Install OpenSSH using Sun SSH

Hi.
I have been asked to determine whether the following is possible:
1) Remote connect to a Solaris 10 box using Sun SSH 1.1.3
2) Install OpenSSH 5.9 on the Solaris 10 box
3) Connect to the box using OpenSSH
4) Uninstall Sun SSH 1.1.3
So before I start....
Does anyone know if this is (im)possible ?
Does anyone think that this is (im)possible ?
I have found some info. about installing two different versions of
OpenSSH on the one box.
Thanks,
Brett Morgan

Thanks for all your help.
It is a requirement for a vendor's software.
I do not know why but it may be because of the usage of the svcadm interface for Solaris 10 SunSSH.
Their software may expect scripts in /etc/init.d, files /etc/hosts.allow, /etc/hosts.deny etc.
Incidentially how do you use svcadm to allow/deny hosts that can/cannot ssh (SunSSH) connect ?
I know that SunSSH is supposed to "respect" the files /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny which I think means read them if they are there ?
Does the SunSSH sshd need to be restarted to pick up changes to /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny ?
Can you use svcadm and have no /etc/hosts.allow or /etc/hosts.deny ? (but for SunSSH only)
I have got the error "ssh_exchange_identification" connecting to the OpenSSH sshd using port 8082 which I am hoping is an /etc/hosts.allow or /etc/hosts.deny issue so I shall create these files for OpenSSH sshd.
So I am curious how SunSSH sshd handles host allow/deny.
Does SunSSH use tcp_wrappers ?
If not, I need to install tcp_wrappers for OpenSSH.
Could the installation of tcp_wrappers break SunSSH ?
I shall have at look at the Solaris 10 SystemAdministration Guide: Security Services doco.
Thanks again for all your help.

  • Help!! How to install and use Sun ONE Directory Server Resource Kit 5.2

    Hi ! Friend:
    I have some problem on install and use Sun ONE Directory Server Resource Kit 5.2, when I execute "java DSRK", afterwards something like this : com.iplanet.install.until.wbResource::gerstring:resource bundle"locale.resources.S1DSRKResource" not found appeared in the window ,that's why?
    Meanwhile ,can you give some data about it on how to use it ?
    Thank you !

    You should be aware of the following characteristics of your directory when using this tool:
    Size and number of entries.
    Directory structure and access permissions.
    Virtual attributes, class of service, and indexing.
    Usage, types of access, and access patterns.
    Post your error messages completely.

  • How do I use Sun Web Server 7.0u1 reverse proxy to change public URLs?

    Some of our installations use the Sun Web Server 7.0 (update 1, usually)
    for hosting some of the public resource and reverse-proxying other parts
    of the URI namespace from other backend servers (content, application
    and other types of servers).
    So far every type of backend server served a unique part of the namespace
    and there was no collision of names, and the backend resources were
    published in a one-to-one manner. That is, a backend resource like, say,
    http://appserver:8080/content/page.html would be published in the internet
    as http://www.publicsite.com/content/page.html
    I was recently asked to research whether we can rename some parts of
    the public URI namespace, to publish some or all resources as, say,
    http://www.publicsite.com/data/page.html while using the same backend
    resources.
    Another quest, possibly related in solution, was to make a tidy url for the
    first page the user opens of the site. That is, in the current solution when
    a visitor types the url "www.publicsite.com" in his or her browser, our web
    server returns an HTTP-302 redirect to the actual first page URL, so the
    browser sends a second request (and changes the URL in its location bar).
    One customer said that it is not "tidy". They don't want the URL to change
    right upon first rendering the page. They want the root page to be rendered
    instantly i the first HTTP request.
    So far I found that I can't solve these problems. I believe these problems
    share a solution because it relies on ability to control the actual URI strings
    requested by Sun Web Server from backend servers.
    Some details follow, now:
    It seems that the reverse proxy (Service fn="service-passthrough") takes
    only the $uri value which was originally requested by the browser. I didn't
    yet manage to override this value while processing a request, not even if
    I "restart" a request. Turning the error log up to "finest" I see that even
    when making the "service-passthrough" operation, the Sun Web Server
    still remembers that the request was for "/test" (in my test case below);
    it does indeed ask the backend server for an URI "/test" and that fails.
    [04/Mar/2009:21:45:34] finest (25095) www.publicsite.com: for host xx.xx.xx.83

