Is create possible to dynamic object?

I want to creating dynamic object.
For example.
class A{
public static void main(String[] args){
testObject("Test");
public static void testObject(String obj){
Class c = Class.forName(obj);
obj o = c.newInstance();
I define object type to use variable obj.
Is it possible?
obj o = c.newInstance();

Still don't understand your question. Maybe this will help:
public class TestNewInstance
     public static void main(String args[])
          throws Exception
          Object o = createNewInstance("java.lang.StringBuffer");
          StringBuffer sb = (StringBuffer)o;
          sb.append("I just created a StringBuffer");
          System.out.println(sb.toString());
     public static Object createNewInstance(String className)
          throws Exception
          return Class.forName(className).newInstance();
}Notice how the code looks better when you use the "Code" tags as explained above?

    Hello Martinez,
    I have attached a sample for structure types. With the Where-Used-List on the Create() Method of the various RTTC classes one may find more samples. If you meant with object on OO Type then it is to mention that this is not possible yet.

  • Is it possible to let Labview create displays himself dynamically?

    the number of displays can´t be fixed right now.
    i want to create a huge number of display by using a menu "create a new display". everyone should show another value from a global variable (Array).
    So i don´t want to use static elements - if i would do so, i had to create about 80 digital displays, 20 analog display and a few graphs. But i don´t need them every time - sometimes i need 3 digital and 15 analog displays, another time i need 60 digital an no analog displays. i only want to create 3 foundamental dislays and use them very often with different properties and pointers to the global variable!
    Is this possible?
    Thanks a lot...

    I have in many applications done this by using the picture control. Jean-Pierre first suggested an excellent approach to this in this link.
    http://exchange.ni.com/servlet/ProcessRequest?RHIVEID=101&RPAGEID=135&HOID=506500000008000000A33B0000&UCATEGORY_0=_49_%24_6_&UCATEGORY_S=0&USEARCHCONTEXT_INCLUDE_0=Ben+picture&USEARCHCONTEXT_INCLUDE_S=0&UPostedFromTimeSearchArg_0=8&UPostedFromTimeSearchArg_1=3&UPostedFromTimeSearchArg_2=2000&UPostedFromTimeSearchArg_S=4&UPostedToTimeSearchArg_0=4&UPostedToTimeSearchArg_1=9&UPostedToTimeSearchArg_2=2004&UPostedToTimeSearchArg_S=4&USEARCHCONTEXT_TIER_0=2&USEARCHCONTEXT_TIER_S=0
    You can use the "Invoke Node" to get the image of a control. If you combine this method with events configured for the picture control, you can simul
    ate normal LV objects.
    This method takes a bit bit of work, but it does allow the GUI to be taylored as your end user requires.
    You do not have to re-code all of the normal behaviour of your control elements. When a clcik is detected on a simulated device, a real LV FP object can be made visable and moved from its off-screen location to where the user clicked, and key-focus transfered. The user then interacts with the LV object that is on top of the the picture if it.
    It is not easy, but it works great!

  • Creating and Binding View Objects dynamically : Oracle Jdeveloper 11g

    Hello,
    We are trying to create and bind view objects dynamically to adf data visualization components.
    The view object is a result of multiple tables.
    We are using Oracle JDeveloper 11g Technical Preview. ( can't upgrade to TP2 or TP3 now).
    We have found this : http://radio.weblogs.com/0118231/stories/2003/07/15/creatingUpdateableMultientityViewObjectDefinitionsDynamically.html on our search for the same.
    The sample application however, is in 10g , hence required migration.
    Also, it was a standalone application with the TestClient.java having a main() method.
    Our requirement is for Web Application; we use Adf+jsf .
    Guidance of any sort is very much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    -Anil Golla

    Hi,
    there also exist a forum for JDeveloper 11: JDeveloper and OC4J 11g Technology Preview
    What you are trying todo is not trivial because you need to not only dynamically create the VO, you would also dynamically need to create the binding meta data for it (assuming you use ADF). Not sure if the API to modify the binding is public, so posting it on the JDeveloper 11 forum bears a glimpse of hope for an answer
    In JDeveloper 10.1.3 you can't do this

