IO Error after FileReference.upload()

I was working with FileReference to upload to an server and
the upload was successfully completed, but for some reason I was
getting an IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR after the upload and the
Event.COMPLETE / DataEvent.COMPLETE do not dispatch.
I found the solution to create an .htaccess file with:
SECFILTERENGINE OFF
SECFILTERSCANPOST OFF
... but my host will not do this.
Is there a way to fix it?

I've not seen this problem. Could you please provide a little
more information? What is the backend server platform you're using?
PHP, ColdFusion, ASP, ... ?
Also, have you listened to the HTTP_RESPONSE_STATUS event,
and examined some the status property?

Validation error after File upload

HI,
I am using a file upload functionality in OAF page.
When i browse for the required excel file and click on browse, the data is popluated on the oaf page.
I have 2 lov fields on page - say a & B.
B is a dependent LOV on A.
I have a validate button on my page which gets enabled only after file upload and validates if the data is correct or not.
The issue is like if i am having value in upload file for A as 1 and for B as 1800, but my LOV B has 2 values 1800 & 1800-01 for LOV A = 1, it gives me an error at that LOV "Select a Valid Value". If i open the LOV B window and select 1800 from it the data is correctly validated without any error.
Please help me that how can i rectify this error i.e. it should validate the data corrrectly if i pass the value 1800 to it thru excel sheet.

See take an example of Employee name LOV .We know for every employee a unique emp Id is related to it.So if two person are having same name also then also their ID is different.In such cases , while creating LOV we create a FormValue for EmpID .Its not visible on Page but while validating the page formValues are also considered thereby it doesnot cause invalid value error...
In Your case, what you can do is the way you are populating the LOV field you can populate this FormValue to remove the Error.

Filereference.upload ... works on localserver but not on webserver

hello;
I'm uploading images via filereference.upload ... works fine when testing on local machine with apache. once I port everything to my web-based server ( shared server with a webhosting company ), the upload fails.
- do not get any errors such as SECURITY_ERROR , HTTP_STATUS , IO_ERROR
- do get 1 PROGRESS event - only 1 - but it already shows 100%
- do get COMPLETE event after a couple of seconds
- do not get UPLOAD_COMPLETE_DATA, but do get it on localhost
- do not get the image on the remote server
- my local php is 5.2 ... webserver php is 4.4 ...
- I have tried setting 757 as file permissions for image directory
- all php, swf, image directories are in the same domain, though in different directories.
- I have tried uploading the image to the same directory as php directory itself
any thoughts?

Syntax error in program "SAPLXVVA ".
What happened?
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLVKMP" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
In program "SAPLXVVA ", the following syntax error occurred
in the Include "ZXVVAU04 " in line 5:
"The last statement is not complete (period missing)."
Author and last person to change the Include are:
Author "SAPUSER "
Last changed by "SAPUSER "
What can you do?
Please eliminate the error by performing a syntax check
(or an extended program check) on the program "SAPLXVVA ".
You can also perform the syntax check from the ABAP/4 Editor.
If the problem persists, proceed as follows:
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
date.

Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.

2. A suitable printout of the system log
To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.

3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
supply the source code.
To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->

Could you please be more clearer as to how do you want me to proceed so that this syntax error stops bothering me while creating a standard order thru TCode VA01.Also what do you mean by "well comment the code in the include and activate the include"
I created a projet in CMOD and than added the enhancement V45A0002.The components shown as EXIT_SAPMV45A_002(Predefined sold to party when making the standard order),i double click on the exit and entered into the function module.After that i double clicked on the include ZXVVZU04 and entered in and wrote E_KUNNR=100171
While activating i got error msg 'The last statement is not complete (period missing)." & i have saved inspite the error .After that i tried to create a order and program terminated error came after entering sold to party no. in sales order
so now i have deactivated the project which i created in CMOD & deleted the project also inspite of this i am getting the program terminated error while making the order
I would be great ful if somebody helps me *** out of this syntax error.

PO attachment error - Read error during PC upload

Hi Gurus,
I am getting the error when I am trying to attach any file in ME22N, by clicking the services for object button, create attachment, and select the attachment.
The error message is "Read error during PC upload" and "The attachemnt has not been created".
The system is upgraded to ECC 6 last year and have not tried this function before.

