InDesign to PDF-Full Screen Publish w/out Border

Hi, and thanks to any in the community for any help!
I create not for print, but rather screen-based viewing. I understand setting docs to open in Full Screen mode; however, I want my ID-originated PDFs to fill the entire screen with no border (to right or left of my content.)
Most of my PDFs are intended for single page viewing. When I create content in MS PPT I set slide size to full screen (16:9), publish to PDF, and get the desired effect. See pic 2 below.
I want my ID-originated PDF to not have a border region to the left and right (as seen in pic1)
I'm new to ID and for the life of me can't create a doc which does not have large borders to the right and left of my content (wasted real estate!). I'm sure I'm missing a little thing, have looked all over Youtube and forums but can't resolve! Again any help most appreciated. Am I setting doc properties wrong? (See pic 3).

In this LINK I created a PDF from PPT. Clicking CNTR/Command + L you will see that the PDF does not display "borders" (I'm sure I'm using a wrong word).It's Full Screen! It's to say, there is no space occupied on the screen to the left or right of the "canvas" or content I created- (dark grey areas on both sides of my content). This is what I want from ID.

Shortcut keys NOT working when publish to PDF full screen

We have a series of modules that are published to pdf and the animations run inside the pdf file. We use the Tab shortcut key quite a bit as it simulates the natural progression between form items.
This works fine when viewing the pdf in standard mode. But when you right click on the PDF and go full screen, the Tab key fails to work. It wants to place emphasis on the playback controller.
Has anyone experienced this issue, and do you know the workaround?

If the PDF's page content is not renderable text (e.g., the scanned image/picuture of characters or outlined fonts (which are graphics (a "picuture")) then there is nothing for the Highlight Comment tool to work with.
So - two trials.
Acrobat's Preferences set to permit "U" to make use of the Underline tool.
Each trial done in Full screen.
#1 = a PDF with scanned stuff. Press "U". Tool is available but unable to highlight anything.
#2 = a PDF with renderable stuff. Press "U". Tool is available & can place highlight over selected characters.

Pdf full screen mode page size

Hi all,
I am building an interactive pdf and everything is working nicely, other than the page size when the file is started. What happens is that when you open the file and it autostarts in full screen mode the first page is full screen, then when navigating to page 2 it is a bit smaller than page 1, and then going to page 3 is even smaller where the remainder of the pages are then the same size.
How can I get this file to open and view ALL AT THE SAME PAGE SIZES?

ok I've done I figured out the problem! OK the problem is with the links (jumping from one page to another). OK this is why some pages get smaller. Alright you might have to check all your links on each page, but it will fix the problem. First go to any page now click the links button and all the links should be highlighted now on that page. Next Right click on a link, then go to properties, and here a menu will pop up. The problem lies in here. OK see where it says Zoom level. Make sure it says FIT PAGE or whatever is consistent to your other links. If it doesnt, click edit and change it to FIT PAGE. The reason my page or pages would get smaller is becasue instead of FIT PAGE it said CUSTOM and that made the page smaller. Try it works no joke! Let me know how it comes out?

Preview pdf full screen shows double pages after page 1

How can I get Preview to show single pages in fullscreen mode? It keeps showing the 2nd and 3rd page (and so on) of any pdf side by side on the screen. Single page display in a window works fine, but when swithcing to full screen it always displays it as a two-page layout.

I don't have CS4 but in CS3 I could get the same results as "use software rendering" as when I clicked on "restore down" (middle symbol in upper rt corner of windows screen) even though I enlarged the window to full screen.
In maximize window mode I had several problems with the preview without software rendering, and knew my video card was weak point. I know this is not the same issue but does not cost anything to try it. Don't know why it worked either.

I am creating a language tutorial. Am trying to add full screen text without losing the audio explanation of the text. How do I make this edit and not lose the audio that coincides with the full screen text?

Variable - Constant Frame Rate Explanation
First, the variable frame rate mention and any problems that might be expected if your iPad video was recorded with a variable rather than constant frame rate. Some cameras (such a cell phone, iPod, probably iPad) record video not at one frame rate across the whole video recording. Instead, they record with a variable frame rate depending usually on the lighting conditions during video recording. One way to know what your recording device is using is to view the MediaInfo video audio properties readout. If you have a constant frame rate, you will see just one frame rate listed. If variable, you should see 3 frame rates listed minimum, maximum, and mid range frame rate.

This situation may or may not cause problems for you in Premiere Elements. The signs of problems are usually out of sync audio and you just cannot import the video into the project. If this type of problem, then you take your video into a program such as HandBrake to generate a file with a constant rather than variable frame rate. Then you import the file with the constant frame rate into your Premiere Elements project. http://handbrake.fr/
Again, this may or may not create problems.
The Generalized Project Workflow
There is no problem to setup up your Timeline physically. The iPad video with go to Video Track 1 and Audio Track 1. The video is imported into the project linked to it audio portion. And, the Full Screen Text Files will be on Video Track 2 directly above the related content. Now here is the part that I am not yet clear on. Is the Full Screen Text for a given portion of video supposed to synchronize word for word with what you are saying in the audio on Audio Track 1? That will involve a mapping out part with regard to duration of each of the Full Screen Text files. Will these Full Screen Text files be readable against the video representing the background? Font style and size and color will be major considerations as well as getting the text file to be on screen long enough to be readable even with Font style, size, and color considerations.
The fact that you focus on audio loss in all this makes me wonder if I am missing a vital part of what you want to do. The loss of audio concern that you mention does not seem like a prime factor unless you are referring to sync between the texts and what it is supposed to correspond to in the audio of the video.
Please review and consider and then, based on your reply, I will offer a mini demo to see if we are OK on the details.

