Inserting New Region between Logo and Breadcrumb Region

Is it possible to insert a new region between Logo and Breadcrumb Region?
I have to rebuild a existing webpage. There the Main Menu is shown between the Logo and the breadcrumb region.

Sure you just need to move one of the #REGION_POSTION_N# substitution tags there in the page template.

Likely either the batch of media is defective, or the drive itself is not working.
Swap for different media; for a different batch from a different vendor, and also try +R media.
The slot-loading drives on various Mac systems can and variously do fail. If different media doesn't work, then you probably have a failed drive.
If your Mac is of same the vintage as OS X v10.4 that's listed in your footer and you're not in a position to replace or repair the optical drive in your Mac, then you might consider using an external USB CD/DVD device. If you don't have another Mac around to perform the recording on, that is.

Logos XT is a networking middle-layer maintained by the LabVIEW Network Technologies and Security group. Logos XT provides a thin layer on top of TCP/IP to simplify some common network tasks.
The underlying foundation for NI networking is called Logos.
I believe that the basic idea is Logos is what is going on behind the scenes at the base level and Logos XT lets you build your own networking protocols on top of Logos. Logos XT would be used if you want to make your own networking protocol instead of using TCP/IP or UDP.

How to insert new records in Master and detail Forms.

Hi,
I am having trouble inserting values in both master and detail view at the same time. The scenarios is I have a Dept Table (View Object-VO1) and Employee Table(View Object -VO2) both linked with a foreign key, as per Default HR schema in Oracle DB XE.
Now I want to insert new record in both Dept(VO1) and EMP(VO2) table via a New page say ( Page2 ). There is a button on Page1 with button INSERT .I can only drag-drop "CreateInsert" operation on that button for VO1 or VO2. So only text box for Dept records are enable to insert data but not Emp records. Is there a way I can insert data in both the tables at the sametime??

You can programmatically call both createInsert Operations,
Add to your pageDef both CreateInsert Operations.
Create a button tha will call insert method from Master (VO1) and then call insert method for Detail (VO2)
Here is an Example code of calling the operations:
DCBindingContainer dcb = ADFUtils.getDCBindingContainer(); //you need ADFUtils.java and JSFUtils.java classes. You can find them in the sample applications in your JDeveloper.
OperationBinding oper = dcb.getOperationBinding("CreateInsertVO1");
oper.execute();
-----------------NOTE: at this point you should have set values that compine the ViewLink on the master in order the detail will know where to link the new record there are many ways to do it.
As an approach try to overrdi the create Method on the in the ViewRowImpl of your Master vo (VO1)
e.g.
@Override
protected void create(AttributeList attributeList) {
//before
attributeList.setAttribute("NameOfAttribute", valueHere);
super.create(attributeList);
After that you should call the operation for your detail VO2
e.g.
DCBindingContainer dcb = ADFUtils.getDCBindingContainer();
OperationBinding oper = dcb.getOperationBinding("CreateInsertVO2");
oper.execute();
The detail record will now have the values from your master automatically.

Insert static picture between thumbnails and sliding pictures

Hello everybody,
I try to create a fullscreen slideshow behind a static picture with transparent areas in muse ... unsuccessfully!
In the fullscreen background should be the changing pictures.
Over these sliding pictures, one static picture with transparent areas, fullscreen (important!), so that you can see parts of slideshow.
And in the foreground has to be the thumbnails and buttons trigger to control slideshow.
How can I insert a static picture between thumbnails and sliding pictures?

Artifacts between Logo and Vertical Menu Bar

Artifact #1: a light grey dot at the joint between the logo and the vertical menu bar, on the right hand side.
Artifact #2: on mouse over 'Home' - the top menu item of the vertical menu bar - there appears a light-colored, 1-pixel separation between the logo and the vertical menu bar.
The logo is a standard gif and the vertical menu bar is a standard spry menu bar, I am puzzled.
Anyone has a solution?

When searching two word sites (i.e.router bit)page 2 inserts special character(+) between words and stops search asking if I spelled incorectly

When I'm on Firefox and enter search terms that have two words separated by a space such as "Harbor Freight" or "router bit"'if I advance to the second page a (+) sign is inserted between the words and the search stops and I'm asked to check my spelling. This does not happen if I am using Int.Expl.

