Incoterms in SRM

Hello All,
i have a question to ask,
is there any need (Mandatory)that the inco-terms are to be maintained
in the Backend for the Replication of the Vendors.
if we have to then what is the programme that is to be run
like BBP_GET_CURRENCY.....ect.do we have any thing of that
sort to get the inco-terms.
bcoz the job log says that the incoterms are not maintained in
the backend.

    Incoterms are never replicated from ECC
    They are created manually in SRM under
    SPRO>Cross Application Basic Setting>Create Incoterm
    The Incoterm which is existing in ECC system - the same has to be create in SRM
    While Replicating Vendor from ECC,the entries will be visible in Table BBPM_BUT_FRG0061
    If the Incoterm does not exist in SRM and exist only ECC system,than while replicating there will be warning message and
    Incotern field in Table BBPM_BUT_FRG0061 will be Blank
    Please rewards some points if this fine.

  • Default Incoterms & terms of payment - PO

    Hi Experts,
    I have created the SC with prefered vendor, which will converted to fixed vendor later in SC using the doc change BADI.
    But the issue is there when the SC is converted into PO after approval, not populated with default incoterms and terms of payment from vendor master.
    However it is defaulting correctly when the PO is being created from the SC with contract and changing the vendor of the PO.
    Can any one let me know the cause for this issue?

  • Set Incoterm and Terms of Payment in Bid Invitation

    Hi gurus,
        We are using SRM 5.0 on ECS with backend ECC 5.0.
        The requirement is that the user want to set incoterm and terms of payment when they create bid invitation.So the bidder can just follow what the purchaser has set in order not to change the value.
        Anyway we can do this?

    If you dont want the Bidder to chnage the values for the fields "terms of payment" ,  "Incoterm" then you can have 2 options:
    1.   Make these fields display only using the BADI BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI".
    2. Implement checks acc for these fields in the Bid screen if the  bidder tries to change these values thorugh the BADI "BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI".
    Also I didnt recieve any mail from your id.Can you pls resend it.If possible send me the doc with your deatiled reqt if i have misunderstood anything.

  • PO text not updated on SRM portal

    Hi Friends,
    We have upgraded SRM 4.0 (SRM server 5 SP04) to SRM 5.0 (SRM server 5.5 SP03) in MM-SUS scenario using XI 3.0.
    In a standard functionality text at header and item level of PO is visible on the portal. However currently we are not able to see text in the "Messages from purchaser" textedit box on the portal.
    We have checked in the R/3 idoc. Following two segments carry this information:
    IDOC Segment ON R/3 for header text: E1EDKT2
    IDOC Segment ON R/3 for ITEM text: E1EDPT2
    All the content of these segments are also there in the XML on SUS, but are not visible on the portal.
    For example, following are the contents displayed in the text box:
    Vendor :DS063D -SHARDA MOTOR INDUSTRIES LTD
    Buyer :SANT GANESH
    Validity Start Date :21.03.2006 & Validity-End Date:31.03.2099
    Payment Term :D022 --19 days from date of receipt
    Incoterms :Free del.to stores-Frgt.paid --
    Similar is the problem for item text.
    I will be very grateful if anybody can suggest the settings missing or program correction required on SRM in BSP application (SRMSUS).

    Few more pointers, if works:
    1. Check the roles, sometimes security restricts role by document types.
    2. Extended classic scenario is activated.
    3. As a standard, there are 3 purchasing tabs in SRM 7.0 for buyer depending on portal roles, ECC, SRM & harmonized role (ECC & SRM), Check if you are trying to create PO in SRM/Harmonized role purchasing tab & not in ECC. Easiest way to check is you will have shopping cart POWL visible in SRM purchasing tab.

  • Vendor Sync Job not updating all vendors from ECC to SRM

    The vendors are updated from ECC to SRM by batch job
    Z_SUP_BAT_VENDORSYNC (object BBP_VENDOR_SYNC).
    This job is missing updation of some vendors from ECC to SRM.
    Its happening on and of.We are updating these leftout vendors manually by TCODE BBPUPDVD and new left out vendors by BBPGETVD.
    We have concluded that information in these vendors is replicated from
    ECC to SRM GUI but it is not reflecting in SRM portal.
    Reasons looks like when vendor data(Incoterms/Payment terms) is replicated from ECC to SRM an
    addition row is created in vendor data in SRM which does have this information(Tcode ;BBPMAININT).
    Though the information is present in second row in vendor data tab of vendor information when executed using TCODE BBPMAININT but Vendor information in portal is picked from 1st row and does not appear when try to shop.
    Can anyone suggest how to resolve this?

