I Have seriously a very frustrating problem. Now here is the problem when call comes in and for reason if i couldn't pick it up after some time when i check my iphone i get Kind of
image. once i get this image none of the option on the image works. I have switch off my iphone and turn it back again. This is very frustrating. Please help.. One of fren also had this problem long time back he suggest to update my iso to latest which i did. But still i have the same probleM. I tried to see from the setting option to disable this crap but couldn't find it. Please please help me on this how to disable this Kind msg display. Am sick and tried of switching off and turning back my ipho

It sounds like your iPhone isn't responding after missing a call and receiving a notification. If you haven't already, try to restart the iPhone and then restore it if the issue persists.

Hi! Last night I plugged the phone to the wall charger and it started charging as usual, but this morning it wasn't charging and the battery was at 50%. Unfortunately now it has been off battery for many hours already, and tried everything I saw online (restoring, restarting, etc, but even pressing both buttons, nothing happens). Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like you have no service on the iPhone. It looks like you have already done some troubleshooting. There is one step you did not mention trying that i think is worth trying.
If you see No Service in the status bar of your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
Remove the SIM card. If the SIM card is damaged, worn, or bent, or if it's too big or small for the SIM tray, contact your carrier for a new one. Then reinsert the SIM card.

If your phone is turned off or not connected to the Internet, you will be unable to locate it. Last known location is only stored for 24 hours.

Can I replace my Apple Remote with some kind of iphone app?

I have an old Macbook, late '07. It's from back when they still shipped with a remote control (those little white ones) included in the box, but I've since updated the OS and it's now running Snow Leopard (10.6.8).
I haven't used the remote an awful lot, but I use it enough that it's an item I always end up packing 'just in case' when I go on a trip. I was wondering if there was a way I could replace the functionality of the remote with some kind of app I could download on my iphone, because this would give me one less item to keep track of so I don't end up losing it.
I do some fairly active travelling, sometimes switching hotels and whole locations every one or two nights, and I always end up with a fair amount of gear that would put a big dent in my budget to replace. So the less things I have to pay attention to, the less likely I am to end up misplacing something or having a moment of inattention that leads to a theft
My iphone is a 3GS running 5.1.1 The app doesn't have to be free, but I would prefer to keep it under the $10 mark if possible.

If you have a warranty you should use it but if you dont mind spending the money you can buy a new head set for 30 bucks I did still one of the best purchases I ever mad you can do it buy going to your local store and look under the electronics deparment and look for apple headphones with inline mic or go online and just order from apple the headset it may cost you but sometimes it is worth every penny

There is no cache where the emails would be stored on the iPad, but you could try quitting the mail app and then launch it again and see if the emails return.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Tap the home button. Then try mail again.

IPhone 3G OS 3.0 (not able to start / receive phone calls)

Since I've updated to iPhone OS 3.0 I can't make phone calls via the "normal" cellular network. When my iPhone is on the 3G network everything works fine.
When my iPhone is on the "normal" cellular network with full signal and I try to make a phone call I get the "call failed" message after 10 to 20 seconds.
When the iPhone shows it's connected to my provider via the "normal" cellular network and people try to call me they reach the voice mail
Sometimes I can make a phone call via the "normal" cellular network and then after a couple of minutes the connection got lost and I get the "call failed" message.
Sometimes I can make a phone call via the "normal" cellular network and then after a couple of minutes I can hear the other side of the connection but they can't hear me anymore.

I tried to restore the phone now for a couple of times without restoring the backup but nothing seems the solve this issue. I tried with different SIM cards (iPhone is sim-lock free, Belgium iPhone) but all with the same issues. At this time I don't use the iPhone anymore and switched back to my old phone "Sony Ericsson K750i" because otherwise I want be able to receive phone calls when I'm in a area where there isn't any 3G network available.
Apple please fix this issue, I've got my iPhone for the "Phone" part, not the "i" part.

I have exactly the same problem with my Q-Three and 3GS 3.0. I haven't found a solution. Motorola bluetooth works fine. Previously used the Q-Three with a Samsung T919 without issue. You can try resetting it to see if that turns it on, but if it does not work, the iPhone is probably damaged from the fall and you should take it to an Apple Store so that they can have a look and determine if it is repairable. An out of warranty replacement will cost you money but much less than if you had to buy a new phone.

Depends on the type of Message.
SMS messages will send and receive with data off. and while you can guarantee you send using SMS you cannot guarantee that whoever replies to you does also. They may be replying thorugh iMessage if they are using iPhones.
However Android should be sending through SMS.
You can turn off iMessage if you want to, though people with limtied SMS text messaging in their plans may not appreciate it, and stop messaging you.

Some of the sound option are not working. Like the speaker phone button, phone will only light up will not ring at all.
Keystroke sound is not working as well, bit when I plug earphones sound work with those and does work when using it like regular phone. DOSE ANYONE HAVE A CLUE ABOUT THE CAUSE OR THE FIX ON THE PROBLEM???? PLEASE HELP?????

I'm sorry to hear of the sound issues you are experiencing with your iPhone. I understand how frustrating it can be and will be more then happy to help get this resolved as soon as possible. To better assist you I need to ask a few questions.
How long have you had this issue? Has there been any physical damage to the phone? Is the issue intermittent? What troubleshooting steps have you taken?
What iOS do you have running on your phone? Installing the latest version of iOS 5 may resolve the issue. You can determine which version of software is installed on your iPhone by navigating to the About screen or by connecting the device to your computer and using iTunes.
1. Press the Home button to return to the Home Screen.
2. Select Settings > General > About.
3. The software version of your device will be listed on this screen.
If you are not running iOS 5, iTunes can update your device to the latest available iOS software. An update doesn't affect your user content or settings. iTunes creates a backup of your iOS device and then performs the update. Follow these steps to update your device:
1. Verify that you are using the latest version of iTunes before attempting to update.
2. Connect your iOS device to your computer.
3. Select your iOS device when it appears in iTunes under Devices.
4. Select the Summary tab.
5. Click "Check for Update"
If you continue to experience issues with the sound on your device after updating the software, please let us know so we can further troubleshoot.

That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.
