Integrating dynamic xml into xsl

hi iam having problem in my project i get data from database using jdbc
then convert it into dynamic xml (depending upon query)bcz there r four different tables in database now i need to know how i convert that into xsl to send it to jsp page.
thanks in advance

Jason,
What you want to do is pretty simple. Some might depend on which version of Pr you have and what its capabilities are.
While there several ways to do what you want, I'd do a Title with a "handwriting" font, and place it above the white board, i.e. your actor with white board on Video Track 1 and your Title on Video Track 2 (above it). To cover the movement of the white board, I'd Keyframe Motion>Position (and maybe a bit of Motion>Scale) to match the movement of the Title to the movement of the board. You can also simulate the angle that the board is held to the camera and possibly Keyframe that too, if necessary. The Perspective Effect, or Corner Pin could be useful for this.
There are other things that can be done, such as "writing" the text that will appear. The easiest way is to do a sequence of PSD images in PS and use those, holding on the final full message. Depending on the layout of the text, a simple Crop Effect, or Track Matte Keying can be very effective and useful.
Good luck,
Hunt

  • Error editing task sequence: Failed to load dynamic properties for class "SMS_TaskSequence_ApplyWindowsSettingsAction" From XML into WMI

    I've started getting an intermittent error editing my Windows 7 OSD task sequence.  Sometimes I can open the TS to edit, but when I try to apply changes I get the error.  Other times I get the error when trying to open the TS.  If I try again
    right away, I still get the error, but if I wait a few minutes and try again sometimes it will open the TS.
    The error reads:

    I exported the task sequence and checked in "object.xml" for the "ApplyWindowsSettingsAction", to see if there was something odd in the xml, but I don't find anything that jumps out as being wrong.  Here's the section of XML for
    that step.  I've removed identifying info, and replaced it with a generic term in bold.

    Is there any other log I should check for a clue on this issue?  What could be causing this error?

    Thanks for sharing that!  I tend to save contacting MS support until after I've exhausted other options.  I'm always afraid that I'll spend the $500 to open a case and then it turns out to be something simple that I would have found if I had just
    kept working on it myself a little longer.
    It looks like that link is for an update released in February as KB3023562.  I downloaded and installed it. I'll try opening/editing/saving the task sequence a few times today to see if the issue is resolved.
    After I had already installed it, I thought to look up that update in configmgr.  The update is listed as superseded by 2 other updates.  The newest of those is KB3046049, which just installed last night with the other March patches, so it's possible
    that I didn't need to install KB3023562 after all.

  • Unable to display a variable value in xml through xsl using coldfusion

    Hi ColdFusion Heroes ,
    Is their any one to help me in this issue . I am new to cold
    fusion , XML and XSL .
    Detail Explaination :
    develoment_files.cfm is a .cfm page , which includes an xml
    page .
    development_files_dropdown.xsl is a xsl page .
    develoment_files.cfm : Code is as follows .
    <CFDIRECTORY ACTION="LIST" DIRECTORY="#somepath#"
    NAME="DirContents" FILTER="p*">
    <CFQUERY DBTYPE="query" NAME="Files">
    SELECT *
    FROM DirContents
    WHERE Type = 'File'
    </CFQUERY>
    <CFOUTPUT><?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl"
    href="../XSL/development_files_dropdown.xsl"?>
    <Test xmlns:xsi='
    http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance'>
    <CFLOOP QUERY="Files">
    <Directory>
    <DisplayName>#Name#</DisplayName>
    <FullPath>#Name#</FullPath>
    </Directory>
    </cfloop>
    </Test></CFOUTPUT>
    This file generates a query resulting files starting with p*
    and then it should be a file and manipulates in xml.
    development_files_dropdown.xsl pages is as follows.
    <?xml version='1.0'?>
    <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="
    http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
    <xsl:output method="html" indent="yes"/>
    <xsl:preserve-space elements="*"/>
    <xsl:template match="/">
    <xsl:apply-templates/>
    </xsl:template>
    <xsl:template match="Test">
    <B>Script Name: </B>
    <select name="T1_Dev_Script" CLASS="DevInput">
    <xsl:for-each select="Directory">
    <option>
    <xsl:attribute name="value">
    <xsl:value-of select="FullPath/text()"/>
    </xsl:attribute>
    <xsl:value-of select="DisplayName/text()"/>
    </option>
    </xsl:for-each>
    </select>
    </xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>
    This is only for the purpose of display .
    Now i want to get one particular file named "pfile" { Code is
    written in development_files.cfm page and kept it in a variable } I
    want to display it in #Name# filed. how can i do that ? I am
    getting XML Parsing error from javascript .
    Could any one look into this .
    Thanks & Regards,
    Nataraj G

