Irig106 file write

Hi everyone,
Iam trying to write the analog data in IRIG106 (.ch10) file format, In Labview we are having the storage/dataplugin on the pallet by using which we can read the files by using the respective dataplugins.
We can see the data using the Datafileviewer.vi  available on the  vi pallet.
Can anyone suggest me how to write the file in IRIG106 (.ch10) file format using LabVIEW.
Thanks in Advance
Thanks & Regards
Ikram

  • Introducing a wait after Send step - file write in cc BPM

    Hi
We have a cc BPM - in which we have a send step - that writes a to a file system - we have a transport acknowledgement requested in this step  - which we receive in runtime - once the message is passed into the Adapter engine ( not after the file is written )
The requirement is that the next step after this send step should not be started until the file is written to the folder. We have an option of introducing a wait - but do not want to delay the BPM by a full minute ( the least wait time is a minute ) .
How do we make sure that the step after send step - file write executes only after the file is written to the folder in the send step ?
Any ideas, solutions, work arounds ?

we have a transport acknowledgement requested in this step - which we receive in runtime - once the message is passed
into the Adapter engine ( not after the file is written )
Transport Ack sends back the ACK when the message is successfully delivered from the Adapter Engine (channel) to the end system.....and not when the message is transferred to Adapter Engine....if there is any error in sending message to AE then the BPM does not need Transport Ack logic to ctach it....only Exception Branch is enough then
is there any other way of introducing a wait - less than a minute
The Wait step of BPM cannot go below the minimum limit of 1 minute......if you want to introduce a delay of some seconds then in a mapping use the Thread.sleep logic and check.....this will slow down (stop) the processing....for more info refer:
Re: Delay in MM possible ?

  • ORA-29285: file write error

    Hi,
We are getting this error ORA-29285: file write error while writing to a text file using utl_file.putf package.
Using fopen funtion in code to open file as below:
    V_FILEHANDLE:=UTL_FILE.FOPEN(v_file_path,'ABC','W', max_linesize);
Here max linesize = 32000, so as far as I think, limitation on length of records while writing the file is not an issue.
    Further code is written as:
    UTL_FILE.PUTF(V_FILEHANDLE, v_text1||'|'||v_text2||'|');
    UTL_FILE.NEW_LINE(V_FILEHANDLE);
UTL_FILE.FFLUSH(V_FILEHANDLE); -- This is called after every 500 lines are written to the file.
    UTL_FILE.FCLOSE(V_FILEHANDLE);
We are encountering this error every now and then, and strangely this gets resolved when we re-run the program and file gets written successfully.
Can someone please help on this please?
    Oracle database 11g, version: 11.1.0.7.0

  • File Write Adapter, First record as a Column Header

    Hi,
Using File adapter of type WRITE i m creating a file.
I want to include the column header also as a first record in File.
One way i can think of Creating one record manually and append as a first record in the File write variable.
Is there any other simple way or standard way to do it??

To have fixed header every time before it writes the data, i think you should have file with header and data, then use it to configure file write in JCA adapter.
This will create a schema with static header and dynamic results to the schema file.
So that everytime you will have the header then it write the data below that.
Note: I have done this some years back, i wrote here with from my memory.
Let me know if you still have problem, wll try to create a simple example and share.
    Thanks,
    Vijay

  • Preview(610) deny file-write-create issue

I was reviewing a document in Preview (a PDF that I downloaded from the internet) and added annotations with notes and rectangles - frequently using cmd-S to save versions (I could see the older versions ising "Revert document..."  After I closed and re-opened the document (and reverted to my home time zone (I did the work on a plane) all but my first edits were gone.  In addition, I keep getting asked if I want to open a file downloaded from the Internet.  Very odd.  I went into Console and saw a series if items:

Not sure what to do.  Have started redoing 3 hours of work saving, closing and reopening.  Still get the "Do you want to open a file downloaded from the Internet" but the recent work appears to be there.  VERY UNNERVING that so much work could be lost.
I should also mention that my computer defaults to opening PDFs with Adobe Reader but for this one I used command-I to change the default application to Preview since it was so much better at annotating (or so I thought).
Any insight or suggestions?  Just tried resetting permissions with Disk Utility and this time it did not ask if I wanted to open a downloaded file.

Repairing the permissions of a home folder in Lion is a complicated procedure. I don’t know of a simpler one that always works.
Launch the Terminal application by entering the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. If that doesn’t work, then in the Finder, press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
Drag or copy – do not type – the following line into the Terminal window, then press return:
    chmod -R -N ~
If you get an error message about permissions, enter this:
    sudo !!
You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up.
Next, boot from your recovery partition by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the recovery desktop appears, select Utilities ▹ Terminal from the menu bar.
In the Terminal window, enter “resetpassword” (without the quotes) and press return. A Reset Password window opens.
Select your boot volume if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Under Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs, click the Reset button.
Select  ▹ Restart from the menu bar.

    Hi Experts,
    I've a procedure where I'm using

On executing the proc, a blank file (size=0) is getting generated in the UNIX directory. But it also throws an error to the client where I'm executing the proc.

I didn't understand you clearly but this sounds like something helpful. Can you put some more light on this?
    Why because -
    "This is in directory TEST_DIR"
    -rw-r--r--   1 oracle   emk            0 May  8 01:54 file_x.xml
    "This is in directory TEST_X"
-rw-r--r--   1 oracle   oinstall  116274 May  8 02:09 file_x.xmlWhat does the 4th column indicate? Some special user? The 4th column is the unix group name rather than the 3rd column which is the owner name.
Did you manually create that file_x.xml in the TEST_DIR directory, or has that been created by Oracle? If so, then Oracle has been able to write to the directory, so the issue may be around space on the disk?
    Just to check do...
df -k .in the TEST_DIR directory and see what it reports.

