Instant crash on iPad1, iOS 4.3.3 with AIR 3.9.0.960 Beta
I built my application just fine.
They also run perfectly okay on those devices:
- iPod Touch 5, iOS 7.0
- iPhone 3GS, iOS 5.0.1
- iPhone 4, iOS 6.0
- iPad 3, iOS 6.1.3
But it crashes instantly on iPad1, iOS 4.3.3
I tried to debug to see if there's any code that's causing this crash, but it doesn't even pass the connection phase.
As soon as I see the launch image, it crashes to home screen.
My application uses several ANEs:
- Milkman's GoViral, GameCenter, StoreKit
- Freshplanet's Chartboost, Flurry
- Adobe NetworkInfo
- StickSport's CanOpenURL
- StickSport's SilentSwitch (I guess I don't need this extension anymore..)
Here's a message from crash report:

I know there are only so little people who are still using iOS4, but they exists.
Is anyone experiencing the same issue on iOS4? or instant crash?
I checked the anes but there's no anes that are targeted higher.
They work fine with previous AIR SDKs.
However, it doesn't crash on iPad 1, iOS 5.1.1

Our project crashed on 3 different ipod touch 5. Is there any setting wrong that cause the app failed on 32 bit device?
Hope someone could help! Thanks! We have the same problem. Our project built with Flex 4.7 and Air SDK 16. The application uses a native extension that was compiled with the following XCode settings:

Detect if iOS app is made with AIR?
Is there an easy way to find air apps on the iOS app store? OR an easy way to detect if someones app is made with Air? I do not see the App ID in the itunes link like you do on google play
The need was to find out apps in the App Store that were made as AIR apps. You would have to actually buy apps to figure it out from the files. In Google Play you can see in the URL. For example, I did this app with Flash Pro:

Has anyone else had the day view crash calendar in iOS 7.1 on iPad Air?
I recently updated to iOS 7.1 on my iPad Air (128 GB cellular). When I go to the calendar app and select the new "Day" view, the calendar app crashes.
I have iCloud calendar and two Google calendars syncing with the device. When I disable all calendars from syncing, I no longer experience a crash in the "Day" view.
Has anyone else had similar experiences?
Thanks,
FyzelSwitching to day view doesn't crash calendar but I can't launch the calendar app in iOS 7.1 (on my iPad 2) if synch is in and it was last in day view. It crashes on launch.

Safari, App Store, iCloud all instantly crash when I try to open them on iOS 7
Safari, App Store, iCloud all instantly crash when I try to open them on iOS 7.
On iPhone 5s. Cannot back up (on cloud) or even enter settings for any of the apps as it crashes again.
Luckily had Chrome installed or would not be able to go online. Ideas? If you have apps that crash as soon as you attempt to access them and resetting the network settings had no effect I would then go straight to restoring the device back to default settings. Once restored to default I would try the device to see if this resolved the issue BEFORE restoring the backup to the device. It's likely the issue you are having has to do with corrupted software.

Good luck friend. -
Cannot use app store, instantly crashes
I am running iOS 6.1.4 on my iPad and I am unable to run the app store app as it instantly crashes.
I have done all the common things....closed all running apps, rebooted using power/home button until apple logo appears etc...
Any ideas?
Thanks,
DerekYou may have synced you iPhone while logged into a different iTunes account. Open iTunes on your computer, make sure you are logged into the account that is on the iPhone and sync the iPhone.

Hi
I am experiencing the mobile safari crash on IPAD (With IOS 7)
Scenario:
Parent page i.e., Test.html opens a new window test2.html which opens an Articulate storyline course. when the course is closed the test.html window reloads and results in the crash report.
So each time the operation is same i.e., closing the course window, wheras it results in different crash reports.
Request you to analyze the crash reports provided below and provide me with the next steps.

Line app crashes frequently in iOS 8
I just downloaded iOS 8 via itunes with my phpne connected to my macbook. After updating, I find that my line App crashes a lot. I restarted my phone, and it still crashes, I tried closing all my apps including Line and restarting (for some reason the phone was remembering which apps were open even after turning it off and then on again and logging in with my pin) and even after quiting all my apps, turning the phone off and then on again, when I opened line, I had to open it over 4 times before it would stop immediately crashing after being opened. In total I have had the app crash (completely close) immediately after being opened over 12 times in the first 5 minutes after updating to iOS 8, and before on iOS 7 I maybe experienced Line crash once. It hasn't crashed since I opened it the last (5th?) time, but I don't want to have to deal with it crashing frequently or every time I restart my phone :/
I am using an iPhone 5s if that helps.Just so you know I did uninstall and reinstall LINE and this did stop the app from crashsing. HOWEVER, users should be aware that doing this means all your history, chats, and users you added outside of your phone book will be deleted. So you should keep this in mind if having all your historical stuff is important. I think the biggest bad problem is that users you added manually will all be wipped out from your profile and you have to go back and re-add them again. Not a big deal if you only have a couple to re-add, but a problematic if you have 100's of users missing and have to re-add them.