They are not using any interfaces (EDI), no idocs. They are using either fax or email and post modes only.
After saving the PO, we can able to attach the documents by clicking the services for object button in ME22N. But I am not able to attach the document to PO.

Flex 3 - CF9 filereference.upload test

Hi
i run a filereference.upload test flex application which uploads a file through a coldfusion server.
i’m using flex 3 and coldfusion 9.
i’m also passing parameters in the URLRequest that points to the upload cfm file.
when i run my test using the built-in web server (Jrun) all seems to work just fine
when i run the same test on a coldfusion instance that runs on Apache web server, it throws a I/O Error…
i suspect i’m missing some kind of a configuration i need to perform when moving to a production setup rather then a development environment…
can anyone guide me through this?
does it have to do with security? on the client? on the server?
i’m still running on localhost…

If you want to test against another implementation, I wrote a Flex Upload component and CFML script a while back. I've used it regularly on IIS and Apache server (and my localhost) without having to modify the configuration at all. Speaking of the config, Daverns could be totally right ... and this post is not to refute or argue the point about Mod_Security; rather, its only meant as another options to test, since you were having trouble with it on the production server.
The attached Zip archive contains three files: FileUpload.mxml, SampleUsage.mxml, and fileUpload.cfm. The files are heavily commented but feel free to ping me if you have any issues with it.

Read Error During PC Upload

Hi Experts,
When I attempt to attach a document to a PO (ME21N/ME22N) I get an error message say:
Read Error During PC Upload : Include File in PC Application
The funny thing is, some users can make attachments, others cannot. Is this a profile or authorization issue?

Hi Steven,
You cannot attach a file in ME21N trxn using Services for Object. For this you have to come out of Trxn ME21N after saving Po and again go to ME22N trxn code and in Menu System - Select Services for Object and Attach your File.
Be sure the File is not in use and closed.

FileReference.upload() not working in Firefox

Hi,
i have a strange problem - my Flex application uses the FileReference.upload() to upload images to the server. ServerSideScript ist pure PHP.
It is working in IE but not in FF
Any help is really appreciated since i'm running out of ideas...

"Page Not Found" Error after arnd 5 mins of processing on SAP Trans iView

Hello All,
We are facing an issue related to a SAP Transaction iView on our portal.
This transaction is supposed to upload an excel file in RPM and provide a log after the upload is performed. We are trying to upload around 180 projects and the processing goes on in the backend. The program in the backend works as required, but as the iView shows a page not found after around 5-6 mins of processing, the users cannot see the logs in the end!
I suppose there should be some kind of time-out parameter for the Transaction type iView, but we are not able to figure it out!!
We have tried the following parameters without success:
icm/server_port_0     = PROT=HTTP, PORT=8035, TIMEOUT=3600, PROCTIMEOUT=3600
icm/keep_alive_timeout (sec.) = 3600
icm/conn_timeout                = 5000
rdisp/plugin_auto_logout       = 1800
Please do suggest if there is anything else that we need to update to get this process to continue on the Portal and avoid the 'Page Not Found' issue.

Thank you for the quick reply. I will surely try the option suggested by you.
But what i was thinking is that as this is not a Connection Time Out (500) error, instead its a Page Not Found error, it would be Session-Timeout and not Connection Time-Out.
Maybe I should be looking at:
SESSION-TIMEOUT due to kernel:
    Kernel parameter:    rdisp/gui_auto_logout
    Kernel parameter:    rdisp/plugin_auto_logout
as per the SAP OSS Note: 705013
But again, I think this Note is pointing to the SICF service and IAC type of iView and not SAP Transaction type iView. Please advice.

Just for the record:
I had received the error message "An error occurred while uploading one of your files. Please check your network connection and click Retry to resend your file" after all data apparently had been uploaded.
After trying everything recommended on the internet, I finally found the culprit: Glimmerblocker, an ad blocker!
(GlimmerBlocker version 1.4.16, Mac OS X 10.7.2 Lion)
Actually, the credit goes to the very patient German Apple support: they had finally asked me: "what software have you installed lately" ... a big applause to the guys there!

