPhones is inconsistent.  eg, the client can send WMV / GIF / JPG with a Title, Header and Footer message.  The artrwork should fall in the middle of the header and footer.  However another inconsitency - sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't.  I can't see any pattern of it as the layout changes intermittently (from minute to minute).    This particular issue is limited to  iPhones on software 6 versions.
    * In a message, when the LAST WORD in SMS / MMS  is a 'link; - like web address or phone number to call, OCCASIONALLY it does not come up as a link (therefore recipient is unlikely to type it out to get to it).  Again, no pattern, just 'sometimes' does this happen.  Have tried putting a space after it, that doesn't work.  Only if another word is put after it will it always work.
    * Got feedback yesterday that NO LINKS in message (landlines, mobiles, web address) were working on iphone 5.  Not sure if this is a constant or another inconsistent link?
Anyway, I'd really like our clients to be able to use a "like us on facebook" link in their messaging with success... could Apple please look into solving these inconsistencies?
    Hoping you can help.

You are not addressing Apple here. We are users like yourself.
The only thing I could think of in regards to this issue since it has worked on some occassions and not others is what if you deleted cookies and history from Safari. Does that make it work again? While SMS/MMS are a carrier function, I also know that some texts from different phones to the iPhone can produce strange results if the other device is using some type of font that is not supported by the iPhone. If you search the forum, you might find something related to that if you search for "strange characters in SMS" or something similar.
When you produce these bulk SMS, do you write just the link, or do you write the HTML code in the SMS?

The PL/SQL Function source value for the item is:
    RETURN 'Download' ;
...and the format mask for the item is:
    DOWNLOAD:DEMO_PRODUCT_INFO:PRODUCT_IMAGE:PRODUCT_ID
I don't think this was meant to be used this way. I think you need a DML process to refer to 9see the &d= parameter value is null in your link).
What documentation were you using that led you to try this?

  • How to display download link with get_blob or get_blob_file_src ?

    Hello there,
I am struggling to display a download link in a SQL query report.
Based on the requirement, I have to create a sql query report that the source contains a series of union select query.
    Example here
    WITH current_engagement AS (
    SELECT defendant_id, engagement_id, pn, ethnicity, date_joined_aodt_court, case_manager_name
    , participation_conditions, discharge_conditions
    FROM engagement
    WHERE defendant_id = :PXX_DEF
    AND date_joined IS NOT NULL
    AND ( date_terminated IS NULL OR to_date(date_joined,'DD/MM/YYYY') > to_date(sysdate,'DD/MM/YYYY'))
    AND active = 1 AND ROWNUM = 1
    ORDER BY defendant_id DESC
    SELECT def.first_name, def.middle_name, def.surname, to_char(def.pn) AS "PN", to_char(def.nhi_number) AS "NHI"
    ,ce.ethnicity, to_char(ce.date_joined) as "DATE_JOINED ", ce.case_manager_name, ce.participation_conditions, ce.discharge_conditions
FROM defendant def INNER JOIN current_engagement ce
    ON def.def_id = ce.defendant_id
    UNION ALL
    select ' <b>2. Phase Number</b>' , '<b>Date Started</b>' , '<b>Date Finised</b>' , '<b>Notes</b>' , null
    ,null , null , null , null , null
    from dual
    UNION ALL
    SELECT TO_CHAR(NVL(ph.phase_number,'No Phase Found')), TO_CHAR(ph.date_started, 'DD/MM/YYYY'), TO_CHAR(ph.date_finished, 'DD/MM/YYYY'), ph.notes, null
    , null , null , null , null , null
FROM phase_membership ph INNER JOIN current_engagement ce
    ON ph.mpm_eng_id = ce.engagement_id
    WHERE to_date(ph.date_started,'DD/MM/YYYY') <= TO_DATE(sysdate,'DD/MM/YYYY')
    AND ( ph.date_finished IS NULL
    OR TO_DATE(ph.date_finished, 'DD/MM/YYYY') >= TO_DATE(sysdate,'DD/MM/YYYY') )
    AND ph.active = 1
    UNION ALL
    --more selects
-- then the last select is to list all related documents with download links
    select '<b>6. Document Date</b>' , '<b>Document Type</b>' , '<b>Description</b>' , '<b>Download</b>'
    , null ,null , null , null , null , null
    from dual
    UNION ALL
    SELECT TO_CHAR(doc.date_received), doc.document_type, doc.comments, TO_CHAR(dbms_lob.getlength(doc.UPLOADED_FILE))
    , null ,null , null , null , null , null
FROM document doc INNER JOIN current_engagement ce
    ON doc.d_eng_id = ce.engagement_id
    WHERE doc.active = 1
    This report is generated fine.
But the requirement also ask to display a download link. And because it is union selects, all following selects must be the same as the first select column data types.
In this case, it has to be CHAR. Otherwise, it will generate error as below
ORA-01790: expression must have same datatype as corresponding expression
So I follow the GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC Function step from
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14373_01/apirefs.32/e13369/apex_util.htm#AEAPI129
I turn my last select into
    SELECT TO_CHAR(doc.date_received), doc.document_type, doc.comments,
    CASE WHEN NVL(dbms_lob.getlength(doc.UPLOADED_FILE),0) = 0
    THEN NULL
    ELSE
    'Download'
    END
    , null ,null , null , null , null , null
FROM document doc INNER JOIN current_engagement ce
    ON doc.d_eng_id = ce.engagement_id
    WHERE doc.active = 1
Which the result inside the hreg is
    http://app_address_here/f?p=208:48:1303335952329758:::::
while if I use Interactive report the link is
    http://app_address_here/apex_util.get_blob?s=1303335952329758&a=208&c=66645817090447568&p=48&k1=12&k2=&ck=A18D20D407435BD649EA3399EC27BC00&rt=CR
    and it works well.
I do a research and know that get_blob_file_source link to the source of the column / field name located in the first parameter.
So I had put the UPLOADED_FILE column, DOCUMENT table in the source of the column PN.
But it still does not show anything that close to the correct one that is generated by interactive report.
If anyone has any ideas, please help. If I need to manually write using get_blob , please give me an example.
I urgently need to do this report.
The version of APEX we use is Application Express 4.0.2.00.07
And I cannot ask for an upgrade to 4.2 till the end of next year.
    Please help.
    Thanks a lot in advance.

