Internal HFS software RAID0 causes native Windows 7 to BSOD

Hi, all!
I've got a late 2010 8 core Mac Pro, with 4x1TB drives installed internally.
Drive 1 has OSX (SL) and a Windows 7 partition, as created by Bootcamp Assistant.
Drives 2-4 are a software RAID0 stripe array formatted HFS for video media storage.
I also have a 2TB external Lacie FW800 drive that is partitioned half HFS for Time Machine, half ExFAT for interchange between the 2 OS's.
I also have Parallels Desktop installed.
I find that when I run Windows 7 through Parallels, everything seems fine. My OSX home folders & the external HFS partition appears in Windows. The stripe array doesn't, which is a pity, though i do see the drives in the Drive Management tool.
However, when I boot natively into Windows 7, I get a BSOD.
I've done a ton of research online but can't find any information at all!
Can anyone please help?

I found out, after posting, what the BSOD actually said, as I figured it'd be important... But then I found that I couldn't edit my original post! Rubbish!
Anyway, it was a Cache Manager problem. Adding that to my Googlings led me to discover that the AppleHFS driver in Windows 7 doesn't like striped HFS RAID arrays. By renaming the AppleHFS.sys to AppleHFS-disabled.sys file in the \windows\system32\drivers folder, my machine doesn't crash anymore.
Of course, I can't access ANY HFS volumes now, which *****.
This appears to have been a problem since 2009, but Apple don't seem to want to fix it. I'm currently downloading a 10 day trial of an "HFS in Windows" driver from Paragon Software. I'll report back my findings...

lo que hice fue desactivar la conexion wifi y enchufar la de clables...y me funciono..no se si era por eso..ya que a veces las conexiones wifi se interrumpen.

The driver installed through this process might have an older date, such as 15.200.1055.0 dated 7/6/2015. That's okay.

I'm having the same problem. I got error message 21. I went to apple store. they are saying i have a hardware error. Really, my phone was working before the update. Asked me for $150 to get another one when I am due to get a new one and wanted to pass this one on to my child.

I tried adding the method "close_window()" to the page, and calling that function with win.eval(), but I get the same error.
The browser in question is Firefox on Windows XP. It is running an applet in a "bare bones" windows, with no toolbars or status bars.

HDD Software RAID0 with WDC WD2500JS

Since my Quad was factory fitted with a WD2500JS Desktop class HDD, i bought a second one of that type, initially for backup purpose.
Now i want to configure them for software RAID0 (since i got another FW800 drive for backup) and read about WD's built-in error recovery functions.

It says the HDD can drop from an hardware array because of a timeout for error recovery the drive takes, and i wonder if the same could happen to the software RAID?
My last experience with apple s/w RAID in a G4 DA was not doubled performance only equal - because both HDDs were on a sinle channel -
but in the Quad this should gain well, if both SATA channels are independent, are they?
I sure will try this...
btw. does the s/w stripe divide two parallel write requests to each one of the HDDs (like h/w does)?
I'd like to forget about all this low-end stuff, if someone could point me to a PCIex SCSI (-RAID) hostadapter for G5 or a reasonable SATA one.

Might want to find a way to shorten the url so it is a "tiny url" or bracket it.
TLER has been discussed. Is only implemented on reads, and not an issue that I have ever seen or heard, despite the "warning" message... in fact, WD has had trouble with true 'hardware RAID' and issued firmware updates to correct problem back first of the year.
There are external eSATA drive enclosures, PCIe controllers. Sonnet and others for controllers and cases - you can find excellent reviews and tests over on http://www.amug.com
And yes, your two internal SATA drives are on their own independent channel.
You will find stripped RAID using Apple s/w to be fine today, each file is segmented and written to the drives in the array. There is always some overhead but you should see nearly 2x in most applications.

Where is the native Windows XP USB and display support for this $2,000 display? And no, I'm not satified with a SourceForge.net project with one developer working on WinACD (all credit to his efforts, I'm a software developer too!)

I hear what you are saying but frankly that doesn't cut it - I'm an embedded sw engineer and if you are saying that a company like Apple can't take the time to create a Windows display INF file, like they did in 1997, then something is clearly not right.

