Hi,
At first you have to upload the logo in the application server using transaction 'OAER'.
   1. Go to Transaction OAER,
   2. Give Class Name as PICTURES
   3. Class type as OT
   4. Object Key as the name of the Object u want to specify
   5. Upon execution you would be prompted to give the file path details. Just upload which ever logo u want to display
   6. Now you can use the same name in your ALV FM
In your ALV program, you need to have event for TOP_OF_PAGE, and also this works only in case of Grid not in ALV LIST.
Look at the sample code to display LOGO.

How to create a context menu in ALV table cell editor(Webdynpro abap )

Hello Experts,
I am having a problem in creating a context menu in a table cell editor in the ALV table output.I have assigned a 'lta' as the cell editor.But befor assigning the lta as cell editor I have assigned the menu to the lta.But when the view is rendered I can see the lta with the actioned assigned to it.But I cannot see the context menu.

Hi Prakash,
I have not come across this requirement till now to have context menu in a cell editor of alv.
Unfortunately the implementation of method SET_MENU of alv ui elements ( ex: cl_salv_wd_uie_text_view ) is not updating alv configurable table, instead it just stores in a global attribute as string. Hence has no effect on context menu.
If your user is very particular about this requirement of having context menu in cell editor, you can go for a normal table. Because, normal table's cell editor has the property to set the menuID as we do it for other ui elements.

from my understanding, it is possible to create a cell popin for a standard table.
but now i wonder whether is it possible to create a cell popin for an ALV table?

My question was about option Filter of ALV report.
May be somebody knows how I can receive Interfacecontroller
attributes: FILTER_VALUES. It should help to filter
table inside code( in my ONFUNCTION method).

[CS2-JS] Error when inserting some text in table cell via XMLElement

I have a very very strange InDesign behaviour when using XMLElement in a table Cell to insert a string.
For example (in a table that has an XML structure) :

I have a lot of other examples of that kind (not only failing on the last character). InDesign accepts (randomly, it seems) some strings and rejects some others, and no logical rule seems to emerge.

I disagree. If the table does not appear in the text frame, then it shouldn't be in the text frame object. If the table appeared as a child of the text frame when it does nto appear in the frame (when it might have moved to another text frame in the story), it would be even more confusing.
This points out the danger of relying on the text frame as the container--instead, use the parent story of the text frame, which will contain all of the text in the story, regardless of whether it's visible or not.

Setting/Getting an Insertion Point in a Table Cell

I'm iterating through the cells in a table doing a series of ITableCommands::SetCellText() calls. This correctly writes to the cells, but I also need to set the insertion point to the first character of the cell somehow. I've got the GridAddress -- is there any way to get the selection from that? (I was able to select the entire cell, but I want to get the text selection from it. Does anybody know how? Thanks.

Hi Alagappan ,
In your view layout you take table UI element and then you bind it with some context nodes.
The attributes of your nodes comes as a field.
Now in these fields you can set various properties and image is one of them.
Go to ->
1. View Layout -> Right Click on ROOTUIELEMENTCONTAINER -> INSERT ELEMENT -> TABLE
2. Right click on table -> Create Binding.
Here you have to bind it with the appropriate context node.
You will get two properties here
a- Standard Cell Editor :- ( make it image )
b- Standard properties :- ( If required set image properties ).
3. If you want put image from out side then import it as a mime object and set the source of your table field ( used as a image )

I'm trying to insert a photo as a logo in ALV report. I've figured out that in SAP, we have 2 function to generate an ALV report: REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY and REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY.
REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY can support display options better than REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY, thus we can use REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY to display company's logo. It's ok when we display the report on computer screen, but the problem is that when we print the ALV report, it always converts ALV to the form of LIST_DISPLAY, instead of GRID_DISPLAY. Thus, the logo is not printed!!!
Are there an solution that help me have the logo printed along with the report?.

I am afraid that printing logos via ALV is not possible, since the output stream
sent to the printer is pure text.

How do I insert the tab character in a table cell in Pages 5.2?

I'm typing text in a table cell. I need to insert a tab in the text. I've tried all of the modifier keys with the tab. I read somewhere it would be CTRL>TAB, like Word, but that navigates to the Inspector.

You will need to add a Unicode keyboard. System Preferences > Keyboard > Input Sources. Click the + button in the lower left. Scroll all the way to the end and select Others > Unicode Hex Input. Select and Add this. Check the box that says Show input menu in menu bar. Exit System Preferences.
From the Finder menu, select your recent Unicode Hex Input source (it is a black box with white U+ in it). Now, position your cursor in your table cell between the characters where you want to insert a tab character. Press and hold your option key, then type 0009 (zeroes). This is the Unicode sequence for the tab control character. Space will open in your text. Tabs in table cells survive PDF export. The tab mark will not appear with Show invisibles enabled.
Switch back to your normal country input source in that Finder input source menu.

I have this question too. It is very important for me to insert pictures into tables in order to complete my lab reports. This feature needs to be added; the software is useless without it. It is things like this that make me regret Apple purchases.