  • Database links in APEX - Inconsistent

I have just set up a database link to our main Oracle DB from an APEX DB using the object browser in APEX
The link works fine for retrieving data in some circumstances, a report is displayed with no problems and dynamic lookup lists work fine.
However when I create a form and include an "Automated Row Fetch" there is a "PLSQL invalid error". My guess is there is some problem with privileges, I have little experience with this so was hoping for some help
    Regards
    - Sol

    Sol,
I believe you can create a local view on the remote table and build the form on that view. See this and similar posts for hints: Use a database link in an Automated Row Fetch process? .

  • Zooming inconsistency with links in pdf

I have an interactive pdf set up containing different chapters & vast amounts of links. I have set the pdf up to 100% zoom. When I open it all is fine, but as soon as I begin to click through the document the page zooming becomes erratic. I have tried all kinds of things & read other responses on forums & nothing seems to make a difference. Highly frustrating! Help needed urgently. Thanks.

    Hiya,
Thanks for your reply. I did exactly that when I intially started linking the pages. Luckily I tested a chapter to make sure the links worked & soon realised the zoom setting was at random. I then re linked that chapter again & made sure it was set at 100% throughout & continued linking in that way. When I open the document it's fine, but as soon as a link is clicked on the problems begin. I really hope they find a solution to fix this soon, I'm literally pulling my hair out. If I get anywhere with it I'll let you know.

  • Inconsistent Adobe Dynamic Link clip corruption in Premiere Pro (All CS5)

So I'm working towards having seventeen AE compositions in a video I'm cutting with Premiere. I was chugging along just fine until most, but not all, of my clips started showing this strange diagonal line business.
When I drag the timeline over the clear areas the AR comositions look fine but things cut out over the diagonal lines and when I do a render I get what looks like the AE composition minus the odd layer.
I've not deleted or moved any of the component files for the compositions, so I'm not sure what's going on here.
After some looking around the forum, I've seen it suggested that drawing from Multiple AE Projects is a bad idea - that you should have all your compositions in one AE Project to then draw from in Premiere - but have not seen any confirmation of this.
I would greatly appreciate if anyone could help me out here as this is a project I've been working on for almost a year and I'd really like to wrap it up!