    The first part is right -
    1) drag a text element onto the page, at a location in which you want the variable value to be displayed
    2) On the left hand bottom page - go to the web item properties for the text element
    3) scroll down to the specific properties for the item - in that uncheck the first two check boxes - display general text elements & display static filter values
    4) in the next item in the properties (List of text elements) click once on the box where List is written and then clcik on the small browse button that appears.
    5) in the window that opens, in the element type field, select variable/variable value as key (as per your requirement) and then under the element ID field type in the technical name of your variable that you want to display.
    click ok and save your template and try executing it.
    See if this solves your problem.

  • Cannot view PDF created by passing xml and XSL-FO using UTL_HTTP

    Hi,
    Using UTL_HTTP Iam trying to contact a servlet which uses the input XML and XSL/FO to produce a PDF.However, when I run the procedure , I get the following error 'File does not begin with -%PDF' ? I checked the output on the console and the blob values does not start with %PDF . Below is the sample from my code , please let me know if Iam commiting a mistake somewhere. I confirmed that the servlet itself is working fine by confirming with test webpage that takes xml and stylesheet input and generates a PDF when 'submitted' to servlet on the click of a button.
    INSERT INTO TESTPDF ( PDF_REPORT ) VALUES ( Empty_Blob() ) RETURNING PDF_REPORT INTO vBlobRef;
    vReportURL :='/rufop/fop?xml='||xmldoc||'&xsltRPath=../../test/PAXSL.xsl';

    loop
    begin
    Utl_Http.read_raw(resp, vData);
    Dbms_Lob.writeAppend ( lob_loc => vBlobRef , amount => Utl_Raw.length(vData) , buffer => vData );
    exception
    when utl_http.end_of_body then
    exit;
    end;
    end loop;
    Utl_Http.end_response(resp);

    Hello guys! I have been assigned the same task,i.e to generate pdf through xml using xsl stylesheet.
    I have a procedure which is creating the xml and the stylesheet. But I have no idea how to write the procedure which passes this xml to fo engine. I am very new to this. Can anyone please share your thoughts with me so as how to accomplish this? By reading blogs on internet I figured I would have to use UTIL_HTTP but don't know how.

    Can it even be set to do this?
    The only code in the style.xml that looks like it might be realted is line 12 <playOptions playMode="pause"/>, changing that to "play" does nothing.

    hi,
    all the UI elements in the adobe form are generally connected to your web-dynpro Context.
    whatever you type in the online adobe form is reflected in the respective context attributes of the dynpro Context of the view where "ur Interactive form UI element is".
    that means you can yourself fill the contents of ur interactive form by working on the get/set methods of the context attributes.
    Likewise you can clear the form by setting all context attributes to blank eg ""
    <b>interactive form has two imp properties:-</b>
    <b>*dataSource</b>
    data source points to the node all whose context attributes will be made available in the interactive form
    <b>*pdfsource</b>
    points to the context attribute which will hold the pdf.
    note that the type of this pdfSorce attribute will be binary.
    if you still have doubts.
    give me your gmail mail id. i 'll send a tutorial.

