InDesign - PDF • Noms de fichiers différents

Bonjour,
Voici mon problème :
Quand je fais un PDF à partir d'un fichier InDesign, le nom par défaut du PDF est différent du nom du fichier InDesign. Cela n'est pas toujours le cas, mais souvent il prend le nom d'un autre fichier. Ayant des noms de fichiers InDesign un peu complexes, j'aimerai trouver une solution pour qu'à la création des PDF le nom du fichier PDF soit rigoureusement identique à celui du fichier InDesign.

Lors du premier export d'un fichier InDesign, le nom du fichier exporté prend automatiquement le nom du fichier InDesign, mais il suffit qu'une seule fois, on ait donné un autre nom au fichier exporté pour que ce soit ce nom qui persiste. Énervant, mais c'est comme ça…

Bonjour,
est-il possible d'activer différents jeux de calques dans un seul et unique document indesign?
(tout ce que j'ai trouvé sur internet c'est: "il est impossible de créer des jeux de calques dans inDesign", mais je n'abandonnerai pas!)
Par exemple mon "Neutre-français": Et mon "Alimentation-français":
J'ai pas fini mon document, j'aurais encore plus de calques d'ici peu..., grâce à eux j'aurai 10 versions minimum de cette liste de prix pour mon client.
Le problème c'est qu'à chaque mise à jour des prix (grâce à une automatisation), je suis bonne pour refaire tous mes exports avec le risque de me planter de calques... J'aimerais donc sécuriser cette opération.
Je me refuse également à faire plusieurs fichiers, car il y a un risque d'oublier de faire des corrections sur l'un d'eux...
Quelqu'un aurait-il une idée?...
Je continue mes recherches de mon côté... Si je trouves une solution "magique" je vous en fait part.

Pour le texte conditionnel je vais aller étudier ça... je connaissais pas...
Pour le Layer Comp... je viens de le trouver il y a 5 minutes... Il est payant, il faut que je demande l'autorisation... mais c'est exactement ce qu'il me faut.
Ils ont également le Layer Group qui peut être également très utile, surtout dans mon document!
Pour la petite explication ces listes de prix sont pour différents marchés (qui ont différentes conditions de ventes, différents prix), déclinées ou non en plusieurs langues... avec des couvertures différentes pour chaques marchés mais identiques quand il s'agit des langues, etc... on pourrait le faire en programmation... mais c'est un trop "petit" job pour s'embêter à programmer!

J’ai un magazine avec plusieurs formats, un papier A4 et un numérique. J’ai des rédacteurs qui bossent sur le texte. La mise en pages est différente entre les 2 supports, lorsque je modifie la taille de la taille de la police sur l’un, je ne souhaite pas qu’il s’applique sur l’autre. Je recherche du meilleur moyen d’avoir que un seul fichier pour le texte.
Quel est-il?

Il faut revenir sur une des fonctionnalités de la CS6 (désolé pour l'auto-promo) : les articles liés, avec synchronisation du style. Définir un document maître, copier lier les versions différentes.
Idéalement, on peut même réaliser cette opération via les variantes de mise en page, en amont du projet, si celles-ci sont systématiques.

Je rencontre une erreur fréquente pour les essais d'impression de mes livrets sous inDesign, (cf. image jointe)
Lorsque je veux imprimer mon livret parfois le logiciel me signale que mon document comporte différents formats de page. Et je ne peux pas aller plus loin.
Depuis le début je n'ai jamais réussi à résoudre cette erreur, je ne sais pas si elle est du à un bug.
À chaque fois il ma fallu déplacer ma production dans un document vierge.
si vous avez une solution je suis preneuse .

C'est bien là tout le problême,
lorsque je vérifie (évidement) si les formats sont différents (j'ai un format enregistré à mon nom), ce n'est pas le cas, tout est identique. Je ne comprends donc pas pourquoi il ne veut aller plus loin...
Je pense que cela peut-être du à un bug car parfois j'ai pu faire des essais avec des formats de couvertures differents du cahier principal pour exporter (et valider visuellemen) en pdf.
cependant je suis toujours revenue au format de page initial, et ce, pour toutes les pages du document.

Flash should be able to publish an html page which will provide the web page code needed for embedding the swf. The page it publishes should be sufficient for planting on a server unless you plan to dress it up with other content as well.
As far as incorporating Flash content into a PDF using InDesign goes, you are best to ask questions about using InDesign in the InDesign forum. Here is a link to the Overview page whee you can pick which forum applies best to your situation:

I have a form created in Livecycle designer that I would like to add to an InDesign PDF. I also would like to make minor revisions to the InDesign document in Livecycle. Can anyone tell me how this can be done. Thanks.

it cannot be done!
The PDF's you create with Designer and InDesign are totally different animals and not comparable against each other.
To edit an interactive PDF you created with InDesign you can either use Acrobat for minor changes or the source file (indd) and InDesign.
To edit a dynamic PDF created with Designer you have to use Designer as even Acrobat won't allow changes.

Indesign pdf on web page

am i wrong in thinking i can use an indesign pdf on a web page like i do a normal pdf or jpg?
i have had an indesign pdf created by someone, [sorry i dont know what the actual created pdf is called or whether it has a proper name?] and i need to reference it into a web page, and it wont appear. any one any ideas? do i need to write in some special HTML? [can only manage HTML and nothing more spectacular but it works for normal pdfs]

hi all
i had this working well on one computer, my machine at work that has IE6 on it. I use the Embed tag and put in a little line about not showing the borders:
this worked beautifully first time.
not i am back on my laptop, mac [Firefox, Safari & Opera] , and my mates as well, PC laptop [Firefox and IE7], but now the HTML page i set up with the embedded pdf in it doesn't work now. oddly enough the self help page i used:

Also doesn't show the embedded pdf which i did see earlier. very confused now. is it my machine? Firefox? all new browsers?
any further help is massively appreciated. I know this can work and have had it working...