Just to be clear: you still can store dynamically linked compositions in different AE projects (which might be useful when your AE projects are quite complex or you need to distribute your work across team members), just avoid incremental numbers at the end of the names.
Dynamic Link is not the best option under all circumstances, and as Craig said sometimes rendering digital intermediate is more efficient. Check this good old discussion on Dynamic Link workflow, pay attention to Todd's comments.

  • Inconsistant recognition of visited links

I often create file based websites for my own use. These are simple html files and supporting documents. They are never served via a web server, but simply used by opening the file on the same computer that the browser is running on.
I have noticed on my last project that when I click on a link that is a local .pdf file, the link does not appear as visited. However, if I click on a link that is a .gif file, the link will appear as visited. I'm doing this on a Mac and the browser is configured to use Preview for pdf viewing, however the browser renders the .gif files itself. I'm wondering if this is the reason, but would like to resolve this if possible.
Preferences are configured to "Remember my browsing and download history", but also to "Clear history when Firefox closes" so I would think that visited links would register until Firefox is restarted.

    Thanks for your responses.
Regarding the first, the creation of a new profile does resolve the problem.
I don't seem to have the menu options that you delineate. That is, there is no "Preferences" options under the "Edit" menu, and no "Options" under the "Tools" menu, so I can't speak to those.
When I use about:config, I do find the "browser.visited_color is the color #551A8B" but I'm fairly certain that this is being over-ridden by my internal style sheet. When the links are recognized as visited, they are the color I have chosen them to be.
Also under about:config, I have no "browser.history_expire_days" listed, but rather have "browser.history_expire_days.mirror" and it is "user set, integer, 180"
Finally, using the built-in PDF Viewer instead of Preview does cause the links to be recognized as visited.

  • Inconsistant Wi-Fi connection between Link & Z10

I cannot get BlackBerry Link to consistently connect to my Z10. After looking for ways to get it to connect last night I uninstalled/reinstalled Link but without making a connection, left the Z10 on charge overnight and this morning it's connected. However, after going to work and leaving the home Wi-Fi, now I'm back it's not connecting again. I have verified that the Z10 is on the network and plugged into a power source and I know that there are items to sync.
This is my 2nd Z10, the first one I had aways appeared in Link as being connected on the Wi-Fi, I don't recall changing any settings in the Z10 or Link to make this happen?
Have I missed something in Link to get it to scan the network for connected devices, any other suggestions?

    Hey highstrike,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
    Thanks for the question.
Are you able to transfer files through USB?  Also have you tried doing the Wi-Fi synchronization on a different computer?
We ultimately might need to gather logs from BlackBerry Link to find the exact error problem. I would suggest contacting your network service provider and ask to be transffered to BlackBerry so we can gather logs.
I look forward to your reply.
    Cheers.

  • New MBP -- Wireless Connectivity Inconsistent (Despite MBP's Claims)

Have a new MBP, running 10.5.6 straight out of the box. All essential system updates have been downloaded and installed (one FCE update remains undownloaded). The Airport connection is tenuous -- it will stay connected to the internet for hours at a time, and then go out repeatedly. Every time it goes out, diagnostics claim it is connected, as does the Network dialogue in System Preferences, even when it is impossible to load any web page (or complete system update downloads!).
    A few things:
    1. At no point does the MBP indicate that it has lost a connection to the wireless network.
    2. While internet connection is lost on MBP, I am still able to connect wirelessly with my Powerbook, implying that internet connection/router/ISP is not to blame.
    3. I tried entering IP information manually, but to no avail. On a lark, I switched the IP address of the MBP with the PB, but PB continued to be able to connect to internet while MBP struggled.
    4. While internet connection via my secure wireless network is lost on MBP, I am able to connect MBP to a nearby unsecured wireless network (presumably a neighbor's). I have purposely not maintained connection to this wireless network for long stretches (though I'm using it now to compose this query), so I don't know that the connectivity issues are absent when connected to it, but I have not experienced any inconsistency when connected to it, even in phases when I am experiencing inconsistency with my secure network.
    5. My network is secured by way of a WEP 128-bit hexadecimal password. However, the settings under Network in System Preferences insist on calling it a WEP password, no matter how many times I change it to WEP 128 hex.
    6. On a couple of occasions, when experiencing proper connectivity on my secure network, I have tried locking the Network settings in System Preferences. Paradoxically, doing this seems to immediately disconnect me from the internet.
That's all I can think of for now. This problem seems not unrelated to some other problems described in messageboards across the web, but I didn't see anyone outline the problem in the exact way that I've experienced it (nor have I seen a sure-fire solution posted to the problems I have read about).

