Ios7 issues

I can't connect to my wifi at home. All other devices in house working fine. Also I don't appear to have Siri now. Any ideas?

I've turned off the wifi on the phone, clicked on forget network. It lets me put the password in, but says it can't connect. I have tried a friends wifi, and it connected fine. With Siri, I don't have it in settings, and when I hold the home screen button all I get is voice control. The iPad I'm using now works fine

Safari ios7 issues on iPad Air - can't open new tabs or view other tabs.
The + sign just closes the app every single time!
In some cases, the back and forward buttons don't work.
It's driving me crazy becuase if the webpage I'm on opens and ad or tab that I don't want to look at, I can't close it and go back, I have to retype the web address in and find where I was on the site!

I, too, tried all the fixes...nothing worked.
Found another thread on this forum and looks like a lot of us are having same problem.
Next time it happens, go to SETTINGS/GENERAL/ABOUT and check to see it there is a "low memory" incident report.

Seems to be common....this could turn into a HUGH issue.

Itunes match ios7 issues...

I have the iphone 5s with itunes match enabled on it. For the past couple weeks my playlists will act like the songs that I once donwloaded to my device are no longer there. They show the cloud icon next to them. When I go into the artists menu, the songs are certainly there, but now the song has doubled and the old downloaded song is no longer attached to the playlist, but rather the new cloud song is. This is getting very frustrating, because it happens very randomly. I have tried to disable my itunes match then re-enable it, but that no longer works. Has anyone else had this issue? If so what can be done to fix it. I have already reset device with a fresh install, did not help. Thanks in advance.

I have noticed the same thing and I just upgraded to a 5s a few days ago... It didn't happen on my 4s running IOS7. Its a 64gb 5s and havent really figured a way around it yet. I also noticed it is only happening to tracks that are uploaded from lossless tracks not any itunes store bought tracks.

Music after downloading ios7 issues

After I downloaded iOS7 I started having issues with my songs automatically shuffling, and then they have a red circle surrounding a red square. I can't play them now, and was wondering if anyone is experiencing this, and what's the solution.

Finally I was able to resolved my issues with the help of Jonathan from apple customer care.
Here is what he suggested and it works!
1. Sign out of iTunes & App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap AppleID > Sign out
2. Reset the device (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430)
3. Sign back into iTunes and App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Sign In with AppleID
4. Try to update the apps again

D Link 615 Iphone 4s ios7 issues

After the ios7 upgrade both iphone 4s in our house can not longer connect to the internet via our D LINK 615 router. We are connected but we keep getting error messages about "unable to connect to server' we have rebooted router and iphones. Our laptops at the house work fine with the router and get internet no porblem - only the iphones are having an issue. Thoughts?

Here at home the issue seems to be that i can recieve emails, get on the internet (via chrome or safari) but cannot SEND emails - that is when I get the "cannot connect to server" error message.

IOS7 issue with USB DACs?

Ive been running my iPad3 to an Audiolabs MDAC USB DAC via the CCK on ios5 and then 6 for awhile and its been working fine.
When using FlacPlayer or iPeng apps or itunes Home Sharing and hi-res FLACs/ALACs I would get 24/96 playback with no issues.
Since iOS7, with those same apps, while the dac detects a 24/88 or 24/96 signal, and it plays it, there is a white noise/stutter every other second in the tracks, though all 16bit and even 24/44 and 24/48 material is fine.
Is anyone else experiencing this since update to ios7.
Disappointed as this is something that used to work.

If I may act as a "Devils Advocate"... taking what you report as an OS issue, if that were so, it would suggest that any books created since iOS7 was introduced and had a movie a intro...would be reporting the issue here weeks ago.
I have just opened and checked three of my books with video intro..and none have any problems. I used iPad 2,3 and mini to check, and all show and allow manual control of the video.
Assuming your video is in the acceptable format..
Have you tried with default book from the template chooser, to recreate this apparent problem?
When you dropped in your video, did the application pop up the reprocessing message?
My (albeit often flawed) assumption is that your problems may arise from the video itself in some way.
Another issue which seems to affect some and not others is... using Preview to test a book. Advice suggests exporting the book and adding to iTunes > add to library and sync.
I prefer to export and use Dropbox, which has an option to open in iBooks in the iPad.
Although it may not be relevant, all my books have portrait mode disabled.

Keyboard and ios7 issues

SInce installing ios7 my apple wireless keyboard has been very buggy (typing this with onscreen keyboard). I cannot type into text response boxes with the keyboard. This morning, I cannot use it for anything, I "forgot" the keyboard and repaired, I've replaced the batteries, no improvement. The keyboard is responsive in that I can get it to bring up the onscreen keyboard, but it does nothing Else.. Any suggestions?

I would suggest the same thing that has been suggested for issues with the virtual keyboard that some others users have experienced, myself included, and that is to reset all settings.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. No data will be lost, but all settings will have to be entered again.

IOS7 issues with getting unwanted contacts from another person who used to share an iCloud account with me....

I used to share an iCloud account with my sister (mainly for music/iTunes reasons). After downloading iOS7, I got all her contacts so I made my own iCloud account in order to separate our contacts, calendars, etc. Now her contacts are gone from my phone list but when I text, they still show up when I am selecting a recipient. How do I get rid them?

Ios7 issues with apps locking up

After downloading the new IOS7 apps now lock up. I can't use the solitaire app or read The Washington Post etc. a white square or bar appears and then you can't do anything else. Help.

Try Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

I try to test default list view generated by HWD on iphone4 + iOS7.1, it works fine. From the description "The view has some fields which are conditionally hidden/shown coded in Custom.js", we need this specific Custom.js to continue investigation.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

IOS7 Issue with Using Photos as Wallpaper

I've tried to use my own photos for wallpaper as I had done with the iOS6.1.4. I am unable to "resize" the photos down so they fit in the screen. Any tips? Thanks!

If you have access to a photo editing program like photoshop, resize the photos there, making them 2048 x 2048 and they should work for your wallpaper

I just downloaded iOS 7 on my iPhone 5 and I cannot send text message to my boyfriends phone which is an HTC. It says I've sent the msg but it's blue like an iMessage but he never gets the text, nor does it ever turn green and simply send as a SMS.

HT4623 iPad ios7 issue

iPad 2 updated to iOS 7 now turns off after a few minutes use then goes to apple logo and will not turn back on for sometimes hours. Can anyone help solve.

Same problem here. iPad 2, 32 GB Wifi+3G (Verizon). Tried setting 'Default' from iCloud to iPad, no go. Thought maybe I had a note with some funky character combination that was crashing it, so I cleaned out a bunch of my notes in iCloud from my Mac. Still crashes. BTW, I updated an iPhone 5 and 4S to iOS 7 and both open and access the same notes fine.
On the iPad, I was able to create a new note with Siri - I didn't think it would work but it did - the note was saved to iCloud and is accessible from my other devices. I think the key here is that Siri does not open the Notes App to create the note - it just shows you what you said and tells you it created the note.
So, either I do still have a bad note in a local/cached copy stored on the iPad that hasn't synced yet and erased, or there is a problem with the Notes App GUI when you start it up on the iPad 2.
I might delete the rest of my notes (after copying and pasting them to a file or something) and try again. Grrr. Who would think that a simple app like Notes would get hosed like this?
