IPhoto album updates / new albums not reflected in ATV

I have an iMac on 10.7.5 and iPhoto 9.4.1 and want to be able to view selected iPhoto albums on my Apple TV. However, changes I make to albums, or new albums I create on iPhoto are not relected on my ATV. Main problem is new albums I create (and check to share in the Sharing window of iPhoto) are not being reflected on ATV. Can anyone help, please.

Many internet sites such as Flickr and SmugMug have plug-ins for accessing the iPhoto Library. If the site you want to use doesn’t then some, one or any of these will also work:
To upload to a site that does not have an iPhoto Export Plug-in the recommended way is to Select the Pic in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export and export the pic to the desktop, then upload from there. After the upload you can trash the pic on the desktop. It's only a copy and your original is safe in iPhoto.
This is also true for emailing with Web-based services. However, if you're using Gmail you can use iPhoto2GMail
If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
*If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running*:
Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser
Other options include:
1. *Drag and Drop*: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
2. *File -> Export*: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
3. *Show File*: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder, launch iPhoto and try again. You'll have to reset the user selected preferences in iPhoto.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. Photo Page, Add albums, creates new "Album Pages", style?

Working with iWeb09, I created a single photo gallery page, then I drop in an album from iPhoto, looks and works great. I edit the resulting page and it looks great, but when I add another iPhoto album, it creates a new photo page automatically. How can I get that page to look the same as the previous pages? It seems to default to the template default.

ADDENDUM: This might work but may be more effort than just editing the layout.
1 - select the page that the album creates and duplicate it (select and type Command+D) - Page A
2 - add the new album.
3 - go to the new album's page - Page B, select and copy the thumbnail box.
4 - go to Page-A, click on the thumbnail box, select all of the photos in it and delete.
5 - Do a paste to bring in the new photos from B.
6 - delete page B and rename A to what B was named.
7 - change any text boxes as needed.
8 - select the image for the second album, go to the Inspector/Link/Hyperlink and link it to page A via the Link to one of my pages menu.
Sounds like a lot but may be quicker than modifying the layout each time. Or not.

My iphoto cannot update and will not open

I got my computer from someone else and they had their email in for most of the updates. My iphoto being one of them. When the update came out your'e forced to update to open it again, but I am unable to because the previous owners email and password is stuckinthe option to update. How can I change the update to be on my apple ID. Or how to just open my iphoto without updating.

New properties not reflecting in ACC

I am new to ATG.I was trying to add some properties in ACC. So, that i have added the item-descriptor in userprofiling.xml and created the related tables in oracle database.I have created 5 tables.Among them one was previously present in the database.I have dropped that and created all the tables.I have created a table with a name that i have dropped.When i started the server i found new properties are not reflected in the ACC and i found the following warning in console.

Qualification Information updated in PUI not reflected in Self Service

Hi there,
I noticed that when I update my qualification information via sefl service, after HR approval, this information is reflected in the Qualification forms in the PUI.
However, if I update my qualification via PUI, this information is not reflected in my self service page.
Im currently lost as to tracking why is this happening. Im not even able to locate the tables these information are written into.
Any clue would be great!

You also might want to try myDataProvider.refresh(), where myDataProvider is the data provider for the DataGrid. Make sure you are using a collection like ArrayCollection or XMLListCollection and you are using the [Bindable] metadata tag.

New field not reflecting in Table maintenance generator

I have added a new field in a ztable.I regenerated the table maintenance generator,so that the new field is reflecting in devlopment system , also a TR got created.When i moved this TR to pre-production system new fields are reflecting in the structure of table but not in table maintenance generator.

Mac OS X Lion Software Update service does not reflect 10.7.1 update

Hi all,
I recently upgraded my Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard server to 10.7.
Everything went ok, and the server tools are installed and working.
Last week, Apple released the 10.7.1 update, but this update is not reflected in the Lion Server's Software Update service.
Every time I start the catalog sync (either in the Server Admin app, or through Terminal), the sync process completes correctly without any errors, but the latest 10.7.1 update is not listed in the available updates.
Did I miss something there ?

I followed KBase art HT4771, and made the following changes:
1. Stopped the Software Update Service and quit Server Admin app
2. Updated /etc/swupd/swupd.plist to begin hosting OS X Lion software updates by typing the following Terminal command:
sudo /usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c 'add :otherCatalogs:2 string index-lion-snowleopard-leopard.merged-1.sucatalog' /etc/swupd/swupd.plist
3. Updated /etc/swupd/swupd.conf to allow OS X Lion computers to receive updates as follows:
     "RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} Darwin/11
     RewriteRule ^/index\.sucatalog$ /index-leopard-snowleopard.merged-1.sucatalog"
became

After completing this and restarted the Software Update Service, the Server's Software Update Service could find all updates, including Mac OS X 10.7.1 and more Lion updates (Multi-lingual voices, Server Essentials, ... ).
The issue is now that the client computers cannot find the Software Update server, though it is properly connected, regardless the selected catalog in /Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.
I am now considering to erase all updates from server, delete all config files, and restart service from scratch.
Any other idea before I start the big deletion ?

Outlook 2010 - Updates To Meeting Not Reflecting on Invitee's Calendar

Hello -
Our environment is Exchange 2007 with Outlook 2010 client. Our executive assistant has full access permissions to our CEO's Exchange account and handles the calendar among other things. For some reason, when she creates a calendar event then makes changes
to it or deletes it, the changes do not reflect on the calendars of the invitees. I verified that she is following the correct steps to create/update events but the problem persists for some recipients; not all.
If someone could offer some guidance about what might be root cause, I would greatly appreciate it.