Folks: *there may be a power/signal issue going on here.* I had a similar problem of my network connection dragging to practically nothing when hooking up my LaCie external drive to the USB port. Please see my post below (link and text)
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=9914924#9914924
    Folks:
Apple needs to get on this issue fast; after turning off my N mode on my WRT160N Linksys Router, I got my packet speed back up to where it should be... HOWEVER I noticed another problem.
When I hooked up my LaCie external drive (connected via USB), my packets on PING practically stall to nothing. I then eject the external USB drive and re-ping and I get acceptable packet speeds; I re-connect the LaCie external drive to the USB port and my PING crawls to nothing.
There is CLEARLY a correlation between the network speed crawling to nothing while hooking up an external drive; possibly a power sink and/or signal interference on the Airport when hooking up a USB device? (or perhaps even Firewire 800 too?)
I sure hope Apple is reading this one, because this could be a MAJOR issue that needs to be fixed ASAP.

  • The website Kotaku brings me to a blank white page when i try do a search or click a link to an older post, it says done in the loading bar. Also had an error where I couldn't log in properly while trying to post this question on these forums.

Yesterday I clicked the "link Facebook account" on the website www.kotaku.com.au. Prior to that I can't remember having this issue. Not sure if its related.
My first idea was to use safe mode, which worked. so i disabled my addons in non-safe mode but it still didn't work.
The only thing that solved the problem was clearing my cookies, so for now I have the cookies of kotaku blocked. Obviously not an ideal situation.
I found these error message in console:
Error: Permission denied for <http://network.alluremedia.com.au> to call method Location.toString on <http://www.kotaku.com.au>.
    Error: pageTracker is not defined

I was originally going to post this as a website error, however when trying to ask this question using Firefox I was presented with my log in name and a log out button, rather than the Ask a New Question page. Once again, it worked fine when I disabled cookies.
So now I'm thinking it may not be a single site problem.
Can't find many useful topics on the internet, needing some help.

Thanks for the flag J.K. - they contaced me and solved my problem.  On this account (which I created just to ask this question), I log in with my email rather than my user name (mtalldud). On the account that I was having trouble with, they told me to use my user ID instead of my email to log in and it worked. This is a bit confusing and seems a bit inconsistent but at least I don't need this temporary account any more to get into this community and find answers!

  • Premiere CS5.5 (5.5.2) crashing on linking Quicktime media

I have been trying to reproduce consistently for the past 3 days (with no luck).  Premiere 5.5.2 on Macbook Pro (2010) Lion 10.7.2.  Premiere launches a project with nothing in the timeline, only files in the the project window.  The application either successfully launches and the media links (several formats QT ProRes, H/264, R3D, etc...) or crashes while trying to link media.  I have tried differnt types of media and removing others.  Never seems to be a problem with MPEG-4, R3D, etc... but the Quicktime movies (ProRes, but not only) seems problematic.  This is completely inconsistent.  I am not changing anything, just simply binging up the same project over and over.  The application will crash or successfully launch randomly.  May get 4 or 5 successful launches and then next one is a crash.  May crash 2-3 times in a row.  Then successfuly launch again for the next serveral tries.  I can tell when the application launches whether it will crash or not.  I can hear my drive when the app tries to link media and everytime it succesfuly launches.  When I don't hear my media drive after lauch, I know it will crash - and does every time.  If I remove  all Quicktime media references/links and only leave MPEG-4 and/or R3D I cannot get it to crash. However, no consistency in the crashes with the Quicktime media.  Any thoughts?

noticing now that the crash reports are all different... see below vs. previous post... any thoughts on this?