In our case, it was not third party software, but a problem with our router not accepting pings. If you are using a router be sure to set-up Enable WAN Ping Respond, in the advanced settings. I reviewed my wireless router's logs and found that it was blocking ICMP Type 3 packets from Apple's server. As a result, it would give the message, "An error occurred while uploading one of your files. Please check your network connection and click Retry to resend your file." You can find the blocked packets in your log based on the time you clicked the buy button for your iPhoto purchase (in my case about a dozen times). If your packets are blocked, then that is your problem.
I should have suspected it was the connection since the message plainly said, "...check your network connection...". However, I discounted this along with so many others based on the forums, since I could connect to the internet. If there only was a way the message could have gave a little more saying, "Enable your WAN Ping Respond now, or else!"

HTTP 404 error after changed tablespace and password of schema FLOWS_FILES

Hi I have a problem of having HTTP 404 not found error for file upload in my apex app by submiting a page. When it goes to http://xxx.xxx.xxx:8080/apex/wwv_flow.accept after unlocked , changed password and change tablespace for the account FLOWS_FILES.
Is there anyone can help ?

Yes, I have modified the bug tracker application to support file upload by using a file browser object and created a "file_upload" table under the workspace schema to keep the linkage with the table WWV_FLOW_FILE_OBJECTS$. The application works fine before but after I realize that the FLOWS_FILES schema can be unlocked and the free space in default tablespace SYSAUX has almost been used up more than 99%, so I first unlock the account FLOWS_FILES, then changed the password and move the table WWV_FLOW_FILE_OBJECTS$ to tablespace FLOW_1 and changed the default tablespace and then rebuilt the index. I have moved the table back to SYSAUX tablespace now and have rebuilt the index also. However, upload a file and then press 'apply change' in the 'create issue log details' page, it gets the error HTTP 404 but if I do not attach any file. It goes without an error. The only thing I changed is on the database side of the FLOWS_FILES schema, so I think the problem resides on it but I don't know why even I moved the table WWV_FLOW_FILE_OBJECTS$ back to SYSAUX, rebuilt the index but still it doesn't work.
Is that good even explanation ?
btw, I am using IIS and how can I see the webserver error ?

Error during Initial Upload from ECC to CRM

Hi All,
I am getting an error while initial upload of BPs from ECC to CRM.
I have BP groupings defined in ECC. I had set the filter settings for a particular BP group(e.g. ZSIR). BP upload to CRM was successful. But, when I changed the filter setting to another BP group(ZDAC) those BPs were not copied to CRM.
what might be the problem ?
If anyone has any documents on initial & delta upload kindly forward it to me at [email protected]

Hi geetha check for the whther all the bp Data is down loaded or any thing missing after down loading to crm if that is the case due to data inconsistenmcy this ttype of error will occur, so you have to synchronize the both bp data
manually after delta down loading.synchronization

Antivirus software breaks FileReference.upload() method...

Hi there,
I'm a Flash developer who's run into an interesting problem since upgrading to AVG 9 (free antivirus software).
I use Flash to facilitate large uploads to websites (eg. video). I've built plently of upload widgets that use Flash's FileReference.upload() method to send a file from a users computer to a webserver.
It seems that since upgrading to AVG 9, the bytesLoaded property of a ProgressEvent is being updated at warp speed - a 30mb file appears sent to a server in less than a second! Which is ridiculous. So in an instant, the bytesLoaded property equals the bytesTotal property. Seemingly an arbitrarily time later, the Event.COMPLETE event fires (I think this arbitrarial illusion is caused by the upload continuing in the background). If everything was running as it's supposed to, this should generally be followed by a DataEvent.UPLOAD_COMPLETE_DATA event firing. But now, because of all this weirdness, no DataEvent.UPLOAD_COMPLETE_DATA event is firing.
After a bit of websurfing I found other developers having problems with this because of virus software - so I've uninstalled AVG and "voila!", Flash now works as it is supposed to when uploading a file again.
I guess I could build a polling timer into my uploader to continually ping the server to check that my upload had complete and grab my upload complete data that way, but that'd be annoying as heck.
Any ideas what's going on? This is kind of a massive problem, ProgressEvent returning bogus bytesLoaded data, isn't it?

I agree in disabling the LinkScanner. Open AVG User Interface, Dbl click on the LinkScanner and Untick the "Enable AVG Search-Shield" and the "Enable Active Surf-Shield" then SAVE the changes made.
