You need to copy the iTunes liubrary from your Old computer, or its Backup, to your New computer...

Or...
From your Old Computer... Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

Why are my itunes-synced songs and pictures are incomplete (corrupted) when transfered to my iPhone? E.g. songs start from somewhere in the middle and glitch continiously. This is a big problem which means all my windows -> iphone pictures are half black or glitched on the iphone. Also my songs are completely glitched. I have tried resyncing and different USB-ports.
Same problem on Iphone 4s AND windows 7. Really annoying that I can't have any music on my brand NEW device.

After Updating my iPhone to the IOS 6.1.2 all of my iPhone music got erased
Hey today I just updated my iPhone 4 software to the iOS 6.1.2 and then backed up my phone. I have everything back on my phone from before EXCEPT for all of the Music I had on my phone, GONE. All of my playlists, EVERYTHING. I backed up my iPhone again and yet nothing appears in my Music on my iPhone. I had 1000s of songs, and a bunch of playlists that I had created very carefully. PLEASE help me if you can and if you have the same problem please REPLY. It says I can retrieve all of my songs by going to the store, except for the fact that I did not get all of my audio from iTunes. This is very frustrating AND devastating for me.
If you have ANYTHING that can help even a little bit, please reply.

Restore the device from backup... if the problem continues, restore as new and sync back the desired content. -
i've already synced my itunes on my laptop with my iphone but it's not synching all of the albums/songs. Everything was purchase through itunes so i'm not sure what the issue is.
What settings do you have in iTunes? Is it set to sync all music, it is set to sync only checked songs? Is there anything different about the songs that it is not syncing. Is it possible they were they purchased with a different Apple ID?

I have a G5 which I intend to keep.
Now that I have updated my iphone 4s to iOS 7.0.
I cannot add music to my iphone or upload photos to iphoto.
I have the last itunes 10.6.3. which was supported by apple.
itunes will not interact with my iphone on any level.
Apple made all the equipment I use.
Bentley and Ferrari etc do not stop making parts for their cars?

Regarding iOS 7.0 you have totally lost the plot.
We buy apple why?
Quality.
Intuitive interface.
Stable software.
Design.
All that Steve Jobs consider sacrosanct.
Quality is about ongoing support longevity of product.
Its not about trying to sell to every person on the planet, others are way ahead of you.
So try respective the customers you have, it wont be long before theirs a better operating system and your lead in hardware is marginal.

If you have an iPhone or iPad do not update to ISO 7 unless you want an operating system that looks like windows 8. The graphics looks like it was designed by a artistically challenged mongoose and the operating system is not intuitive something apple users expect. Sync overlap with two Iphones, two ITunes accounts, one computer
How do my wife and I stop getting each other's contacts, calendars and downloaded apps when we sync our Iphones? We have two different ITunes accounts. She logged herself out of her account and then I logged myself into my account, I deleted one of the apps (her downloaded App that synched onto my Iphone) under the App Tab. I logged out of my account then logged into her account - I opened up the App Tab in her account and found the app I had deleted from my account was deleted from her account also...What is going on here? I thought these were two separate accounts? How can I make them separate?
Would be very grateful for assistance in sorting this out.Sorry for being unclear, when I said "new user account" I meant a new user account on your computer, not a new iTunes account, for example a new Windows user. As a new user you'll get a new, empty iTunes library. And your device will be erased during the first sync.
Apps can only be used with the account you bought them, so you can't share them or use them with a different iTunes account.
To copy your apps and data to the new iTunes before syncing, back up manually, here's how to:
Set up your iTunes account, disable autosync in itunes, connect your phone, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.
This will save data, pictures taken with the phone and settings to itunes. See what's included in this backup here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
Transfer your purchases the same way to copy all apps and bought media from the Store to your computer.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your phone got wiped during the first sync.

When you synced in iTunes did you select your phone in devices on t left column and then click on tones int eh window on the right. When you synced did you tick all tones and tick sync and then click sync at the bottom of the window on the right? Was the ton ein the tones folder in the library folder?

My playlists do not sync properly with my iphone
I have playlists in iTunes, which is fully up-to-date, on my 4 month old MBP.
When I sync these playlists with my iPhone 4 (iOS 5.01), the playlists are incomplete on the iPhone.
For some reason, some of the songs are missing in the playlists, though the songs themselves ARE on the iPhone (and can be played outside of the playlist).
Solutions tried so far...
I removed all of my music (and playlists) via iTunes from my iPhone, then re-sync'd them. No change.
I deleted one of the incomplete playlists (one that wouldn't sync properly from iTunes), I recreated it, and tried to sync it with my iPhone. No change.
I'm at a loss. Why would SOME songs in my playlists show up, but NOT ALL? I suspect this has something to do with iOS 5.01, iCloud, and/or NOT using iTunes Match???? I've never had a problem with syncing before iOS 5 and iCloud.
I'd appreciate any solution to this problem.
Thanks.I have this exact problem, I switched to ios5 on my iPhone 4 and tried syncing it with my mac mini. All the playlists are complete on itunes but for some reason 75% of the playlists are empty on the phone but the music all there.

I wanted to sync my iphone 4 (cdma). I have synced it before successfully. I am getting an error "itunes cannot sync apps to the iphone because the apps installed on the iphone cannot be determined" and the apps and items follwoing apps in syncing (photos for example) will not sync. Items prior to apps synced (calendar/contacts). I restarted both my iphone (currently on ios 4.2.8) and my computer, itunes was on 10.6.1, same problem. I installed itunes 10.6.3, same problem. I had been waiting to update ios to 5.1.1 and would like to do that now, but wanted to sync first. Anyone have any ideas? I am stumped! Thank you.

First message I get when I connect the iphone is

Then it tries to backup but I get

Tried that MANY times but no luck.
This iphone was on a developper account but it is not anymore (removed from developper account).

Can anyone offer suggestions for trobleshooting sync problems with my iphone. Recently I have connected my iphone and my ipod to my computer while having itunes open and I do not see my devices in itunes. I have powered off the iphone and powered back on and I have the most recent version of itunes on my computer. I have also tried multiple USB ports and multiple cords on my computer. When I go to file in itunes, Sync is not an option (greyed out). Any suggestions?
Had the same issue last year on XP Pro.
1) Start->All Programs->Apple Software Update Run this and make sure your up to date on iTunes.
2) Unplug both devices.
3) Restart the computer (I know your tired of being told this-it's a windows thing and sometimes it's a PO'd IT person thing either way do it).
4) After restart open iTunes.
5) wait a tad for iTunes to open all the way up, navigate through your music to make sure. Then connect the iPhone. Watch your clock area and you should see two pop-ups. One says Found new device, second says iPhone.
Last, if it doesn't appear it's because windows photo capture is trying to connect to the iPhone. Minimize iTunes and you'll probably have a pop up sitting there. THIS WINDOW will not show up in the task bar.