According to your description, I understand that the meeting updates which is sent by the user who has full access permission to CEO’s mailbox can’t update some attendees’ calendars.
Please check whether there is any user using third-party devices to manage Calendar. If it is, please disable it. We can try to remove full access permission to CEO’s mailbox and add it back to have a try. If it fails, please consider to add the executive
assistant as a delegate for CEO. To do it, please following these steps:
1. Open Outlook in CEO’s computer, click File > Account Settings > Delegate Access.
2. Click Add to select the assistant, and Delegate Permissions for assistant window appears.
3. CEO can set folder permission for assistant and check “Delegate receive copies of meeting-related messages send to me”.
4. Click OK to finish settings.
Then check whether the issue persists.

IPhoto Album updating iWeb Album page

OK .. I'm lost! I created an iWeb Album page and a new matching iPhoto album to put the photos in. Now I've added new photos to the iPhoto album and they don't show up in iWeb. There is a lot of work on the iWeb page with a lot of descriptions etc and I don't want to have to delete the page and drag in the new updated album. What am I missing? How to I sync any newly added pictures in the iPhoto album with the iWeb album?

The iWeb pages don't automatically update like iPhoto Web Galleries do. You will have to add the new photos to the iWeb photo page and republish that page.
If you were using a iPhoto Web Gallery in an iWeb page then all you would have to do is click on the publish button in iPhoto and the gallery would be updated when accessed via iWeb.

Albums in "Purchased" section not reflected in Store browsing.

Okay, can anyone help with this? I have signed out of iTunes, quit, relaunched and signed back in.
If I go browse an artist I like in the iTunes Store, I naturally want to find things I don't already own.
This is on a Mac 10.9.2 shopping in iTunes. 11.whatever.
But items I've bought are not showing up. Some are, some are not. For example. I purchased ALL SIX of these on iTunes.
AND they are all downloaded on the Mac I'm shopping from. They're in my Library.
Now, if I go to my "Purchased" section, everything is accurate.
So? ***? How do I get the Store display correct? After all, that's where I need to know what I own. When I'm shopping for new music.

Updated xml schema not reflected in Import Manager and Syndicator

Hi all,
We have a perfectly running MDM scenario using custom XML schema for import and syndication. I have now updated the schema by adding a couple of fields to the schema and uploaded the new schema to MDM using Console - Admin - XML Schemas, and we have added the same fields in the repository. However, when I open Import Manager or Syndicator the xml schema is not updated, it is still showing the old version without the new fields. The fields added to the repository show up just fine.
I have searched around the forum and it suggests I actually have to re-create manually all mappings with the new schema?! I cannot believe this is really necessary and would mean massive amounts of work.
I have tried to export old maps and create new map with new schema. Then the new fields show up, but when I import the previously exported map the old schema returns and the new fields disappear.
Any help with this seemingly very odd behavior is very much appreciated!

is not completely true. You have to differentiate the MDM version and the tools:
MDM 7.1 Import Manager: uses the actual XSD of MDM Console
MDM 7.1 Syndicator: stores the XSD as part of the map and disregards the one in MDM Console
MDM 5.5 Import Manager: stores the XSD as part of the map and disregards the one in MDM Console

Why are my apps (updates & new apps) not downloading?

I am wondering why the apps that I update of apps that I already have on my IPhone and also any new apps that I try to download won't download. It continues to say "waiting". This even happens when I am connected on a "wifi network".

I have the IPhone 4 (3G). Which setting are you talking about?
It happened again this morning. I had updates to 7 different apps today. So I went through the process of starting the updates. At the time I was @ home connected to my home wireless network which is the N protocol router (wifi). None of them would download while I was at home. While I was on the 3G driving to work they still said waiting. Even when I got to work, they continued to say waiting. I connect to a wifi network when I am @ work also. It was like this for at least a half hour or more and then all of them will download quick. It really seems like it is some kind of "throttling" that either Verizon or the App Store is putting on me. I understand that if I am on Verizon's 3G network that this is a possibility but when I am on several different wifi networks and it still continues is where I am concerned that I might be having more of a problem.
Any advice would be appreciated!

New Changes not reflecting in Quality Box.

Hi,
I have made changes to the Selection screen of a report in Development Box and released the transport request to Quality Box.
The transport got released without any errors to the Quality Box , but I still cant see the Selection screen changes made to the report.
I checked the version of transport in Quality box and also the Abap code. They are the same as in Development. But it does not show the Selection screen changes made in Development box.
In Short (Development Box shows the changes , Quality box although transport is released shows no changes)
What could be the reason.

You can try to regenerate the navigation index for the program.
Goto main program in quality (SE38) --> Source Code Editor --> Utilities --> Update Navigation Index.

IPhoto new albums problem

I've noticed a weird problem with my iPhoto lately. I can create new albums just fine in iPhoto itself, but when I go to my Finder and hit Pictures>iPhoto Library>Albums, the new albums don't show up as new folders. Is there something wrong here, or am I just using an outdated version of iPhoto?

As long as the albums are there when iPhoto is open, don't worry about it. You shouldn't be poking around in the iPhoto Library folder in the Finder anyway — all you can do in there is corrupt iPhoto's database and make the app lose track of the rest of your stuff. There is no reason to go there at all — everything you need to do with your photos can and should be done from within iPhoto.
