Is it possible to alter generated code?

When adding an image to a page in Dreamweaver, you first select the image from the chose file dialog, then the code comes out like this:
However, I'm going to be implimenting a lot of Facebook to a certain site and they require rel="image_src" in the image tag. Is there a way in Dreamweaver where I can change the default generated code when inserting an image to include this? The idea of adding this every single time I add an image to a page (and there are a lot of them) makes me cringe.

If you want it for every single image that you insert, you can edit Image.js in the Dreamweaver Configuration folder. On Windows 7, it's located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS5\configuration\Objects\Common. On Mac OS X, it will be in a similar location in the Applications folder.
Locate the following lines (45-49 in Dreamweaver CS5):
if (imgDim){
  rtnStr= '<img src="' + newURL + '" width="' + imgDim[0] +'" height="' + imgDim[1] + '">';
}else{
  rtnStr= '<img src="' + newURL + '">';
Change them like this:
if (imgDim){
  rtnStr= '<img src="' + newURL + '" width="' + imgDim[0] +'" height="' + imgDim[1] + '" rel="image_src">';
}else{
  rtnStr= '<img src="' + newURL + '" rel="img_src">';

  • Alter express code to include views and unions for top dim items

    If a user selects a dimension item at the top most level, the explain plan shows that it does a full table scan of the fact table instead of using the materialized views. If we add the highlighted information(see below) to the osa generated sql, then the explain plan does what we want it to do.
    Do you know if it is possible to alter the express code to include the views and unions for the dimension items that are at the top most level in the hierarchy? I think that I need to alter how the sq.query.drv program figures out what to include in the sql. But this is beyond my express comfort level.
    The query below is generated by the osa cube and we want to include the highlighted information in the sql that is generated which will force it to use the correct query rewrite and return data in a reasonable time frame.
    Is this possible and has anyone tried this before?

    David,
    When u add a field to a header table. U can use the User data source to bind it. Even if u add the DBDatasource the Coulmn needs to be present in the DB at the time of setting the data source to the Field in the UI.
    Actually if u add a header filed to the DB it pops up on the User-Fields Form i guess u can use it as no extra code is needed. To view the UDF form VIEW--User Defined Fields.
    Hope it helps,

  • In wadl2java-generated code, NullPointerException from HttpTransportPipe

    I wrote a WADL document and used JAXB schemagen to create an XSD for my Jersey RESTful web-service, and referenced that XSD in that WADL document.
    Then, I used wadl2java to generate client-code for my service.
    However, then, I had numerous jar-dependency problems while trying to run that generated code. Perhaps I got myself into some trouble by choosing the wrong jar-file in one case or another. I thought it was odd that one of the missing class-files was SOAPException. Another one is part of FastInfoSet. And one of the problems seemed to require adding a JSR-related jar provided by BEA.
    I managed to find some possibly relevant source-code. However, it seems to simply indicate no need for an outputStream for a GET-request, which makes lots of sense:
    From HttpClientTransport:
    118:            public OutputStream getOutput() {
    119:                try {
    120:                    createHttpConnection();
    121:                    sendCookieAsNeeded();
    122:                    // for "GET" request no need to get outputStream
    123:                    if (requiresOutputStream()) {At this point, I'm not able to use wadl2java, thanks to this failure to get this generated client-code running. I'd like to avoid writing custom client-code instead. I'd sooner revert to SOAP and wsdl2java.
    Any help with this would be much appreciated.

    Thanks, that solved that problem.
    Then, however, I had a couple of other problems, having to do with namespace declarations. I've apparently fixed them.
    The one remaining problem is that the generated code seems to treat a certain template parameter as if it were a header-parameter. The WADL-file definitely uses style="template" for that parameter.
    I temporarily manually patched the generated EndPoint class to get it working.
    The effect of this problem was that the result was in the form of the HTML-message returned by Apache when a resource cannot be found. That was because that template parameter was missing and was being passed instead in a header.
    Perhaps I'll investigate this further at some point. However, "time's a wastin'", and reverting to SOAP is now quite likely.
    Thanks.

  • Embed labview generated code with c++ gui application

    Hey everyone ,
      I am very new to labview and trying to learn it  ... but before that i wanted to make sure a doubt which i have in my mind , the problem is that i have a realtime GUI application built on c++ widgets and i want to change the existing DSP block in this application with the code generated by using the LABVIEW , i am sorry that have very
    less amount of knowledge regarding labview so i turn up with thread ... So can generate c++ code for the DSP blocks designed in labview ... if yes how and if not why . Any
    sincere help will be appreciated . And I very much apologise for any mistakes in my question .
    Thanks

    Thanks rolf, is it possible that i use labview to disign my DSP block only and the output be fed to my custom c++ blocks and also wxwidget GUI ... suggest some means thanks ...
    Well, have you followed the link I gave in my post? You can download an evaluation version of the add-on and try it out in LabVIEW. It generates C code, not C++, but that should be no problem, since it is very easy to call C code from a C++ application. I can't vouch for the suitability of this add-on for you, nor do I know the exact price range so that are certainly things you have to do for your own.
    As to nathans solution, that could work too. If your application is for Windows, or MacOS X, or Linux you can create a shared library from your LabVIEW code and call it as such from your C++ application.
    Personally I would find it a rather roundabout way to include LabVIEW generated code in a wxWidget application. One of the strengths of LabVIEW is not only signal acquisition and analysis but also simple GUI design, at least as long as you are after a functional GUI, and not a very specific style of a GUI. So I would never even consider to do the GUI part with anything but LabVIEW if some other parts are already to be done in LabVIEW.

