Installation of Yosemite 10.10.1 has severely slowed performance of my Mac Mini.  Tales a long time to start, and a very long time to start any apps.

Open Activity Monitor and kill this process - rapportd.
Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list.  Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

OS X Yosemite- Reinstall OS X
OS X Mavericks- Reinstall OS X
OS X Mountain Lion- Reinstall OS X

    The activation server for Audition 3 was shut down by Adobe several years ago.
    You now need to download the non-activation version provided by Adobe here

    Install then enter the new serial number provided by Adobe at that link. Your existing serial number will no longer work.

    Thank you so much for providing the details about the duplicate song issue you are experiencing.  It sounds like you would like to remove the duplicate songs that will not play on your iPhone, but when you connect it to iTunes, iTunes only shows you one copy of the song on your iPhone. 
    In this situation, I recommend deleting the individual songs that do not play directly from your iPhone.  I found the steps to do this on page 61 of the iPhone User Guide (http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf):
    Delete a song from iPhone: In Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete.

    Hi All,
    I had this problem today myself, and was frustrated repeatedly by the '4002' error.
    I have literally just fixed the issue by doing the following steps:
    1: Go to the 'Store' tab and select 'Turn Off iTunes Match'
    2: Return to the 'Store' tab and select 'Update Genius'
    3: Wait for this to complete succesfully, the return to the 'Store' tab once more and select 'Turn On iTunes Match'.
    4: iTunes Match will now go through the motions and should succeed!

    The other day i deleted my email accounts off of my ipod and only reloaded a few of them. today i looked at my notes to look at a project i had typed on my notes because i didnt have paper and pen around to write it and i didnt want to froget. I reloaded the rest of my emails in hope that everything would reappear but sadly only some of them from 2010 loaded. Recently i had update some of the files and they were like they were when i first created them there were alos ones that i had deleted long ago.     If you do not have, or remember, the passcode for Restrictions, the only option available to you is to reset the device to factory settings via itunes.

    So after reading other's threads on this issue, I learned that by turning icloud's calendar sync option off and then on again, it re-sets your calendar and pesky old things go away like magic. Thanks to others on this forum for sharing their expertise! I'm all set now.

    Hmm, that's too bad.  Perhaps you should use some form of data backup to protect your important data?  Like, for example, that PhotoStream I mentioned http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4486 , or simply transferring your pictures & videos to your computer http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 or even emailing the photos to yourself http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4810 ?

    First, update iTunes, then connect the phone to the computer and do a restore. This will also get your iOS up to date. Your phone should operate correctly after doing this, if not, you will most likely need to have the phone serviced or replaced.
