Invalid Web Location URL

We have WebCenter Content along with Imaging. At one point we had enable SSL and not it is disabled again. The issue that we are facing is the URL generated for Web Location is still using SSL [HTTPS instead of HTTP] and is also missing PORT. This is happening only for Imaging content. Other WebCenter contend generate correct URL.
e.g.
WebCenter Content Host:Port:  http://wccdev:16200/cs
                  Imaging Host:Port: http://wccdev:16000/imaging
Content checked in WebCenter Content will generate correct Web Location URL [Protocol: HTTP, Port: 16200]
http://wccdev:16200/cs/groups/hremployee/documents/document/zgv2/mdaz/~edisp/dev003895.pdf
But the content checked in Imaging generates the following Web Location URL [Protocol: HTTPS, Port: 443]
https://wccdev/imaging/faces/Pages/UrlTools.jspx?ToolName=AWVWR&DocumentId=13.IPM_004146
Instead of [Protocol: HTTP, Port: 16000]
http://wccdev:16000/imaging/faces/Pages/UrlTools.jspx?ToolName=AWVWR&DocumentId=13.IPM_004146
We have SSL disabled for both Content and Imaging server in Weblogic Console.
Thank you for any information that you can provide
Sid

Yes, we see this issue even with new checked-in contents
We are using native UI but the content is actually checked in using imaging API. We have two environments Dev and Test and this issue is only in Dev. We are using the same application to do the checking in both enviornment.
We are using out of the box Imaging Rule
     Vault Path: $#env.VaultDir$/$xIdcProfile$/$dDocType$/$dDocAccount$/$dispersion$/$dID$$ExtensionSeparator$$dExtension$
     Weblayout Directory: [$FsWeblayoutDir$ in Web-viewable Path]: $#env.WeblayoutDir$
Dispersion Rule [$dispersion$ in Web-viewable and vault Path]: $dDocName[-9:-6:0:b]/$dDocName[-6:-3:0:b]
     Web-viewable Path: $FsWeblayoutDir$groups/$dSecurityGroup$/$dDocAccount$/documents/$dDocType$/$dispersion$/$endDispMarker$/$dDocName$$RenditionSpecifier$$RevisionLabel$$ExtensionSeparator$$dWebExtension$
HttpWebRoot and URL Prefix[$FsHttpWebRoot$ in Web URL File Path]: $HttpWebRoot$
     Web URL File Path: $FsHttpWebRoot$groups/$dSecurityGroup$/$dDocAccount$/documents/$dDocType$/$dispersion$/$endDispMarker$/$dDocName$$RenditionSpecifier$$RevisionLabel$$ExtensionSeparator$$dWebExtension$
Yes, if we manually make the URL non HTTPS and add the imaging port [16000], the URL works
Thank you

  • "invalid web service URL" error for create web service system

    Hi.
I want to call web service in visual composer and try to create Web Service definition.
When I push create button in visual composer, I got "invalid web service URL" error.
My web service is located in SAP ABAP System and I can check WSDL URL in web service homepage.
Any ideas for this error ?

  • Web Location URLs for Office 2007 documents (pptx, xlsx, docx) not working

In our current Content Server solution implemented, each content has a Web Location URL and a Native File associated with it. The Web Location URL(for a content in Public security group) is of the following format:
    http://ucmurl/groups/public/intranetcontent/CONTENT_ID.doc
So far when a user clicks on this link, they are just presented with an 'Open' 'Save' dialog box, which clearly shows that UCM identifies this file format. So for a Word 2003 document called test.doc, the Open-Save dialog box says:
    Name: test.doc
    Type: Microsoft Word document..etc.
The behaviour is the same for all Office 2003 documents, pdfs and images. However, it seems like UCM does not identify Office 2007 documents. When I check-in a content - test.pptx, and click on the Web Location URL, it prompts me to Open/Save a 'ZIP' file, which is what UCM does for any unidentified file formats.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
The file formats under configuration manager have been updated to include the following formats with PASSTHRU conversion (since we dont need any conversion on these):
    pptx: application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.presentationml.presentation
    docx: application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document
    xlsx: application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet
The desired functionality is that when the user clicks on web location url, UCM should identify these file formats, and NOT consider them as ZIP files. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try these - if you're using IIS. If not, them something similar should fix.
Update IIS to include additional MIME types
Also, if you want to add all of the Microsoft Office 2007 mime-types to IIS in one step you can do this:
    1. Stop IIS
    2. Edit the metabase XML file (C:\WINDOWS\system32\inetsrv\MetaBase.xml) using a text editor.
    3. Search for the <IIsMimeMap Location="/LM/MimeMap" …> element and append the lines below to the MimeMap attribute
    .docm,application/vnd.ms-word.document.macroEnabled.12
    .docx,application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document
    .dotm,application/vnd.ms-word.template.macroEnabled.12
    .dotx,application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.template
    .potm,application/vnd.ms-powerpoint.template.macroEnabled.12
    .potx,application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.presentationml.template

