The website Kotaku brings me to a blank white page when i try do a search or click a link to an older post, it says done in the loading bar. Also had an error where I couldn't log in properly while trying to post this question on these forums.

Yesterday I clicked the "link Facebook account" on the website www.kotaku.com.au. Prior to that I can't remember having this issue. Not sure if its related.
My first idea was to use safe mode, which worked. so i disabled my addons in non-safe mode but it still didn't work.
The only thing that solved the problem was clearing my cookies, so for now I have the cookies of kotaku blocked. Obviously not an ideal situation.
I found these error message in console:

I was originally going to post this as a website error, however when trying to ask this question using Firefox I was presented with my log in name and a log out button, rather than the Ask a New Question page. Once again, it worked fine when I disabled cookies.
So now I'm thinking it may not be a single site problem.
Can't find many useful topics on the internet, needing some help.

Thanks for the flag J.K. - they contaced me and solved my problem. On this account (which I created just to ask this question), I log in with my email rather than my user name (mtalldud). On the account that I was having trouble with, they told me to use my user ID instead of my email to log in and it worked. This is a bit confusing and seems a bit inconsistent but at least I don't need this temporary account any more to get into this community and find answers!

Turns out to be an iPhone 4 problem. I went to a store and they replaced it. No problems now. My wife's iPhone 4 also had to be replaced which is disturbing. We had the original iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS without issue. This iPhone is not that good. It was emphasized to me the other day when I used a Razor in my house and found the voice quality infinitely superior and worked in places where my iPhone 4 failed completely (all on AT&T).
People on the other end of calls with the Razor commented that my voice sounded much better and asked what had I done (they were used to the calls made with the iPhone).
I am afraid I think that the iPhone 4 is not all it is cracked up to be. For phone use the Razor beats it hands down. Now, when it comes to email etc. the iPhone is infinitely superior but as a phone it is certainly not as good as it could be.
I am afraid that Apple may have lost the magic recipe and, if I had not gone past the return date, the iPhone 4 would be going back.

There may be an issue related to cookies set by the site in your browser;
or perhaps they want to set more cookies than your settings allow. So
you could see if the site opens in another browser (copy link) or if you do
find the cookies specific to that site, in Safari, delete them & try again.
A way to reset Safari it fairly easy, but it wipes all saved cookies when you
use the Reset Safari from its drop-down menu. Some users had found a
variety of similar issue, and at times in more than one browser.
Not sure what that's about. I have five different browsers, and can choose
to set some of them so the site 'sees them' as another brand, for the sake
of compatibility. Some web sites are poorly constructed, too.
Here's another take on this situation, and a detailed method to try & make
it work; should resetting cookies, etc not help...

In iTunes prefs>Store - is the Store check box unchecked?

How to remove unnecessary blank(white) page when using FileDownload UI

My env is like the following.

i tried the file upload/download sample.
Uploading and Downloading Files in SAP NetWeaver 7.0

Of course, it works well in normal situation but FileDownload shows
unnecessary behavior like the following.
- How to produce : Download file with allowSave behavior option
- Phenomena : File Download pop-up window is displayed but the
    unnecessary blank(white) page also displayed and this page
    persists even when the download is finished.
And is there any way to remove this unnecessary page behind the
pop-up window?

    It is not possible to close the blank window that appears while downloading programmatically from within your Web Dynpro application. The user must manually close it.

I only see a blank white screen when I try to open the itunes store.

I have an iMac running OS X 10.8.4 and cannot view the itunes store. My library shows but the store is a blank white screen. On my macbook at home with the same system it works fine.

I am having the same problem so I followed your advice and signed out, restarted, and signed back in. It let me look at my account in the itunes store but when I try to leave my account and go to the actual itunes store, it is still just a blank white screen. There are home, music, movies, etc. tabs. Movies and tv shows both have a black screen but the rest are white. Do you have any other suggestions?

Why do I get a blank white screen when I try to print from a pdf?

I have the latest adobe reader X and use it with Windows 7. After downloading pdf files, they open to read but will not print. I go to File, then Print, and a big white blank screen comes up with nothing on it but a tab at the top saying "Print". There is no advanced options available where I can choose " Print as Image." The strange thing is that once this started happening, I went back to older downloads from emails that I had printed out a few weeks ago and they would not print either. Any advice?

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.

"My Yahoo" page loads up as a blank white page, with no error messages or anything. Any ideas why?

I started a thread on this topic many months ago, and have yet to see any reply for support for this topic. The issue I have had now for over 6 months is that Firefox will not load my "My Yahoo" page at all. I get no error messages or anything, just a blank, white screen when I try to load it. I can load this same page in IE as well as Chrome, but I much prefer to use Firefox if I can. I did follow all of the instructions and ideas that are out on the forum for handling similar problems such as this, but with no success. Clear Cache, History, etc, as well as disabling Add-Ons, restarting, etc, as well as setting proxy settings to No Proxy, etc, etc. Does anyone have ideas ideas as to why Firefox is no longer able to load "My Yahoo" page, but I am able to load things like my Yahoo Mail page successfully? Thank you in advance for any ideas anyone has on this.

Firstly, a heartfelt "Thank You" for the prompt reply. I have gone through the steps you outlined above in the past, with no success, but I did them again just to be certain. One other thing that took place since posted this a few days ago, is that I "Updated Firefox, to 9.0.1 and after I did that, then Firefox would not even load at all. I kept getting a Firefox has crashed pop up, etc. So I figured before I could go through the steps you outlined above, I needed to "Uninstall and Reinstall" Firefox once again. I did this, and loaded the Yahoo Optimized version since apparently the generic version of Firefox, 9.0.1 must have some bugs that did not allow it to load up on my computer. After reloaded Firefox, I proceeded to go through the steps you have outlined above, and as typical, I still have the same problem, even in Safe Mode. My Yahoo comes up as a Blank White Page... no error messages or anything, just a blank white page. Since I have posted this I have been forced to use Google Chrome, and I really hate using that browser, but I don't know what else to do here. Any other ideas please? Thank you once again.
Note: Even as I am typing this Firefox is coming up with a pop up window, suggesting I update to version 9.0.1 since it is a security and stability update. However I won't do this, because the last time I did, Firefox would not load at all.

The "Blank White Page" Effect

For a little while now, when I visit any random site or type in any random URL, Safari just brings up a blank white page. I try refreshing, etc., and nothing happens. It also happens with all PDFs.
Here is what I've done to try to fix the problem:
Verify/Repair privilages
Empty Cashe
Clear Java (both versions)
Clear Icons
The "white page" effect is happening so often I'm having to use Internet Explorer!

Feel free to compare via the two links and tell me what you're seeing. I've viewed it in Safari, Firefox (pc and mac), and IE (pc). There's a similar issue with IE, but it doesn't have to reload each time when returning to a page like it does in Safari. I suspect it's in the way the URL forward has been set up.

I'm running an online store at http://bubblething.com. I created it with iWeb 08. It crashed and I've been trying to recreate it, partly from images retreived by Apple from their "webarchive" and partly with images created fresh. I But I keep getting a dropdown error box saying "The following errors occurred while trying to open this page." Then there's a list of the missing images, and the images are all crossed out on my page. This seems to be happening unpredictably, sometimes just a few days after I've worked on the page. What's happening? Is it because somehow I've moved files, and the links to the images are broken? Please help!

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.