  • Error #1056, creating dynamic object

    Hi,
    I am simultaneously creating an object and adding it to an array, perhaps ill-advisedly. The following code worked on the main timeline, but not when I moved it to the constructor of a document class:
    package {
         import flash.geom.Point;
        import flash.display.MovieClip;
        public class IconTour extends MovieClip {
            var thePoint:Point = new Point();
            var defaultColor:Number;
            var overColor:Number;
            var iconCreationList:Array = new Array();
            //var xx:MyIcon;
            public function IconTour(){
                thePoint.x=50;
                thePoint.y=300;
                defaultColor=0x7dc2df;
                overColor=0x788dec;
                iconCreationList.push(this["xx"+iconCreationList.length] = new MyIcon(thePoint,"folder","Text for the folder", "Folder", defaultColor, overColor));
                for each (var iconObject:MyIcon in iconCreationList) {
                    addChild(iconObject);
    The following error is generated:
    >ReferenceError: Error #1056: Cannot create property xx0 on IconTour.
        at IconTour()
    I guess this is because xx0 isn't declared? How does one declare a dynamic object/variable?

    Nope. No mention. However, I guess I don't need to dynamically create a variable as this works:
    iconCreationList.push(xx = new MyIcon(thePoint,"folder","Text for the folder", "Folder", defaultColor, overColor));
    iconCreationList.push(xx = new MyIcon(thePoint,"assignments","Text for the assignment", "Assignments", defaultColor, overColor));
    where this does not:
    iconCreationList.push(this["xx"+iconCreationList.length] = new MyIcon(thePoint,"quiz","Text for the quiz", "Quiz", defaultColor, overColor));
    iconCreationList.push(this["xx"+iconCreationList.length] = new MyIcon(thePoint,"assignments","Text for the assignment", "Assignments", defaultColor, overColor));
    AS doesn't care if I add more than one object to the array that is named xx. I probably won't be referencing xx by that name anyway, just by iconCreationList[1].

  • [JS, CS3] Creating a new boolean object. Is it possible?

    Hello,
    I am wondering if I can create a new boolean object in InDesign that I can use in a script I am working on. What I am doing is selecting some text and then manipulating other aspects of the selection's paragraph. I want to be able to determine if certain characters are selected, so the new boolean object would be, let's say "selected." If a character within the paragraph is selected, it's value would be "true," while other characters in the paragraph that are not selected would remain "false." Is this possible? I am also thinking that I could use an already existing boolean value, such as strikeThrough and then turn it off at the end of the script. But this is not elegant if the text were to REALLY need strikeThrough (not very likely, but just sayin'). Thanks for any advice.
    Regards,
    Len Swierski

    Len,
    Your current approach is the only feasible one. You can't create new properties for Indesign's objects. In some cases it's easy: text frames, for instance, can have their label set to a certain value, as can several other objects (cells, the application, etc.).
    But characters don't have the label property, so you have to use an existing property, as you did with overstrike. If you don't like using that particular one, have a look through the OMV under "Character" and see if there's a property that suits your needs better than overstrike.
    What you can use use this: in a script you can assign a character (text, word, etc.) an underline colour without setting underline. In the interface you'd have to enable underline, then set a colour, then disable underline. In a script enabling and disabling underline isn't necessary: just set myCharacter.underlineColor to some value ('Black' for "yes", 'White' for "no" or something like that).
    So though you can't add new properties to characters, they have so many already that you're sure to find one you can exploit.

  • Possible bug when creating multiple detail view objects

    using jdev 11.1.1.0.0 to build jsf/adf applications. I wanted to report what seems like a bug in 11g. I have a parent table which has two child tables. After creating the appropriate entities, associations, views, and view links, the app module looks like this:
    MasterView
    --DetailView1
    --DetailView2
    The two detail view objects are on the same level, they are both direct children of the Master view.
    Here's what's happening:
    1) I create the master entity/view objects (MasterView)
    2) I create one of the detail entity/view objects (DetailView1).
    3) I create the association and view link to establish relationship between MasterView and DetailView1. Everything works fine.
    4) I create the entity/view objects for second detail view (DetailView2)
    5) When I attempt to create a second view link (based off an association) to establish the relationship between MasterView and DetailView2, the query clauses of the Create View Link wizard (screens 4 and 5) do not get created properly. I finish the wizard and save. Not only does this view link not get created properly, but in the process the query clauses that were defined in the first view link between MasterView and DetailView1 are wiped out. This will break any coordination between master and detail views in both the app module tester and runtime. Has anyone seen this problem?

    fyi, it looks like this issue has been resolved with jdev 11.1.1.0.2 (Update 2)

  • Is it possible to dynamically create psp variables?

    I'd like to be able to dynamically create psp variables on the fly.  Without getting into details; using straight shared variables defined in a library is too constraining for my application.  I've found that I can create PSP variables dynamically using DataSocket VIs in the System directory (psp://localhost/system/), though I can't seem to do it with the LV Shared Variable VIs.  I was just curious if there was any way to programmatically create psp variables without using DataSocket VIs.