Illustrator PDF saving as an InDesign PDF

Strange... I have CS5. Just recently, when I try to save an AI document as a PDF, it looks like everything works correctly, but the resulting icon on my desktop shows ID (pdf). When I click on it, it says InDesign can not open the document because a plugin is missing or it is open (which it is not). I can go back into Illustrator and open it, and I can open it through Acrobat, but saving again, through either of these programs still gives me a default of an InDesign PDF which in turn will not open by just clicking on it.
Any thoughts as to what may be causing this?

Indesign canot open the PDF file ,however you can place the pdf file in the Indesign which wil not be editable.

Place command is under File>place
also what is happening at your end is the issue of the file association, the default application to open the PDF set on your computer is Adobe Indesign.
once the default application will be changed to Acrobat it will work fine for you.
Please let us know the operating system to know the steps or you can google it.

InDesign PDF Exports not as small as Quark

Anybody know why inDesign PDFs are double the size of Quark's? I choose the smallest file size setting and the PDFs still come out twice the size of Quark's.

Without seeing the comparison files in terms of content, it's very hard to guess what's going on exactly, but there are a few considerations.
(1) Quark does not support PDF creation with ICC color profiles. Those can get rather large if you have multiple CMYK color spaces or a large number of different RGB color spaces, but those profiles are necessary. Being smaller because you are not color-managed is hardly a feature.
(2) InDesign does uses PDF language features that allow fairly intelligent handling of objects within Acrobat when using exported PDF (such as understanding that the fi ligature is really the letter f followed by i for purposes of searching, for example).
You don't mention which version of InDesign you are running, but very dramatic PDF file size improvements were made for InDesign 5 over InDesign 4 and for content with non-overriden graphics on master pages, significant PDF file size improvements for InDesign 6 over InDesign 5.

Indesign PDF convertable to .jnt file?

I have a client who wants me to convert all my Indesign PDF files to .jnt files so they can be viewed in Microsoft Journal on a tablet. I am not sure if this is possible (I don't think it is). I converted the Indesign PDF to a .JPG and .PNG file so they can maybe insert it in as picture in Microsoft Journal and then save it as a .jnt file. I don't have a tablet and I don't have Microsoft Journal. I do have Acrobat X and am wondering if maybe I can save it as an .xml 1.0 maybe?
Why would anyone want to do this anyway? These PDF files were originally created to go to a print shop to be printed and are not intended to be viewed on a tablet. Is my client essentially asking me to recreate the file on a tablet (in Microsoft journal) just so I can save it as a .jnt file? It is a complex form with check boxes, graphics, etc.

I don't think it's a feasible workflow and can't find a converter online.
Best to supply a PDF and have them view it in Acrobat Reader 9 or later.
If they can't work with that - then providing instructions for inserting in Windows Journal would be better.

Indesign PDF optimization

lets say that I want to make Indesign PDF, done from only one image of 50 kb, multiplied 10 times.
How can Indesign (or PDF) embed image only once instead od 10 times? So the PDF is 50kb instead of 500 kb?

Fonctionnement du programme différent après création de l'executable

Comme le mentionne le titre de ce sujet, je rencontre un problème après la création de l'executable.
Étant un programmeur Labview novice , je ne suis pas encore au clair avec certaines choses.
En pièce jointe, le print-screen du bout de programme qui pose problème.
Fonctionnement avant création de l'éxecutable:
J'utilise 2 boucles while. Au lancement du soft, je tourne dans la 1ère jusqu'à appuyer sur la touche "Start" qui me stoppe la boucle et me fait aller dans la 2nde.
Une fois dans la 2nde, si j'appuye dans sur la touche "Stop", je reviens dans la 1ère...
Après création de l'éxecutable:
Une fois dans la 2nde boucle while et si j'appuye sur "Stop", le programme ne revient pas dans la 1ère boucle while et se stoppe... (chose que seul devrait faire le bouton "Quitter le programme")
Pourquoi y a-t-il un fonctionnement différent avant et après?
Je ne sais pas si j'ai été clair...

C'est vrai que j'avais pris la mauvaise habitude d'appuyer sur le bouton execution en continu sans me poser de question...
Effectivement, en mode execution "normale" et avec une grande boucle while, ça ne pose plus de "problème".

Comment ajouter 1 image différente sur chaque face cube 3d avec Photoshop CS6

Est-ce que quelqu'un serait me dire comment faire pour appliquer une image différente sur chaque face d'un cube 3D avec Photoshop CS6? (Avec CS5 c'était facile avec le menu 3D, Nouveau filet à partir du calque, Filet prédéfini puis CUBE). Avec CS6 cette fonction a été remplacée par EMBALLAGE CUBIQUE et je ne trouve pas d'explication pour plaquer 1 image différente sur chaque face!
Ensuite je souhaiterai l'animer et l'utiliser dans PowerPoint.

Je ne sais pas si vous avez bien fait attention, mais, sur ma cs6, j'ai ça à la fois dans le menu 3d ("cube", juste sous "emballage cubique") et dans le panneau 3d si je sélectionne un calque classique… (comme dans cs5).
Par contre pour l'animation dans Power Point, aucune idée, sinon en faire une vidéo, sans doute un peu lourde…