Blackberry Software Consistently Causes Latest MacBook Pro to Crash

I¹ve used the Mac Blackberry desktop software for a couple of months now and
would like it on the record that this software is very temperamental. While
it upgrades my Blackberry successfully, it causes numerous crashes when it
is left up for some time (probably more than 5 minutes). I have one of the
latest MacBook Pros and am constantly running programs such as Disk Warrior
to ensure that the machine is running smoothly. The Blackberry software is
unique in that it is one of the few pieces of software that causes my
computer to crash.
Please also note, that for users using MobileMe to update their calendars,
the MobileMe calendar file cannot be read by the Blackberry updater. Thus,
another file ³On My Mac² has to be created in order to update. Please note
that I am not currently using a data plan and that my Blackberry is updated
only by plugging it directly into the computer.
Since I am able to update my Blackberry data reasonably accurately with this
software, this is currently a workable situation for me. However, if the
problems persist and the bugs in the software aren¹t resolved, I will be
more and more tempted to get rid of the Blackberry and go with something
more reliable such as the iPhone.

I'm maintaining a Java web app that runs on a Windows server and needs to use native Windows authentication to do a pass/fail validation of a client's user/pass/domain credentials.
Currently, the app uses JNI to make a simple LogonUserW call, however JNI is causing a variety of headaches. I was wondering if Java can do Windows authentication with JAAS or Java SSO technology. I'm new to Java security APIs so any pointers are greatly appreciated.

Loading software will cause computer to crash

I had a 15GB iPod, but the hard-drive broke. I recently got an iPod mini and when I try to update the software that came with it, a message comes up on my computer saying that it hasn't been checked by Windows, and to talk to Microsoft. I'm using Windows XP. I'm afraid to continue the installation after reading all these posts about updaters causing havoc on computers and iPods. What should I do? Am I being paranoid?

Well, it has been a long road on the Win 10 upgrade. At first I got the same error message as above, but after deleting the Dolby Advanced Audio v2 in Win 10 using Control Panel Programs and Features and rebooting, I got into the continual BSOD upon reboot. Here are the steps I took to at least get stable on Windows 10. First, I rolled back to Windows 8.1 using the advanced feature in the BSOD recovery options. Once back in Win 8.1, I deleted the Dolby Advanced Audio v2 using Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. Then I downloaded the Win 10 update and re-installed it. Once that completed, I updated the Intel Graphics driver under the display adapters (on my G780 it is an Intel HD Graphics 4000, and the driver can be found at https://downloadcenter.intel.com/). Currently I am running version 10.18.10.4252 for my machine. Then, under the Device Manager, I updated the Conexant SmartAudio HD driver under the Sound, video, and game controllers. That driver is currently at 8.66.4.50 and was automatically downloaded from the web when I requested to update driver. I also changed several others settings such as Notify to schedule restart after updates are installed instead of automatic (under Settings --> Update & Security --> Advanced Options) and Do you want Windows to download driver software and realistic icons for your devices? --> No, let me choose what to do, never install driver software from Windows Update. After that, I shut down the machine, waited a moment and booted back up. I have no idea why this helped or if it is overkill, but I am stable and running without a fear of rebooting now. Hope this helps if someone else is having this same issue.

Win XP on Bootcamp no access to software RAID0 volume

I am using Win XP (SP3) on an NTFS Bootcamp volume, MacDrive v.6 installed. In Win XP I can see the single drive volumes of my MacPro, but not the software RAID0 (2*1TB=2TB) where I have the principal user accounts. Is Win XP fundamentally incapable to see Mac OSX RAIDs or is it the size of 2TB that Win cannot handle?

without MacDrive Windows XP and Vista won't be able to even see/use non-RAID OSX volumes.
But at the moment MacDrive is not useable with software RAIDs made with Disc Utility.
Only some hardware RAIDs are supported.

Unable to load php file into native window..

Im using flash cs3 as my development environment. what i was trying to do is creating a small login application using Air. I must say im still a newbie to flash air. as far as my login system concern i have managed following tasks,
1. send username ans password using post and validate through php
2. get the result back to flash application and open up a new native air window if the login is success.
3. close the login window.
now what i want to do is load my PHP application inside that newly open native window. How can i do it. I tried using Loader() method but it only worked for images not for php or html files.