    In the client yes,
    Dynamically Creating Shared Variables
    The SVE will automatically create the target variable with default properties when a client attempts to connect to a URL with the following format.
    psp://computer/System/shared_variable, where shared_variable is the named tag for the data."
    On the server you create them. I believe, if my memory is correct, if you have DSC option there is code to dynamically create them on server side.

  • Creating Forte FieldWidgets Dynamically at Runtime

    Hi Everyone,
    Could someone please help me with the following problem I have when
    creating Forte fieldwidgets dynamically at run-time. I am using Forte
    ver. 3.0.G.2.
    (-1-) I have a window class with an empty gridfield, <grfMain>, inside a
    viewport. The idea is to populate the gridfield with DataField
    fieldwidgets dynamically at runtime. Depending on some input criteria,
    sometimes some of the DataFields need to map to IntegerNullables, some
    to DoubleNullables and some to DateTimeNullables. (Please note that I
    cannot use the Forte window workshop to create these fieldwidgets,
    because different types of fieldwidgets will be needed at different
    times, in different numbers, at run-time. ) Here is a sample of how I am
    currently trying to achieve this:
    dfDate : DataField = new;
    dfDate.MaskType = MK_Template;
    dfDate.DateTemplate = new( value='dd/mm/yyyy' );
    dfDate.Row = 1;
    dfDate.Column = 2;
    dfDate.Parent = <grfMain>;
    dfInt : DataField = new;
    dfInt.MaskType = MK_INTEGER;
    dfInt.Row = 2;
    dfInt.Column = 2;
    dfInt.Parent = <grfMain>;
    dfReal : DataField = new;
    dfReal.MaskType = MK_FLOAT;
    dfReal.Row = 3;
    dfReal.Column = 2;
    dfReal.Parent = <grfMain>;
    The code above is called after the window has been opened with the
    Open() statement.
    Looking at the code above, one obvious omission is that the "Mapped
    Type" of the Datafields are not set up. In the Forte window workshop, an
    interface is provided to set up the "Mapped Type" of the Datafield
    widgets, but I'm not sure how to do that dynamically, and that is
    basically my biggest problem here.
    (-2-) If I now run the window class, the Datafield widgets get created,
    and they all have the correct input maks, but no validation gets done
    when one tabs away from the field. For example, Datafields with
    MaskType=MK_INTEGER will gladly accept '--1--0++7', while Datafields
    created in the window workshop (mapping to IntegerNullables) will do a
    validation, and not allow one to tab out of the field before the extra
    minus and plus signs are not removed.
    I have the same problem with the Datafields which have
    MaskType=MK_Template and DateTemplate='dd/mm/yyyy'. For the date, one
    can enter something like '2*\**\****', and leave the field, while the
    same type of datafield created in the window workshop (mapped to a
    DateTimeNullable), will not allow you to leave the field before a valid
    date has not been entered. To summarise, the input masks of my
    dynamically created Datafields work fine, but no validation gets done
    when the field looses the focus.
    (-3-) As a test, I used the Forte debugger ("view"-"local variables") to
    look at the differences between Datafields created dynamically, and
    those created in the Forte window workshop. One very obvious difference
    was that Datafield attribute "MapTypeName" was filled in for the window
    workshop Datafields, but not for my dynamically created Datafields. The
    problem is that Forte does not allow me to set this attribute
    dynamically in my code. How else can I setup the Mapped Type
    dynamically?
    (-4-) In order to have a consistent look-and-feel throughout our Forte
    project, we are making use of Domain classes for DATE and DECIMAL data
    entry fields. My questions are:
    (4.1) How must I go about creating Datafields dynamically that make use
    of these Domain classes?
    (4.2) Is it also a matter of setting up the "MapTypeName" attribute,
    which I cannot seem to do?
    (4.3) Is the mapping done differently for Domain classes?
    (-5-) Another interesting thing to note for Datafields created in the
    Forte Window Workshop, is that if the mapped type is IntegerNullable
    with Input Mask = Integer, or DoubleNullable with Input Mask = Float,
    then the Object that the Datafield widget maps to, must first be
    instantiated before the Loose-Focus validations will start to work. For
    example, if a Datafield widget called "dfTestInt" was created in the
    Forte window workshop, which maps to an IntegerNullable, and Input Mask
    = Integer, then the following line is needed before the window is
    displayed: dfTestInt = new;
    Without this line, one can enter something like '2---3+++7', and leave
    the field.
    This is not true for Datafields where the mapped type is
    DateTimeNullable with say Input Mask Template='dd\mm\yyyy'. In this case
    validations are done even thought the object being mapped to, has not
    been instantiated yet. In other words you will never be able to enter
    '2*/**/****', and leave the field for datafield created in the window
    workshop. Maybe in this case the validation is being done by the
    template itself?
    Thanks in advance

