Invoke any operation from inside a webmethod

I think it is a easy problem but I can't solve it:
<br>
<p>
I like to generate with JWS a WSDL-file:
<br><p>
----------ANT Snip ----------------------<br>
<target name="build-service"><br>
<jwsc srcdir="${basedir}../../" destdir="../../output/${ear.deployed.name}"><br>
<jws file="/${packageName}/${javaClassName}"/><br>
</jwsc><br>
</target><br>
<br>
---------------------------------------<br>
<br><p>
I don't like to use user defined Types her. I want only invoke any operation from my Web Service Method if it is invoked.
<br>
My actually not worked code snip:
<br>
---------------------------------------------------<br>
<br>
..........................<br>
<br>
@WebService(name="anyPortType",<br>
serviceName="anyService",<br>
targetNamespace="http://example.org" )<br>
<br>
@SOAPBinding(style=SOAPBinding.Style.RPC,<br>
use=SOAPBinding.Use.LITERAL)<br>
<br>
@WLHttpTransport(portName="commuPort",<br>
contextPath="anyclient",<br>
serviceUri="anyclientimpl")<br>
<br>
public class HelloWorldImpl {
<p>
@WebMethod(operationName="persistMyData")<br>
public void invokeAnyMethod(com.any.AnyClass aClass){<br>
// invokeAnyMethod may persists Data or any thing else ....<br>
// notice: a user defined type "AnyClass" do not produce errors<br>
<b>Tools.invokeAnyMethod(aClass); <-- localized problem </b><br>
<br>
<br> <p>
..................................... <br>
<br>
} <br>
<br>
But it produce following compling-errors: <br>
<br>
C:\..\build.xml:54: Compile failed; see the compiler error output for details.

Can somebody help me please? It needs a simple solution I think.

Hi Peter,
From the example in MSDN, It means when you  declare a variable within a try or catch block, the variable is instantiated upon entrance to the block and marked for fear-down as the logic exits the block.This means any variables declared within a try
block will only be visible in the try block and not outside of it- like in the catch block.
The following links will help you understand more.
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/scottwil/archive/2005/03/21/400140.aspx
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/csharpfaq/archive/2004/08/12/how-to-keep-a-local-variable-in-scope-across-a-try-and-catch-block.aspx
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/94977/why-arent-variables-declared-in-try-in-scope-in-catch-or-finally
>> I think putting a "return" in the catch block above may make the compiler error go away.
No, the return statement terminates execution of the method in which it appears and returns control to the calling method. If the method is a
void type, the return statement can be omitted. The best way is Declare your variables before the try block.
Best wishes!
Kristin

  • Invoking binding operation from backing bean -- no data displayed in ADF table ?

    Hello experts, I have data control derived from  Web Service proxy client.  In this data control,  I have  multi record list derived from web service call.In my ADF page,  I have bunch of input components with many drop down lists and radio buttons, check boxes etc.
    Finally  I want to transfer user input to   data control.   In my  ADF page,  I  have mapped  the  result set of data conrol to  ADF table.
    When I click submit button,  the   input data from ADF page is passed to data control  operation.   In the bean method,  I am making use of   operationBinding.execute()  and operationBinding.getParamsMap().put().     I see it is fetching data by checking getResult().
    I am invoking partial trigger also on the table.  However, table is not getting populated with the data.
    please help me.     Jdeveloper verion is 11.1.1.6.     I have set "Refresh" attribute to "never"  for  iterator in the bindings tab.    But no luck.  I see that control coming to data control and calling web service and getting the data  and then it comes back to my bean method submit() and I see that getResult() is showing records fetched.   But  why  the table on ADF page is not showing the data ?
    thanks a lot in advance.

    I still not able to get  my table updated with  data.  If  I set   "Refresh"  to  "ifNeeded",  soon after coming out of  submit  method of bean, it again tries to execute the web service call in the  data control  and brings empty result since the search parameters are empty.  I do not know why it goes again to data control method.    So, when I hit submit button,  the bean method calls  operationBidnding.execute() and before this I set the parameters also.    After execute(),  addPartialTarget() gets executed and it comes out of submit.   At this time, it is supposed to go to ADF page.  But I see  that  it tries to execute  method in data control with empty parameters.   This is ridiculous.    It neither works with "never", nor with "ifNeeded".
    I see many forums on this issue but no solution found...all those forums are not answered.  This looks like it is a bug in ADF table not able to refresh from  managed bean !!!!
    thanks

    If so, are there any security considerations?

