Insert / Retrieve Unicode for XMLType

Question

Hi,
I have a problem inserting unicode characters (chinese, japanese, korean, etc) into an XMLType column.
I am currently using the Spring Framework's (JDBCTemplate) to perform all my SQL inserts / queries.
The code snipplet that I used for inserting the XML is shown below.
String sql = "INSERT INTO ComplexProductDesc (ComplexProductDescId, "

OracleLobHandler lobHandler = new OracleLobHandler();
lobHandler.setNativeJdbcExtractor(new CommonsDbcpNativeJdbcExtractor());

If you are new to JSPs you shouldn't be writing Java code at all, let alone JDBC. Any book or any person who claims differently is a fool.
If you have JSPs with JDBC then you might as well have PHP, there's just no point at all in it. If you are new to JDBC then work on some simple, stand-alone programs first. Then learn JSP/Servlets and go read Balus's blog which he linked to a few times now I think for you.
And please. Stop using ... and the random capitalization, it really annoys people.
This is like the fourth or fifth time you've been told most of it. If you don't understand a post do some research and/or ask a question, don't just continue on a bad path.
