Is anyone having trouble with the Ios5 update? All videos are slow!

When I try to watch YouTube, or any movies it takes forever. I didn't have this issue untill this update (beginning to hate I did it). Someone please help me I can't even see my soaps!!!!

I was just keying some green screen and playing back when it crashes. I have 4 other edit suites and we all are having issues since updating.
PP 2014.2 Release CC v8.1, Caravan 8.2.0 (65) Build OSX 10.8.3, 36GB RAM, GTX 680 2048 MB GPU.

Turned out the hardware was bad. Apple exchanged it for a new Mac Air and the new trackpad works great. Thank goodness it was a defect. If the trackpads all worked like that I would have been bummed.

Is anyone having trouble with the cursor jumping around while typing since you installed Lion? Never had any problems of that sort prior to Lion. I have an older machine. I believe it is a 2008 MacBook Pro. Especially happens with Yahoo. I am baffled.

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

is anyone having trouble with the keyboard sensitivity on the iphone? I am typing, but can sometimes get a delay of 5 seconds or more before the letters actually appear on the screen.
This is across all apps.
Does not seem to be an issue with opening apps or scrolling etc., but only with the keyboard.

I had this problem after downloading Dropbox. Once I uninstalled it, my keyboard was fine.

Anyone having trouble using the Singing Santa app. It worked for me last Christmas. Can't get it to process video this Christmas. I've deleted the app and downloaded it again, but I am having the same problem.

Have you tried turning your iPod off, then back on? Or a reset, press and hold both the power and home buttons together until the Apple logo appears, about 15 seconds+/-, then release both buttons. If still no joy, try going into Settings>General>Reset tap tap Reset All Settings. If problem continues connect to your computer, make backups of the stuff on your iPod to your computer, then Restore from backup, if still not working Restore to New. then reinstall your stuff. If restore to new does not correct you may have a hardware issue, contact your Apple store or Apple Genius Bar, make an appointment and have your iPod evaluated. Good luck, Cheers.

You will not belive how I accidently solved this - !!!
Yes I had the problem immediately after the 5.1.1 'cloud' upgrade, the problems started (on my iphone 4) ... I followed the 'get power down button, then hold HOME for 30 secs' solution, but no result, nothing seemed to work and I was starting to get a bit agressive with the keep it pushed, multiple double click frustrations, icopybot multigesture solutions etc. and paid money ... but this comedy solution now works ...
I discovered it because I ordered a waterproof case for my iphone for my motorcycle ... I've just fitted it to my iphone and all the problems have gone ??? what! ... so wondering why I looked at what the home button on the casing was doing - it was pressing ACROSS the home button i.e. it converted my finger point into a wider 'PRESS
so taking the new case off, instead of using the point of my thumb to press HOME, I used the flat of my thumb to emulate it ....and initially nothing, so I wondered if it wa making better 'cross button' contacts, so I licked my thumb, wiped it and then tried again! - it worked!
I can't explain it but it seems to work - try it! if the double click on HOME doesn't work lick your thumb dry it and try again! I've just done it again

I haven't but try resetting...
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Then restart your iPad.
No data will be lost as a result of a reset.

Anyone having trouble with the snooze function for the alarm? ...after update.

I've been using my phone as an alarm clock lately and after the latest firmware update I can't get the snooze to work on the alarm. The alarm goes off like it should and I select "snooze" with the ring but the alarm never goes off again. I was almost late to work the first time it did it.
Just checking to see if anyone else has experienced this. I have to say, I am not impressed with the latest "update" at all and have spent WAY too much time trying to get things to work again. If it wasn't a company issued phone I would've dropped the service long ago (no service at my desk at work or at home).

Try going into settings, apps and then manage apps. At the top scroll over and make sure all is selected. Scroll down and find the alarm app and tap on it. If clear data is populated then tap on it. After that tap on force close...you will get a warning but just press ok. If clear data is grayed out at least try force stop. Set your alarm back up and see if that works.

Anyone having issues with the latest update?

I did the latest update and after the update there was a picture of the Apple tv that had the power cord plugged in to it and a micro USB cord pointing to the iTunes symbol. Luckily I had a micro USB or I'd be screwed right now. Anyone else having this issue, and why?

Welcome to the Apple community.
This can happen for a number of reasons, the most likely reason is a glitch on the network somewhere that corrupted the file or there was something wrong with the Apple TV before the update was applied.
If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)

I have been trying to download the new updates but even when I follow the instructions given it still fails. Can anyone help?

I also had this issue, went through the help page at Error U44M1I210 | Install updates then got directed to Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC – unfortunately my error log did not contain a summary section.
I tried out Steve's suggestion and this fixed the issue and I can also use inDesign on the main account. Will I have to do this every time I get an InDesign update?

Is anyone having problems with the newest update of ITunes and then trying to update the Iphone 4?

I updated the ITunes on the computer and that went ok, but when i went to go and update the IPhone 4 it went to restore it to the factory settings and then something happened where it wouldn't let it update and now the phone is stuck in Limbo world with the apple symbol showing and a status bar, but nothing else. also the phone is not showing up as being plugged in while in this limbo faze.

Yes. I had problems with Firefox 3.5. The primary problem was very slow or never-ending loading of certain websites (particularly secure sites and sites with many features). I also have had similar, but not as bad, problems with Safari 4. I never had these problems with Safari 2 or Firefox 2. It just seems that with each update, the problems increased for me. I have read the Safari and Firefox forums and tried many fixes with little improvement. I have come to the conclusion that there is some kind of compatibility problem between the latest versions of Safari and Firefox and Shockwave Flash and/or Javascript and OS 10.4, particularly on PPC Macs. I expect there are many who will disagree and I cannot argue or prove the point. This is just my opinion. And I recognize that my problems could be caused by my setup and not by the browsers. By the way, I do not use any add-ons with any of my browsers. Anyway, I got tired of dealing with it and installed the latest version of Camino about 2 weeks ago. I also did a clean install of Firefox 3.0.13. Camino is working out great for me. It is simple and it works. No problems at all. So currently I am using Camino as my primary browser and Firefox 3.0.13 as my backup. I hope this helps.

Having trouble with the new update!

I recently just did the update with the OS X Yosemite and I hate it! I noticed that iTunes has a new update and I keep hitting the update button and it says it has been updated but the notification thing will not go away. I've tried quitting iTunes, restarting my laptop and shutting it off for about 5 minutes and it is still there!

I'm having a host of problems with my Liquid Mix and Logic (also Digital Performer too.. but that's another forum :0) ). I experience a great deal of latency and flanging when using two instances of it on a channel. How is it for everyone else?

First, contact Focusrite and make them aware of your LM/Logic problems. I'm communicating with a rep who said he wasn't aware of any issues with LM and Logic.
Next, I speculate the latest driver of the Version 2 software can't live up to it's claims of variable latency. When I follow the minimum latency of 1032 for the LM manager (as posted on their support site), LM and Logic behave well. The problem for me is I never use 512 in Logic.

Anyone having trouble with the proximity sensor using the otterbox defender case?

When I have the otterbox case on my proximity sensor is not working at all making it difficult talking on the phone I keep hitting mute etc with my cheek if I take the case off it works fine so its not the phone itself but I need the Case for protection any suggestions?

Hi I had this problem with my wifes case, my defender worked fine, turned out it was her white inner case. Did you get the Pink on white one? If so, I've been told you can color in the proximity sensor area of the defender with a black sharpie (on the white part) and that shouold fix your problem.
I just tried that as I have her case here still and coloring the proximity sensor area black worked.
