Initialization fail during downtime of r/3
Hi,
I ran the setup tables for sales , 11 during downtime.
The initialization for 2lis_11_V_ITM failed and now the system is back and running.
I deleted the init now and ran the initialization again, it is good.
So, If i understand it right,
Any document changes related to this data source that occurred after setup tables have been loaded and successful init later,
while system was running are lost.
Looking at the MC structure it gets data from VBAK, VBAP, VBKD, VBUP & VBUP.
I looked at the help page of the DataSource, 2LIS_11_V_ITM
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/94/5780aeec7d43d9be78b05fd4b3212e/content.htm
May i know if i there is a method to check if i have missed any document changes?
Thanks,
Raj.
Hi,
I think , its better to do initialization again, by setting the "Early Delta Intialization" in the Info package settings.
If you set this, there is no need of making the system down, By this setting the Delta queue will be filled , parallely with the init load.
Hope it helps.....

[JTAExceptions:119002]A logging last resource failed during initialization
Hi Guys,
After creating data source when we restart the weblogic/soa/osb server..we are getting following error.
Reason: [JTAExceptions:119002]A logging last resource failed during initialization. The server cannot boot unless all configured logging last resources (LLRs) initialize. Failing reason:
javax.transaction.SystemException: weblogic.transaction.loggingresource.LoggingResourceException: java.sql.SQLException: J
DBC LLR, table verify failed for table *'WL_LLR_SOA_SERVER1', row 'JDBC LLR Domain//Server' record had unexpected value 'soa_domain//AdminServer' expected value 'soa_domain//soa_server1'>* .
I checked the table 'WL_LLR_SOA_SERVER1', this tables have poolnamestr = 'soa_domain//soa_server1'..
some times we get the error: 'WL_LLR_SOA_SERVER1', row 'JDBC LLR Domain//Server' record had unexpected value 'base_domain//soa_server1' expected value 'soa_domain//soa_server1'>* .*
My concern is ..we have only one domain (soa_domain) also 'WL_LLR_SOA_SERVER1' table is populated with correct value..then from where 'base_domain' value is coming?
Our SOA server is running on linux 64 bit platform. and it's not a cluster installation.
can some one suggest me how to fix this issue.
thanks,
ABHi Anuj,
Yes We have only one domain and this issue we face when we bounce the server after creating datasources.
Sometime this issue also appear when we try to deploy the datasource in managed/admin server.. for example..
An error occurred during activation of changes, please see the log for details.
weblogic.application.ModuleException:

Oracle ODBC - Internal Error - unable to initialize NLS during driver load
I'm having some trouble with my ODBC connections which I hope someone can please help me with!
About 6 weeks ago all was working as normal.
As far as I know there have been no updates to the ORacle DB, the Windows XP operating system or the ODBC Drivers.
Today when I opened access and visual case 2 to connect to Oracle I was at first greeted with a:
unable to connect SQLState=IM004 SQL_HANDLE_ENV
error. ODBC also kept crashing.
I restarted the computer and was confronted with a different error:
odbc SQLSTate 08004 ORA 12154 TNS could not resolve the connect identifier specified
I was able to fix this error by setting the environment variable TNS_ADMIN in windows xp environment variables. I'm extremely confused about how this happened though as it was working and I don't think anything has changed.
I was then able to connect to the database via Microsoft Access but when I opened Visual Case 2 and tried to make an update, I was confronted with the following error:
Oracle ODBC Driver - internal error - unable to initialize NLS during driver load
I looked in the registry at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Oracle\KEY_OraClient10g_home1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Oracle\KEY_OraClient10g_home2
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Oracle\KEY_OraDb10g_home1
and NLS_LANG was set to "AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252" in all 3 places.
(Though KEY_OraClient10g_home2 only had 4 entries as opposed to KEY_OraClient10g_home1's 13 entries)...
Since I made those changes I can no longer connect through Access.
I just receive a ODBC - connection to 'xxx' failed
Advice greatly appreciated!!!!
Edited by: user11150264 on Aug 25, 2009 10:21 PMActually it sort of does...
I switched the ODBC connection to use instant client and now it's all working again.
The biggest mystery is what changed to make it suddenly stop working the old way... -

Edited by: Nawneet on Nov 13, 2009 1:07 AMHi,
I am new to EBS and Solaris OS . So can you send me command to check the above question.
and how to change if any setting so that we can successfully run the EBS12.1.1 on Solaris.When you did the installation, did you select to go with one OS user (i.e. oracle) or multiple users (i.e. applmgr and oracle)? You can verify this by issuing "ls -l" command on the application tier node files and the database tier node files, this should tell you the owner of the files.
One more thing which may be helpfull.
I have downloaded the zip files from E delivery and i have unzip the files on Mount drive.
So i think during the process of unzip it will create the staging area... I am right...??
And is there anything like we cannot create Staging Area on Mount drive.Correct, just put all the files under one directory and extract it, and this will create the stage area directory for you.
Do we need to apply additional patches ...??
we have already applied below patches....as listed in Doc ID: 761568.1
125100-04 or higher
120473-05 or higher
127111-02 or higher
137111-04 or higherThose are OS patches and should be applied before starting the installation (mandatory).

