Inserting Tabs in the webtemplate

Hi, People.
I'm trying to insert the tab pages in to the webtemplate like shown inthe documetation example described following by this link

but actually I don't get the desired result, I thought may because of some wrong use of goto_tab function , but actually I have no idea where axactly . Can anyone axplain the meaning of all parameters in call
SAPBWOpenURL(SAP_BW_URL_Get()'&item=TAB*&multi=X&hidden=X&cmd_1=item%3d'tabname+'*%26hidden%3d %26multi%3dX'); or may be there is some problem with this call?..

That is right it's an addition to the finder with different graphics and so it's not a modification to the standard window. What I like is a basic Finder window with just added tabs.

Yes, I do think I tried them all and I still think they all miss the simplicity and elegance of the Finder windows. But if you know a good alternative (not pathfinder) I really would like that.

You are right. I do totally agree on that. But I rather work with the standard Finder window/info window , etc.

That is exactly my point you end up using them side by side. Two different windows with things on different places. But I think on this point you really did not try to see what I was talking about.

Problem inserting tabs in a multi-column layout

Hello everybody,
I've created a three-column document and I want to insert a right-tab at the right edge of each column. While this is easy in colums 1 and 3, there is no way that Pages will let me insert tabs in the central column. Clicking on the ruler produces no results, and in the inspector the space for entering a numeric value for the tabs is greyed out (i.e. non-editable).
If some of you has experienced any of this before, I'd be curious to know; and if you found a solution, then I'd truly appreciate it if you could share it.

Right after posting the message I kept trying, and I've been able to insert the tab that I wanted; to be honest, I don't reckon how I did it, but I believe I deleted all other tabs.
Anyway, the issue still exists, as you can see in the screenshot below. The blocked text will not accept any more tabs via the inspector The +/- signs are inactive), and clicking on the ruler doesn't help either.
As I said, maybe the way around this problem is to delete all tabs before creating any new ones for this particular column, but that doesn't look like a very intuitive was of proceeding in Pages (which I use precisely because I hate Word's bloated features).

How can I insert an existing ApDiv into a tab in the Spry Tabbed Panel?

I have 5 of them all containing nested Apdiv within nested ApDivs (a long storie ) that I would like to insert into 5 tabs in the Spry Tabbed Panel.
Please help.

Inserting a tab in the tabstrip in web ui

Hi Experts,
I would like to insert a new tab in the create quotation view in CRM 7.0 UI. There is green config button per line item of the create qoutation view. If we click on the config button then a standard table view is loaded in the bottom portion of the screen . In standard two tabs are already there, one is for Header and other is for the Item. Now we are going to insert our custom tab, i,e 'discount..
To implement this we have done several changes . Please see below.
1.     IUICITEMD component has been enhanced .
2.     u2018IUICITEMD/ItemDetailVSu2019 view has been enhanced to incorporate the tabular link. Logic is given below.
u201C/NPC/IUICITEMD/Discountsu201D new custom view has been created with the following fields.
a.Discount attributes
b.Product id
c. Discount product description
View /NPC/IUICITEMD/Discounts view has been added to the viewArea MainVA which has already been embedded in the ViewSet IUICITEMD/ItemDetailVS . u201CIUICITEMD/ItemDetailVSu201D this view set is further assigned outbound plug to MainWindow (default) ..
3.     NavigationalLink DISCOUNT_NAV has been created for navigating from Mainwindow    to inbound plug of our custom table view. IF Discount tab link is clicked then one outbound plug u201COP_DISCOUNTu201D would be called which in turn call the navigational link for displaying our custom viewu2026

Where is the structure option under the insert tab in Dreamweaver?

I was watching the tutorial of Mike Powers for the Bayside Website and he continually uses the structure option under the insert tab. I can not find where this is at in all of Dreamweaver. Does anyone know where this is at?

Cannot find "Structure" menu under the Insert tab. Need it to insert a header

I just downloaded a trial version of DW CS6 and am following the on-line tutorial, but cannot find the "Structure" option under the "Insert" tab when creating an HTML document. Where di it go?

I think the confusion here is you appear to be following along some resource for DWCC while using DWCS6.
There are many changes between DWCS6 and DWCC. Actually, there are quite a few changes between DWCS6 Disk version and DWCS6 Cloud version with even more between both of those and DWCC (and now DWCC 2014).
With the speed that Adobe applications are changing with the Creative Cloud delivery system, you really must make sure you are using the correct resource version for your program version.

How can I distinguish multiple tabs of the same site in the tab bar?

I've been following some massive open online courses (MOOCs) and its been necessary to have several tabs open at the same time for the same site. I would like to be able to distinguish these tabs by being able to put a tag instead of the site url ('instructions', 'template', 'code', 'scratch', 'docs' etc. etc) and/or a colour code.
Does anyone know if and how this can be done?

