IPad software keyboard overlapping content

My iPad's keyboard has started overlapping content since iOS 6.0.1. It's a consistent, reproducible problem. I've tried several restarts and the same behavior returns.
Here's what's reproducible: if you enter split-keyboard mode, that keyboard will show in random-ish spots on the screen. After returning to full keyboard, the keyboard holds onto where it was last placed on the screen. The only way to return the keyboard to the screen's bottom, is to redo split-keyboard and back again several times.
Have others seen the problem?

Android, on different devices, attempts to move things automatically and inserting ourselves into the mix was filled with pain and bugs.

I have a bad behaviour when I click on a textarea. The android keyboard appears over the textarea itselfes.
In this situation the user must scroll the page to see what he's typing into.
Is it possible to change the behaviour of the page to force it to scroll up to avoid the keyboard overlapping?
it doesn't work only in adroid!

*Typing lag iOS 7*
Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings. This should improve the typing responsiveness
*Note:* Settings, preferences, network settings, etc will be reset. *NO data or media will be lost*
and/or
Settings>iCloud>Documents and Data (turn it OFF)

You should not lose any data when you update. However, glitches do happen, and losing data is one of those glitches that some people have experienced with the iOS 5 upgrade. To protect against that, you'll want to make sure you've got your calendars well backed-up. If you're syncing your iPad with a Mac, open iCal on your Mac and export all your calendars before upgrading, and if there are any problems, you can re-import them.

Trying to upgrade to newest version of iPad software but not enough space on hard drive to backup the iPad. It is saying if I continue all content on iPad will be deleted! Can I get it back after uprade by just synching with itunes?

I would recommend deleting contents off your hard-drive to make space (how much is left..you should be having 15% free as a general practice) and backing up the phone prior to upgrading.

IPad - No Excuse for missing Dvorak software keyboard

I've been using Apple products since I bought an original Macintosh in the summer of 1984. Apple is a company that supports the non-conformist. The person who wants to do things a better and different way. Or, so it claims.
I taught myself the Dvorak arrangement twelve or fourteen years ago, when my hands started giving me problems from too much keyboard use. I can remap the QWERTY (pronounced "crappy") keyboard to Dvorak on PCs running DOS, on Macintosh, and on all versions of Windows.
And yet, on the iPad, there is no software keyboard for the Dvorak arrangement. Only QWERTY and two similar arrangements.
Granted, the soft keyboard on the iPad is not ideal for speed no matter what the key arrangement. But having to relearn QWERTY when on the iPad slows me down.
This is a trivial programing assignment Apple. One of your college interns, with a bit of guidance, could pull it off. Why not step up and give us a Dvorak arrangement. Think Different.
I am currently using an iPad for a class I am taking. But when the class is done, it goes back to the school. I would love to buy an iPad (the third generation, coming soon) but cannot bring myself to do so until it supports Dvorak.

IPad 1 is recognized by iTunes running on Windows XP but will not sync (new problem, used to work fine). The iPad and all its contents displayed but warning box says the iPad is not connected. Tried soft reboot. All software versions current.

iPad 1 connects to iTunes and displays in the left column. All elements on iPad displayed. However, it will not sync. Displays message that the iPad is not connected. This is a new issue. Used to work fine. All iTines and iPad software up to date. Ran HELP diagnotsic in iTunes with iPad connected - no issues noted. Attempted soft reboot of iPad. No help.

Issue hopefully resolved. Required Apple store to delete all info from iPad and reinstall operating system. Had to reload all data, but it seems to be working fine. Cause unknown.

I updated my iPad software to IOS 5, and now it doesn't see my WiFi. The IP addresses seem to be different on my "Sanders Family" network on my iPad than what shows up on my desktop

Help. I just updated my iPhone and iPad software to IOS 5. Now my iPad isn't connecting to my WiFi. It "sees" it, and the network name even shows up under WiFi, but it's like it just keeps grinding and grinding. Sometimes it will let me click on the network and see the IP address. When I can see it, the address on my iPad is different from the one showing up on my desktop, but I can't figure out how to change it on my iPad. Any suggestions to get me hooked back into my wireless network?

If the problem persists after you reboot as suggested by Ralph:
Trouble connecting usually means interference, or another WiFi on the same channel.
If you have any cordless phones, keyboards, or cameras, check what frequency they use.
From a MAC or Windows machine you can see what channel each of the available networks are using. Make sure your network is on a channel nobody else nearby is also using.

Clients with overlaping content boundaries do not get content

Clients on overlapping content boundaries could not get software updates content. Seems, management point does not return DP information for the client. Is my config wrong?
The config is as bellow.
There are boundaries: IP address range (lets say 10.8.0.1 - 10.12.255.254) and IP subnet(let say 10.8.20.0).
There are boundary groups for content: Boundary Group1, which has IP address range boundary and DP1 as site system(connection speed - SLOW); Boundary Group 2, which has IP subnet boundary and DP2 as site system (Connection speed - Fasts).
There is software updates deployment targeted to a client (IP 10.8.20.100) with download settings "Download and install, when client is on slow network boundary" and "Do not install when software updates are not available on any preferred DP".
Software updates content is ON DP1. DP1 is also primary site server (if this is important).
As I understand, the client (10.8.20.100) should see both DP's as prefered.
Deployment monitoring shows error - Failed to download updates. Error code 0x87005B4. Description. This Operation Returned because the timeout period has expired.
In Cas.log on the client I can see:
Submitted CTM job {AE475526-8EA2-4708-BB17-46C29C8CA9CE} to download Content 7d68d64f-f44f-4d81-9fbb-423c3b362a50.1 under context System

We have a lot of remote locations. Some of them have local DP's with OSD content.
The IP range boundary was created first, which covers all remote locations. Then, when somewhere local DP is needed for OSD, IP subnet boundary is crrated. Is that wrong?
Are you saying, i have to divide that big IP address range boundary and exclude all IPs, wchich are on IP subnet boundaries?
If i configure deployment to enable clients to use falback source location, they are getting content, as DP1 has "Allow fallback source location for content" checked. But this is not an options, as i need certain client groups (with certain IP
address ranges) to use diferent DP's for SW updates content.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

excuse my untech saviness when I write this:
I have a 3GS, it was jailbroken for me, but not only that, it was running on Ipad software. I was told the reason was at the time there werent any hacks for the 3GS software due to the 4 being out and the ipad as well. phone ran well no issues.
the problem:
finally have a computer, a iMac to be exact... Ive been syncing without problems. Today, I updated my iPhone. I was told not to. but forgot since I had the phone "worked on" last year, and really wasnt thinking.
the phone was restored to factory settings, I can get as far as the wi-fi set up. But I can not activate the cellular part of the phone. On iTunes, its saying there isnt a sim card installed. I took it out and reinstalled. still nothing. please help. thank you

because everyone is doing the same thing you are... be patient, and you will get the update... I had to grab the update over 3G (it won't let you download or install, but it got me in the door) and then switch back to wifi and download and install.

Try rebooting your router and or cable modem. Unplug it/them for about 30 seconds and then plug back in. See if it works then. Reboot your iPad as well.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