    # this causes /content/* to be taken from another (backend) server
    NameTrans fn="assign-name" from="/content" name="content-test" nostat="/content"
    # this causes requests to site root to be HTTP-redirected to a certain page URI
    <If $uri =~ '^/$'>

    </If>
    <Object name="content-test">
    ### This maps http://public/content/* to http://10.16.2.127:8080/content/*
    ### Somehow the desired solution should instead map http://public/data/* to http://10.16.2.127:8080/content/*

        Service fn="set-variable" set-srvhdrs="host=www.publicsite.com:80"
    </Object>
    I have also tried "restart"ing the request like this:
        NameTrans fn="restart" uri="/data"or desperately trying to set the new request uri like this:
        Service fn="set-variable"  uri="/magnoliaPublic/Main.html"Thanks for any ideas (including a statement whether this can be done at all
    in some version of Sun Web Server 7.0 or its opensourced siblings) ;)
    //Jim

    Some of our installations use the Sun Web Server 7.0 (update 1, usually)please plan on installing the latest service pack - 7.0 Update 4. these updates addresses potentially critical bug fixes.
    I was recently asked to research whether we can rename some parts of
    the public URI namespace, to publish some or all resources as, say,
    http://www.publicsite.com/data/page.html while using the same backend
    resources.> now, if all the resources are under say /data, then how will you know which pages need to be sent to which back end resources. i guess, you probably meant to check for /data/page.html should go to <back-end>/content/page.html
    yes, you could do something like
    - edit your corresponding obj.conf (<hostname>-obj.conf or obj.conf depending on your configuration)
    <Object name=¨default¨>
    <If $uri = ¨/page/¨>
    #move this nametrans SAF (for map directive - which is for reverse proxy within <if> clause)
    NameTrans.. fn=map
    </If
    </Object>
    and you could do https-<hostname>/bin/reconfig (dynamic reconfiguration) to check out if this is what you wanted. also, you might want to move config/server.xml <log-level> to finest and do your configuration . this way, you would get enough information on what is going on within your server logs.
    finally,when you are satisfied, you might have to run the following command to make your manual change into admin config repository.
    <install-root>/bin/wadm pull-config user=admin config=<hostname> <hostname>
    <install-root>/bin/wadm deploy-config --user=admin <hostname>
    you might want to check out this for more info on how you could use <if> else condition to handle your requirement.
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-6599/gdaer?a=view
    finally, you might want to refer to this doc - which explains on ws7 request processing overview. this should provide you with some pointers as to what these different directives mean
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-6599/gbysz?a=view
    >
    One customer said that it is not "tidy". They don't want the URL to change
    right upon first rendering the page. They want the root page to be rendered
    instantly i the first HTTP request.
    please check out the rewrite / restart SAF. this should help you.
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-6599/gdada?a=view
    pl. understand that - like with more web servers - ordering of directives is very important within obj.conf. so, you might want to make sure that you verify the obj.conf directive ordering is what you want it to do..
    It seems that the reverse proxy (Service fn="service-passthrough") takes
    only the $uri value which was originally requested by the browser. I didn't
    yet manage to override this value while processing a request, not even if
    I "restart" a request. Turning the error log up to "finest" I see that even