  • Executing OWB generated code outside OWB deployment manager

    We are thinking to develop data loading programs using OWB but ship the generated code directly to user. We're looking at possibility to let end-user to invoke generated mappings w/o installing OWB. Because we plan not to offer customization to our users in our first release, there is no point to make OWB a mandatory pre-requisite.
    Other than running mappings from OWB deployment manager and OEM, could user execute mapping code from something like SQL plus and eBizSuite's concurrent program? My guess is yes.
    Then what is the minimum installation requirement for end-user to perform. Does user have to install run-time repository and target schema from OWB installation CD?
    Thanks a lot!

    Jerry,
    There are several alternatives for running OWB mappings in addition to Deployment Manager:
    1. From SQL Plus. Requires no part of OWB install to work, it just connects remotely to Runtime repository. See template in [OWB install Home]/owb/rtp/sql/sqlplus_exec_template.sql
    2. From OEM. Same: requires no part of OWB install, connects remotely to Runtime repository. See template in [OWB install Home]/owb/rtp/sql/oem_exec_template.sql. Also see "Oracle9i Warehouse Builder User's Guide
    Release 9.2", page 13-19, "Scheduling Mappings and Process Flows".
    3. From Oracle Workflow. OWB Deployment Manager deploys into Workflow in this case.
    4. From any XPDL complaint process flow engine.

  • How to change the merge condition in OWB generated code

    Hi,
    This is regarding the OWB generated code for cubes. We required to change the ON condition of MERGE statement. OWB merge the records on the basis of dimension keys only. Is there any ways to provide the customised merge condition or is it possible to add a measure of the cube to be used in ON condition of the merge?

    Hi,
    cant´t you customize the generated Code in the Database?
    I know that owb has the trait to do the following:
    If you create a Mapping, etc. the generated Code will be deployed as PL/SQL Package in the Database Schema.
    Now you can edit the Code as Schema User right in the Database.
    Don´t edit it in the Metadata, only in the Databse.
    If you run now any Process in OWB, he´ll execute your edited Code,
    ´cause he just takes whats still there. :-)
    It´s not realy clean, but in most Times that works.

  • Modifying Form Generator code groups

    Does anyone know if it is possible to override the code that the forms generator uses for generated code groups (eg CGCD$QRY_SERVER_VER) at one single place instead of overriding the event code segments for every Forms Module in the Design Editor.
    Kind regards Gerrit Bouhuis.

    Hi Mandy,
    I'm not sure what you mean bij 'form generator code groups'. Do you perhaps mean the logic definitions that appear when you add an event to a form? (Module definition -> application logic -> events -> create event)

  • Generating code in OWB mapping for valid operating modes

    Hi all,
    When i generate the map in OWB it will generate a code in default operating mode. But it's written in OWB documents that During code generation, Warehouse Builder generates code for the specified default operating mode as well as the unselected modes.
    Can i find the generating code for the unselected modes? If possible then how can i find? Plzz help.
    Regards,
    Sumanta

    Hi Sumanta.
    If my understanding is right than you are looking for a error handling feature in OWB. Well in such case you need to look at the concept of Shadow Tables in OWB. TO know more about the fucnctionality of shadow tables please follow this link.
    Using Data Rules
    It has most of the information. If you still hav any clarifications, you can post it here.
    I dont know much about operating modes.
    Hope this is what you were looking for!

  • Modifing generated code

    Hi,
    Can we tweak the generated code manually and retain it in mapping for shipping it to customer?
    As each mapping creates a package which we can change from backend but those changes will not reflect in mapping.
    I want to know how this manual changes can be shipped to a customer as part of .mdl..or do we need to send separate package files?
    Another thing...as we can define new locations and deploy the schema but as we dont have access to customer site, so we may need to send mdl files and deploy them either through OWB or the OMB scripts...is there any other way too?
    Thanks
    -AJ

    Hi AJ
    FYI, if you tweak the generated Mapping-Code you´ll loose the oracle support in that special case. I won´t recommend to do that.
    But if, it should be possible to import that code as a normal package into the owb-repos and chip it via mdl to an other environment.

  • Edit forte's generated code

    How in the world do you edit Forte's auto-generated code? I know there's a setting somewhere in the gui, but I can't find it.

    If you select a component and go to the code generation tab you can insert your own post/pre init/creation code for that component and your code will appear in the un-editable section of the code. This is still not good enough though, because you cant actually change existing lines of code... but maybe you could copy a line of code eg. connectionSource1.setUsername("UserOne"); copy the code into the code generation property box and alter the code e.g connectionSource1.setUsername(userNameVariable); and that should work ok .... maybe not hehe but it could be worth a try :)

  • OWB Error while generating Code for a mapping

    I have a simple mapping loading from a source to a flat file. When I try to generate code it gives me the following Error
    VLD-2357: Target Data File name not specified for file <target Flat file name>.
    I am new to OWB so any help on the same will be greatly appreciated. How can I specify target Data File name in the mapping configuration under Flat file operators
    Thanks
    Anish

    If you configure the mapping in the UI from the main design tree and select the name of your file operator under the tree node 'Flat File Operators' on the right hand side panel the properties should be displayed - one of these properties is 'Target Data File Name', enter the name of your target data file name.
