Is billable a request with a 304 response?

In an azure blob storage account, I would like to know if when a request receives a 304 response, this is counted as a billabable request or not

Expires header with a 304 response

I'm using iPlanet 4.1SP9. I've written a custom SAF to add an Expires header to a response. When the page expires the browser send a conditional GET (if-modified-since). iPlanet responds with a plain 304 with no new Expires header. Therefore the page keeps expired in browser and the browser keeps issuing conditional GETs. I want to respond to the conditional GET with a 304 code AND a new Expires header. Can this be accomplished with either standard functionality or a custom SAF.

Associating SOAP Request with Response in Handlers

Hi,
In the handler framework, there are handleRequest(MessageContext) and handleResponse(MessageContext) methods, which allow processing of the SOAP Request and Response envelopes, respectively.
Is there a way to know which request belongs to which response?
I would like to log these request and response envelopes together.

I guess you could create a property in the MessageContext while processing the request to keep a message id, and then access the same property in the response.

Soap request with attachment --problem in deploye to jboss useing Jdevelope

using Jdeveloper and oc4j application server i made two application.
In application one i exposed a web service method.In this application their is a handler class which able to handle soap request and response with attachment.
In application two a client is sends a soap request with attachment.
If i deploye it in oc4j it is working fine. But if i Deploye to JBoss server [i made a jboss application server connection] and then trying to send the soap request with attachment from the client application i gets the following errors--

How do you package you WS client application to be deployed in JBoss?
The JAX-RPC clients are not that portable you may need to recompile the client with JBoss WebService implementation/tools, and check that you do have the different deployment descriptors for the client too.

InfoCube Error Message: Choose a change request with target system BWQ

I have a problem when I want to edit an InfoCube created by other developer. The error message received is as follow:
"<b>Choose a change request with target system BWQ</b>".
When I click on the Documentation (F9) button, the detailed message is:
"Message no. TK511
Diagnosis
The selected change request BWDK901086 has target system .
However, the objects you edit can only be recorded in change requests with the target system BWQ.
The correct target system is determined from the package and transport layer to which the object concerned belongs.
System response
The selected change request BWDK901086 is not used to record the objects.
Procedure
Either choose a different change request or change the target system of the change request BWDK901086.
From the prompt window for change requests, you can display all requests you can use by choosing Own requests.
Alternatively, you can create a new request by choosing Create request.
For more information, see the SAP Library under BC - Basis Components -> Change and Transport System ."

try se09/10 and find request BWDK901086 (use binocular icon) or se03. then double click that request, go to tab 'properties', hope you will see 'Target System' system there, click 'edit'/pencil icon and change it to BWQ.
you may need to change the owner (which may not authorized), ask basis help if necessary.

Method names on "Client Request with Return" nodes

I wasn't sure whether this question would be better here, or in the "integration"
group. The traffic there is somewhat lighter than in here, so perhaps someone
is more likely to read it here :) .
I have two questions about the "method name" in a "Client Request with Return"
node in a Java Process Definition. Apparently the method name is exposed in the
WSDL. I can sort of understand what this method name is used for in the "request"
node, but I fail to understand what the method name corresponds to in the "reply/response"
node of the pair of two nodes. Why does this need to expose a method name in
the WSDL when the point of the node is just to send back a response to the original
request?
Second, in the "Guide to Building Business Processes" document, in the section
titled "Naming the Methods on Client Request with Return Nodes" (page 3-14 in
my copy), the last sentence says "The name must be a valid Java class name".
Is this true? That confuses me.

What do you think is happening here? Specifically if a socket is a connected and a new one comes in. What then?

I have a synchcronous scenario, where I have a special requirement that I want to append a Request Message Field in Response Message Structure while sending response to Sender.
Could someone suggest me probable solution, I have come up with using Value mapping table, but I am restricted to use a proxy for dynamic updates to the table??

Perhaps the easiest would to to try to ask the endpoint to modify the response such that it contains the request. Otherwise, you can use a logic such as saving into a table and then retrieve the values for the response message mapping.

Forward a request with post data to another webApp

I have a servlet that recieves data by post. I need to forward that request with the same info it recieves to another webApp in a different EAR
I know it is possible to forward that request to another servlet in the same webapp, how to do that but to a different webApp in post method (No get method, do no sendRedirect)?