    still remembers that the request was for "/test" (in my test case below);
    it does indeed ask the backend server for an URI "/test" and that fails.
    now, you are in the totally wrong direction. web server 7 includes a highly integrated reverse proxy solution compared to 6.1. unlike 6.1, you don´t have to download a separate plugin . however, you will need to manually migrate your 6.1 based reverse proxy settings into 7.0. please check out this blog link on how to set up a reverse proxy
    http://blogs.sun.com/amit/entry/setting_up_a_reverse_proxy
    feel free to post to us if you need any futher help
    you are probably better off - starting fresh
    - install ws7u4
    - use gui or CLI to create a reverse proxy and map one on one - say content
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-6601/create-reverse-proxy-1?a=view
    if you don´t plan on using ws7 integrated web container (ability to process jsp/servlet), then you could disable java support as well. this should reduce your server memory footprint
    <install-root>/bin/wadm disable-java user=admin config=<hostname>
    <install-root>/bin/wadm create-reverse-proxy user=admin uri-prefix=/content server=<http://your back end server/ config=<hostname> --vs=<hostname>
    <install-root>/bin/wadm deploy-config --user=admin <hostname>
    now, you can check out the regular express processing and <if> syntax from our docs and try it out within <https-<hostname>/config/<hostname>-obj.conf> file and restart the server. pl. note that once you disable java, ws7 admin server creates <vs>-obj.conf and you need to edit this file and not default obj.conf for your changes to be read by server.
    >
    I have also tried "restart"ing the request like this:
    NameTrans fn="restart" uri="/data"
    ordering is very important here... you need to do this some thing like
    <Object name=default>
    <If not $restarted>
    NameTrans fn=restart uri from=/¨ uri=/foo.
    </If>

  • Same certificates for two servers using Sun Java WS 6.1sp5 with Crypto card

    Hi,
    I have 2 Sun java webserver 6.1 sp5 installed on two machines as :
    Single webserver1 instance on hostmachine1
    Single webserver1 instance on hostmachine2.
    (both instance names are same)
    I have created server certificate and installed it using External cryptographic module: Sun Crypto Accelerator 500 on hostmachine1.
    It is perfectly working fine.
    Now,for hostmachine2, I created trust database with same password as for hostmachine1, I copied the two files
    https-webserver1-hostmachine1-key3.db and
    https-webserver1-hostmachine1-cert8.db from hostmachines1 and then put on the hostmachines2 (in an serverroot/alias folder ) and then renamed them as
    https-webserver1-hostmachine2-key3.db and
    https-webserver1-hostmachine2-cert8.db
    Then I went to preferences->Edit socket listen, but security was disabled.
    I restarted the webserver, but security was still disabled.
    What is the problem??
    Please inform me as well as at my email address [email protected]
    Please do reply me as I am waiting anxiously.
    Thanks.
    Taqi

    Hello,
    The problem you are reporting is not expected.
    Hope you are not trying on admin server.
    I am not sure why you removed all files from alias directory.
    Please do the following in a fresh installation:-
    1) install ws6.1sp5.
    2) copy cert and key db from the working systems to the alias
    directory of the instance.
    3) move the db files to the new name (make this name right).
    4) through admin server GUI select instance (Manage server).
    5) go to edit listen socket.
    6) turn on security and select OK.
    7) then press Apply button.
    8) then press Apply changes.
    9) it will restart your instance server and will ask you for the password.
    10) supply the security password of the first server.
    11) it will restart your instance server in https mode.
    This works fine.

  • File System Sharing using Sun Cluster 3.1

    Hi,
    I need help on how to setup and configure the system to share a remote file system that is created on a SAN disk (SAN LUN ) between two Sun Solaris 10 servers.
    The files in the remote system should be read/writabe from both the solaris servers concurrently.
    As a security policy NFS mount is not allowed. Some one suggested it can be done by using Sun Cluster 3.1 agents on both servers. Any details on how I can do this using Sun Cluster 3.1 is really appreciated.
    thanks
    Suresh

    You could do this by installing Sun Cluster on both systems and then creating a global file system on the shared LUN. However, if there was significant write activity on both nodes, then the performance will not necessarily what you need.
    What is wrong with the security of NFS? If it is set up properly I don't think this should be a problem.
    The other option would be to use shared QFS, but without Sun Cluster.
    Regards,
    Tim

