IPad 2 App store issues.

Hi
I have an issue with my iPad and trying to update my apps. I have over 20 updates for apps but can't update them as when I click app store icon the updates it says cannot connect to iTunes store I have signed out and signed in and so on but nothing is working yet I run the same ID on my iPhone 3GS and have no issues and I can also still download new apps on the iPad no problems.
Can someone please point me in the right direction.

This has worked for some recently.
Settings>General>Date and time. Turn automatically off so that you can change the date to a year or so into the future. You might get a message that your apps need updated. Try to connect and update then and then go back and change the date and time back to automatic.
Whether you get any error messages or no messages at all - go back to the app store and see if it works for you.

    Ok so when I got my iPad back from my brother and the App store was logging in with his account, I signed out and went to mine so I could update my games and then for some reason when it was about to update, it asks for my brother's security question "Who was his first teacher?" but he didn't remember the answer for it >.> so like I relogged for several times and tried to update my game again, I still had the same problem. After that, I shut down the iPad like 2-3 times and tried again it was still saying my brother's account still signed in but when I checked whose account was I in, it was me.     it means that app was purchased under your brothers apple id. you most contact apple and then can help him reset them

    Has anyone downloaded an app from App Store it got stuck and you can't fix it I reset network and still stuck

    Are you unable to delete it? Try performing a reset, which is done by holding both the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the screen, and after it reboots, try deleting again. No data is lost during the reset process.

    reset all settings
    settings-general-reset-reset all settings
    now reconnect to wifi
    settings- wifi- click network name- enter password - join
    if issue persists back up and restore as new via iTunes

    Thank you for your responses.. To Sjazbec, At least you guys in Germany and the Netherlands have some kind of  posters from Apple to let you know that the feature is not available.
    There is no such warning on the Irish Apple site.!
    My point was that, I would not have even considered trying to reorganize my itunes library had I known that the feature is not available in Ireland.
    And that falls into the domain of Apple Ireland advertising.. which I"m sorry to say is false and misleading.
    There are no "posters" telling the Irish customer that icloud / itunes music is not available!
    I"m not blaming Apple for not "having the feature" in Ireland.. I am upset at them for falsing advertising a feature that they cannot for whatever reason deliver to Irish customers..
    To Keats 2010 LOL... Trust me there were lots of clouds in Ireland today!.. It's a long time since we've seen the sun!.. As for getting your head around the basics.. I could talk you through everything that doesn't work in Ireland if it's any help lol

    Change App Store
    1. Tap "Settings"
    2. Tap "iTunes & App Stores"
    3. Tap on your Apple ID
    4.Tap "View Apple ID"
    5. Enter your user name and password.
    6. Tap "Country/Region."
    7. Tap "Change Country/Region"
    8. Select the region where you are located.
    9. Tap "Done".

  • Error Viewing Released iPhone/iPod App in iPad's App Store

    We shared the app's itunes app store link on facebook recently. In iPod and iPhone, we can be brought to app store showing our released app by clicking the shared link. However, when we click the shared link in iPad, it did brought us to app store, but it showed an error message instead.
    We then tried to change our store location to US, but it showed some error again.
    Any help on explaining this confusing issue will be much appreciated. Thank you.

  • Original iPad Lags, App Store Crashes after update. Suggestions to fix?

    Hi,
    I have this Original iPad running 5.1.1 and have been facing problems since software update. It had the best of iOS experience prior to the update and now the problems I face have been listed below.
    1. Whole thing lags which includes the interface to switch screens.
    2. App crashes including App Store.
    Suggestions or Solutions to have this rectified to Apple's well known user experience will be of great help to me.

    Well being as the app store on the iphone is a big no no right now, because installing apps or updating them tends to corrupt the data. I wouldn't worry. The apps corrupt date leads to the dreaded extremely long never ending backup issue.
    Have you tried a restore in iTunes to fix the problem?

    Welcome to the Apple community.
    There seems to be more than the average number of reports about users being unable to connect to iTunes at the moment, there may well be an issue with the servers. I would try again later and see if the problem persists.

  • Can someone help me with App Store Issues?

