Iphone 6 screen is zoomed in so far I can't enter passcode

I woke up today with my Iphone 6 screen is zoomed in so far that the number 5 fills the whole screen.  I've done the hard reset many times, but it still reboots zoomed in.  I can't do a restore via itunes because it requires the pass code to be entered.  I can't do the reset because it requires find my iphone to be turned off.  So my phone is useless until I can fix this, can't get into my phone at all.

Don't.  If you're not familiar with a feature, then you have to learn.

IPhone black screen does not show anything, but I can hear that the device works. I hear the lock open the screen and hear the iPod but the screen remains black!!

It's happened to me before as well. Try holding both lock(top right) and home buttons simultaneously until u see a slight flash of wight then just reboot it normally. If that doesn't work try restoring your device from itunes

  • IPhone home screen is zoomed in and will not zoom out. How do I get it back to normal?

My iPhone 6 home screen is zoomed in and will not return to normal, How do I get it back to normal?

If that did not work, then try triple-tapping the home button. If that does not work, then double-tap 3 fingers and hold on the screen, dragging to change the zoom level. If you need to move the screen around to be able to access something to get the device unlocked, then use 3 fingers to drag the screen around after trying to change the zoom level.

  • Iphone 6 screen has enlarged itself enormously and I can not press any bottoms ,tried resetting already nothing heppend

My brand new iPhone 6 only used for 4 days did something funny few hours ago, it started displaying everything in extremely large zoom scale so just so you can understand you could only see 4-6 icons on the screen thats how big it is. And you couldn't really scroll through anything and it was kind of half responsive. I then turned it off - and turned it back on but it was exactly the same but only this time it wouldn't let me get in the phone as touch ID doesn't work and I can not enter manually my passcode is it shows way too large. I plugged into my iTunes but i can't sinc it as i need a passcode - and it took me the whole day yesterday to sort everything out on there and now i afraid to loose it again and start from the begging . Just so annoying that brand new phone is acting like this!!
    PLEASE HELP!

Double tap using three fingers will get the screen back to normal. Seems like the zoom feature has been enabled.
Turn Zoom on or off. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom. Or, use the Accessibility Shortcut. See Accessibility Shortcut on page 139.
Zoom in or out. With Zoom turned on, double-tap the screen with three fingers.

  • Stripes have suddenly appeared on my iPhone 5 screen, it has not been dropped, how can I fix it?

Hello, blue and white stripes have suddenly appeared on my iPhone 5 screen, it has not been dropped. I can still receive calls and messages.  How can I fix it?

First, try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting.
If this does not help, set it up as new device, explained here:
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If still no luck, get it checked by visiting an Authorized Apple Service Provider or contact Apple Support to get it serviced:

  • Stuck on zoom can't enter passcode

IiPhone 5s is stock on zoom and I can't enter the passcode to unlock. Any ideas?

DOUBLE tap with 3 fingers. This will turn off zoom, even on the login screen. Then go to Settings/General/Accessibility and turn off Zoom.

  • HT1212 iPod touch backup, cracked screen, can't enter passcode.

I want to back up my music from my iPod onto a new computer, to put onto a new iPod. My old computer broke and I have no access to it. But when I try to back it up, it says I have to enter the passcode. The screen is severely cracked and unusable, so I can't enter the pass code. Is there any way to bypass the screen lock without using the screen? I have a huge music library that, as of right now, is lost.

Your only hope is a data recovery comapny. The Apple securty feature is working as intended.

  • What causes the screen to zoom out so far that I cant do anything

Also, I found on the discussion board how to fix it (tap W/ 3 fingers), but I want to know WHY that happened. Thanks

  • When rapidly tapping my ipad 2 screen, it zoomed in really far and now I can't zoom out of it, pan around the screen, or power off.

This has made it basically unusable, when I've only had my ipad for 3 days. What can I do?

In the event that you turned on Zoom in Settings>General>Accessibilty>Zoom>On .... Try triple clicking the home button and if that returns the screen to normal - go the settings and shut it off. You can also try double tapping with three fingers and drag to change Zoom.
If you didn't enable Zoom, reboot the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

  • HT1212 Broken screen, can't enter passcode.  How do I get my pics and vids off without entering a passcode

How do I get my pics and vids when my screen is busted and my phone is password protected?

It's a good thing you have your Camera Roll backed up from the last sync you did with either iTunes or iCloud!
Your Camera Roll photos can be retrieved from the last sync once you get your replacement iPhone.  The rest of your photos are backed up elsewhere on your computer from your last sync.

  • IPhone in restore mode, can't enter passcode, can't connect to iTunes Help

My iPhone 3G went into recovery mode by itself, now I can only get the "connect to iTunes" screen.  However, when I try to connect to iTunes, I am prompted to enter my passcode on the iPhone, which I cannot do.  I have backups on my computer and know my passcode, but the iPhone logo will not appear in the iTunes side menu, so I have no way of unlocking and restoring my phone.  Please help.

You must restore the iPhone with iTunes. This should not prevent you from connecting your iPhone to iTunes on the computer it has been synced with. If so, place the iPhone into recovery mode.

If you restore with iTunes on the new computer and you haven't transferred your iTunes library from the old computer to the new computer, all iTunes content on your iPhone will be lost.

  • Screen has zoomed in and will not zoom out

Suddenly my screen has zoomed itself in to max zoom and the screen no longer responds to my touches to zoom it back out. I can manage to make the screen wiggle a little left or right, but not up or down. I tried to manually reset the phone (sleep/home button pressed for 10 seconds) and now the unlock screen is zoomed in so far I cannot access the 'slide to unlock' feature. This is a "4" and is about two weeks old.
How can I get my screen zoomed back out so I can at least unlock the phone to answer calls?

iphone frozen in a mega zoomed state?
Same thing happened to my iphone 4. I could not unlock or even see any portion of the screen except the last number in the time, and it was about the size of the full screen!
If the three finger double tap is not working for you like it did not work for me,
    Try this...
1.)perform a hard reset--hold the home button and the sleep button (bottom and top buttons) until you see a silver apple.
2.)wait till the screen comes back to life and see if is working again, if not connect your iphone to your computer and itunes.
3.)right click on the name of the iphone and select "transfer purchases"
4.)once transfered click the restore button in itunes
    5.)chose back up
6.)once it is restored and it asks to restore as new or restore from back up JUST DISCONNECT YOUR IPHONE by ejecting it normally
7.)Check to see if your screen is unfrozen and back to working use, this will show if you had a software problem or a content problem. If it doesn't work it is most likely a hardware problem and you need to take the iphone to a apple retailer for repair, I was told by a rep from apple it would be free.
8.)if it does work normally simply plug it back into itunes and click restore from back up.
This worked for me when no other solution worked, and it was fairly simple just took about 30 minutes to complete.
    Good Luck!