  • Use Sun Java Studio 2 with Existing Java Application

    I have started using Sun Java Studio 2 and having fun and little difficulty creating a new Java web application from scatch. My question is where do I find information on Java Studio configuration to allow Java Studio to load up and modify Java server pages/forms in an existing Java application that I did not write?
    The Java application has been created with Javabeans and using BEA Weblogic version 7, with a SQL-Server 2000 database backend.
    Below is a bit of code out of one of the main Java forms.
    <%@ page buffer="256kb" autoFlush="false" errorPage="../../common/system/error.jsp"
    import="psdi.jsp.beans.*, psdi.jsp.common.*, psdi.jsp.app.wotrack.*, psdi.jsp.util.* , psdi.mbo.* , psdi.util.* "%>
    I have looked around and have not found what I need to setup in Java Studio to allow me to load up a form and view it in the Visual designer, I keep getting errors on the psdi. references and cannot load up any pages.
    I see on the server install ia folder under the main root <DIR> called <apps>, and inside the <apps> folder is a folder called <jsp> and in the <jsp> folder are sub folders for each main module within the application with all the related .jsp files. I have been manually editing the .jsp files using Windows Notpad and saving the changes. Then I rebuild the .ear file and my changes work fine. Since I have a lot of changes to make there has to be a better way than using Notpad.
    My hope is somewhere is a point-by-point document on what to so I can use Sun Java Studio 2 to make my changes in a visual IDE.
    Any assistance would really be appreciated.

    Hi Giri,
    Yep, this I know,b ut when I do I get errors messages and am looking for some form of point-bypoint instuction that better explains how to setup up custom libraries in Sun Java Studio, custom tags, etc.

  • Is it possible to connect to mysql using sun.jdbc?

    Is it possible to connect to a mysql database using sun's jdbc:odbc driver?
    I develop a page on the internet that uses mysql. The connection code is placed in a java class. I get the errormessage: "no suitable driver" when I try to connect with jsp/java classes.
    If I use PHP it is ok.
    Code:
    $db = mysql_connect("localhost", "vegg", "nbvv2003");
    mysql_select_db("vegg_timereg",$db);
    $result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM bruker",$db);The java code is like this:
    java.sql.Connection conn = null;
    String driver = "sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver";
    try {
          Class.forName(driver);
          conn = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:odbc:vegg_timereg","vegg","nbvv2003");
        catch (SQLException e) {
          out.print("<font color=red>Error:</font> SQLException<br>");
          out.print(e.getMessage());
        catch (ClassNotFoundException e) {
          out.print("<font color=red>Error:</font> Driver not found<br>");
          out.print(e.getMessage());
        catch (Exception e) {
          out.print("<font color=red>Error:</font> Error on initializing<br>");
          out.print(e.getMessage());
        }For me it does not seem like there are any drivers available in java, I've tried the sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver and org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver. The mySql driver is missing, so that is the reason, but I do not get an error message when importing the jdbc:odbc driver.
    I do not have permission to check the setup on the webserver:(
    It runs Apache webserver.

    thx, but I don't seem to get any databases. It works when I run it locally, but on the external webserver it doesn't.
    Database info:
    Name: vegg_timereg
    Place: localhost (root)
    Type: mySQL
    It doesn't seem like the mysql driver is installed on the server, so I have to use jdbc. I do not have any permissions on the server, so I can't check it out myself.
    In PHP this connection works:
    $db = mysql_connect("localhost", "vegg", "nbvv2003");
    mysql_select_db("vegg_timereg",$db); I've tried like this (using java.sql.Driver): Class.forName("java.sql.Driver");
    conn = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:localhost/vegg_timereg","username","password");This is really annoying when it's so easy on my machine...

  • Sun ssh does not recognize client configuration option

    Running strings on /usr/bin/ssh, Solaris 10 10/09 (and earlier) shows OpenSSH_3.8, among other things. OpenSSH FAQ says that the client config (.ssh/config file) option ServerAliveInterval was introduced in version 3.8, but that option throws an error from Sun ssh. Works on Mac OS X, and Ubuntu.
    What is the OpenSSH version that the Solaris 10 Sun ssh is based on, and does anyone know why this option doesn't work? It's a handy option, too.
    Dave

    Well, just because its based on the named OpenSSH version, it doesn't mean it has all its features. I can imagine that somehow Sun syncs all bugs, but not necessarily all features (at least not automatically).
    A reason for this is that the SunSSH is quite different in terms of privilege seperation, auditing, PAM and GSS.
    Anyway, the feature you requested is actually implemented in OpenSolaris:
    http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6268400
    .. but its not (yet?) backported to Solaris 10.

