Iphone 5 , music playing simple problem

Okay so it pretty much simple. If i play music from youtube and than minimize it, and trying to play button, it just doesnt play.
But if i play and it appers on my screen and i lock the iphone, than it play it, without any problem

Please guys i need help, if i didnt explained well i"ll explain again.

for troubleshooting I would try another bluetooth device to make 100% sure that it was an iphone issue

Iphone 3G music plays when headphones inserted

like the title says, music always automatically starts to play when I put headphones in. Is there any way to stop this.

I'm not sure it can be corrected in software. If, as I suspect, a transient spike when plugging the headphones in is causing the remote button signal line to register a single click, it's a hardware issue. If that's the case, about the only thing Apple could do is measure the time between the button signal and when the external speakers are cut off and if it's a small enough interval, stop playback. Of course, if you're too slow in plugging the headphones all the way in, the issue could still happen.

Anyone notice music playing pauses on IPhone during music sync from the cloud?

I downloaded a album from my Macbook Pro to test the new music auto sync feature on my IPhone. While I was downloading the album on my MBP I started playing the first song that was synced to my IPhone. I noticed that after every song that was synced to my IPhone the music playing would pause for a 1/2 second then continue. I tested this out with WIFI and on 3G and got the same results. I found it a bit annoying and I don't think this is "feature" to let me know a song has been synced onto my IPhone. Now I do understand this feature is in BETA so I hope it gets fixed when its finally released.

I have had this exact same thing happen to me. It is really annoying to have those pauses. Some songs have multiple pauses. I hope this is resolved when the final product is released.

I too am having the same problem. I have an Infiniti 2010 G37 and have always used an apple cord to connect either my iphone 3GS or my 4th generation Nano to the usb port in my car. It used to allow me then to access all my music through my built in nav/stereo system. Since last update, I get message that says this device is not supported

Are you using HDMI or an Apple Airplay Module to go to the TV Speakers?
If you are using an HDMI it's straight through output. The internal speakers are disabled.
If you are using an Airplay Module:
- Go on iTunes
- Locate the Airplay icon that has a TV with an up arrow icon much like your iPhone has for Bluetooth
- Click on that and Airplay to ModuleName

after looking at a few other posts, i tried the uncheck the sync box, did a sync, rechecked the box, and synced again. the music is now downloading into my phone. if anyone else has this problem try this first.

IPhone 4S stops playing music

Hi, my iPhone 4S randomly (or so I thought) stops playing music but still rings when a call connects and beeps when an email comes in. The on screen volume controls would disappear and the side volume button stopped working too. I have seen many many comments on google/apple etc by people with this same issue. Some people have even gone to the extent of writing blogs about this issue too. I had an old iPod 4 when they first came out and after about a year it developed the same problem. It had been a bit misused by my then young children and assumed it was our fault but when it happened on my 6 month old iPhone 4S I thought it was odd.
I initially blamed my recent software update to iOS 5.01 and hard reset the phone 3 separate times with varying temporary success (if you try a hard reset remember to back up first or you lose everything) I took it to an apple store and the assistant said he'd heard about the issue and after checking all my settings were ok he performed a soft reset which worked until.....I plugged my iphone back into its docking station.
I read a couple of threads online about the iPhone thinking it was in docking station mode and decided to gently poke a thin implement into the dock opening. Immediately and with the smallest of tweaks the volume controls appeared back on screen and my music played. It only appeared briefly but with a little more wriggling of the implement the control came back and so far has stayed put.
Apple want to charge 20 dollars for tech support calls but I've requested a call back for 'one off hardware faults' which makes the conversation free. I want to see what they have to say about what appears to me to be an inbuilt hardware problem. I'll keep you posted here. Beware that if you tinker with your equipment you could invalidate any warranty etc. I'm quite appalled that apple seem to have complete disregard for a their hardware failure and when we, as customers, pay top money for Their products we should expect top quality goods. The hardware should not be routinely confused by periphal hardware or lack thereof. Not good apple.
If you're reading this thread I assume you have the same problems and I wish you good luck. Maybe if we all call their support line (selecting the one off free call option) they might start to listen and do something about it......

I am on my 2ndiPhone 4s (in less than a week) and BOTH have had this stop-start music issue…
I got a new one last night when my original 4s (received on Wednesday 11/02/11) would not play alerts, keyboard clicks, music, or videos without the ear buds or Bluetooth (after nearly a dozen hard restarts, one restore through iTunes and a “deep” restore for the firmware at the Apple store). After I got my replacement, I was told at the Apple store not to sync through iTunes anymore if I am using iCloud because that would contribute to the problem?!?!?! I thought maybe it’s an iCloud problem because it needs a strong Wi-Fi connection which I don’t have here at the office…
I hope this is just a software fix because I am tired of all of these problems. 5 iPhones, 5 iPods and this iPhone (4s) is the worst... Apple, please get that operating system upgrade out FAST!

All of a sudden my IPhone will not play all of my music

All of a sudden my IPhone will not play my music. I upgraded to ios5 awhile back and everything was fine in fact it was fine over a week ago now when I go to play it only shows the album art and the songs do not play. Also when the songs it wants to play (it's like it has a mind of it's own) play the album art and songs do not match up. The majority of the songs are purchased from ITunes if that helps. I tried unsyching my music then resyncing as suggested in another post and I still have this problem. I accidently reset all settings and I am wondering if this has anything to do with it, everything was fine until I did that. Really strange problem you have there. I have a few questions though.
Please try again and try to make the phone as a new without restoringen with you iCloud-data or backup-data from iTunes. Maybe it is something wrong with the data (strange).
Anyway, i think you should call Apple Support or visit an Apple Store, don't forgot to make a Genius Bar reservation.

IPhone 4 music and podcasts won't play

my iPhone 4 is having a problem with sound.
I use the Alarm Clock app and recently the speakers on my phone won't work so I can't hear my alarm. Coincedentally (?) when this happens I cannot play music or podcasts from their apps as well. The play button just flashes and nothing else happens.
The only fix seems to be to turn the phone off and back on.
Is this an iOS problem?

Since turning the phone off and back on solves the problem I guess it's a software matter.
Try a reset (hold sleep / wake and menu until the phone restarts) and see if it fixes.
Eventually you can try a software restore. If the problem persists it would be worth to go to an Apple Store or contact Apple Care.

After updating to iOS6, I lost all sound for apps like YouTube, Netflix, games, and even notifications. The only time sound worked was during a phone call or when the head set was plugged in.
I did a full back up and restore- sound restored but only for a day before the problem returned.
Called Apple Support and was advised to do another restore, but this time restore it as NEW first, then do the restore from back up.
Seemed to do the trick.
Here are the instructions of what I was given- hopefully this will help you too:

Please turn your iPhone off.

Please follow the prompts and restore device as NEW.
once the restore is done you will have to set up the device and test the sound.
If it works you will then need to restore the device from the back up to restore your user settings.

How to set alarm on iPhone 5 to play music from a playlist?

I'd like to set alarm on my iPhone 5 to play music from a playlist or from a album in Music, i.e. when alarm goes off, it will play more than just one song like songs in a playlist. This setting option was present in my old iPods (iPod Classic and iPod 5th generation), but is not present in both new iPhone 5 and new iPod Touch. Or, does anyone know how to work around it? It would be nice to be woken up by one of my favorite playlists rather than having to listen to just one song over and over. Thank you. piamsakp

As far as the app goes, I don't Know, as I don't use it. Just know you need an app to do playlists.