    The problem is because of the inconsistency in the tables BBPM_BUT_FRG0060 and BBPM_BUT_FRG0061.
    From table BUT000 take the partner guid for the problematic vendor.
    Enter the partner guid as input to the table BBPM_BUT_FRG0060  . check the number of available rows.
    Now check the table BBPM_BUT_FRG0061 with the partner guid. check the number of rows.
    You must see the inconsistent number of records in these 2 tables for the partner, like 1 row in BBPM_BUT_FRG0060  and 2 rows in BBPM_BUT_FRG0061.
    Delete the invalid row in the table BBPM_BUT_FRG0061. That should resolve the problem you are facing.

    I have created a datatype using the xml message which I received in XI. But Iam totally confused to what are the fields that should be mapped with the Idoc and how is this mapping done.

    In my opinion,
    on an XI project there should always be a module specialist who would first lead you to the Relevant SAP objects name to use for the customer's business scenario and second for the relevant fields of on the target structure to be filled
    e.g..
    In IDoc for posting FI document there is a segment regarding "business area" - you have to be an experienced FI consultant with knowledge of the current FI solution in the implementing organization, in order to map or not data to this segment.
    in one of the first xi documents from sap.help , SAP mentioned that in order to implement a XI project one of the key figures involved must be a module specialist.

  • BI content SRM upgrade 7.0

    Dear all,
    We have upgraded our SRM system to 7.0. In BI, I have activated the new Business content.
    I know that there are new fields, like OSR_DSTRIND, PS_HL_ITEM, PS_HANDLE_ITM.
    We have a contract, where a contract item is distributed to 2 different locations (plants). In the extraction of 0BBP_TD_CONTR_2, I can see that the Distribution indicator is filled with 'X'. But I only see 1 record for the whole item.
    The field PS_HANDLE_ITM is filled in and field PS_HL_ITEM is empty. Is this normal?
    Where can I see the distribution? Is this in a different extractor? Or do I do something wrong?

       I'm not sure if the field that provides the location (plant) is the Incoterm Location, please validate it with the SRM Functional Consultans, if this is the field you need, the SAP Note below might help.

    We're having trouble displaying incoterms in the webshop (Internet Sales). We would like to display the incoterms in the shopping cart (on header level).
    Is it SAP CRM standard? Do we have to do anything in JSP?
    Unfortunately we have not been able to find anything on it within CRM only with SRM
    We're using CRM 5.0.

    Display of incoterms in B2B webshop shopping basket is very much out of box functionality. You don't need to do any program execution to display incoterms.
    While you are on shopping basket screen, just expand the 'Additional Order Data' link, which displays incoterms.

  • How to get the values from table SKB1 R/3  to SRM

    Hi Gurus,
    My requirement is to get all the values from the table SKB1 to SRM (i.e. in to an internal table) for doing some validation(G/L account XXXXXX requires an assignment to a CO objectXXXXXX.)
    Like wise I have many tables for doing validation in SRM
    Help me how to get this, suggest me any Function module with sample code.
    OR
    Any Standard FM which will give all the values of the fields in the table SKB1 when I pass the key fields G/L account & company code alone so that I can improve the performance.

  • SRM 5.0 - how to change default password?

    Am trying to install SRM 5.0 Oracle 10g as the DB. In the instllation doc of SRM 5.0 a default password is given to connect to the database and I see the encrypted password is in the jdbc properties. How can we change the default password? How do I get the encrypted value?

    Hi,
    I tried installing SRM 5.0.3 according to the instructions created SRM db with a different user instead of default rbacxservice.I have set it up for oracle db. Following the instructions,when I had to edit jdbc.properties ,I was not sure how to get the encrypted password .
    The properties file just has default encrypted password.My question is if change the user ,how do we get a different encrypted password?
    If anybody has done it please help.

  • Open and close a PO in web dynpro in SRM 7.0 screen .

    Hi All ,
    I am creating a PO in SRM 7.0 by using excel upload via web dynpro screen .
    After the upload , I see that there are some problems with the PO in web dynpro .
    For example , when i click on the line item it dumps and there are some other similar problems .
    When I save the PO close it and reopen it , the problem goes away . May be the system handles them in some way
    So , is there a way in which I can close and reopen the po through coding ?
    I know there are buttons at the top that close the PO , but some how I could not get the code for that .

    By first instance, i think that problem may be with uploading from excel. because sometimes excel data conversion will not done properly. So due to incorrect values, PO may go into dump..  that is my thought.

    You want to delete the PO completely from the DB or just mark it as delete?
    If you want to delete it from the database then use the FM BBP_PD_PO_DB_DELETE.
    This will delete the PO completely from DB.
    If you just want to mark it as delete then there is button "Delete" in the PO you can use it. The PO is set to delete and the same info is transfered to backend.
