Is it possible to download FREE iBooks on an iPad cart?

I understand that the cart uses one Apple ID for 25 iPads and that there are copyright issues. However, if the iBook is a free book, shouldn't we be able to download it to all of our tablets?

Yes you can install iBook or any other app on all 25 of your iPads in the cart. You will want to use a free program called Apple Configurator. With Configurator you can deploy apps and configuration profiles for your cart of iPads. For paid apps, you can sign up for Apple's Volume Purchase Plan for Education to purchase multiple licensees for apps and use Configurator to deploy them. https://www.apple.com/education/it/vpp/

You can contact iTunes and ASK for a refund. Then make make an exception to their all sale are final policy.

If you can you can choose the None option and only put the card info in when you want to buy something. It also makes your account less suceptable to hackers as there is nothing that they can use to buy anything.

I think that the trick to this is that you have to try to download a free app in order to get the iTunes store to ask you to create the account.

II downlaoded an Ibook on my Ipad. I can not find it in ibook. Where did it go.

If you downloaded it from the ibookstre then it should be in the iBooks app - in iBooks you've got 'Books' selected via the Collection button at the top of the bookshelf ? And does the ibook show as 'downloaded' when you tap on the Store button at the top left of the iBooks app and then go into the Purchased tab at the bottom ?
Have you tried closing iBooks app completely and seeing if the book shows when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the iBooks app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the iBooks app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option if the two above don't work is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Your account needs to be verified by adding billing info to your account. Once the account is verified, you can remove the info and use the account.