    When I go on my phone to re-download old apps on my phone, my purchased section is cleared and there is nothing there, but the weird thing is when I sign into my iTunes account on my computer, all my apps are in the "Purchased" section on there. I have purchased dozens of things and I only have one apple ID so there is no confusion there. Has anyone had a similar problem and/or know a solution to this? I have tried to reset and hard reset, but nothing seems to fix the issue. I have also tried to sign out and back in but nothing.

    Ok so I fixed the issue.
    First I went to the App Store, clicked my ID, then clicked "View Apple ID" on the App Store and clicked "Remove This Device."
    Then went on to Sign out of iTunes & App Store (Settings > iTunes & App Store).
    After this I went on my computer version of iTunes and I Unautharized my computer and reauthorized it (it is done from the Store tab on iTunes).
    I did a hard reset of my phone and connected it to my computer and let it sync.
    While connected I signed back in to iTunes from the same "iTunes & App Store" section in the settings.
    I then installed a previously "Purchased" app from the computer version of iTunes
    When it finished installing I went to my purchased section and all my apps were back:)
    Ok so I'm honestly not sure whether these steps were the reason for the fix (or if there was unnecessary steps), but it did fix the problem I was having with my purchased apps not appearing.

  • How do I permanently delete an app from my iPad and App Store?

    I would like to permanently delete apps from my iPad and my Purchased list in the App Store. How do I do this? These apps are ones that I have tried and found to be useless or do not work correctly. I have deleted apps from iTunes Store, but I cannot get rid these unwanted apps on my iPad and this is very annoying.
    Apple may think that users out there who may change their mind. However I am not one of them. If something is useless and does not work correctly, then I do not want to see it again. Some of these apps I have paid for, but I am prepared to accept that loss as a bad purchase. So Apple, please provide a facility to allow users to permanently delete apps from the App Store. Obviously, Apple would have to include the appropriate warnings that permanently deleting apps cannot be reversed.

    You can delete the currenlty installed apps. Hold down an app until all the apps jiggle. Then on each app tap the x then tap Delete. Press the Home button once to to stop the apps from jiggling.
    And you can hide purchases >  iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases
    But purchase history cannot be delete.

    Apps can re downloaded using the same Apple ID for free >  Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

  • Unable to update apps through App Store on iPad mini: App Store says that 'All Apps are up to date'

    OK, so basically I've been having this problem where I'm unable to update the apps on my iPad through the App Store. The badge icon of the App Store displays a number 8, which should mean that there are 8 apps with updates, however, upon opening the App Store and going to the 'Updates' section, my iPad tells me that 'All apps are up to date', which is both frustrating and confusing.
    I have tried:
    - Closing the App Store and removing it from the App Switcher
    - Rebooting the device
    - Logging out and then back in with my Apple ID
    Also, I read elsewhere to try and individually update the apps by going to the 'Purchased' section, however this did not solve anything as none of the apps shown had an 'update' button next to them.
    If anyone can offer any help, it would be greatly appreciated.

    I should have mentioned before- I have been using my iPad without a computer and I haven't got access to one for a while. I was under the impression that when Apple released iOS 5, it was possible to use their devices completely independent of a computer. Hence, every device running iOS 5 or later should be usable And fully functional without a computer.
    Is there any way to fix this without a computer?

  • App Store Issue

    I can no longer access the app store thru iTunes on my laptop. I can access all the other stores. I can still access iTunes on my iPhone. I am running the current version of iTunes. I have also tried running the fix option with no results in resolving the issue. Anyone else run into this problem or have any fix ideas?

    I have the same problem, and my iPhone 3GS wont make a backup, (It says there don't exist a place for the backup or somthing like that..), plus the music pictures won't show.
    APPLE WE NEED UPDATE NOW!!

  • HT1689 New iPad Limited App Store

    I just got a new iPad, and cannot seem to pull up more than 30 available apps in any category in the app store. By comparison, a general search of categories on my iPhone yields literally hundreds of results. To the best of my knowledge, I have no limitations or restrictions that would cause this. Is there something else I need to do to get a more broadened list of apps?