Sending any non-POST-type request with data to CFC

In CF 11 (Developer Edition), non-POST-type requests with data to CFC files seem to get stuck in ColdFusion. I don't believe I've changed anything in CF administration that could affect this, and as far as I can tell I haven't done anything to IIS that would break it either. The issue occurs with both of the CF applications that I'm working on.
Requests to CFMs that contain data work using any of the CRUD methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE), and the IIS handlers are setup to accept all methods for both CFMs and CFCs.
Can anyone else verify whether this issue with requests to CFCs exists in their environment?

Our client makes downpayment request in F-47 and then makes payment (invoice-based) through F-53 or F110.
How can we match the downpayment request with the payment made if it is not through F-48?

Request is as good as maintaining our communication to the vendor.
Its only when the actual payment is done, that a down payment is posted.
Only then it would affect the accounts. Hence until its posted thru F-48, its not affected.
You can post F-47 and do a F110 run which would do a posting in F-48.
Later a payment run can be done again thru F110.

Message V1478 - Credit memo request with reference to an invoice

Dear all,
Creating a credit memo request with reference to an invoice, I get the following message "Material in item 000060 does not exist in plant/storage location".
Of course, this material exists in the plant and the storage location, as we could create the invoice without any problem.

Generally, these errors may appear due to:
- The plant is marked for deletion.
- The plant should be copied from the referenced item.
So, I would suggest you to
- Check copying control for Invoice to Credit memo request, particularly, item.
- Try and create Credit Memo Request with reference to sales order.
- Or if you want rectify a invoice, then use invoice coreection request.

Creating a debit memo request with reference to an invoice

Hi,
An invoice shows wrong MWST value because of incorrect customer tax classification as Tax exempt. I corrected the cust tax classification to "Liable for Tax". Then I tried to create a debit memo request with reference to the incorrect invoice. Thats a requirement by the customer. Invoices with incorrect VAT are not to be cancelled. A specially created VAT only sales order (Debit memo request) is used to create a sales order with 0 net value and correct MWST . But while trying to create the debit memo request, the system picks up the same old condition record for the MWST. How to overcome this situation ?
The copy control for the item category from billing doc to debit memo request is set to "B" that is new pricing. I even tried to update pricing. But it does not work. Changing the Service rendered date or the pricing date to current date also does not help.

This is working fine. What I did was
1: create a new pricing procedure
2: made the PR00 condition statistical
3: using a routine calculate the MWST based on the PR00. But PR00 itself does not contribute to the net value. This part is working fine. I could create debit memos successfully.
The problem is if we change either the customer or the material tax classification after creating the invoice, and then create a debit request with reference to the incorrect invoice, the system still considers the old tax classfication and therefore the old MWST rate. If I create a debit request without reference, the new rate is applicable.

Doubt in customizing request with respect to table entries

I have a doubt in customizing request with respect to table entries.
Suppose I have a customizing request with respect to a table that contains say 10 entries in the development system.
Now I am transporting this request to the quality system in which the same table contains 20 entries.
When I am transporting this table from the development system to the quality system, will my 10 entries in the development system get added to the 20 entries in the quality system or will my table get overwritten in the quality system.
What difference will this be if it is a workbench request ? .

So if we are transporting contents of a table from one system to another, it should always be a customizing request and not a workbench request right.
If the "Delivery Class" of the table is 'C'(Customizing table, maintenance only by cust., not SAP import) it will ask for a customizing request.
If it is 'A'(Application table (master and transaction data)), it will ask for Workbench.
To add to your previous qn, when you transport the entries to subsequent system it will always check the KEY FIELDS and then update. If you see a transport, then the table entries are represented by their key fields.
If you create new entries in your table and transport, it will add the records. Else it will modify them

Error when creating a travel request with Advance amount

Hi Gurus,
When I create a travel request with an Advance amount and try to save the same, the system throws up an error msg : "Trip country does not exist in the system (T005).
However, it allows me to create the travel request without this error if i dont enter any advance amount in the travel request.
I checked the tables V_T706L and V_T706O and found my trip county to be existing.

The following are the prerequisites for transferring trip costs to accounting. In other words when you try to create and save a travel request with advance you are involving accounting entries and therefore the following needed to be checked:
1.Travel Management and Accounting are both at Release 4.5A. If at least one of the systems
has a release level lower than 4.5A, follow the instructions in Customizing for ALE.
2. For payment to be effected, vendor accounts must exist in Accounting for the respective
personnel numbers.
3. The following Accounting tables must be replicated in the Travel Management System using
Customizing transports:
Company Codes (T001)
Countries (T005)
Input Tax Codes (T007A, T007S)
Document Types (T003)
4. The transfer of settlement results
More relevant in your case would be the point 3. Countries(T005) not defined in TM.
