Insert script into PDF

Hi,
I' m developing a form that, when submitted, generate (using
cfdocument) a PDF with the content of form fields and send it as
attachment to an email that is sent to a specific mail adress.
Now, my questions are:
- there is a way to disable cut and paste on that generated
PDF using only coldfusion?
- there is a way to insert into generated PDF a script for
the expiration of the document itself?

What you are describing should not be caused by the script, but the

Insert Slider into pdf forms

I am new to building forms using Adobe and have limited programming experience. I would like to insert several sliders into a pdf form that can be used to quantify things like symptom severity or strength of agreement and have the slider output a value that corresponds to where the slider is on the scale. Any help would be much appreciated.

It's possible to approximate this type of control using a button and some more advanced scripting. I will usually include a hidden (or visible) text field to provide a means to include a value. But something that you can do yourself is use multiple radio buttons, to create a 0-10 scale for example.

Cannot insert pages into PDFs after signed with a digital signature in adobe 9

Is there any workaround that allows me to insert additional pages into a SIGNED pdf?
Background:
Author of a form create a form that needs multiple signatures and pages appended and converts to PDF for signing. Person 1 signs it, and sends it to person 2. Person 2 needs to include additional documentation and inserts the pages before signing.
In the new version, I noticed that it changes the document security which may prevent the insert after you sign it. How do I disable this?

You may not like the answer, but it cannot be disabled. In previous versions, when you added a page it invalidated the signature. Starting with Acrobat 9, once the PDF file is signed you can no longer make changes that effect the content of the core PDF. The change was made to protect the integrity of the signature. You can still add comments, but (without getting too geeky) comments are not part of the core PDF like pages are, they live in a separate level. Also, you can still add form data, but like comments, what you type into a form field is not part of the core PDF.
The bottom line is, we made the change to protect the integrity of the signture, and the signature protects the integrity of the document. Thus, changes to the document are no longer allowed in signed files.

Dynamically insert data into PDF possible?

This is the scenario and I am hoping someone can advise whether it is possible.
We want to create a PDF fillable form. However there are a few fields that we want to be read only but to injected before the user downloads the PDF.
e.g.
There is a PDF form called contact details. Only registered users can download this form. So what we are trying to achieve here is when the user logs on and downloads this PDF, server side we want to inject their details into this form so that it is read only.
In the lifestyle IDE there is a XML tab where I can see it drives the PDF.
Is there like a tool of some sort where I can dynamically update the XML source and regenerate the PDF?

My req is
Step 1:- invoke a webservice call and get the data from a website and store it into a table in xml format(CLOB column in a table)
Step 2 :- Pick the xml data from table inserted by step1 and derive all the element values from xml data usning some xml functions
2.1 go to configuration table(in this table we are storing the table name for each type of webservice call) and get the destination table name.
2.3 insert the data into destination table.
so our interface process is designed to serve for multiple interface webservice calls.it is not for a particular data.
so in future if someone else want to download some other data then they need to add the configuration data into config tables and should be able to achieve the data download into tables.
so step 1 and step 2 should be a coomon packages.
i am involved in 2nd package where pick the xml data and insert into a table(destination table form config tablke)

Inserting script into iWeb

Anyone know how I can insert a javascript command into my iWeb page? My teamspeak provider gives me a script,but I'm not sure how to insert it.

So it sounds like this code snippet will display something on the page. In that case, you will need to follow the "standard" steps to add external HTML code into your page. Here is a thread where I have gone through the process in steps. The thread is actually about adding an ad banner, but the steps and principles are the same: Reserve space on the page in iWeb, then find the space in the published HTML file and replace it with your code. Insert image into PDF comes up blank

When Adding a logo to a PDF using Acrobat 11 it either inserts and displays as blank or throws up the error message "insufficient data for an image".
Any ideas?

Considering this error message, I would recommend you to try reducing the zoom factor or go to Edit> Preferences> Page Display> Zoom and choose 'Fit page' option or
you can save the PDF file as Optimized PDF by going to Save as Other> Optimized PDF or Reduced Size PDF

Preview Won't Insert Pages Into .PDF from File

Preview - Edit - Insert - Page from File doesn't work since upgrading to Yosemite. Dragging and dropping the .pdf pages from one Preview window to the document in another Preview windows does not work either. It appears that the command is executed (dragging and dropping shows the green circle with the white plus when I drop) but nothing happens.
In the end I just need to add four .pdf pages from one document to an existing .pdf document. This function worked fine and I became accustomed to easily adding/deleting/organizing pages in .pdf documents using Preview with Mavericks. I have restarted and shut down the computer multiple times including opening and closing preview and the documents I'm using. Any thoughts?

Works for me.
Open a PDF File
Navigate to where want a page inserted.
Go to Edit ===> Insert ===> From Scanner or Page from File or Blank Page
Preview will insert page below the page.
It is not as good a tool as some other software for fiddling with PDFs but it works.

Inserting text into PDFs in Preview.

When editing a PDF in preview, I create a text box where I want to put text but i can only have one font or, more importantly, one font style (bold, italics etc) within that text box. How can i make just several words italics??

Apparently, the only way I have found to mix font styles in Preview is to create two text boxes and manually align them for appearance. You can change font color from the Preview edit sub-toolbar or the font dialog box.

Insert script into html file

Hello,
I am using jdev 10.1.3. In my Project, I cannot add script to html file, because there is not any icon on the component paletta>html common.
Also there is not any jsp page on the paletta too.
Do you know anything about this issue? Am I change jdev release or is there anything that I can do on this release?

Missing charasters in CZ Script while converting into PDF

Hi Guru's,
I developed one script in Czech Language (CS) for delivery, and print preview is perfectly fine and when i try to convert the script into PDF using 'RSTXPDFT4' executable program, some characters in script is missing and some characters are printing like some other harvesters, if any one have same experience or have any solution can you please share with me.

Hi,
For PDF conversion of Latin-2 characters, you need to follow the steps of SAP note #141343. The PDF must be created via a Latin-2 device type. e.g. I2HP4 or I2SWIN.
True type fonts (e.g the Windows true type fonts Courier New, Arial and Times New Roman) which contain these Latin-2 characters must be uploaded under font families ZCOUR_I2, ZHELV_I2 and ZTIME_I2.
The language key of the form must be a Latin-2 language like CZ.

Runtime error while trying to convert script to pdf and sending in mail

I m trying to convert the standard script into pdf using convert_otf fm and trying to send it as an attachment using 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1'.
I m using fm 'SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME' to get the function module name.
But i m getting a runtime error while executing the program..

Insert Text in PDF files?

Prior to reformating my computer, I was able to insert text into pdf files.
Now I am not seeing the instert text option, can you assist.

Comment Box far top right;
When choosing Text, I receive the "Failed to load Application resource
(internal Error).
I have looked for updates, none available. I have also clicked on repair
installation.
What should I do next?