    .ppsm,application/vnd.ms-powerpoint.slideshow.macroEnabled.12
    .ppsx,application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.presentationml.slideshow
    .pptm,application/vnd.ms-powerpoint.presentation.macroEnabled.12
    .pptx,application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.presentationml.presentation
    .xlam,application/vnd.ms-excel.addin.macroEnabled.12
    .xlsb,application/vnd.ms-excel.sheet.binary.macroEnabled.12
    .xlsm,application/vnd.ms-excel.sheet.macroEnabled.12
    .xlsx,application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet
    .xltm,application/vnd.ms-excel.template.macroEnabled.12
    .xltx,application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.template
    4. Save the C:\WINDOWS\system32\inetsrv\MetaBase.xml file
    5. Start IIS

  • Invalid Web service URL

    Hi All,
While creating a model in VC7.0 based on an external webservice(ex: http://api.google.com/GoogleSearch.wsdl), I ended-up with Invalid Web service URL error.
Note: When I access the same  WSDL URL using browser it didn't ask me for user authentication, the XML file was opened neatly.
    Please assist.
FYI- Portal Version is NW2004s SP16.
    Kind regards,
    Vijay

    Hi Fabien,
    Thanks for your feedback.
Yes, I had tried with simple and local one, and found success in that as well.
But, this time I would like to create a model based on the some 3rd party webservice available in internet.
If you know few simple 3rd party webservice available in internet as like the one I have mentioned in my initial post, that would be helpful to me.
    Many thanks.
    Kind regards,
    Vijay

  • Invalid Web Service URL Error

I am trying to access define a new webservice system using the WSDL for my local queryview web service.  When I put in the WSDL URL it comes back with a "Invalid Web Service URL" error.  If I put the URL in the Browser address, it successfully brings back the web service information.  Any ideas why I can't define this web service system?
    http://<server>:8001/sap/bw/xml/soap/queryview?sap-client=040&wsdl=1.1
<server> is a token for posting concerns...
    Thanks!

I am imagining that the BW QUERY_VIEW_DATA web service complies to the Basic Profile 1.0.
And I don't quite understand this part?
<i>In addition, connections to Web services for SAP backend systems must be performed via logical destinations (configured in the SAP J2EE engine with the Visual Administrator) and not via portal systems</i>
Since the QUERY_VIEW_DATA Web Service resides on my BW system is the BW system considered a SAP backend system?  Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

  • Where to get Informat about Web Location link filed displayed

    HI,
We have installed the server on 7780 port long before. We have changed that port number to 80 and application link also has been redirected in apache using Virtual Host concept.
Now Web Location link which is displayed in Content Info page is pointing to our old port number and old link. How I can configure that link to display the redirected url and new port number.
Please let me know where to Configure that Web Location URL path in Content Information page of every asset in server.
    Thanks.

You need to update the HttpServerAddress in config.cfg - just remove the :7780 and it should work to port 80 or alternatively change the port to whatever new number you are using.
e.g. to point to port 8000 change
    HttpServerAddress=myhost:7780
    to
    HttpServerAddress=myhost:8000
    Hope that helps

  • Regarding Web Location link

    Hi,
when checking content in from IPM, there is a Web Location link displayed in the content information page of UCM.
In my case, the Web Location link is https://localhost:16001/imaging/faces/Pages/UrlTools.jspx?ToolName=AWVWR&DocumentId=2.IPM_000005
and there is no native link displayed in the content info page.
Any one has an idea on how the Web Location Url is computed for IPM files and how to control the display of URL(instead of https if i need http)? How to enable the Native Link for IPM files also?

