Iphone rotate horizantly and dnt back to vertical
hi i am Khalid i bought a new iphone 3GS 23GB but i found that there is something wrong in rotating.. when i try to open Messages, contacts, photos or facebook in the vertical position 0 degree for the iphone the screen may stay in vertical but if u do a slight move it will rotate 90 CW and stay at that view no matter what is the position of the iphone, it may go back for a second after 10000 trying!! but it will back to 90 degree cw with anymove! what is the problem what should i do ?? do apple will replace it for me!! its new!!! this is the second day :((( what a luck!!
You can try these suggestions:
* Power off the iPhone - Hold sleep until the red bar shows and slide it off. Then restart it a minute later.
* Restore the apps by unchecking everything on iTunes iPhone app section - Note this will delete your app data if not on an online server.
* Restore the iPhone using backup - Ditto along with some iPhone data.
* Clean Restore the iPhone - This will delete everything and reinstall everything you have.
* Visit an AT&T Store or Apple Store for a probable replacement varying on warranty conditions (Dropped it, watered it, etc. void warranty)

After reformatting my pc. I reinstalled iTunes and was going to back up my iPhone from iCloud (I had backed up to iCloud before reformatting). I did not get that option. How can I back up my phone to the backup I saved on ICloud ?

I have had my iphone 5 stolen/have lost my iphone 5. I haven't backed it up for a while (2 months?!) and I am not sure that I actually set up Photostream however it's always been on there from what I can tell (icon is there). Is there anyway of getting back contacts/messages/photos/anything from the phone onto my new replacement phone if it hadn't been backed up recently? I've got everything up until the last backup - contacts and messages aren't such an issue for me but the photos mean a lot!!!
If you are logged in to icloud with your same Apple ID. Go to setting on your phone>Photos & Camera and turn ON my Photo Stream.

IPhone turning off and not back on again unless reset
Hi, thanks for looking. When unplugged from a power source and put in sleep mode manually or automatically, the phone won't turn back on unless I reset it. This means that it won't recieve any incoming texts or calls, and my alarm won't go off either. I've already ran through the trouble shooter, reset it to factory defaults, etc. Any help is appreciated
Two things to try; most likely you phone actually has an issue and you need to set up at appointment at your nearest apple store ot have it fixed (apple.com/retail) pick whatever store is closest.
However; windows computers often "attack" ipods or iphones thinking they are a virus. You may want to turn off your virus protection and plug the phone in again and try restoring it without any virus stuff on.
However, it sounds as long it's not a software issue but a hardware one and restore won't fix that. -

I have just now tried the Reinstall via iTunes, about 20 into the download, the iTunes logo on the phone disappeared, and the Apple Logo appeared again,,, I waited until the iTunes stated that the download had finished, and the install was in progress,,,
Nothing happened, still the Apple Logo was visual on the screen, iTunes never recognised the phone which it was on my iTunes account previously,,,
Still just a bunch of lines, maybe 5 or 6 so small writing,, I personally can not read what it is telling me, someone said it reads, incorrect shutdown,,,????????

since upgrading to 10.8, my wireless stalls out. The drop down under the wireless icon says “Wi-Fi: Looking for networks… and has a rotating gear. I have to turn the wireless off and then back on to get back on the internet. Does anyone have a solution? All iPhones and iPad and windows computers work fine.

I accidentally clicked "restore" when I meant to "back up" on my iphone 5, is there anyway I can undo that and get back to what I had?
Once the Device is being Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything...

4 voice memos in iTunes backup from iPhone had ! marks and would not play so I deleted them and although they are still on the iPhone, they will not sync back to iTunes from iPhone.
You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

I have both my iPhone and iPad backing up via iCloud but the data is not being shared between the devices. When I backup it appears to be working as there are no error messages but the data is not shared between each. Any help would be great as this is very frustrating.
Backing up to icloud is not the same as syncing data between devices. Go to
Settings>Store. Turn on the automatic downloads that you want on that screen.
Settings>iCloud. Turn on the features you want to sync between devices. -
MY IPhone will not let me back up my phone or download the IOS 7 update because it says i do not have enough storage space. But I deleted all of my apps and pictures just to update it and it still wont let me do it. What should I do?

I recently had to restore my iPhone, and it was from my MacBook Pro cause I don't know how to restore it from iCloud. Is there a way to back it up on both devices?
Well I haven't updated my signature. I think all of my contacts got swiped from iCloud when I was trying to sync them all to my iPhone, Macbook Pro, and iPad 2. So I'm hoping if I restore, they will come back. How do I restore from iCloud?

Every time i try to send a text from my iphone 4 it cloes out and goes back to the home screen. why?
So i go to send a text and when i hit send it closes everything and goes back to the home scren. i have restarted it and reset it but nothing works.
Try restarting your iPhone by holding down the on/off and the home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo.