  • XSL-1009 error in XML to XML using XSL

    I'm using XSL to transform one XML format to another using and XSL transform file. I'm initiating this with ORAXSL in.xml transform.xsl out.xml. The XSL file has in it:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.oracle.com/XSL/Transform/Java" version="1.0">
    <xsl:import href="../generic/parsePOHeader.xsl"/>
    <xsl:import href="../generic/parsePOLine.xsl"/>
    <xsl:output method="xml" indent="yes"/>
    <xsl:template match="/">
    ORAXSL gives an error of XSL-1009: Attribute xsl:version not found in XSL:Stylesheet.
    Putting an XSL: prefix on the version doesn't help. A search for help on this site had a solution for XSL that create HTML.
    Has anyone else solved this problem?

    Thanks everyone for th ereply. Yes, I tested the mapping in integration bulider and it works fine. Even the file conversion works fine intermittantly! Sometimes it converts successfully and wrties file to target location and sometimes I get this error. I checkd in sxi_cache and I see the mapping xsl files there. I jus had basis reboot PI server and run some cache commands but still same problem! Also, when I have to files in source directory sometimes it converts both, sometimes one and sometimes both fails! I haveno clue what els to try.
    What are adapter nodes and wher can I check for that?
    Thanks.

  • JSF, tiles, xml and xsl

    Good days people, I am employed at an app that wants to integrate JSF, tiles, xml and xsl.
    Basically the app receives information of the user's interfaz, builds an url with the above mentioned information and invokes to a service web that a xml returns with the information. The idea is to generate the exit in format html or wml with an insole(staff) xsl and to send the result in this format to every jsp that is going to form a part of the page that it will generate tiles. at first I understand that it is feasible, id like to know if someone already has done it and since it has done it.
    Just now what I have is a managed bean that receives the parameters of the altar frontal and invokes a method of a service, like this:
    public String encuentra(){
    //deja los atributos privados rellenos.
    String mensaje ;
    crearYRellenarBusquedaVO();
    try {
    setResultado(this.getServicio().obtenerResultadosWML(this.getBusquedaVO()));

    }catch(java.lang.IllegalArgumentException e){

    }catch(es.yell.frontlite.exceptions.SrvBusquedaNoxtrumServiceException e1){

    }catch(Exception e2){

  • Load dynamic text into Captivate form external file

    Is it possible to load dynamic text into a Captivate file from an external file like an XML using Javascript.
    I see there's a way to get it form the query scring of the URL ( http://captivatedev.com/2011/05/01/how-to-jump-to-a-specific-slide-in-a-separate-course/ ), but I have a project where I want  several pieces of text to be replaced and we want to be able to edit it externally from the Captivate file.
    Thanks!

    Hi Ned,
    What I'm doing is using a yahoo map to load addresses and
    place custom swf files as the placemarkers. The main stage has an
    instance of myMap, which is the map that yahoo sets us to display
    the ACTUAL map. They have also provided coding for placing markers
    on the map, which is what I'm using.
    I have the addresses throughout multiple xml files, which I
    am actually loading through 1 single xml file. These addresses are
    being stored in an array, then called by the AS below to place
    markers. All the markers are placed correctly, however, I am trying
    to have them actually say the address - this is where the problem
    lies.
    The marker that is being located and placed has a text field
    called load_text in it. I want that field to load the same address
    that is being used to place it (from the array addressA).
    I'm very confused because every loop through the * for (i=0;
    i<addressA.length; i++) * loop the marker is placed at the
    correct addressA
    location, but I cannot actually get the address to load into the
    load_txt field in the marker. I can even run a trace during that
    loop and it traces addressA for each address, but I can't seem
    to actually load those values into the load_txt box.
    Do you have any ideas?

  • Dynamic xml

    I was able to create the xml jpeg slideshow demonstrated on
    this site, using the tutorial and everything works fine.
    But....instead of short captions for each image, I've used an
    explanatory paragraph for each image, some longer than others. I
    created buttons to scroll the text box and that works ok. My only
    problem is that when I scroll the info for let's say, image 1, when
    image 2 is dynamically brought into the slideshow with the
    corresponding text (again in this case a paragraph of text), the
    scroller does not go to the top of the paragraph, but instead
    leaves off where I scrolled to in the previous text.
    How do I get it to refresh, go to the top of each paragraph
    as each image and its corresponding text is dynamically brought in.
    The code on my scroller buttons is pretty simple:
    onClipEvent (enterFrame) {
    if (scrolling) {
    _root.slideText.scroll--;
    onClipEvent (enterFrame) {
    if (scrolling) {
    _root.slideText.scroll++;
    I've tried so many variations that I'm now really confused.
    Any help or direction would be extremely appreciated.