The link calls the Image Viewer, which enables context-full annotations to unmodifiable images. This is the preferred way how images should be displayed. I think the viewer contains an option to display no annotations, if needed.
With no SSL Imaging runs at the port 16000. I'd expect that SSL/no SSL selection is made sometimes during the installation and should be configurable at later times.
I'm not sure if anything like a web-viewable format is created for images. If so, or if you need the native file, you should be able to obtain them if you know dDocName (ContentID) or dID. For web-viewable, check how URL is constructed for non-imaging files - it'll be something like http://localhost:16200/.... and for native files you might have to use the GET_FILE service.
However, to access you images I'd strongly recommend to use Imaging's URI (http://localhost:16000/... or https://localhost:16001/...)

  • How to fix 'Unexpected error: Incorrect value: Location URL' in WSDL

    Hi All,
Using SOAMANAGER  transaction, I created a service ECC_CUSTOMERQUOTEERPCRTRC and its binding 'ECC_CUSTOMERQUOTEERPCRTRC_binding' using the Create Service option under the tab Configurations and using the web service definition 'ECC_CUSTOMERQUOTEERPCRTRC'.  When I click on the link "Open WSDL document for selected binding" under the tab 'Overview', I get the following XML code in the popup window for the WSDL.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello.
In SOAMANAGER delete your "unexpected" service (endpoint).
    Then create it again.
If same error will occurs - try to delete all definitions of this service (include sicf-transaction) and then create it completely again.
    Hope it helps.

    Luis,
    Have you tried this?
Navigate to the schedule PDP, in the browser address bar, append the string
    ?Contents=1, like thus:
    https://<your PWA Address>/Project%20Detail%20Pages/Schedule.aspx?Contents=1
This will open the Webpart Maintenance page. Now, select the Details
webpart, and Delete it. Once done, navigate bacjk to the webpart page, edit page, and re-add the Details Webpart to the page.
    This should fix your issue.

  • How get SPWeb object from web exact url

    Hi,
I have site collection object and its sub-web exact url. I want to get SPWeb object by using exact web url. I try SPSite.OpenWeb(string, bool) function by passing this excat url, but it throw an exception ie invalid character near ':'.
    SPSite.url = http://servername/site1
subsite url is http://servername/site1/site2/site3. I need web object against subsite url.

    Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Steven's answer help me.
I also learned one more thing here. By providing your current web's exact url in SPSite constructor will create an instance of site of current web. But site.OpenWeb() will return the web object corresponding to provided url, not the web object of site url.
    using(SPSite site = new SPSite("http://servername/site1/site2/site3"))
          using(SPWeb web = site.OpenWeb())
Here  site Url is http://servername/ and site.OpenWeb() return SPweb object against "http://servername/site1/site2/site3".

  • SSO Exception Invalid Session: Service URL not found:session

I am running AM 7 (installed from JES) under Sun Web Server 6.1.
The Policy Agent is installed in Tomcat 5.5 (on the same box).
I am getting the exception: SSO Exception Invalid Session: Service URL not found:session
when I try to run the SSO Serlvet example.
I have searched the forum and found many people get this error and the advice seems to be check the config file. The Agent config file (AMAgent.properties) has all the right parameters in it (matches the server just fine because I authenticate before getting to the serlvet).
I've tried to set the naming url thru the JVM command line args and programatically. I've been thru the client SDK install chapter many times.
    Still getting the same error.
    Help!
    Jason

More info: I set the debug level in the AM server to message and in the amSSOProvider log, I get several Invalid Session ID.
How could this be when I just successfully authenticated???
I can also go to other protected web pages, and AM does not force me to reauthenticate, so obviously the cookie is good.
    Any help would be appreciated.

  • I lost my locator URL bar and my google window at top right of screen

Can not type a new address as there is no longer a Locator (URL) Window at top center of my browser. I can't type the address of a web site, and that's serious. Not so serious my Google search window at right top corner is gone, but if I had that I might find a way to recover the locator bar. HELP!

If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, that should make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
    * If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
    * If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
    * If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.