  • Showing image instead of download link

I am using an interactive report and entered this for the source. I want to show the picture instead of a download link however I don't get the picture I get a
    Source:
    select "IMAGE_ID",
    "SUBJECT",
    "CREATED_DATE",
    "CREATED_BY",
    decode(nvl(dbms_lob.getlength(image),0), 0, null, '<img src=
    "'||apex_util.get_blob_file_src('P53_IMAGE', image_id)||
    '" height="75" width="75" />') Image
    from "#OWNER#"."IMAGES"
    Shown in the report:
    <img src= "apex_util.get_blob_file?a=100&s=3229276571420106&p=53&d=1943731550155986&i=1941402717155956&p_pk1=1&p_pk2=&p_ck=58C90FE7F1EC9618676F23C2FC24FA0A" height="75" width="75" />
Any idea as to what I may be doing wrong?

    Hi ,
It looks like your report column is set to display as Text. Go to "Home>Application Builder>Application #>Page #>Interactive Report Attributes" and change it to Standard report Column and you should be all set.
    Thanks,
    Manish

  • Display image in report page but just a link if file is not an image

    Hello,
I've been working on displaying an image in a report page but need to add some logic.
I would like to be able to call the image using a Region Source of type SQL instead of the HTML Expression. The reason for this is because I need to use logic to determine if the file is an image or not and to determine wether to show a thumbnail or just a link. I did find a "GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC" Function on the internet that suggests that I could do this but I need some help in making it work in my application.
Here it is as a Region Source of type SQL:
    SELECT ID,
    NAME,
    CASE WHEN NVL(dbms_lob.getlength(document),0) = 0
    THEN NULL
ELSE CASE WHEN attach_mimetype like 'image%'
    THEN '<img
    src="'||apex_util.get_blob_file_src('P4_DOCUMENT',id)||'" />'
    ELSE '<a
    href="'||apex_util.get_blob_file_src('P4_DOCUMENT',id)||'">Download</a>'
    end
    END new_img
    FROM TEST_WITH_BLOB
If anyone can help me with this that would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    LEH

    John,
The problem is that I do not know how to use the "GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC Function". I never got it to work but the HTML Expression did work for me. If you know how the GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC Function works then that would be helpful. I don't think it would be helpful if I posted my example on apex.oracle.com. But here is the information I have on the GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC Function.
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC Function
As an alternative to using the built-in methods of providing a download link, you can use the APEX_UTIL.GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC function. One advantage of this approach, is the ability to more specifically format the display of the image (with height and width tags). Please note that this approach is only valid if called from a valid Oracle Application Express session. Also, this method requires that the parameters that describe the BLOB to be listed as the format of a valid item within the application. That item is then referenced by the function.
    See Also:
"About BLOB Support in Forms and Reports" in Oracle Application Express Application Builder User's Guide
    Syntax
    FUNCTION GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC (
        p_item_name           IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL,
        p_v1                  IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL,
        p_v2                  IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL,
        p_content_disposition IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL)
        RETURN VARCHAR2
    Parameters
Table 1-28 describes the parameters available in GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC function.
    Table 1-28 GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC Parameters
    Parameter Description
    p_item_name
Name of valid application page ITEM that with type FILE that contains the source type of DB column.
    p_v1
Value of primary key column 1.
    p_v2
Value of primary key column 2.
    p_content_disposition
Specify inline or attachment, all other values ignored
    Example
    As a PLSQL Function Body:
    RETURN '<img src="'||APEX_UTIL.GET_BLOB_FILE_SRC('P2_ATTACHMENT',:P2_EMPNO)||'" />';
As a Region Source of type SQL:
    SELECT ID,
           NAME,
           CASE WHEN NVL(dbms_lob.getlength(document),0) = 0
                THEN NULL
ELSE CASE WHEN attach_mimetype like 'image%'
                          THEN '<img
    src="'||apex_util.get_blob_file_src('P4_DOCUMENT',id)||'" />'
                          ELSE '<a
    href="'||apex_util.get_blob_file_src('P4_DOCUMENT',id)||'">Download</a>'
                          end
            END new_img
       FROM TEST_WITH_BLOB
The previous example illustrates how to display the BLOB within the report, if it can be displayed, and provide a download link, if it cannot be displayed. Thanks