    Thank you, thank you, thank you.
    I had originally used that code but I had it on the buttons,
    and when it didn't work then I was trying if, else solutions,
    instead of putting it where the text was being inputted. When I
    read your reply the lightbulb went on. I can't tell you how long I
    spent trying to figure out different combinations. I really
    appreciate your getting back to me.

  • Dynamic XML PDF not importing fields

    I have a PDF developed in Livecycle and saved as a dynamic XML.
    My database is MS Access and from this I've exported a query saved as an XML file, a XSD schema and an XSL stylesheet. (files attached)
    I'm trying to populate the PDF from the above mentioned files client-side. I have the fields set up to display in a table with repeating rows.
    It seems that I've set everything up okay and I get no error generated in the log file when I preview the PDF in Livecycle, but, the fields are not
    being generated.
    I suspect maybe this is because I don't have the nested forms set up properly for a flowed subform. But I should get at least the first row generated
    shouldn't I, if it is reading the nodes in the XML?
    Attached is (a mock-up) of the PDF along with the XML, XSD and XLS. This form should flow to other pages when dynamically built and I'm hoping to
    display the header on each page (the header will be on the Master Page -- it will contain site links, etc.)
    I hope to not only import data to a PDF this way but also to export fields from the PDF in the same way for database edits...
    Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong in the attached?
    And, on another note... do all of the above need to be in the same folder together on the server or can I put the PDF in one folder and the XML, XSD
    and XLS a different folder? (Or the PDF and XLS in the same folder and XML and XSD files in a different folder, etc.)...
    Thanks for any reponses on this.

    Sorry for the delay in replying to this post. I got stuck at a friend's from the weekend snow we had... and am finally back on my own computer.
    Just before leaving Friday I found the problem with the form not displaying data fields read from the XML.
    It's a bit embarrassing to admit but, per Steve's instruction here to change the form preview properties (file/form properties) (thanks, Steve!) - I changed the preview from 'print one-sided' to 'interactive' and noticed that I had not set up the link to the XML under 'Data File'. Duh! So, it is reading the data from the XML now.
    However... For the form to display, I had to (under 'connection properties) take the XSLT file off. Under 'Connection Properties' the form is set up as XML Schema with the link to the XSD set up.
    The problem now is that a few of the dynamic fields are numbers. These number fields in the database only have two digits to the right of the decimal point (as in 93.79) but when the form loads these fields in the table in preview mode these fields contain 8 digits to the right of the decimal point (as in 93.79362082). I don't know why this is except that maybe it is because it's no longer reading from the XSLT file. All I want it to do is read the field exactly as it is in the database...
    The table on the form doesn't display as it should either. The table expands with the rows its presenting but this runs to the very bottom of the page and doesn't flow to the next page. I've tried changing the size of the 'root' form on the Master page as well as the size of the 'parent' subform of the table subform but the table still runs to the bottom of the page... I'll keep playing around with this until I fix it unless someone can point me in the right direction...
    Thanks for any leads on this...
    (new corrected file attached)
    Graham, this stuff really is interesting! These handful of files working together to build a dynamic PDF, reading the database XSD schema, an XML file and the XSL file as well as throwing in some Javascript functions is really cool... I'm also (hopefully) planning to have Cold Fusion query the database, depending on the login person's admin privilages, parse the fields from the database and build the XML file from this data 'on the fly' at login... Quite a lot going on in the background here to build the PDF! (I wish I could answer your question about the stylesheet but, obviously from the above, I'm a novice at this - I'm new at this and trying to grope my way around this stuff in the dark. These forums have been helpful as well as googling questions, but, there is still a learning curve here. I'm pretty rough with Javascript as well and that's a big feature of this stuff...)
    Thanks to anyone for direction on getting this file to display properly and the number fields to show the same as in database...
