Invalid path for Microsoft Word

I had set a path for Microsoft Word as below c:
serverip\B1_SHR\WordDocs\English, but I still get the "invalid path error".
Please advice

Hi,
I have set the path like this following and nothing happened:
C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\WordDocs\English\
but when I try to use the path like you are using:
C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\B1_SHR\WordDocs\
I've got the same error message with you.
So, one of the solution is to avoid using the folder B1_SHR. The path should be used different since every users will not probably export their file in one folder.
Although you find that there is excldocs folder in the B1_SHR and you success to export to excel , it won't be available there but it will available in this path:
C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\ExclDocs\

  • Invalid path to MS-Word templates folder

    Hi all!!!
I set in System Initialisation -> General Settings -> Path -> Microsoft Word Templates Folder: "C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP Business One\WordDocs\".
When i click on the MS_WORD icon on a Sales Order i get the message "Invalid path to MS-Word templates folder".
    Why???

    Hi Gianluca,
Please try to specify Microsoft Word Templates Folder with the Language folder at the end.
    ( e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP Business One\WordDocs\English\ )
Please also check whether MS Office application is installed on the client and if these files are in the selected folder:

  • Invalid Path for target file, check if connector is deployed correctly

    Hi all,
I've got a tricky problem over here: we are using OMB scripts for generating simple extract mappings that just copy data from an oracle source table to a flat file on a directory. Up untill now ( with version 11.1 ) this did not pose any troubles, but now we are using 11.2 for the first time and we don't get the mappings to execute. Generating, validating and deploying all works fine, only executing fails with the error: "Invalid Path for target file, check if connector is deployed correctly". It ends to rapidly, so I'm assuming the problem lies in the repository and not on the database itself.
I'm pretty sure all locations are defined as needed, flat file operator in the mapping has correct location, the flat file module has the same location,...
I tried almost everything: recreate oracle module, recreate flat file module, unregister and recreate db location, unregister and recreate dir location, recreate mapping and flat file, export/import...
The strange thing is, I was able to execute a mapping once. Although it ended with an error (due to a function in the mapping), it created the file correctly. After that I needed to update the directory path of the target location and from then on, I always got the error above, and I don't see a good reason.
    Any suggestions??
    Tnx,
    Michel

    That error is displayed when the generated code fails to execute with one of the following database errors;
    UTL_FILE.INVALID_PATH
    UTL_FILE.INVALID_OPERATION
    UTL_FILE.INVALID_FILEHANDLE
So its worth checking the generated code for that map and searching for the code around UTL_FILE.FOPEN and seeing what the path and the file name in the code are. Maybe the file is created with permissions such that it can be created but not then re-written and its an OS permissions thing (such as UMASK settings).

  • INVALID PATH FOR TARGET FILE - 11g

I had several mappings that's need to run almost all of my mappings got this same error,
    OWB Owner: owb_rpo_ev04
    User Owner: owb_rpu_ev04
h2. "INVALID PATH FOR TARGET FILE, CHECK IF CONNECTOR IS DEPLOYED CORRECTLY"
-Flat File Location has been indicated
    -Locations has been deployed
    -Files Location has been deployed
    -Physical Location has been created
Two mappings is working prefectly without any error, but to several mappings the one with Flat Files Location are the one with the error when executing. I already grant permission owb_rpu_ev04 to UTL_FILE. I even create a synonym for UTL_FILE the i can used "ECT_FILE"
    Files are in FTP,

  • Need a suitable app for Microsoft word, excel

Need a suitable app for Microsoft word. Can you guys please help me out with a good app to use for access word, power point and excel? Greatly appreciate it.

There is no such animal as Office Pro 2010 for a Mac. There is either Office 2008 or 2011. Both only run on a Mac computer, not on an iPad.
What I know is that what I referred to you works on an iPad. They can read and edit Office files. Whether you will find they meet your standards I cannot say.

  • Shrink to fit for microsoft word

How to find and use 'Shrink To Fit' in Microsoft Word for mac. I have seen a few answers to this, but, none seem to grasp what 'Shrink To Fit' is. Shrink to fit allows the user to take one or more pages and shrink the content of those pages onto one page and sometimes just fewer pages. It does not as is indicated by many answers require the user to reduce  fonts or letter sizes manually or reformat the page. It simply shrinks or resizes the area over which the document is spread. For example, I have one and a half pages of printing but I want it all to reduce to one page for easy reading. For anyone who has used Microsoft WORD on a PC they understand 'Shrink To Fit' is achieved by clicking one button from the ribbon. Is this function completely missing from WORD for apple computers?

  • Custom Metadata for Microsoft Word

Since Microsoft Word has a limited property/metadata fields and there is no budget to purchase a document management system, I am thinking of storing custom metadata fields in a XML file or a database.
Can Ultra Search be configured to search the Word documents by full-text and metadata fields? If so, how?

You should start by downloading the Acrobat SDK and building the sample plugins.  This is C/C++, there is no support for .NET.
Next you will need to read the relevant section of ISO 32000-1:2008 (the PDF standard) or a book such as “Developing with PDF” (from O’Reilly).  This is required to understand how the PDF file format and objects work.
Finally, you can then start looking at the SDK documentation around the Cos and PD layers to apply to what you need to do.

  • What does Mac or apple use for microsoft word and excel?

What do I need to buy or download to get Microsoft word and excel and PowerPoint ?

Microsoft makes an Apple version of Office here:

In my humble opinion, Apple's product is better - and completely compatible with Office.  It is also about 1/2 as expensive:

  • Customized keyboard shortcuts for microsoft Word not working

    Hi,
My Macbook Pro retina 15' with an updated Yosemite iOS 10.10.1 has an american keyboard. I am trying to create keyboard shortcuts for brazilian accent marks to use in Microsoft Word. I went to "system preferences", "keyboard", "shortcuts", "App Shortcuts", added Microsoft Word and, for the brazilian accent mark " ˜ ", which in the original keyboard is obtained with "option+n", I set the shortcut "option+left arrow".
It just does not work. I created other shortcuts for other brazilian accent marks with the other arrows + control but none of them worked.
Can anyone tell me what went wrong?
    Thanks!

Amy~ Yep the lasso tool was what I verified with another user. 'L' seems to be bound indefinitely to loop through different types of lasso tools and it was annoying them because they just wanted L to be the regular freehand lasso. I removed 'L' from being an option on the polygon lasso and even set it explicitly to SHIFT+L as well as set the lasso tool to a completely different keyboard combo. 'L' still cycled through lassos haha. It needs some fixes.
fertolg~ At least you have a workaround for now. I'd go nuts if I couldn't use keyboard text selection writing code, oy! You're welcome and if you're all set please mark correct so we can filter unanswered. Good luck!