  • JMS : Using SUN MQUEUE as a JMS Provider

    Hi guys,
    I'm having quite some trouble in configuring a JMS scenario...
    I'm using SUN MQueue as a JMS Provider. I've installed the respective drivers, imq.jar, fscontext.jar and jms.jar.
    I had no trouble in deploying this drivers on the SDM.
    Now, after creating a receiver JMS communication channel, I get the following error on the RWB:

  • Using Sun JSF in JBoss-4.0.5GA

    Using Sun JSF
    1. In $JBOSS_HME/server/server-name/deploy/jbossweb-tomcat55.sar/conf/web.xml, comment out the following lines (line 243 - 247)
    <init-param>
      <description>MyFaces tlds</description>
      <param-name>tagLibJar0</param-name>
      <param-value>jsf-libs/myfaces-impl.jar</param-value>
    </init-param>2. Delete all the files under $JBOSS_HME/server/server-name/deploy/jbossweb-tomcat55.sar/jsf-libs and remove jsf-libs subdirectory.
    3. Copy the jstl.jar and standard.jar files from the $CREATOR_INSTLL_DIR/enterprise1/config/TagLibraries/JSTL11 directory to $JBOSS_HME/server/server-name/deploy/jbossweb-tomcat55.sar/.
    Since the above steps removed MyFace completely, you should not add
    <listener>
      <listener-class>org.apache.myfaces.webapp.StartupServletContextListener</listener-class>
    </listener>in your web.xml any more.
    Calling EJBs from Web modules
    1. Wrap all the JAR and WAR files in an EAR file.
    2. Do not put any utility JAR file except JDBC Drivers under $JBOSS_HME/server/server-name/lib/; otherwise, you could see classloader violation.
    3. To share the utility JAR between the EJBs and the Web modules, put it in the EAR file and declare the utility JAR in META-INF/application.xml as follows,
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <application version="1.4" xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee/application_1_4.xsd">
      <description>Application description</description>
      <display-name>whatever</display-name>
      <module>
        <java>webUtils.jar</java>
      </module>
      <module>
        <web>
          <web-uri>your.war</web-uri>
          <context-root>/yourURL</context-root>
        </web>
      </module>
      <module>
        <ejb>ejb1.jar</ejb>
      </module>
      <module>
        <ejb>ejb2.jar</ejb>
      </module>
    </application>4. Modify $JBOSS_HME/server/server-name/deploy/jbossweb-tomcat55.sar/META-INF/jboss-service.xml. Change <attribute name="Java2ClassLoadingCompliance">false</attribute> to true and <attribute name="UseJBossWebLoader">false</attribute> to true. The default configuration uses different classloaders to load EJB files and WAR file, thus does not allow the Web module to call any EJB.

    I got it working, thanks a lot to you guys.
    yes, the problem was because of the myfaces jars in the JBoss. dj had pointed this in his reply earlier but i couldnt not get it working at that time (not sure why). so after i got prasanths reply this is what i did:
    1) re-installed a clean copy of JBoss 4.0.4RC1 using the jar installer
    (Note: if you just use the unzip and copy method, the ejb 3 won't work by default)
    2) deleted the <jboss_home>/server/default/deploy/jbossweb-tomcat55.sar/jsf-libs folder.
    3) comment out this portion in <jboss_home>/server/default/deploy/jbossweb-tomcat55.sar/cong/web.xml
    <init-param>
    <description>MyFaces tlds</description>
    <param-name>tagLibJar0</param-name>
    <param-value>jsf-libs/myfaces-impl.jar</param-value>
    </init-param>
    4) deleted the tmp, log and data folders under <jboss_home>/server/default
    directory (these were there, because i did a test start and stop)
    5) Started JBoss
    6) Deployed JSF application from JDeveloper.
    and it worked fine.
    ==>For newbie's --> watch out the the url pattern in the web.xml file created by JDeveloper if you get error : FacesContext not Found
    <servlet-mapping>
    <servlet-name>Faces Servlet</servlet-name>
    <url-pattern>/faces/*</url-pattern>
    </servlet-mapping>
    Now, I want to get my EJB 3.0 working in JBoss which I created in JDeveloper and is working fine in OC4J but when i deploy to JBoss, it won't work. I will post a new thread for that in detail.
    thanks once again

  • Running CLDC applications in Mindows Mobile using sun-java-cldc-emu.cab

    How to run CLDC applications in Windows Mobile using sun-java-cldc-emu.cab present in Java Me Platform SDK 3.0. I read the 'Java ME Platform SDK and windows mobile integration.pdf' before installing the cab. But after installing the cab the jar or jad files aren't getting associated with the JVM. When I click the jar it says 'there is no application associated with "filename". Run the application first, then open this application from within the application.' I can't find any option to open the jar file from within the Sun Java CLDC Emulator application.
    I'm using Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional Images.
    Is it possible to run this JVM like IBM J9 and CrEme? Is it actually a JVM??
    Please help.