This one colors tabs, but the author warns that it doesn't work with other tab-related extensions, so you probably need to keep searching for one that does everything you want:

If you don't find a do-it-all extension, you can modify the tab titles with a userscript that is specific to that website. This is because the tab displays the text designated in the page as its title.
You either could "hard code" the list of words for each of the pages, or you could have a script extract information from the page, for example, the first main heading, or some other predictable bit of data. The script then would insert your preferred wording as the title of the page and Firefox will show that on the tab.
To see how that appears, so you know whether it would be useful, you could do this experiment:
On a web page that has useless tab text, open the Web Console using command+alt+k (Windows: Ctrl+Shift+k). In the line at the bottom next to the caret, paste the following code and press Enter:
document.title="Magic!";
If you decide you want a script written for this, you could try the request forum on userscripts''.''org:
[http://userscripts.org/forums/2 Ideas and script requests - Userscripts.org]
Although some people offer small payments, that usually isn't necessary to motivate people to help.

How can I actually open multiple tabs of the same site, instead of performing the new "switch to tab" action?

Can't find "structure" on drop-down menu on insert tab (CS6).

One of your tutorials (http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/first_website_pt2.html) says "
The Structure category contains all the grouping and structural elements necessary to build the framework for a web page. Click the first option, Div (see Figure 7).
But there is no Structure category, nor is there a header element anywhere to be found. (Is "head" the same as "header"? How is a new user to know?)
On forums I was told to update DW and I did., but the About still says 12.0 Build 5861. But your Help>Update tells me I have the latest version, even if it's the same one I had before which was old. I'm not sure how to proceed on this one.

The article refers to the 'Structure' tab of the Insert Menu in DW CC and is related to HTML5 elements.
In DW CS6 version 12.2 Build 6006, you will find the elements in the 'Layout' tab

ITunes could not copy "insert song" to the iphone "insert name of iphone" because the file could not be read

It's about time i posted something about my problem because i've searched everywhere and I did not get the answer i wanted.
When i try to put a song (Drag and Drop) from my Library to my Iphone, the message "iTunes could not copy "insert song" to the iphone "insert name of iphone" because the file could not be read" shows up. I have no idea how to fix this, I haven't seen apple answer to a single one of these threads either.
I've only seen users try to answer this question.
Anyways, when i put the songs on my Iphone, it is also grayed out. There is also a dotted circle (symbol) beside the checkmark of the song.
I've tried creating a AAC version of all the songs already. No luck

Two possibilities come to mind.
Check your source hard drive for errors, right-click on the drive holding the library, click Properties, tools, check for errors, scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors...
Or...
Repair Security Permissions
Right-click on your main iTunes folder and click Properties, then go to the Security tab and click Advanced. If necessary grant your account and SYSTEM full control of this folder, subfolders and files, then tick the option to replace permissions on child objects which will repair permissions throughout the library. This is the XP dialog but Windows 7 shouldn't be too different.
If it won't let you change the permissions use the Owner tab to take ownership from an account with administrator privileges.

Allow operator to insert tabs in string control

I'm trying to allow an operator to insert tabs in a string control with the keyboards tab button. Nothing happens when the tab button is pushed. I tried Skipping the Control in Key Navigation but that didn't work. This is LV 6.1.

6.1 does not have filter events (where you can discard the tab click), but you can use the event structure with the key down event and if you detect that the tab was clicked you can add a tab to the string programmatically and then use the Key Focus property to set the focus back to the string. I think you might be able to play with the text properties to get the cusor to the end.
Of course, you can also use another key and simply tell the operators not to click tab, but that would make for an ackward user experience.

PSCD custom Tabs u2013 need to hide a Tab on the CAA1, CAA2, CAA3 transactions

We are using Business Data Toolset (BDT) (transaction CAWM) for these changes.
We are using PSCD for one department and created a Tab for the custom data screens and it works just fine.
Now we need to setup a 2nd department to use PSCD and we want to create a 2nd Tab for the custom data screens for this department. This I have been able to do.
However we want the department to see only their custom Tab Not the other departments. I have not been able to figure out how to hide a Tab.
I can not find any documentation on how to do this.

Your idea sounds do-able.
For any FP object that you want to extend, you would create a "Shortcut Menu Activation?" Event. Within the event, you can retrieve a MenuRef.
Using the Menu Palette, you use the Insert Menu Items function, each item has a displayed name and a tag.
You then add a Shortcut Menu Selection (User) Event for the FP object to handle the selection made by the user. The ItemTags that you assign in the are available to use as a case selector. Your example would simply set the Tab control's index value to switch to the panel you want.
I built a fancy tree control (as an XControl) a few years ago for an internal tool that presented a view of files on disk and the right-click menu was context sensitive the the extension of the filename selected. Look in the Facade and the FileView Set Context Menu.vi for the guts of what I did.
I always deleted the tree menu choices and then added my own. If you don't delete the items, then your options are appended to the end.

How to add custom button to Insert tab?

I want to add my own button to the Insert tab. This is the
tab where there are buttons like h1, h2, ul, ol etc.
I often need the code tag, but this tag is not avaible in the
Insert tab. So how to add a custom?

The information on the Sun website wasn't too helpful when dealing with a tabbed pane. Maybe I can get the solution I want here.
First of all, how would you deal with making use of the JTabbedPane class and the tabs you want to use in them? In short, how do you make each tab do its function on click? Second, what is the best method of changing the objects within the GUi frame using the tabs?
Using a GUI builder(either NetBeans, Eclipse's own, or Jigloo), I assumed the best action was to construct panels before hand in seperate classes, and have the individually created panels imported and called within the frame on initialization or on the click of a tab. As much as I'd like to think that is it, there could be an easier way I don't know of. Or I could be taking the wrong approach altogether.