    you are right the file adapter doesnt invoke any bpel
    process, instead it is polling the file from
    directory location?If it is polling for new files, shouldn't it create a new instance of the BPEL process automatically the moment it finds a new file? In other words, should a new file trigger an instance of the BPEL process rather than being started from PL/SQL?
    Can this file adapter not be invoked as bpel process
    in that case?The file adapter is part of a BPEL process. The BPEL process can be invoked from e.g. PL/SQL.
    In this case this file adapeter return to an RECEIVE
    activity...I think this receive cannot be invoked as
    a BPEL process rite?Can you explain what you mean with this?
    Also , will all synchronous request return "TIMEOUT"
    error, if tried to invoke from pl/sql?Only if the synchronous process instance takes more time to complete (and thus to return) than the value specified for a time-out to occur. If the instance completes in for example 10 ms and the time-out time is specified as 30 seconds, no time-out will occur.

    When ever I try to watch any video, from a link or YouTube say, using Firefox, I get a message ‘An error as occurred. Please try again later’. It has been this way for some weeks. I don’t have this problem using Safari or Opera.

    I believe that our “Werbung problem” adds an additional second hyperlink to the pop-up window. This second link is activated whenever you trigger a saved hyperlink to a Mail.com site.
    I had the same problem and eliminated it by deleting all bookmarks, hyperlinks and automatic links that take firefox to a mail.com address. So I just deleted all bookmarks I had saved for mail.com. I also changed my home page link because it also went to my email at mail.com. I then did a warm boot, opened firefox and re-saved my bookmarks and homepage to the desired addresses. Good luck.

  • Invoking operations from a jsp correlation error

    Hi, I’m a student in Informatics at the University of Turin (Italy).
    On December I’m graduating and so I’m finishing my stage about web services and BPEL, that actually is the object of my thesis.
    To realize my stage I’ve used the Oracle BPEL Process Manager and I’ve created an asynchronous process whose port types are the following.
    <!-- portType implemented by the NewYorkPrenotazione BPEL process -->
    <portType name="NewYorkPrenotazione">
    <operation name="initiate">
    <input message="tns:NewYorkPrenotazioneRequestMessage"/>
    </operation>
    <operation name="complete">
    <input message="tns:DatiUtenteMessage"/>
    </operation>
    </portType>
    <!-- portType implemented by the requester of NewYorkPrenotazione BPEL process for asynchronous callback purposes -->
    <portType name="NewYorkPrenotazioneCallback">
    <operation name="onResult">
    <input message="tns:NewYorkPrenotazioneResponseMessage"/>
    </operation>
    </portType>
    My problem is very simple. If I invoke my process from the BPEL console and then complete it with the “complete” operation (always from the console), everything goes right and the process completes successfully.
    Instead, if I want to invoke and complete my process by jsps it doesn’t work because of correlation problems. To invoke it from my jsp I use the instruction
    deliveryService.post("NewYorkPrenotazione", "initiate", nm);
    and that’s ok, but after that I can’t invoke the second operation, “complete”, from another jsp using the same signature, because the server can’t find the right instance of my process since I’m indicating only the processId while it needs the instance id.
    The top of the stack is the following.
    500 Internal Server Error
    java.rmi.RemoteException: Correlation definition not registered.
    The correlation set definition for operation "complete", process "NewYorkPrenotazione", has not been registered with the process domain.
    Please try to redeploy your process to the process domain.

    How can I resolve my correlation problem?

    Sorry, but I think there are problems with copy and paste, 'cause I can see that in my preview.

    I've already moved everything from my computer to my external hard drive, but for some reason I'm having a hard time being able to open the iTunes program every time I'm trying to open it on a different computer. I'm having to continuously uninstall and reinstall to be able to use it. I use my computer at home mostly but i also use my friends computer, and sometimes computers at school. Are there any files or anything that would enable be to be able to use it on any operating system or how can I get it working?

    No, no, no... that is extremely bad advice.
    Programs get installed on the main drive of the computer.  Never install a program on a removable drive unless that program has been specificially designed to run on a removable drive.
    Install iTunes on the computer as you normally would.
    Once installed, hold SHIFT and launch iTunes.
    When prompted select the option to point iTunes to an existed library.
    Then point iTunes to the external drive.
    Anytime you want to access the drive on a new computer, launch iTunes in the same fashion pointing it to the external drive.

    In the 6.1 client, I've established a WebServiceProxy and set the userName and password to the proper values, but I can't seem to get past the security.
    If there something special I need to do on either the 8.1 securing side or on the 6.1 accessing side to make this work?