BPEL Process Manager Oracle BPEL Domain Initialization Failed
I was able to login into BPEL Process Manager without any error. Then I changed one entry in the oc4j-ra.xml file and restarted the BPEL server and started getting the error message.
Oracle BPEL Domain Initialization Failed
The Oracle BPEL Domain default did not initialize successfully. The following error was detected during startup. Please contact the Oracle Support
Team if you are not able to resolve this problem.
Reported Error:
Cannot lookup jdbc datasource.
The process domain was unable to lookup the TX datasource "eis/DB/DBConnection1".
Please check that the machine hosting the datasource is physically connected to the network. Additionally check that the
connection pool properties as defined in the application server startup
properties are valid.
I put back the original oc4j-ra.xml back in appropriate dir , restarted the BPEL server and database server still getting the same errro message listed above, It's urgent can anybody post the possible solution/suggestion experience.
ThanksI opened the file under
./application-deployments/default/DbAdapter/oc4j-ra.xml and it has the following entry
<connector-factory location="eis/DB/DBConnection1" connector-name="Database Adapter">
<config-property name="xADataSourceName" value="jdbc/DBConnection1DataSource"/>
<config-property name="dataSourceName" value="loc/DBConnection1DataSource"/>
<config-property name="platformClassName" value="oracle.toplink.platform.database.Oracle9Platform"/>
<config-property name="usesNativeSequencing" value="true"/>
<config-property name="sequencePreallocationSize" value="50"/>
<config-property name="defaultNChar" value="false"/>
<config-property name="usesBatchWriting" value="true"/>
<connection-pooling use="none">
</connection-pooling>
<security-config use="none">
</security-config>
</connector-factory>
I opened that file (
./connectors/DbAdapter/DbAdapter/META-INF/oc4j-ra.xml) and it has no entry for
<connector-factory location="eis/DB/DBConnection1" connector-name="Database Adapter">
<config-property name="xADataSourceName" value="jdbc/DBConnection1DataSource"/>
<config-property name="dataSourceName" value="loc/DBConnection1DataSource"/>
<config-property name="platformClassName" value="oracle.toplink.platform.database.Oracle9Platform"/>
<config-property name="usesNativeSequencing" value="true"/>
<config-property name="sequencePreallocationSize" value="50"/>
<config-property name="defaultNChar" value="false"/>
<config-property name="usesBatchWriting" value="true"/>
<connection-pooling use="none">
</connection-pooling>
<security-config use="none">
</security-config>
</connector-factory>
So I entered this and restarted the BPEL PM but still no luck,
Is anything else I will be looking in that file let me know -
ORA-28546: Connection initialization failed,probable Net 8 admin error
I am getting this error in calling an external procedure (dll file) from a stored procedure.
This was running fine earlier . It started causing problem after Database restart.
Please suggestcheck to make sure that your extproc_connection_data entry in your tnsnames.ora file is correctly setup for external procedures.
ORA-28546 connection initialization failed, probable Net8 admin error
Cause: A failure occurred during initialization of a network connection from the Oracle database server to a second process: The connection was completed but a disconnect occurred while trying to perform protocol-specific initialization, usually due to use of different network protocols by opposite sides of the connection. This usually is caused by incorrect Net8 administrative setup for database links or external procedure calls. The most frequent specific causes are:
Database link setup for an Oracle-to-Oracle connection instead connects to a Heterogeneous Services agent or an external procedure agent.
Database link setup for a Heterogeneous Services connection instead connects directly to an Oracle database server.
The extproc_connection_data definition in tnsnames.ora connects to an Oracle instance instead of an external procedure agent.
Connect data for a Heterogeneous Services database link, usually defined in tnsnames.ora, does not specify (HS=).
Connect data for an Oracle-to-Oracle database link, usually defined in tnsnames.ora, specifies (HS=).
Action: Check Net8 administration in the following ways:
When using TNSNAMES.ORA or an Oracle Names server, make sure that the connection from the ORACLE server uses the correct service name or SID.
Check LISTENER.ORA on the connection end point's host machine to assure that this service name or SID connects to the correct program.
Confirm in TNSNAMES.ORA or the equivalent service definition that service 'extproc_connection_data' does NOT contain (HS=), or that the service definition used by a Heterogeneous Services database link DOES contain (HS=). -

And the best thing? When I hit Caps Lock on my BT keyboard, it stops working and disconnect from laptop. I have to disconnect it first in bluetoothctl and connect it again!
I guess this should be first step in making it work.
My friend with other laptop and other keyboard has exactly same problems. Thanks to lack of documentation for Bluez it's hard to find out what's going on. Really - this is one of the things that pisses me off the most in Linux.
Last edited by Kotrfa (2014-11-13 08:03:51)Ok, solved by installing bluez4 from AUR and then use commands which I've found on wiki for BT keyboard here. And then added this to my autostarted applications:
if [[ `rfkill list bluetooth | grep Soft|awk '{print $3}i'` == 'no' ]]; then bluez-test-input connect 20:73:**:55:**:88; fi

What I have attempted:
- Attempted to connect to Shared Services, Workspace url's - YES
- Checked openLDAP & my Database is running - YES
- Added following to Configuration File :
SharedServicesLocation machinex 28080
AUTHENTICATIONMODULE CSS http://machinex:28080/interop/framework/getCSSConfigFile YES, but same error
- Changed essbase.bak to essbase.sec YES but same error
- netstat -an to check for 1423. Port 1423 is not listening, although ALL TCP Ports have been enabled. So YES but same error.
- Read Knowledgebase article # 954322.1 - the suggested things in there don't seem to apply to my case, unless I am missing something.
At this point does anybody have any suggestions ?An update: Just for kicks, I tried restarting Essbase using Start->Programs-EPMSystem->Essbase->EssbaseServer->Essbase.bat and apparently now Essbase is started.
EAS, Studio and Planning however are down.
Excerpt from the HyS9eas-sysout.log:

Stopping DAO factory!
HBR Configuration has not been initialized. Make sure you have logged in sucessfully and there are no exceptions in the HBR log file.
java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError
.... bunch of java code.
This is really strange. There is NOTHING that I changed, started or stopped which could have caused Essbase to start magically all of a sudden.
Any insights into the cause of all this ?
