I have updated my Apple TV to 5.1. Using the Remote app on my IPhone and iPad I can browse the music library on the Apple TV but I cannot select a song to play. Has someone else the same problem?
MatsI think I found the reason. On my iMac that is hosting the music library a song already was playing. This seems to block out me from selecting another song though my Apple TV.

My ipad is only 3 months old and already just from using pages for about an hour the battery life has gone down by 30%. Is this correct or is there something wrong with the battery life? So much for 10 hour battery life....
You may have stuff running that you don't know you hve running. Such as notifications default to on, so you may have a bunch of stuff going out and reaching for info that you don't realize is running. So you can look there, and also look at your mail. If it's set to fetch mails or to push. if it's on push, then y our iPad is reacing out to get the mail all the time.
So try turning stuff off. but if the battery is still not acting like you want it to, make an appointment at your local apple store and have them run diagnostics on it, just to make sure. they might also be able to give you some tips or find what's draining your power. -
Is anyone else having an issue with the iPad not charging if you use it while it's plugged into a power source? Now that I'm on iOS 7, I either charge or use... Not both.

I have an iPad 2 for less than a month, I updated the IOS to 6 about two weeks ago... It was great, up until tonight. My WiFi flat out won't work... and all the other laptops, iphones in the house are working fine.
Would LOVE to have it fixed.
Not very happy with Apple and this 'mishap'...
it does NOT have the cellular wifi, or whatever it's called. it's not capable of connecting to a carrier... just through regular wifi.1. Turn off router for 30 seconds and on again.

Have you an Internet connection? If not, unplug router for a few minutes and try again. Power down your iPad and start it up again. If still no success delete the account an set it up again.

iOS 5 update issues. It tells me "This device isn't eligible for the requested download." Anyone else having this issue? It's giving me this message for my iPhone 4 and iPad 2.

My iphone 4S Black 16 GB with IOS 7.0.4 turns off randomly in low battery less than 15% and also when I am taking pictures from my front camera in low battery of 30%. This is happening very often. Can someone help here with advise? The phone is slightly more than 2 years bought from singapore I live in India
Either your battery is failing or your battery gauge needs to be recalibrated. Start by recalibrating:
When it shuts off charge for just a minute or two, then restart (hold HOME and SLEEP until an Apple logo appears). Deliberately run the battery down until the phone shuts off at 1%. If it shuts off above 1% repeat the above until you get to 1%. Then charge for 4 hours with the wall charger without using the phone. This process will recalibrate the battery gauge.
To prevent this from happening again about once a month run the battery all the way down to 1%, then continue until the phone shuts off. Apple recommends this in their battery help article, but they don't say why you should do it. The have some hokum about "keeping the electrons moving." Honestly! The iPad battery tip gives the correct reason.
If this does not resolve the problem you most likely need a new battery. If you are near an Apple store take the phone in and they can test the battery for you. -
I recently updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 6.1 and lost all of my contacts. My phone was less than 30 days old and I did not have an account with iCloud prior to the back-up. Any way to restore my contacts or are they lost forever?
I have the exact same problem. I did the update on my iPhone 5 yesterday, opted for the iCloud set up in the update and then it wiped my contacts. They are not on my phone or in the cloud...

I have had over 5 time out err-3259 trying to update my Ipad 2 on my imac from last night and all this morning. Anyone else having this issue? It is definitely not my internet connection etc. Right in the end at 99% this error message comes out. Help

I did the recent update on my ipad 7.0.4 and now it keeps freezing up and can not use it. Tried reboot and works for a second then freezes right up again. Anyone else have this issue or know a fix?

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Seems like you tried this all ready and it didn't help.
Next might be to reset all settings.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings
Note that when you do this you will not lose data but you will have to enter all passwords again.
If that doesn't help you might tries a restore of your iPad using iTunes on the computer you normall sync with. Do a backup and save all data first. Or
Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. -
After updating my 4S to iOS 5.1.1 last night, none of my data applications are working today, nor Siri, iMessage or anything of the like. I'm at a loss as to what might have caused it. Is anyone else having this issue/has anyone found a fix? Everything seems to work fine if I connect to wireless, but if I'm not connected to it then nothing is working. My service provider says everything should be working fine, I still have the 3G symbol and full bars.
Somebody clearly hasn't read the User Guide.
Basic troubleshooting steps are retart, reset, restore from backup, restore as NEW.
If you have tried ALL of these steps and you're still having problems, then you need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation. -
My sounds occasionally stops working after upgrading to iOS 6. Is anyone else having sound issues with iOS 6 or greater?
I am having this same issue on my iPhone 4. The most recent update to iOS 6.1 didn't fix it either. Has anyone found a fix for this problem? It doesn't happen often, maybe every third day or so but requires power off, power on to bring the sound back.