  • How can I update cluster items from inside a while loop that does not contain the cluster?

    I have a VI that contains front panel clusters and two while loops. The main cluster contains items such as a doubles "distance" and "stepsize" and boolean "step" (a whole buch of this type stuff). The first loop contains an event structure to detect front panel changes and the second contains code and sub VIs to perform operations based on detected events.
    The operator can enter data into either double or click the boolean. If distance is changed the second loop does what is required to process the change. The same happens with stepsize. If step is clicked the ±stepsize value is added to distance and the result is processed. In each case the front panel should track the result of the input and subsequent processing.
    Because the clusters are outside the while loop, they are not updated unless I click 'highlight execution' which seems to allow updating each time the execution highlight is updated. There are other issues if I move the clusters into one of the loops.
    I've tried referencing the clusters and using local variables and nothing works. It looks like overkill to use shared variables for this.
    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Frank

    Hi Ben,
    Thank you for the response. I followed the link and tried reading everything you posted on AEs but I'm afraid that I didn't understand it all. It seems that each AE example had a single input and a single output (e.g. a double). Is this the case?
    What I have is a couple of front panel clusters containing (approximately) 18 control doubles, 8 indicator doubles, 5 boolean radio button constructs and 26 boolean control discretes. I clusterized it to make it readable. In addition I'll eventually have a cluster of task references for hardware handles.
    All I want to do is update the front panel values like I would do in a C, VB or any other language. I've tried referencing the cluster and using the reference from inside the loops. I've tied using local variables. Neither works. I'm experimenting with globals but it seems that I have to construct the front panel in the gloabal and then I wouldn't know how to repoduce that on the front panel of the main VI.  Sometimes it seems that more time is spent getting around Labview constructs than benefitting from them.
    I hope the 'Add Attachment' function actuals puts a copy of the VI here and not a link to it.
    Thanks again for the suggestion,
    Frank

    Hi, how are you?
    I did works including a parameter in my scenario and put value in this parameter on call scenario from BPEL. If i remove the parameter on the scenario and the call, its dont works.
    Try include a parameter in your scenario.

  • Invoke secured WS from BPEL

    Hello,
    My problem is:
    I have deployed a composite application where the interface is Web Service with Policy wss_username_token_service_policy. I want to invoke that web service from another composite application through BPEL. In other words invoke secured web service from BPEL.
    I've created Partner Link and added:
    <property name="wsseHeaders">propagate</property>
    <property name="wsseUsername">weblogic1</property>
    <property name="wssePassword">welcome1</property>
    I've read many topics about my problem, even I've done http://soa-howto.blogspot.com/2008/04/invoking-ws-security-compliant-web.html
    but it doesn't work.
    What should I do?
    Here is some code:
    composite.xml
    <reference name="validateIdentifier"
    ui:wsdlLocation="http://maciek:8001/soa-infra/services/default/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifierWebService.wsdl">
    <interface.wsdl interface="http://oracle.com/sca/soapservice/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifierWebService#wsdl.interface(execute_ptt)"/>
    <binding.ws port="http://oracle.com/sca/soapservice/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifierWebService#wsdl.endpoint(validateIdentifierWebService/execute_pt)"
    location="http://maciek:8001/soa-infra/services/default/validateIdentifier/validateIdentifierWebService?WSDL">
    <property name="oracle.webservices.auth.username" type="xs:string"
    many="false" override="may">weblogic1</property>
    <property name="oracle.webservices.auth.password" type="xs:string"
    many="false" override="may">welcome1</property>
    </binding.ws>
    </reference>
    And here is error from Weblogic EM:
    The selected operation execute could not be invoked.

    The service invoked directly through Weblogic 11 EM with WSS username token works correctly. But when it is invoked in BPEL from another Composite - the input for secured service is an output from the first service doesn't work.
    I think something wrong is with properities. I've also added BS username and password.
    Any clues?
    Could you write a SOAP Header for SOAPui?

I thought it fit to - first use a Eclipse based Webservice explorer to research a little bit. I am able to connect to the webservice, see all the function it exposes. I am able to get a systemguid when I invoke the operation 'RequestSystemGuid' . But when I use this to get a list of unclosed incident - I get the following error. I am posting the Soap Response here. Could any please tell me what is it that I have to do at the SAP Sol Man end to make sure that I get the list of unclosed incidents ? I am invoking the web service from Eclipse on my lap top. Let me know if you need more information ?
