IPhone Ringtones Will not Work
I bought three songs from iTunes and created three ring tones from them. Once I had created them, I attempted to sync them all into my iPhone but none worked, It informed me that my computer was unauthorized and I needed to authorize it by clicking on store and going to authorize computer (store > authorize computer). I proceeded by doing as instructed and then I synced it once again. When I did this, only one of my ring tones was synced over and the other two were not. A pop-up occurred that said "some of the items in the iTunes library, including "believe" (one of the songs I chose to be my ring tone) "were not copied to the iPhone, 'Darren's iPhone' because you are not authorized to play them on this computer." Then it gave me the same command to go to store and authorize my computer once again, only this time, it was saying two items instead of three items were not synced to my iPhone.
Any help?
I found this information on another forum and it worked for me... Try renaming the ring tone to a shorter name.

So, I am travelling to Italy next week. I am from the US. VW's "Trip Planner" suggests my iPhone 5s will not work there. Then, they suggest (via options below) that I can send Txt for $0.050/txt and Receive for $0.05/txt. How can I confirm which is true?

IPhone 4S will not work at all.
My brand new iPhone 4S will not turn on or off. It has the circle that is used when it is loading something, but that just stays the same. I have entered the serial # correctly several times, and your website won't accept it. My landphone also is not working today, so I'm unable to call.

Email on iPhone 4 will not work on wi-fi
iPhone 4 will not use wi-fi for email and I live in a mobile black spot.
My iPad works ok over the same wi-fi network.
Browsing on the iPhone is ok on the same network.
The settings on iPhone and iPad are identical for sending and receiving mail.
If the wind is blowing in the right direction and I set my phone in a south facing window (as soon as I pick it up the signal goes) it works over the 3G but it is very flaky.
Latest iOS loaded 4.3.3 (8J2)

Getting a little frustrated...as I mentioned my iPad works fine. Is this an iPhone 'feature'?Go to Settings App > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. If that doesn't work try Backing up and restoring the iPhone with iTunes on computer. If it still not working then you may be having a hardware issue ..you then will want to call apple and find out your warranty status

I have an iphone 4 that i bought about two weeks ago from a cell phone repair place. It was working fine up until this morning. I woke up this morning and unplugged my phone from the charger. It was fine then. I went to go to work this morning and my phone would not work. I tried restarting it, but when it gets to the screen where you have to hold and drag the icon it freezes. when i try to shut it off the power button won't work forcing me to restart it. When I plug it into a charger it won't even go the the first screen, it just restarts itself over and over again. I don't know what is wrong with it but I have no idea what to do. please help.
Try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts, ignoring the red slider if it appears.
If that will not work, then you need to take it to an Apple store genius bar and have the techs check it.
You could take it back to the store where you bought it but it sounds like they do not know exactly what they are doing. -
Mic on headphones for iPhone 4 will not work. What could possibly be wrong?
Mic for headphones (iphone4) will not work. When I use voice control, the lines are up and down (almost like there is some type of noise) even though I am not speaking into it. Speakers are working, whether it's from music or using the phone. I've tried turning the phone on/off and it still does not work. Not sure what else to do. I just recently bought these headphones approx 4-5 months ago.
There are three types of 3.5 mm headphone jacks - TS, TRS, and TRRS. Tip, Ring, Sleeve.

Currently the two parts closest to the cord (2nd Ring and Sleeve) are used for the microphone. Some vendors use the sleeve for the mic, and some use the ring.

Do not get an iphone 5 if you want to use it with a Chrysler product. The Chrysler Uconnect system might pair with your phone but the uconnect system will usually abend and become unusable after a few telephone conversations. I have been to the dealer twice. They have reset the uconnect system twice and I find it works for about 2 to 3 phone calls then it abends and uconnect becomes useless. They had me call Chrysler at 1-800-247-9753. I was told that the iphone five is not compatable at this time with any chrysler uconnect phone through the dash system, even the new vehicles. He had me get on this web site: www.uconnectphone.com as a place to monitor as when it would be compatable. They told me that Samsung seems to be working harder to make it compatible than apple is and they had no idea when it would begin to work. In effect Chrysler was telling me dump the iphone and get a Samsung if you want it to work in a Chrysler. Also, the site would only give you information for Chrysler that were 2008 or newer, they gave the following number to call if your vehicle was older. I called that number and they told me that Chrysler and Uconnect had no plans at all to make the iphone 5 work, in the future, on any Chrysler older than 2008. So.......If you have a Chrysler or Dodge that is older than 2008 you will NEVER be able to use an iphone5 on the uconnect through the dash system. Do not buy an iphone if you have an older vehicle. It will never be supported for the $1,000 you paid for this uconnect system on your car. My car is a 2005 Town and Country. I asked both Chrysler and uconnect if their was some sort of work around so I could use my phone. They both told me their was not and that they had no plans to resolve this situation for my vehicle. This means that I need to either get rid of my $42,000 vehicle with low milage or get rid of my Iphone 5. Niether are really good options.
I was also givne the following places to send formal complaints, even though I was told that neither Chrysler, Dodge or Apple were going to do anything to correct my problem:

I have a 2012 Dodge Charger and a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country and both worked flawlessly with the iPhone 5s my wife and I had. However, we just upgraded to the iPhone 6 and Uconnect will receive calls but you cannot answer them. You can callout successfully, however. the annoyance being the inability to answer incoming calls in the HandsFree mode.

Looking for some assistance. I downloaded an audiobook from iTunes. It was 11 hours long. Originally it worked on my iPhone, but stopped working after 44 minutes into the book. I tried to re-load the book but it would only load a portion of it and would then would not play. I then was able to get the same half of the book loaded into my laptop, but then not onto my iPhone. Anysuggestions, other than re-purchasing the book?

Ringtones will not work - need help!
Ok, so assuming I have done everything right, here is my problem. I have ringtones I downloaded. I set my phone to a special ring tone and I set a contact to have a different ring tone.
When my phone rings from that contact it does not ring with the tone I specified, only the main ring tone I set for my phone.
In my options it says that it will use the ring tone for all calls except important calls and the call from my contact.
I got on the phone with BB tech support at Verizon who had me re-verify how I set my ring tones, and then even had my reset my phone. The phone will still only recognize the one ring tone. It will not ruse the ring tone I set for a particular contact. They think my phone may be defective.
Does anyone know of a setting that may need to be changed somewhere else to get this to work? It should be very easy to get a ring tone to work, but I also know there are so many sub menus and settings on this phone maybe there is another step.
Can some one help?

My iPhone 4S suddenly quit working. The screen will only show when it is plugged into power. It will not connect with my service provider. Its like the phone has been reset or something.
Sounds like you need to bring the phone to Apple for evaluation.
