Install the adf runtime

I have installed the weblogic server 10.3.5.0 on Oracle Linux 5.7, and now I want to deploy my adf web application developed by jdev11g R2 (11.1.2.0.0), but can not as the Oracle ADF runtime need to be installed,
I have no idea how to install it into Linux and where to download it. Please let me know. Thank you very much for your guide!!!

My case is I had installed standalone Weblogic server. and the file directory like :
$ pwd
/app/mid/weblogic_home
$ ll
total 204

after installing the software ofm_appdev_generic_11.1.1.5.0_disk1_1of1.zip, I found two "config.sh"
"/app/mid/weblogic_home/oracle_common/common/bin/config.sh"
"/app/mid/weblogic_home/wlserver_10.3/common/bin/config.sh"
Both of them can be used to create new domain or extend the existing domain, right? either one I can use or only one of them to be used for configuration?
Rgds!

  • Installing the ADF Runtime Libraries 11g R2 in WebLogic Domain Running OIM

I have built a custom Identity Claiming Application using the ADF 2.0 framework and currently have it running in a seperate WLS 10.3.6 middleware home due to being unsure if it was safe to apply the upgrade patches in the OIM middleware home. Would anyone know if it is safe to apply the patch in the same middleware home as OIM so that I can deploy the application in the same environment.

I won't recommend that because you may fall into different issues. I never did so I can't share my experience about the issues.
Oracle always recommends to follow the certification matrix so in case if you face some issues then you may not get support from Oracle and you may face issues while Upgrading your OIM environment as well.

  • Problems with the ADF runtime installer 10.1.3.3 on OAS 10.1.3

    hi, all,
I have successfully installed an oracle application server on a linux machine and in order for ADF BC application to run on it i have to install the adf runtime libraries.
What i did is the following:
-I shut down the opmn of the server
-I installed the libraries using the jdev utility
-when i try to start the server again the OC4J process does not start and gives the following error.
    07/11/22 11:44:09 Start process
07/11/22 11:44:15 Error initializing server: Shared library "apache.commons.logging" could not be found.

    Hi,
I am trying to install Oracle ADF runtime for Websphere. I downloaded the installer from this link http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/middleware/11g/ofm_appdev_generic_11.1.1.2.0_disk1_1of1.zip
When I extract and run the installer, I do not see the option for "Application Server Screen" where I am supposed to be able to select websphere option.

  • Unable to install the ADF Mobile extension inJDeveloper version  11.1.2.3.0

    Hi,
I'm trying to install the ADF Mobile extension using JDeveloper version 11.1.2.3.0. I have tried following options -:
1.) Install extension from Official Oracle Extensions and Updates . Help->Check for Updates->select Official Oracle Extensions and Updates->Next ->ADF Mobile ->Next ->Finish->Restart Jdev
2.) Downloaded ADF Mobile extension zip file and saved it in local drive. Then Help->Check for Updates->Install from Local drive.
On restarting the Jdeveloper when i tried to verify the installation, i'm unable to see ADF Mobile framework in the Extensions tab. Plus i do not see ADF Mobile option when i go to create a new application.
I have tried to install the extension atleast 8-9 times still no luck.
Please advice what could be the reason why installation is getting failed.

  • I keep getting this pop up.To view this web content, you need to install the Java Runtime Environment. How can I get rid of it?

I keep getting this pop up - To view this web content, you need to install the Java Runtime Environment. How do I get rid of it.

Most likely, you have a web plugin that depends on the Java runtime distributed by Apple, such as the Facebook video calling plugin or the "NexDef" plugin for watching baseball streams. If you no longer need the plugin, remove it. Otherwise, install Java.

  • HT202912 I get the message "To view this web content, you need to install the Java Runtime Environment" Do I need two versions as this article suggests?

I just upgraded to Yosemite on my 2010 MacBook Pro.  When I reboot I get the message "To view this web content, you need to install the Java Runtime Environment" and I've also seen the same pop-up once while running OpenOffice.  And now while composing this post.
Yes - I followed the link and installed the Oracle version of Java, version 8, and the test page confirms that I have the current version running.
I read some threads on discussions.apple.com but didn't like the answers.
    I found this:  http://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/mac-software/advanced-tips-for-mac-os-x-yosemit e-3582877/

After "upgrading" to Yosemite, I keep getting a pop-up window that says "To view this content, you need to install the Java Runtime Environment." I followed the link to install the latest version of Java, but keep getting the warning. It even pops up when there are no Safari windows open. I've turned Java off and still get it. It's annoying because I have to clear the window to continue surfing and it crashes Safari when I'm watching a video full-screen.
    Any ideas?

  • Safari 8 error: "...you need to install the Java Runtime Environment"

Ever since upgrading to Yosemite and Safari 8, I continually get the error "To view this web content, you need to install the Java Runtime Environment" and, although I did do so the first time I got the error, and Java tells me I do have the latest version installed and running, I continue to get this error constantly.
Is there a way to stop this, or at least find out what content is causing it? I can't put my finger on any particular content that causes the error.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It makes no changes to your data.
Please triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    java -version
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window by pressing the key combination command-V. I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting.
If the Apple Java runtime is installed and up to date, you should get three lines of output below what you entered, the first of which is this:
    java version "1.6.0_65"
Is that what you get? You can then quit Terminal.