    what I mean is rendering JSF components on the fly, becuase some time you don't know things at design time. Lets say I am designing a page in creator that shows the total number of dependants that belongs to a primary inusrance member in text boxes. Of course we don't know in advance how many dependants we have for a specific member unless we go to databse and fetch all the data at runtime. Desiging some thing dynamic like that is very easy in CGI or ASP/JSP but JSF model seems very static due to it's design time feature.
    So is it possible with JSF or not?

  • Create a Table Dynamically in WEB Dynpro Java with diferent type of column

    Hi everyone, I have a question if is possible to create a table dynamically in Web Dynpro Java?, depending of the RFC consults create the rows dynamically, ,this table must have diferent type of columns, for example link column (when the user click this link execute an action and show a adobe interactive form in another view), image column (show an image depending of the information)
    Thank you everyone
    Atte Israel

    Hello,Israel.
    Yes , it is possible through dynamic programming in wdModify of the View.
    You can do this ,for example, using cell variants.
    IWDTable tab = (IWDTable) view.getElement("TABLE_NAME");
    IWDTableStandardCell cellV= (IWDTableStandardCell) view.createElement(IWDTableStandardCell.class,"TableStandardCell"+i);
    cellV.setVariantKey("NotEditableVariant");
    cellV.setCellDesign((WDTableCellDesign)wdContext.nodeTableDaysTitle().currentTableDaysTitleElement().getAttributeValue("CellDesign"+i));
    IWDTextView textViewi= (IWDTextView) view.createElement(IWDTextView.class,"TextView"+i);  // -- here you control the type of the object that is displayed in the cell
    textViewi.bindText(dayAttrib);
    cellV.setEditor(textViewi);
    tabColumn.addCellVariant(cellV);
    tab.addGroupedColumn(tabColumn,tab.numberOfGroupedColumns());
    Using this code you can control even specific cells in the table and not only columns.
    Hope this helps you,
    Constantine

  • How to create a constructor dynamically

    Hi ,
    I want to create a constructor dynamically.
    I have a bean class with 30 fields.
    In my application I want to use this bean objects to hold the data returned from a ResultSet.
    But the problem is I have dynamic columns returned by the ResultSet. some times it gives 10 & some times it will be 20.
    I want to create a constructor on the fly with these dynamic columns.
    Is it possible with the reflection API ? if possible, please give me sample code or link.
    thanks
    bhuvan

    One way I have implemented a solution for this issue is creating a 'TransferEntity' that contains the generic values (in an array usually). Then you can wrapper this class with a "friendlier" one that has Get/Set methods. This allows you to always get the values you need (because the TransferEntity is inside) if they are variable. If not variable, you can simply use the Get/Set (which would reach inside the TransferEntity). Depending on how you're using the bean, you can simply put all the Get/Set methods inside and either return null, throw a NoSuchFieldException, etc.
    Hope this helps...

    When you say you're having trouble "opening" the BPM Object, is it possible you instead mean you're having trouble expanding the BPM Object?
    Just a guess, but if you're having trouble expanding the BPM Object I'd suspect that the object's xcdl contents might be corrupted. You might want to consider exporting and saving a backup of the project and then try deleting the object from the Project Navigator. Rebuild the BPM Object once you've deleted it.

  • How to create a viewobject dynamically without using wizard

    Hi,
    I am Using jDEV 11G, i need to create a viewobject dynamically without using wizard, without binding from any entity.
    Actually my intention is to make a grid like in .Net, when a user want to create a new row in RichTable without using DB.
    just like shopping cart.
    i have done thsi code:
    ViewObjectImpl view=new ViewObjectImpl();
    view.addDynamicAttributeWithType("Att1","String",null);
    view.addDynamicAttributeWithType("Att2","String",null);
    view.addDynamicAttributeWithType("Att2","String",null);
    Row rw=view.createRow();
    rw.setAttribute("Att1","First1");
    rw.setAttribute("Att2","First2");
    rw.setAttribute("Att2","First3");
    view.insertRow(rw);
    I have a RichTable , i need bind this viewobject into that.

    Hi Vipin,
    You can create the view object with rows populated at run time.
