[INQUIRY]: Using XML as source

Question

Hi ODI Peeps,
I am exploring the XML functionality of ODI and I am following this guide below.

After creating the XML dataserver, I tried the test connection and I am getting..
java.sql.SQLException: object name already exists: GEO_D_GEOGRAPHY_DIM in statement [create table GEO_D_GEOGRAPHY_DIM(GEOGRAPHY_DIMPK NUMERIC(10) NOT NULL, SNPSFILENAME VARCHAR(255) NULL, SNPSFILEPATH VARCHAR(255) NULL, SNPSLOADDATE VARCHAR(255) NULL)]
I tried searching for the GEO_D_GEOGRAPHY_DIM table but was not able to, can anyone let me know how to resolve this without changing the name of GEO_D_GEOGRAPHY_DIM?

ODI must have created the table already - I believe it will be within the ODI work schema.
You can use this SQL to find it:
select *
from all_objects
where object_type = 'TABLE'
and object_name = 'GEO_D_GEOGRAPHY_DIM';
You can add the following parameter to the XML driver URL:
--&dod=true--
This (drop on disconnect) drops the tables that ODI has created on disconnect.
Ignore the above - it's only useful if you're using an external db for storage which you aren't.
