Interface method  not implemented by class :(

I'm getting an error for interface method
Interface method handleLogout in namespace  views.interfaces:IWiseMediator not implemented by class  views.mediators:RatingViewMediator.    RatingViewMediator.as
package views.interfaces
    import flash.events.Event;
    public interface IWiseMediator
        function handleLogout(event:Event):void;
but I done this in RatingViewMediator
private function handleLogout(event:Event):void
            viewObject.clearFields();

interfaces are used to enforce a public 'interface' to the class. as a private method can only be accessed by the class itself, it doesn't make sense to include private methods in an interface.

  • Method "equals" not implemented for class "Pan1"

    Method "equals" not implemented for class "Pan1" -- this is the error I'm getting while running one static Analyzer. Can anybody say, what is this error , and how to rectify it ?

    The static analyzer may have noticed that either you may invoke .equals() on instances of this class (possibly through polymorphism) and you have not implemented the method in your class. This is most likely a warning since many times lack of an implemented .equals() method in such cicumstances will lead to Object.equals() being executed and that simply checks to see if the object references are the same - quite a bit stronger than what one would probably expect from .equals();
    it is also possible that you did implement an equals() method but that you used the wrong argument type. This is a common mistake:
    public boolean equals(MyClass other) {
       return /* something */;
    }This type of warning may be ignored, or if it troubles you and there is no way to disable it for the classes that you know you have implemented correctly, you might consider adding an equals method of the form:
    public boolean equals(Object other) {
       return super.equals(other);
    }Chuck

              return con;
         public static void main(String[] args) {
              ConsoleTest ct = new ConsoleTest();
              TaskAuctionMapper tam1 = new TaskAuctionMapper();
    ArrayList<Object> alt1 = tam1.getAllTaskAuctions(ct.getConnection());
    Iterator<Object> itr1 = alt1.iterator();
    while (itr1.hasNext())

              "StartDate: "+ taskauct.getStartdate()+", "+
              "User ID: " + taskauct.getUserid());

    Found the answer, I shouldn't use integers as parameters of column index in the result set, but instead use String to mark the fields :)

  • Hot code replace failed - Delete method not implemented

    I debug my Java application with Eclipse (3.1). When I change my code during debugging, I get the following error message:
    ...MyApp at localhost:4540 (may be out of synch) was unable to replace the running code with the code in the workspace.
    Reason:
    Hot code replace failed - Delete method not implemented
    What does that mean and how can I fix this?

    This means you changed a class while it was debugging an application and it could not update the class for the application while it was running.
    The error suggests you may be running an older JVM, i.e. pre-1.4.2 but this error can occur with any JVM if the change is incompatible with the previous version of the class.
    The hot replace often does not work for non trivial changes to code.

    HI Liang
    Yes it looks like post installation problem. I have not come across this but i think you should check with the RFC created for IE while installation. To connect IE & AE and even the exchange profile if something is missing

    It might have something to do with Proxies. Have a look in System Preferences>Network, click on your network - either ethernet or wifi - and click on the Proxies tab. Anything selected in there. If so deselect and then try.
    Have you tried using another brrowser, maybe Chrome or Firefox?

  • Error When Trying to POST: Method not implemented in data provider class

    Hi Experts,
    I have created an Odata Service using Netweaver Gateway Service builder. I am using Advanced Rest Client to test the service. I can successfully GET my data, but I run into issues when I try and POST new data.
    When trying to POST, I used the GET method to get the x-csrf-token, and added it to my header. I also updated the body XML with the data that I would like to POST. However, after sending the POST request, I am getting a "500 Internal Service Error" with the xml message "Method '<OdataServiceName>'_CREATE_ENTITY" not implemented in data provider class".
    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi Kelly,
    Can you share screenshots of the error? Maybe something wrong with payload :can you share the same also? Did you try to debug it by putting a breakpoint in the CREATE_ENTITY method in the backend? Any luck?

                SqlCommand executeCommand = new SqlCommand("dbo.xxxxx", workflowConn);
                // Execute the command.
                workflowConn.Open();
                executeCommand.ExecuteNonQuery();
                workflowConn.Close();
                throw new NotImplementedException();

    workflowConn.Close();

    Remove the "throw new NotImplementedException();" statement in your code as I have shown by commenting
    it out above.  That statement probably is a left-over from the template.

    Hi,
    From the error it seems that the code is refering ReqLinesNotificationsVOExRowImpl file.
    Please make sure that its class file is present in myclasses folder.
    Since u have mentioned that ReqLinesNotificationsVORowImpl is already placed in myclasses folder. Hope this should resolve your issue.

  • JDBC 2.0 method not implemented error using bea jDriver for MS-SQLServer 2000

    I'm trying to reconfigure WebLogic Portal 7.0 (Platform 7.0 SP2) to run on MS SQLServer
    2000. According to the supported platform docs, the MS JDBC driver is not supported
    by Portal, hence I'm using the BEA jDriver for SQLServer.
    I'm now getting the following error when starting up Weblogic Portal which requires
    a re-sync with the EBCC before the applications will work.
    <28-Aug-03 09:28:30 BST> <Error> <Data Synchronization> <000000> <Application:

    Has anyone else come across this problem and know how to resolve it. I have tried
    using the MS JDBC Driver on the off chance that it would work, but this also produced
    SQL Exceptions with the persistance store and would not work at all even after
    syncing with the EBCC

    Jim,
    Thanks, I'm awaiting for my account to be enabled with customer contract support.
    When this is done I will raise a case and send files as requested.
    In the mean time it's worth noting that these settings have been made. Connection
    to the DB is fine, the createDB, loadads, loaddocs and sync etc all worked fine.
    The problem only exists when restarting the server and the portal persistance
    store is trying to be refereshed. Once EBCC is re-synced all the DB access works
    fine.

  • Implements interface method at the derived class

    Hi all.
    I have a class (Derived) that extends another class (Base).
    In the base class (Base) there is a method f() with its implementation.
    In the interface (C) there is also f() method exactlly like in the base class (Base).
    The derived class (Derived) is implements the interface (C).
    My question is:
    Do i have to implement the method f() in the derived class (Derived) ?

    My guess is that you probably have to, even if it's just to call the parent's method.
    This all sounds pretty sketchy. Why don't you just make the BASE class implement your interface?

  • ADF 11g: Client Interface method not 'visible' in create of Action Binding

    Hello!
    I have a simple AM method that I have exposed through client interface. Now I am trying to create action binding in one of the PageDef files so that I can execute some code before the page renders. This worked fine in JDEV 10g. However, for some reason when I try to create action binding and select AM, 'Operation' gets disabled and hence I am unable to use my method?
    Anyone with similar problem?

    I'm not sure what changed , but you are aware that you can do this using a bounded task flow and put your method call as start activity in the task flow before going to the page.
    If that's not what you intend to do, please describe your use case.