So this is just Preview adding this every 30 seconds to the logs. Similar errors occur, for example, when Spotlight indexes movies.
Does anyone have an idea what is causing this and how to fix it?
    Thanks,
    Stefan

    Mine looks like this:
    drwx------  251 stefan  staff     8534 27 Jul 15:29 ByHost
And the first few lines look like this:
    drwx------+ 763 stefan  staff    25942 27 Jul 15:41 .
    0: group:everyone deny delete
    drwx------@  60 stefan  staff     2040 25 Jul 09:27 ..
    0: group:everyone deny delete
But as I said in my initial post, such errors do not only appear for the ByHost folder. It happens for various preferences, for example, when Spotlight indexes a M4V movie and tries to create/access a codec property file. Or here are some other examples when Safari is running:

  • File Write Keyword Tag don't create a xmp file

    Hi,
    I use PSE 8 with WIN7 64 Ultimate.
When I used the  File > Write Keyword Tag command, no xmp file is created. I saw, that the filename was renamed to xxx_edTMP-1.NEF for a short time and than the original name is show. The changedate of the file is not changed Sometimes the file is not renamed the new name is xxxx_edTMP-1.NEF.
    Why?
    Nils

I assume that you are trying to write tags assigned to a Raw original.
There is a bug that sometimes PSE does not write tags (or other metadata) to .xmp for Raw files. This usually depends on the type of file; this command never seems to work for .NEF files.
A workaround is to use John R Ellis's psedbtool

  • 'Add Output Header' option of File Write Adapter

    Hi All,
Could you please tell what is this option used for :
    'Add Output Header'
In a File Write Adapter, and how can I test it?
    Thanks.

    Thanks,
    Vijay

  • File Write In Batches Is Not Consistent.

    Hi,
Could you please explain why File Write in batches behaving like this:
    http://lksoablogs.blogspot.com/2012/01/file-write-in-batches-is-not-consistent.html
    Thanks.

The FileRead publishes a message after 2 "messages" / lines are read to the Mediator.
The Mediator sends these to the FileWrite.
The FileWrite starts to write output to the file after 2 messages are recieved (these messages contain 2 lines from the original file)....
What do you want to achieve? What results do you want to get?
    hth,
    Peter Paul

  • Sandbox deny file-write-create

I'm working on a webcam capture app (sandboxed on Mac OS X for App Store submission).
I'm getting .GlobalPreferences plist create sandbox violation.
The same file is being accessed again and again in multiple scenarios and hence the sandbox violation is coming many times. I'm attaching the first deny report. In all the violations, the error is coming from CoreFoundation framework itself.
The preference is being accessed from /Users/labuser/Library/Preferences/ByHost/.GlobalPreferences.0AE3B6CF-AFFB-5E6A- 9D1B-0980457923BD.plist, but in a sandbox app, it should have been /Users/labuser/Library/Containers/com.test.TestApp/Data/Library/Preferences/ByHost/.GlobalPreferences.0AE3B6CF-AFFB-5E6A-9D1B-0980457923BD.plis t
Can anyone please help me resolve the error. Thanks for any help.

  • Is it right to use the "sound file write simple.vi"?

I had a problem to use the Sound File Write Simple.vi  that is it can not save the data.
The links are shown in the following picture.
I wonder is it right for me to use that vi like that shown in the picture?
And why I can not save file as *.wav while I can save it as a *.txt?
    Thank you!

No command lines do not work inside stored procedures.
Firstly, remember that the stored procedure is running on the database server so any files it can access have to be on the server itself.
ZIP is an operating system command, so you would have to have some java code or some other means of shelling out to the operating system to execute it, an area which I'm not to familiar with doing myself as I've never found a need to.
Have you looked at Oracles own UTL_COMPRESS package?

  • Error: Insufficient disk space & file write permissions

when my client edits a page and the click save i get the following error:
the permissions for the includes folder are 755.
I dont have this problem on other websites however and they are setup the same way.

I am having the identical problem this week with incontext editing of a website I could edit fine last week with incontext editing but this week I cannot save changes to any page I try to edit, even though I've not made any changes to the site in the week since.
If I Edit one page and try to save the changes, I get one of two errors:
"The operation could not be performed because a problem occured while attempting to connect to the server. Please check your connection and try again."
    or
"The operation could not be performed because there is insufficient disk space or the file write permission is not granted."
I then went to the Incontext editing control panel, Manage Users, Configure Site and there I can click Test Connection and it reports it can successfully connect to the site using FTP. But when I try to Save that Configure Site (even though I've made no changes except to click Test Connection) I get two different errors each time I try...
The first error reported was the unable to connect to the server error.
"The operation could not be performed because a problem occured while attempting to connect to the server. Please check your connection and try again."
    or
"Configure Site Error. An FTP error occurred. A test file could not be copied to the specified Host Directory. Your FTP user may not have sufficient permissions to access the folder and/or its content."
I am 100% certain there is no problem on the server with insufficient disk space or file permissions, so this is an incorrect error message being reported by InContext Editing. I can connect to the site and make and save changes with Dreamweaver with the identical FTP settings. This site is on a server at GoDaddy that has plenty of disk space and I can see that all the permissions on site folders are set correctly.
At this point I have a very frustrated client who is anxious to edit web pages but cannot.