XYGraph Cursor legend bug instantly crashes LabView 2012
Hi!
I am just facing a very annoying bug.
Please find my example VI attached, I would like to know wheather you can confirm the bug? Run the VI if you wish to see some curve (actually the bug appears even if you do not put any data on the graph, if you do, just the same) and after that try to click on the cursor legend vertical scrollbar to scroll up or down to see the cursor names.
It instantly crashes my LabView 2012 Full version: 12.0.1f2 (32-bit). This XYGraph always crashes LabView... I cannot go on with my project, now I will just try to bypass the error, I will try to delete the cursors, and add them again...
Anyhow, very strange and annoying behaviour...
Anyone could repeat the same bug?
Thanks for support!
Solved!

please find attached my example VI, where I would like to programmatically set the label position of a cursor. Why my code does create at every run a new cursor with the same name?
thanks!

Dead iPad 1 crashed when installing iOS 5.1
Hi
My iPad 1 64 /3G which has all the regular crashing abilities discussed on this forum has finally died
It crashed whilst installing iOS 5.1
It will not restart , the battery is showing critical low level despite 24hrs of charging
Can any body help ? I have tried holding both buttons several times, it starts then shuts down after showing the low battery symbol, despite being on its proper power mains supply
Does not respond at all when connected to iTunes.I had the same problem and was ready to throw It in the trash. Last night I erased my iPad and set it up as new iPad instead of restoring. I didn't turn on iCloud until after I deleted my iCloud backup and turned off contact syncing with it. Since then it hasn't crashed and it has had about 4 hours of use. 5.0.1 didn't have an effect on it. Just happy I got my iPad back!

Minidump: http://tommycatkins.com/2015/Minidump.zip
The complete offline installers do not crash and appear to install successfully:
install_flash_player_17_plugin.exe
install_flash_player_17_active_x.exe
After installation, Flashplayer appears to run normally without issue.
Speculation: Both computers are older and do not have SSE2 processors. Did flashplayer17_ha_install.exe and flashplayer17ax_ha_install.exe get compiled with SSE2 switch enabled?Minidump analysis, looks like an illegal instruction. Again suspect SSE2 requirement was enabled for this version of Adobe Download Manager. It does not appear SSE2 is required for FlashPlayer (yet), so this should be fixed.

Random instant crash when plugging in iPhone as usb tether
Thought I would share this as I have never seen this happen in all my time using Macs. I upgraded to Mavericks recently on a DIY Fusion Drive (1.5tb 2008 alu Macbook). So far all is running well until a glitch tonight that was bizarre. I plugged in my iphone 4 to use the internet via tethering. The battery died on the phone, so I unplugged and plugged in my wife's iphone 4S. The computer instantly crashed and restarted. No grey screen of death, no warning. I checked the console - I would paste it now but I haven't been able to find it since the log rolled over, but it was basically registering the usb tether, no threads on kernel panic etc and then it was a huge block of @@@@@@@@@@ for a page or so and then restart threads. Any ideas?
HI,
I haven't done an SMC reset since installing the fusion drive, so not since upgrading to Mavericks (I usually do a clean install but just couldn't face it this time around). How will the SMC make a difference? -
I have 2 ipods which are individually synced to 2 different computers using 2 different apple account id's. Both crashed during the IOS 6 update with the same indication and message. error code 1602 and message that there was an unknown error during the update. In both cases, the ipods are stuck in the upload screen even if I power cycle them and niether computer will recognize them any more.
Error 1604
This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode, put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for the error.
When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.
Error 1600, 1601, 1602
Follow the steps listed above for Error 1604. This error may also be resolved by disabling, deactivating, or uninstalling third-party security, antivirus, and firewall software. See steps in this article for details on troubleshooting security software.
Also try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -
iPhone 4 still gets crashed even after ios 7.1 update, & sometimes fails to reboot! However it gets rebooted after 30 to 60 mins later by itself. "HELP" please somebody

IMac G4/800 in FireWire Target Disk Mode shuts down, hard drive hopeless?
I have found myself in possession of a 12 year-old iMac G4/800. The machine looks stock and was nice and full of dust when I took it apart, so I'm going to assume nothing has been upgraded on it. The person who the computer belongs to has had issues