I followed your instructions and installed Developer Suite 10G on Windows Vista Home Premium edition. I have Oracle 11G DB running on the same machine.
Two points, Steve:
1. When I tried to set the maximum virtual memory to 6110 an error message displayed from Windows and told me that I can't set the maximum virtual memory to more than 4096. I set it to 4090 and it worked and I got nothing wrong during the installation process.
2. After installing JInitiator and disabling Java on Firefox I called the http://127.0.0.1:8889/forms/frmservlet page and everything seemed to be OK because the Oracle Forms Services logo appeared and then a successful installation message appeared , but as I clicked (ok) to continue a gray screen appeared inside the browser (like the one displayed when you try to run a Java applet inside a browser) and then I wait to death till something appears but sadly nothing. I just get a blank gray screen inside my Firefox browser.
Do you have any idea what to do to solve the problem?

Cycle Between Logo and Pascode

Recently, I've been having a problem with my 4th generation iPod touch running 4.2.1. Every time the battery dies (and occasianly w/o this happening) and I attempt to use it after or during charging, it will go to the logo screen, stay there for about a minute, go to the passcode screen, stay for about a minute, and repeat ad infinitum. I've tried to stop this cycle by holding down the power and home buttons, which turns it off for a few seconds before turning on to the logo, where it all happens again. Any idea what's going on?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

ICloud not syncing new events between iMac and ipad2

I have the same issue with my New Ipad. My iPhone 4S updates to iCloud and I can even see the documents in
settings-> iCloud -> Storage and backup -> manage storage -> Pages on my ipad, but pages won't sync with the documents on iCloud.
I have done everything also, deleted all iWork apps, restored ipad, renamed documents on iCloud, deleted documents and uploaded to iCloud and nothing works. Use iCloud is on in all app settings and documents and data is on in iCloud settings.
Have not yet found any solution, please help, it is very frustrating to have to copy to Dropbox every time I make changes...

How to insert interstitial video between menu and track?

I've been making simple menus in DVD Studio Pro, but I'm trying to make a Menu for someone who wants a short video to play before the Menu loads (on start up) and then a short video to play after you make a Menu selection (but before it actually plays that selection). I don't have the first idea how to do that. Can anyone help? Thanks so much!

First play: Track 1
End jump track 1: Main menu
Main menu has, lets say, 3 buttons representing 3 different videos.
Track 1: Intro video
Track 2: The video to play before each of the 3 other videos.
Track 3: Video/button 1
Track 4: Video/button 2
Trach 5: Video/button 3
Create 3 Stories in track 2, each with a different end jump.
Story 1: End jump track 3
Story 2: End jump track 4
Story 3: End jump track 5
Link stories to buttons and you should be home free.

The space is caused by the default margin in your H1 tag. As such, you need to define a style for H1:

You can add padding to move the H1 away from the edges of the surrounding DIV.
EDIT:// An after thought. If you are "Playing with fluid layouts", you might want to consider not using heights and/or set the heights/widths in % values.

Unfortunately, I don't think it is possible to add columns to this particular window. I had a requirement to do this a while back in SBO 2005A SP1 and I ended up designing my own pick and pack window.

1. Open your schema,
2. In first colume "Line" select line where you want to add new line,
3. Replace first value in the column field (that indicates number of line) with character I (means insert),
4. Press enter
The line will be added. The same way you can add lines to PCR.
To delete use character D.

work, then run it and see.The answer was no. It's one of the fundamental properties of files that you cannot insert content in the middle, just at the end. To insert content you first have to make room for it. In this respect a file works like an array and not like a linked list.

Regional Settings differences between 2008 and 2012

Can anyone explain why some of the regional setting details have changed with Win 2012?
Example: Dutch (Belgium) - nl-BE
The 'Digital Grouping Symbol' has changed from a DOT to a WHITESPACE.
2008 - €1.000,00 whereas 2012 - €1 000,00
If the settings are changed on the servers will they persist after OS updates etc?

I see no reference in the KB article to modifications for the CET timezone nor any reference to the resolution of culture format info discrepancies.
A further issue is that the active regional settings on our PRD servers will be set to United States and it would appear that any modification to the Belgium locales (i.e. nl-BE, fr-BE) are not persisted once you switch to United States as the
active setting.
The knock on effect of this is that for our PRD web-applications (which are active across many regions), we have to write code to override the OS information. .NET uses the OS info to populate its Culture information.
Could you confirm if the differences between 2008 and 2012 are the result of a bug or are the changes planned? Based on communication with some of our customers in Belgium, they are of the opinion that the 2008 (and Win 2003) settings are per their expectations.
I really do not what to have to handle these situations across our application landscape and am sure that other people with globalized applications will also hit problems.