    Threre are many JSR's to give extensive support for developers, however, it is phone manufactures would impl. JVM/spec support on their devices. This is similar to JVM api for desktop, one can't extended the JVM features which take native os support, even if they do one machine.. others using it will not be able run your application as these systems relay upon standard jvm from Sun.
    Wish you good luck.. if you are building the entire phone stack..

  • Compiling C++ using Sun Studio 11

    Hi,
    I have downloaded and installed "IBM Message Service client for C/C++" (in Solaris 5.8) to publish messages to Websphere MQ Topics using C++ programs. The IBM installation comes with a compiled version of the sample programs and I am able to execute them successfully using Sun studio 11's C++ compiler. But when I try to compile these sample programs , it throws the following exception.
    mqm$ CC SampleConsumerCPP.cpp
    "SampleConsumerCPP.cpp", line 36: Error: Could not open include file<xms.hpp>.
    "SampleConsumerCPP.hpp", line 39: Error: Could not open include file<helperfunctions.h>.

    Any pointers to solve this issue will be highly appreciated.

    where /data/mqapi contains the XMS installation.You need to set your path in your shell. Make sure that /usr/ccs/bin is in your PATH.
    Have you really installed Studio 11 in "/data/sunstudio10" - that looks a bit confuding to me!

  • Binary compatibility problems using Sun Studio 12

    I'm working in a project that uses Orbix [1] third-party libraries. I have installed the Sun Studio 12 on Solaris 10 SPARC but I have got some strange segfault problems (the exactly same code works fine in a Linux box - using g++). I read the 1.4 section of Sun Studio 12 C++ Userguide [2] but I have a doubt:
    Is there no way to compile my code using Sun Studio 12 using shared libraries compiled against earlier Sun Studio C++ compiler versions (like Sun Studio 8 or some version before Sun Studio 11)?
    I think my problem is related to the fact that Orbix team used Sun Studio 8 as some notes found in their headers indicate:
    "IONA Technologies ART IDL Compiler POA C++ Generator asp 6.3.3 SunOS 5.8 CC_5.5 2008/06/13 21:04:37 EDT"
    A secondary question: Is CC 5.5 present in Sun Studio 8, right?
    Can anyone help me? Every tips are welcome :) Thanks in advance!

I read the 1.4 section of Sun Studio 12 C++ Userguide [2] but I have a doubt:I don't think 1.4 Binary Compatibility Verification applies in your case. It's referring to processor capability to execute certain (new) instructions; if your third-party libraries were compiled a while ago, it's highly unlikely they use instructions not implemented by the processor you have.
    Is there no way to compile my code using Sun Studio 12 using shared libraries compiled against earlier Sun Studio C++ compiler versions (like Sun Studio 8 or some version before Sun Studio 11)?Generally speaking, any library compiled with older Sun Studio C++ compiler is supposed to be compatible with any library or executable compiled with newer version provided that all parties did everything right. For example, that third-party libraries should not be statically linked with C++ run-time support libraries; your executable should be linked with latest compiler driver (CC) so that it records correct dependencies on support libraries.
    Of course, there could be (and actually are) compiler bugs standing in the way of compatibility. Some of them can be fixed, some - like demangler issue described in http://docs.sun.com/source/820-4155/c++.html - can't. There is no easy way to tell if you hit a compiler bug or bulding/linking issue, or bug in the code that was previously unseen.

    "IONA Technologies ART IDL Compiler POA C++ Generator asp 6.3.3 SunOS 5.8 CC_5.5 2008/06/13 21:04:37 EDT"Yes, looks like it was compiled by 5.5, which is part of Sun Studio 8
