Iphone 3GS white screen, still after reset. I DIDNT GET IT WET?
I hit a dirt jump on my bmx bike with my phone in my pocket and fell. Not to hard but i guess hard enough to make the screen turn white ;[. So after googling the issue i found out i should try to reset it. After restating the phone several times the white screen still stayed there. It sometimes had faint Rainbow vertical lines. I can still use my phone because it vibrates and rings when i call it. The touch screen still works to. But the ***** screen is white. The lcd screen doesn't seem broken, when i disassembled the phone there wasn't any obvious tears or scratches.how would you recondmend selling it for parts? And do you honestly think its worth a try buying that item i linked in my first post? i can get a gold back housing and gold metal trim thing for cheap. Would those new aditions make it sell for more and if so would i get profit over the money i spent in parts?

Go to Settings > General > Siri and turn Siri on. Once you turn it on, you will have the microphone key back on the keyboard

Thnksssssss....So you are saying that you followed all of the steps in the support document for problems with connection, including removing and reinstalling iTunes? You do not say what you have tried, so it is hard to make recommendations. If this is the case, then you have tried resolving driver issues? What if you go to Device Manager and look for the iPhone. You should be able to click on it and see about drivers. You can update/reinstall the device driver.

Its probably just as you said, it's dead. I mean the battery.
I have a second generation iPod and the battery doesn't hold a charge long. So yours must be really struggling with the battery.
You can send it off for a battery replacement, or as is expected due to the cost of doing that and with standard manipulative business thinking, you could just get a new iPod like a good little customer. -

Help, just upgrade the itunes to 10.5 now it says This Iphone can not be used because the Apple mobile device service is not started. I was able to access the it from my second computer without any problem. Phone is running 5.0

I dropped my iPhone and i tried to turn it on but it only comes on at curtain times. And it turns back off when I drop it just a little bit. Sometimes it takes like three days to turn back on. How do I get it to work regularly again?? Please help!!!
Seems like there is some physical damage causing an intermittent issue of the iPhone being unable to power on.
You could try a reset:
- hold the home button and sleep/wake button down at the same time
- the iphone will turn off(keep holding) then when the Apple logo appears release both buttons
If the reset fails I would suggest next time it powers on to try and back it up to either iTunes/iCloud then you can try a restore to factory settings or just back up and book an appointment at an Apple Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

How are you doing this? Are you trying to use Home Sharing?
Each iDevice can only be synced by one computer. You can choose to erase it and sync with another one computer.