How do you minimize a full-screen published project?

I'm working on a project that will be published full-screen .exe. Is there a way to add a button to the skin to minimize the project for the user? Just in case they need to check email or something without having to click the 'X' button.

No way to minimize to my knowledge. But you can insert a button that will close it.
To do this, insert a slide at the end of the project. Time it for like .1 seconds. Insert a button that jumps to the last slide when clicked by the user. Then configure the project to close when finished.

Full screen publishing

Hi All,
I'm hoping this is no-brainer for those of you who have used
Flash for some time so please forgive the newbee but how on earth
do I publish a swf on Flash Player 9 in full screen ? I'm find
actionscript tough going at the moment so any assistance will be

set it to 100% x 100%
Now all you need is edit the html and set it's margins to
zero so
there is no while border around the full screen movie.

How to activate windows screensaver in PDF full screen mode?

Hey everyone!
We have some PDF based product presentations that we show on plasma screens. Recently we renewed our computes and switched from Vista to Windows 7, as well as Adobe Reader 9.3 to X.
Since this change the Windows screensaver doesn't activate when a PDF document is displayed in full screen mode.
I've already tried to install Adobe Reader 9.3 again, but it seems that this has nothing to do with the Reader version but with Windows 7.
Can someone please confirm this? I want to get sure this is indeed the case with Windows 7.
The more important question is: How can I get the sceensaver running again?

On Windows, this will be fixed in Firefox 30 (the next release, currently in [http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/beta/ beta]). In the mean-time there are apparently [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=517870#c35 workarounds].
For Mac OS X & Linux however, this is not fixed yet.

View Full Screen is grayed out

I cannot click on view, full screen, it is grayed out. I have no scroll bar on the right of my playlist songs.

Occurs when exit out of full screen visualizer with ESC button. Try this. While in full screen visualizer, toggle Full-Screen with Command Ctrl F (PC is Ctrl-Shift-F).

Full screen mode blacks out my second screen

Help, love fullscreen mode but it blacks out my linked Macbook pro too. How do I stop this?

When you're in full screen - use the same shortcuts when in normal mode to control the Secondary Viewer, ie, Option + M - mirror, Option + A - alternate - Option + S - Span, Option + B - Blank (probably what its set to currently), or Option + X - Desktop

Full screen hsync & refresh out of range on LCD monitor

When I try to run some games in full screen mode, my screen says 'mode not supported.' I had this problem before with xorg, so I put modelines into my xorg.conf to match the supported modes in the monitor's manual.
Is there any way to make full screen games adhere to the restrictions set in xorg,conf, or do I need to find a way to manually set this for every game?

CS2 Indesign doc - Tables have uneven thick and thin lines - made PDF - on screen some white out

Using CS2 Indesign. Doc about 100 pages with numerous tables. The lines inside the tables is uneven although I have changed the stroke size to be consistent. Once it was made into a PDF Acrobat 9 it looked much worse on screen. Uneven lines and some lines actually whited out. Really out of time trying for a solution - with an important deadline. Anyone have any experience with this?

How does it print? You can't always judge line width on screen.

Pinching screen to reduce and see full screen every time out of holster

Hi,
Since I installed the latest OS update, now every time I take my phone out of its holster, the fonts are larger than usual and I have to pinch the screen to reduce it to normal size and see all the screen like before.
I have tried going into settings and setting font size to 8 and it works but as soon as the phone locks itself and I open it again it goes back to that larger zoomed in screen that I have to pinch to zoom out and back to normal.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

for some reason by default the zoom has been activated on everyones phone.
go to > settings > accessibility > turn off screen reader BETA > job done.

Full screen preview blanked out in from options in audio video settings?

Hi all,
Am running FCP6 and have lost the option to preview fullscreen in the audio video settings menu. It is literally missing, as an option, though the space the option inhabited is still there. Only options I have are to preview via firewire to my CRT monitor. I have tried to refresh AV devices and all frames, but doesn't seems to help/work.
Any suggestions?

Hi David and thanks for your suggestion. I gave it a try and no luck. Its just the same. I have no options in video playback at all unless I connect my deck and then I have only the via firewire options, the deck provides. BTW, I know its the wrong forum, but I have the same blanking out situation in the output filed in MOTION.
Any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

PDF Viewer Full Screen Nokia N8?

Hello, I was wondering is it possible to view a PDF full screen in landscape mode on the nokia n8 rather than only seeing the pdf aswell as the zoom/scroll tool bar on the right hand side and the options and so on on the bottom. The reason why I am asking is because when I view the PDF in landscape mode with these tool bars always there, I can only see a smaller document. However I would prefer to see the full screen being the document and the tool bars come up when ever I tap the screen, so I can use them. Is this possible?

on the N97mini I'm able to view pdf in fullscreen, I was surprised to see that on the N8 this option was gone. I think there's adobe reader le2.5 installed, works very slow! is there a better pdf reader for symbian 3?
